Mailvox: Intellectual Stimulation

I have a number of friends who struggle to find some kind of intellectual fulfillment outside of their work. They were raised loving school, pursuing growing their mind, etc., and are stuck in this lie that the only way to continue that stimulation and that growth is by having a job. Do you have any advice for those (women especially) who have this deep drive to keep learning, but want to be moms and are worried that their intellectual side won’t be stimulated in the home?

Yes. Read a fucking book. Then, once you’ve finished it, read another one. If you’re intellectually fulfilled by sitting in an office or a classroom, you’re literally retarded.

It’s probably not an accident that no one ever asked me to write an advice column.

On Returning to Twitter

I don’t see any reason to do so. SocialGalactic is my primary social media, and for public social media I have more followers on Gab than I did on Twitter – 34.5k vs 33k. I see Musk’s antics as just another exercise in gatekeeping, since Parler, Gettr, and TruthSocial have all abysmally failed.. As evidence, consider the way in which those who were never banned or censored are pushing the “come back in, the water’s safe now” narrative in the wake of Musk’s purchase.

The ticket-takers always support the gatekeepers. The charlatans back the frauds.

Caveat: I won’t criticize businesses that utilize every possible channel to reach their customers. Especially in this age of dysfunctional email, any means of communication should be utilized. Arkhaven and Castalia have had Twitter accounts all along, so we’ll probably make use of them again at some point.

Signs of a Winter Offensive

Col. Douglas Macgregor observes an ongoing buildup of Russian forces that suggests a winter offensive is planned.

The stupefying air of self-righteousness the Biden administration assumes when it attacks erstwhile strategic partners such as Saudi Arabia or delivers moralizing lectures to Beijing’s leadership, or when its media surrogates express contempt for the Russian state, is downright dangerous. Political figures in Washington are ready to indulge any transgression if it is committed in the name of destroying Russia. They do not view U.S. foreign policy in the context of a larger strategy, nor do they comprehend Russia’s capacity to hurt the United States, a bizarre judgment of Russia’s actual military and economic potential.

The ongoing buildup of 700,000 Russian forces with modern equipment in Western Russia, Eastern Ukraine and Belorussia is a direct consequence of Moscow’s decision to adopt an elastic, strategic defense of the territories it seized in the opening months of the war. It was a wise, though politically unpopular choice in Russia. Yet, the strategy has succeeded. Ukrainian losses have been catastrophic and by November, Russian Forces will be in a position to strike a knockout blow.

Today, there are rumors in the media that Kiev may be under pressure to launch more counterattacks against Russian defenses in Kherson (Southern Ukraine) before the midterm elections in November. At this point, expending what little remains of Ukraine’s life blood to expel Russian forces from Ukraine is hardly synonymous with the preservation of the Ukrainian state. It’s also doubtful that further sacrifices by Ukrainians will assist the Biden administration in the midterm elections.

The truth is Moscow’s redline concerning Ukrainian entry into NATO was always real. Eastern Ukraine and Crimea were always predominantly Russian in language, culture, history, and political orientation. Europe’s descent into economic oblivion this winter is also real, as is support for Russia’s cause in China and India and Moscow’s rising military strength.

Remember, the globalist media operates in terms of a) daily and b) weekly news cycles. As such, they are completely incapable of correctly analyzing events that take months to unfold. While its “Ukraine is Winning” Narrative is obviously false and openly mocked, the full extent to which it is untrue will not be understood until the winter offensive is well underway.

The Rehabilitation of Ben Shapiro

Now that it is too late for the millions of conservative vaxx victims who were vaccinated with the active encouragement of Ben Shapiro, the conservative media is attempting to position him as one of the good guys worthy of trust again.

Ben Shapiro has long been a strong advocate for the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, believing that taking them was a socially responsible measure that might save someone’s grandma and even slow or prevent the spread of the virus. On Tuesday, Shapiro stated that, like many others, he had been deceived about the efficacy of the vaccines, particularly with regard to their ability to prevent viral transmission.

On Tuesday’s episode of “The Ben Shapiro Show,” Shapiro stated, “It is now perfectly clear that we were lied to. And we were lied to at a very high level and from very, very early on by both the vaccine companies, in terms of the ability of the vaccine to prevent transmission, and … by our politicians who apparently knew better.”

Shapiro’s admission and sense of betrayal comes, in part, after Pfizer executive Janine Small stated on Oct. 10 that the company did not know if the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine it had developed with BioNTech would prevent viral transmission before the drug went on the market.

In addition to being enraged by Small’s admission, Shapiro took issue with the possibility that the Biden administration knew as much over a year ago, but had nevertheless stood by its original narrative. “It turns out the Biden White House knew this and promoted the lie anyway,” said Shapiro. “This is truly amazing stuff.”

On Aug. 2, 2021, he claimed, “Getting vaxxed essentially protects you from the virus. Remaining unvaxxed makes you vulnerable. Make your choice.”

On Sep. 2, 2021, he suggested that the “only people … [who are] worried, unfortunately, are people who are vaxxed and shouldn’t be worried; the unvaxxed are generally unworried, which is why they are unvaxxed.”

In February, he boasted, “Double-vaxxed. My wife is triple. My parents are triple.”

Knowing what he knows now, Shapiro, who is double-vaccinated, said he is not sure whether he would have taken the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine, but said, “maybe not.”

AC isn’t fooled by the attempted post-vaxx rehabilitation. Nor should anyone else be fooled.

So he is one of us again, and now we can follow him again, MAGA-Bros. Because he won’t be wrong about the next thing he will be wrong about. I love how none of these sites mention Vox Day, or this site, or any of the thousands of other people who were entirely right in telling people not to take the shot. Since they got the last thing right, and Shapiro got it entirely wrong, wouldn’t it make sense to not listen to Shapiro anymore, and listen, instead, to the people who got the last thing right?

Never, ever, pay any attention to The Manufactured Ones. Even when they belatedly say things that are true, they only do so in order to be able to mislead you again when their masters wish you to be led astray. No former vaxxine cheerleader who has turned against the vaxx should be trusted, for much the same reason that no converted liberal should be permitted to assume a position of leadership in a political or religious organization.

The Self-Immolation of Jordan Peterson

He really is the gift to humanity that keeps on giving. Did I not tell you he was quite literally crazy? Did I not observe that he was the product of multigenerational sexual abuse? And was the cover of Jordanetics not eerily prescient? Jordan Peterson’s inept excursion into poetry is simultaneously one of the funniest – and one of the saddest – things we will ever have the good fortune to witness in our lives.

Hello everyone! I’d like to tell you very briefly about my new book. It’s called An ABC of Childhood Tragedy. It’s illustrated and designed by Juliette Foger who’s the illustrator, who managed the illustrations for my last book, Beyond Order, published by Libra Press. It’s coming out mid-October, right now, it’s coming out just in a few days.

I wrote these poems, it’s 26 poems, one for each letter of the alphabet. I wrote these poems when I was doing a lot of clinical work and seeing the sorts of terrible things that happened within people’s families, and I suppose in some sense it was an attempt to blow off some steam. The book itself and the project is an attempt to investigate the Nexus, let’s say, of beauty and tragedy and humor, a strange triad, and maybe I’ll read you a couple of the alphabet poems so you get some sense of what you’re in for if you dare to buy the book. It’s pretty rough so be warned.

Well, so these are a bit Brothers Grimm-like I suppose. Pretty brutal, terribly comical, perhaps, if you have that sense of humor, very beautiful. Juliet did a wonderful job, we have some music coming out to accompany it. It’ll be quite a contentious project, to say the least, and so if you’re interested in such things, if you liked A Nightmare Before Christmas, if you like Edward Gorey and his Victorian Catastrophes in Poetic Form, then maybe you’ll like An ABC of Childhood Tragedy.

The Empire Flees China

You won’t be told what’s actually happening by the globalist media, and you definitely won’t be told why it is happening. But their coverage of events is usually sufficient to alert the informed observer as to what is actually going on.

As the FT writes, today, “thousands of wealthy people across China are headed for the exits as President Xi Jinping secures a third term, making him and the ruling Chinese Communist party even stronger than before.”

Recall that just hours after Xi not only was declared dictator for life but unceremoniously and in full view of the entire world had his centrist, globalist and pro-reform predecessor Hu Zintao escorted out of the building, guaranteeing that the rest of his rule will be a radical departure from heretofore accepted norms, and calling for the “great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation” based on revitalizing the CCP’s role as the economic, social, and cultural leader, Chinese stocks cratered to multi-decade lows and the yuan plunged to a record low as the growing realization of the horror that is coming swept across the land.

As a result, China’s wealthiest were met with market turmoil on Monday when Chinese stocks crashed the most since 2008. According to Bloomberg’s billionaire list, the 13 richest Chinese lost $12.7 billion in just one day after mounting fears about Xi’s consolidation of power. But of course, it wasn’t just them looking terrified at the glowing green color on their screens (as a reminder, in China stock colors are inverted as red means up and green means down): it was everyone.

In any case, as hundreds of millions of Chinese savers now scramble to move as much of their assets as far away off shore from the lunatic fringe in Beijing as possible, we have been flooded with reports that wealthy families across Hong Kong and China are at a “tipping point” about triggering so-called financial “fire escape plans” to avoid the wrath of Xi and CCP, according to David Lesperance, a Europe-based lawyer who works with elite Chinese businessmen and who spoke with Financial Times.

“Now that ‘the chairman’ is firmly in place . . . I have already received three ‘proceed’ instructions from various ultra-high net worth Chinese business families to execute their fire escape plans,” Lesperance said.

Ignore all the rhetoric and the neo-liberal economic assumptions and focus on what the various parties mentioned are doing. What’s actually taking place is that The Empire That Never Ended, which intended to transfer its global center of power from Washington DC to Beijing, has finally abandoned its attempts to do so.

Xi Xinping was seen as an impediment, not an implacable obstacle, but the confirmation of his continuing power in the CPC and his ongoing anti-corruption campaign means that the imperial plans for China have failed. Ukraine appears to be the backup plan, but that is failing too, thanks to the Russians and their stubborn refusal to submit to the imperial order.

Diversity Fails the Hellmouth

Hollywood is discovering that diversity is not a strength:

“For three years, we hired nothing but women and people of color,” said a senior film executive, who like many leaders in the industry is a white male. He added that he did not think some of them were able to do the jobs they got.

In hushed conversations over lunch at Toscana Brentwood and cocktails at the San Vicente Bungalows, some powerful producers and agents have started to question the commercial viability of inclusion-minded films and shows.

They point to terrible ticket sales for films like “Bros,” the first gay rom-com from a major studio, and “Easter Sunday” a comedy positioned as a watershed moment for Filipino representation. “Ms. Marvel,” a critically adored Disney+ series about a teenage Muslim superhero, was lightly viewed, according to Nielsen’s measurements.

They weren’t able to do their jobs for obvious reasons related to IQ, ideology, and solipsism. Now imagine how badly that same diversity is going to fail the US military when it finds itself going up against the non-diverse Russian and Chinese militaries in the next decade.

Anyhow, the Hellmouth’s struggles are our opportunity, as I expect to be able to demonstrate soon.
