The Price of the Wrong Target

The policeman whose attempt to subdue the unarmed German, and not the knife-wielding Diversity, has spawned many a meme, is an obvious metaphor for the West.

A 29-year-old police officer who was repeatedly stabbed during a frenzied attack at an anti-Islam rally in Germany has died. Five others – including a well-known German Islam critic – were wounded when a knifeman launched the rampage in the city of Mannheim on Friday. The policeman was ‘stabbed several times in the area of the head’ while trying to intervene, local police said in a statement. He underwent emergency surgery following the attack and was put in an artifical coma but died of his injuries on Sunday.

Live by the Diversity, die by the Diversity.

The Lethality of Low-IQ Demographics

Karl Denninger is not at all sanguine about the future of a United States that has lost an average 10 IQ points or more since 1965:

You need about a 115 IQ to build and maintain modern civilization.

Examples? Too many to count. How about Flint’s water system? It poisoned a bunch of kids, remember?

Why didn’t it poison kids for the previous 80 years? It had been there that long, with the same lead service lines, but didn’t poison anyone.

Is lead a great material for water feed pipes? Depends on when. Today, no. HDPE is better in all respects; it can tolerate freezing, modest movement and it is nearly impermeable to both the water and outside contaminants, including the chlorine used for disinfection. You probably know this stuff today as “PEX” in a house but in larger diameters — usually black in color and heat-welded at junctions — it is commonly used for water mains as well.

But 80 years ago it didn’t exist.

Lead did. And it too can tolerate a modest amount of movement and is nearly impermeable to contaminates inside and out. Oh, and it self-protects almost-immediately if the water balance is held at the correct level and thus the oxide and mineral layer that immediately forms on it, while the lines are being flushed during installation and the tests on the house, render it safe.

Now put an acidic water supply down it and that layer is destroyed with the lead leaching into the water.

The 115+ IQ people who built and ran the water plant at Flint all those years knew this, and knew how to keep it safe. They drank out of the same lines and so not only did they know how they had plenty of incentive to not screw up — and as professionals who were smart, they didn’t screw up.

Then Shaqueena, or her analog with a <115 IQ took over. And changed the water source. And, at the same time, didn’t check and make sure the chemical and pH balance remained correct because the intellectual firepower to do so was simply no longer there. The result was a bunch of poisoned kids.

Would you use a lead service line today for a new installation? Of course not. But is it unsafe? Not as long as the people running the plant are of sufficient intelligence to operate modern industrial and environmental machinery and not fuck it up.

John Red Eagle and I warned about this back in 2015 in CUCKSERVATIVE. The same problem that is presently afflicting the USA is about to hit the UK and Europe as well. It’s not noticeable at first, because it doesn’t matter if your kebab sellers, taxi drivers, and other common immigrant occupations are filled by newcomers with lower IQs than the natives.

But once the second and third generations start competing with the natives, and outcompeting them thanks to DEI initiatives and shameless ethnic nepotism, the lower-IQ effect hits with a vengeance, particularly as they begin claiming policy-making positions for which they are absolutely and unequivocally unsuited.

Translation: US infrastructure is going to rapidly decline to the Mexican level. Northern European infrastructure is going to rapidly decline to the US level. Southern European infrastructure won’t change. And the relative power of China and Russia vis-a-vis the West will continue to increase.

The End of an Era

Restaurants closing in 2024:

  • Fuddruckers is expected to close ALL locations by the end of the year
  • Old Country Buffet is closing ALL remainder locations
  • IHOP is closing 100 locations
  • Buffalo Wild Wings is closing ALL Canada locations as well as 60 locations in the US
  • Applebee’s is closing 35 locations
  • Red Lobster is closing 50 locations as they enter bankruptcy
  • Denny’s is closing 20 locations by the end of the year
  • Marie Callender’s is shutting down ALL remainder locations
  • Pizza Hut is planning to close 500 locations
  • Outback Steakhouse is closing 41 of their 700 locations
  • Sai Baro is closing a total of 50 locations with majority being mall locations
  • Mard Pizza is closing a total of 27 locations
  • Ruby Tuesday is closing 16 more locations in 2024.
  • BDQ is closing 8 of their 59 locations.
  • Joe’s Crab Shack is closing 41 of their 60 locations
  • Bonefish Grill is closing 7 locations

This is what cultural and economic decline looks like. Apparently 60 years of relentless immigration are not, in fact, good for the economy or the traditional culture. I wonder, however, how much of these failures are related to economic contraction, reduced consumer spending, and excessive debt versus the lack of appeal held by these traditional restaurant franchises for the newcomers.

UPDATE: A reader writes to explain what he saw at Outback Steakhouse:

Your assessment of the restaurant closures is spot on. I worked at an Outback for 5 years in a nice Chicago Suburb. When I started, Outback was still in its prime but only a year in they began to shift their marketing campaign. Between couponing, offering deals like “all you can eat shrimp”, and bending over for any customer that had the slightest complaint by comping their meal, it slowly but consistently brought the level of the clientele down. This was especially frustrating for myself and the servers alike that were used to 20% tips being the norm (when good service was provided of course) – however with the cheaper and more diverse customers, the tips became less and less. I think what happened is that Outback as a corporation became short-sighted and wanted to attract new customers but in the end it only caused them to be hurt by having to shrink margins to just keep these new customers happy by giving away so many freebees. A few years after I left, to no surprise, the location that I worked at closed.

Sweden Has a Gun Problem

Perhaps they should try banning guns? I’m told gun control is the answer when there is a problem of excess shootings:

Sweden has suffered an extraordinary spate of violence in recent months, particularly in Uppsala and its neighbour to the south, capital Stockholm. At its worst in September and October, barely a day went by without a shooting, bombing or hand grenade attack — sometimes several. The Nordic country has gone from having one of the lowest levels of fatal shootings in Europe to one of the highest in just a decade.

I wonder what could have changed in the last ten years. Gun sales must be up considerably in Sweden!

Diversity is Mediocrity

Item 1: a selection from Cuckservative, published in 2015:

Without question the worst effect caused by 50 years of failure, and the one most likely to have the most severe long-term consequences, is the negative effect immigration has had on the collective national intelligence. Researchers around the world have observed that the nations of the West have been gradually becoming less intelligent; the Danish military measured a 1.5 point decline in the average IQ of its soldiers between 1998 and 2014, while the average British 14-year-old lost two IQ points from 1980 to 2008. The same is true for the USA, where a three-point average IQ gain that took place after the Melting Pot migration ended has been entirely reversed as a result of immigration from lower-IQ nations.

By multiplying the average measured IQs for the four major ethnic groups in the United States with their changing demographic ratios, we can calculate how the demographic changes have affected the national intelligence over time. In 1960, we calculate the national IQ average to have been 100.3. By 2010, the average national IQ had fallen four points, to 96. By 2030, if the current population estimates are correct, it will fall another point, to 95. Lest you think that average national intelligence is irrelevant, note that just that four-point difference is essentially equal to the difference between countries such as Austria, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, and countries such as Uruguay and Portugal. There is a strong correlation between societal wealth and average national intelligence as measured in IQ.

Even the left-wing British paper, the Guardian, was recently forced to take note of this phenomenon, as it reported that scientists have determined genes influence academic ability across all subjects, and that as much as 60 percent of the observed differences between various population groups can be explained by genetic factors. So, the mass migration of the last 50 years has been materially dysgenic and has literally made Americans stupider on average. It’s not just you, mass entertainment really has been dumbed down in recent decades in order to appeal to what is an even lower common denominator than before.

Item 2: an article in the Daily Mail, 23 April 2024:

America’s fight to save handwriting from extinction as IQs begin to fall for first time ever and teachers warn some 20-year-olds can’t sign checks anymore. Previous studies have revealed that IQ scores have dropped for the first time in a century and indicated that technology could be to blame. Last year, researchers at the University of Oregon and Northwestern reported that IQ scores had dropped because technology shortens attention spans and decreases the need to think deeply.

The dirt is not magic. Being around magic white people doesn’t make Africans or Papua New Guineans any smarter, the so-called Flynn Effect notwithstanding. The USA is no longer British, it is no longer even European, it is now rapidly approaching the human genetic average. So, exceptional results should no longer be expected, and it can be reasonably assumed that as an increasingly diverse and mediocre empire, it will rapidly be surpassed in every way by higher-performance, more genetically-homogenous nations.

One cannot adopt dysgenic and dyscivic policies without experiencing the inevitable consequences.

Terminal Stage

The Ukrainian opposition is speaking out against what the foreign Clown World regime has done to its people ever since it gained independence:

One of the most important reasons why states collapse is the degradation of their elites. Historians argue that the Roman Empire fell not so much from the onslaught of barbarians, but rather that it rotted away from the inside. If we take our own history, roughly the same thing happened with ancient Kiev. For centuries, Kiev was the capital of the Russian early feudal state, but lost its significance as a result of civil strife caused by the princely elite.

Political clown President Zelensky has irreparably damaged the foundations of Ukraine’s statehood and may very well end up being the country’s last president. Every Ukrainian president, having received power from the hands of the people, tried to sell it, and each time was more and more successful. At the moment, Ukraine has already been sold in a global political auction, and when it is finally used up, will be thrown into a landfill.

Does this suggest that the people of Ukraine are flawed? No, it suggests that a flawed elite has formed which cannot and does not want to govern the people.

Today, Western propagandists work to convince Ukrainians that they will not succeed without their own statehood, but in reality this statehood was sold to international corporations a long time ago. In its present form, such statehood does not correspond to the national interests of Ukrainians. Today, Ukraine’s elite has not only sold the interests of the country, but sold its people into becoming cannon fodder for other, more powerful countries’ geopolitical ambitions.

The process of the country’s collapse has already begun, and is at the terminal stage.

The same thing has happened to Americans too, but most of them don’t realize it yet. The main reason no foreign elite should ever be permitted anywhere near the center of national power and influence, regardless of the system of government, is because they will inevitably utilize it against the interests of the the nation itself.

This is why we see the same process playing out again and again regardless of whether the national government is organized in the form of a monarchy, an aristocracy, or a democracy. The nominal form of the governmental structure doesn’t actually matter very much when the interests of the elite are fundamentally at odds with the interests of the people.

“It’s Theirs Now”

This is part of the journey toward the estimated 2033 breakup of the political entity known as “the United States”:

A video posted by reliable Fox News reporter Matt Finn shows illegal immigrants ravaging a mountain in Sunland Park, New Mexico, while Border Patrol agents apparently won’t defend it, calling the mountain the Cartel’s. Finn wrote in the video post, “Unbelievable. A Border Patrol agent in Sunland Park, NM just told us a mountain in the United States is ‘not ours’ anymore. ‘It’s theirs.’ Referring to cartels.”

It’s always impossible for the people being replaced to understand what is happening until it is too late to do anything about it. This isn’t a new or unprecedented development. It happened when Europeans invaded North America and displaced the American Indians; due to the divided and dispersed number of the American Indian tribes, it took literal centuries before the tribes even started trying to band together to resist their replacement.

Lombardia, a province in Italy, isn’t named after any of the Italians who lived there, but rather, the Lombard tribe that invaded in the 6th Century AD.

In the spring of 568, the Lombards, led by King Alboin, invaded Italy, breaking the political unity of the Italian Peninsula for the first time since the Roman conquest. The Lombards were joined by numerous Saxons, Heruls, Gepids, Bulgars, Thuringians, and Ostrogoths, and their invasion of Italy was almost unopposed. By late 569, they had conquered all of northern Italy and the principal cities north of the Po River except Pavia, which fell in 572. They established a Lombard Kingdom in north and central Italy, which reached its zenith under the eighth-century ruler Liutprand. The invasion was opposed by the Byzantine Empire, which retained control of much of the peninsula until the mid-8th century.

And no doubt the Arabs living in Palestine at the beginning of the 20th Century had no idea that by the end of it, they would be almost entirely pushed out of their lands by recent immigrants from Eastern Europe. Not that the land hadn’t exchanged hands many times, beginning with the great replacement of the Canaanite people by the Hebrew tribes.

Now, this doesn’t mean that Americans are going to end up on reservations of white people in a manner similar to the fate of the American Indian; there are far too many Americans and they are not anywhere nearly so badly outnumbered as the Indians were by the mid-1800s. But it does mean that Americans will lose control of large swaths of territory, both in practical and political terms, on the North American continent. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, since homogenous nations always rise from the collapse of heterogenous empires.

But no matter what happens, this is evidence that the Imperial USA is already dead, even if the imperialists in Washington DC and Manhattan haven’t accepted the fact yet.

Is Switzerland Still Democratic?

It appears we’re going to find out. Because you know both Clown World and its pet politicians are going to be pulling out all the stops to prevent this referendum on immigration from passing:

The Swiss People’s Party submitted 114,600 signatures to the federal chancellery in Bern on Wednesday. It demands that a new article on “sustainable population development” be added to the constitution.

According to the initiative, the population of permanent residents must not exceed ten million people before 2050. The government should then set a limit based on the birth rate. If 9.5 million people live in the country before 2050, the Federal Council and Parliament would have to act.

For example, temporarily admitted persons would then no longer be able to obtain a permanent residence permit. Family reunification is also to be restricted. International agreements with exemption or protection clauses would have to be renegotiated. If all this is not enough, the Agreement on the Free Movement of Persons with the European Union would have to be cancelled.

According to a party statement today, the high level of support for this initiative, “shows that the population urgently demands sustainable and independently controlled immigration for Switzerland.”

This sort of measure is absolutely necessary, and indeed, long overdue, for every European nation as well as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the USA. It’s not only Clown World that can weaponize migration, after all; many have forgotten the global outcry that greeted China’s plan to settle 100 million Chinese in Africa. Already, in Namibia, Chinese immigrants account for more than 5 percent of the 2.8 million population there and have accounted for most of its post-2000 population growth; they could become the voting majority there in the blink of an eye if Beijing was ever inclined to wage unrestricted warfare against the Namibian people and thereby harvest its natural resources.

And the same, obviously, is true of the smaller European nations.

If You Thought it was Bad Now

Don’t worry. Those fine minds in government already know it’s going to get worse, even if they’re not prepared to admit it openly yet.

“The coming period of recession will … accelerate the decline in living standards that the younger generations have already witnessed compared to earlier generations,” reads the report, entitled Whole-of-Government Five-Year Trends for Canada. “For example, many Canadians under 35 are unlikely ever to be able to buy a place to live,” it adds.

The report, labelled secret, is intended as a piece of “special operational information” to be distributed only within the RCMP and among “decision-makers” in the federal government.

A heavily redacted version was made public as a result of an access to information request filed by Matt Malone, an assistant professor of law at British Columbia’s Thompson Rivers University, and an expert in government secrecy.

Describing itself in an introduction as a “scanning exercise,” the report is intended to highlight trends in both Canada and abroad “that could have a significant effect on the Canadian government and the RCMP.”

Right from the get-go, the report authors warn that whatever Canada’s current situation, it “will probably deteriorate further in the next five years.”

We always knew that the age of prosperity had to end sometime. And apparently, that time was 2008. Everything since then has merely been positioning and bracing for impact while running up the tab before the bar burns down.

This isn’t necessarily going to be a bad thing for some people, for in chaos there is always opportunity. But the degree of difficulty is increasing, and the old reliable rules for success no longer necessarily apply.

Diversity or Unrestricted War?

Of course, regardless of the intentionality, it all comes down to immigration and open borders. The Francis Scott Key Bridge was destroyed last night by a container ship from Singapore:

Rescue workers in Baltimore are working furiously in an attempt to save the lives of dozens of people who were plunged into the frigid waters of the Patapsco River when the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed after being hit by a container ship.

Initial reports indicate that at least a dozen cars hit the 47 degree water in addition to a 20 or so construction workers who were working on the bridge at the time.

There appeared to be an explosion on the container ship as it collided with the bridge sending containers, the concrete that was being poured on to the road and diesel flooding into the water.

The ship involved is the 948 foot long Dali, a Singaporean-flagged container ship which could be seen on ship-tracking websites positioned stationary under the bridge following the crash.

There are a number of factors involved here, from the aging of the US infrastructure, the effects of diversity and social spending on the maintenance of that infrastructure, and even the vaxx status of the ship’s crew. But the observable fact of the matter is that a single foreign-owned, foreign-crewed ship just accomplished what the very best efforts of NATO and the Ukrainian military combined have not been able to accomplish, which is the destruction of a major bridge.
