/pol/ Celebrates Pillow Day

On this great day of days, when Boomer icon Jimmy Buffet is no longer wasting away in Margaritaville and has now joined his “lost shaker of salt”, /pol/ summarizes the wicked generation.

Boomers have done it all with clear conscience, they knew they were crippling their own progeny. The system died in 2001 – 20 years ago. Boomers knew and still know this but in their narcissistic hubris it’s a good thing, as the boomer gets to die on top, “the last of the real men”, John Wayne in their own imaginations. The “Me generation” believes castrating their own male children via Cronos-esque child consuming behaviors, was a stroke of brilliance as now their sons could never surpass them, as to boomers such a thing would be “emasculating”. The boomer destroyed their sons and grandsons, and at 65 will saunter into Hooters and disgustingly “flirt” with 19-year-old waitresses. Even in their geriatric years they view young men as sexual competition. These utterly depraved creatures make me sick.

Boomers couldn’t live up to their fathers, so they made sure their sons couldn’t live up to them. Every generation in history shits on the generation that came after them. But the boomers are the only generation that have been hated by two generations before them, and three generations after them.

I suspect it will be considerably more than three. It’s educational to note the change in the average size of funerals over the last 30 years. When my grandfather died, people flew from all over the world to attend his funeral and pay their respects. In my youth, it wasn’t uncommon to see an entire church filled with mourners. Now, Boomers die and it doesn’t even occur to their children or their grandchildren to show up to bury them. Just incinerate and forget, and no worries about the probate since the grasshopper generation leaves nothing behind but a wasteland of debt.

There is no point in Boomers attempting to gaslight the younger generations, particularly GenX. We were there. We saw everything. We know exactly what happened and we observed how everything changed. And the point of repeatedly slamming the Boomer generation is to prevent future generations from making their dyscivic mistakes.

We’re not telling our children to postpone marriage and to pursue college degrees. We’re not telling them that children are a burden. We’re encouraging them to learn from the Boomer failures, and to learn from our failures, and to live better, more fulfilling, more God-fearing lives than we did.

Jimmy Buffett is dead. May the wicked spirit of his generation die with him.

7 Percent per Annum

No, that’s not the prime rate or the mortgage rate. And it’s certainly not the interest on your bank account. It’s the statistically observed increased risk of death from one year to the next per vaccine dose:

The damage to health caused by each vaccine dose does not lessen over time. It continues indefinitely.

In fact, CDC All-Cause Mortality data show that each vaccine dose increased mortality by 7% in the year 2022 compared to the mortality in year 2021.

So if you have had 5 doses then you were 35% more likely to die in 2022 than you were in 2021. If you have had one dose then you were 7% more likely to die in 2022 than you were in 2021. If you are unvaxxed then you were no more likely to die in 2022 than you were in 2021.

One hopes that this percentage will drop in 2023. Unfortunately, the fact that half of all the vaxxed are still producing spike proteins tends to suggest that the excess mortality percentage will still be more than 3 percent per dose.

Ukraine in the Bunker

Despite the obvious and observable fact that a negotiated surrender is the best remaining option for the defeated Ukro-NATO alliance, any talk of surrender is strictly verboten.

German officials are eager for a negotiated solution and are talking about how Russia might be brought to the negotiating table, but are only doing so in private and with trusted think tank specialists, several of them said. But the officials also understand that they can’t push Ukraine in any way, because they don’t want Russia to smell weakness.

Still, there is a desire in Berlin as in Washington that the war not continue indefinitely, in part because political willingness for indefinite military and financial support for Ukraine is already beginning to wane, especially among those on the right and far right, who are gaining ground.

But for many others, the suggestion of a negotiated solution or a Plan B is too early and even immoral, said Constanze Stelzenmüller of the Brookings Institution. Mr. Putin has shown no interest in talking, but the younger generation of officials around him are, if anything, even harder-line, she said, citing a piece in Foreign Affairs by Tatiana Stanovaya.

“So anyone who wants to articulate a Plan B with these people on the other side is facing a significant burden of proof question,” she said. “Putin has said a lot of times he won’t negotiate except on his own terms, which are Ukraine’s obliteration. There is no lack of clarity there.”

Any credible Plan B would have to come from the key non-Western powers — like China, India, South Africa and Indonesia — that Russia is depending upon telling Moscow it must negotiate.

“These are the countries Putin is betting on,” she said. “It’s nothing we can say or do or offer.”

Eagerness from Paris or Berlin to negotiate too early will simply embolden Mr. Putin to manipulate that zeal, divide the West and seek concessions from Ukraine, said Ulrich Speck, a German analyst.

“Moving to diplomacy is both our strength and weakness,” he said. “We’re great at compromise and coalition, but that requires basic agreement on norms and goals. The shock of Ukraine is that this simply doesn’t exist on the other side.”

It’s always a shock to those who bluff when they deal with an opponent who is not bluffing. The Russians have made it very clear why they believe the USA to be “agreement-incapable”, which is based on the fact that the USA has reliably failed to honor its past agreements with Russia. I tend to doubt it even makes any sense for Russia to agree to a negotiated surrender, because all that will do is give NATO time to recuperate and rearm, just as it did after the Minsk agreements.

Since the neoclowns who are driving the war effort are so desperate to pivot to China, which unlike Russia is an existential threat to their influence, it’s probably in Russia’s strategic interests to refuse any negotiated surrender and hold to its objectives of freeing the nations of Europe from their subordination to US financial and military hegemony.

But Putin is fundamentally a moderate, so it wouldn’t be surprising if he would accept surrender in Ukraine in lieu of surrender in Europe, and leave the larger task to his more hardline successors.

I’m Not Saying He’s Fake

And I’m not saying he’s gay. I’m just saying it’s now well beyond obvious that the Red-Bearded Bard of Appalachia is as illegitimate and manufactured as Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson, Andrew Tate, Sam Harris and the rest of the so-called “Intellectual Dark Web”, and Joe Rogan.

Country star Oliver Anthony gave a surprise performance at Joe Rogan’s Texas comedy club after being called to stage to the extreme delight of the crowd.

Rogan invited Anthony to his club, The Comedy Mothership, located on East Sixth Street, on Tuesday night.

The popular podcaster had acquired the historic club as a standup comedy nightclub destination in 2022.

Audience members were unaware that Anthony was waiting in the wings. The songwriter became an instant sensation, when his song, ‘Rich Men North of Richmond,’ hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song was first released on YouTube less than two weeks ago, making Anthony the first artist ever to rise to the top without any prior charting history.

Rogan’s friend and fellow comedian, Tom Segura, teased Anthony’s performance by telling audience members that he ‘had a special treat for them.’ When the crowd discovered the musician was the ‘special treat’ they broke out in loud applause and cheers.

Rogan is also trying to help Anthony get out in front of his inevitable exposure as a manufactured creature.

Rogan: “Do you write all your own songs?”

OA: “Yeah…”

Rogan: “Have you been accused of not writing your own songs?”

OA: “Very early on, yeah”

I know Anthony’s “popularity” and “success” were manufactured, but I never seriously doubted he wrote his own songs until seeing Rogan ask these leading questions.

When the United States of America collapses amidst violence, disease, ethnic strife, and religious conflict, as it is likely to do before 2034, I hope that none of you will be so stubbornly and infernally ignorant as to look to the skies and cry out in despair “why did this happen?”

I can tell you right now why it happened. It happened because Americans, and conservative Americans in particularly, are literally too stupid and too naive to survive.

Someone asked on SG, “is there any hope at all for the survival of the USA”. No, there is not. There is no hope whatsoever for the survival of the USA as a unitary political entity of 50 states spanning the North American continent. None whatsoever. And the reason is that after more than 75 years of relentless subversion, demoralization, inversion, and invasion, a significant percentage of Americans still cheer for and support those who are being used to destroy their nation and their society.

At least we won’t be able to say we didn’t deserve our collective fate.

The Rude Awakening

Victoria Nuland and her fellow neoclowns were not prepared for Russia to defeat NATO, for the rise of BRICS, or for the second great wave of anticolonial revolutions in Africa:

When US Acting Deputy Secretary of State, Victoria Nuland, traveled to South Africa on July 29, her reputation as a blunt instrument of Washington’s hegemonic interests preceded her.

According to a veteran South African official who attended meetings with the senior US diplomat in Pretoria, however, Nuland and her team were demonstrably unprepared to grapple with recent developments on the African continent — particularly the military coup that removed Niger’s pro-Western government hours before she launched her multi-stop tour of the region.

“In over 20 years working with the Americans, I have never seen them so desperate,” the official told The Grayzone, speaking on the condition of anonymity.

Pretoria was well aware of Nuland’s hawkish reputation, but when she arrived in Pretoria, the official described her as “totally caught off guard” by winds of change engulfing the region. The July putsch that saw a popular military junta come to power in Niger followed military coups in Mali and Burkina Faso that were similarly inspired by mass anti-colonial sentiment.

And now Gabon has similarly overthrown its US-funded French colonial puppet government:

The United States has invested millions of dollars in foreign assistance to an African country whose military staged a successful coup against the sitting president on Wednesday. The U.S. has sent roughly $100 million in direct foreign assistance to Gabon, a country located in the Sahel region of Africa, since 2001, according to ForeignAssistance.gov. Additionally, Gabon has separately received approximately $42 million in direct foreign aid to improve and protect its national parks service.

A number of Gabon’s military forces arrested President Ali Bongo Ondimba in a successful coup that sought to overturn the results of a highly contentious election on Wednesday. Ondimba was arrested for “high betrayal of state institutions, massive embezzlement of public funds [and] international financial embezzlement,” according to the soldiers, who also declared on Wednesday that they would “dissolve all institutions of the republic.”

Imagine how these self-styled makers of reality are going to fare when they actually have to go up directly against China and Iran and their reliable weapons of debt money, corruption, and nepotism will avail them literally nothing.

Clown World, like Babylon, gwan fall.

Calling China’s Bluff

The problem with de facto recognizing Taiwan as a sovereign state is that China isn’t bluffing.

The US government has approved an $80 million arms transfer to Taiwan under a program normally reserved for sovereign nations – a move likely to anger Beijing, which considers the island part of its own territory.

The State Department informed relevant lawmakers of the upcoming weapons sale on Wednesday, according to the Associated Press and Reuters, which obtained a copy of the congressional notification.

The transfer “will be used to strengthen Taiwan’s self-defense capabilities through joint and combined defense capability and enhanced maritime domain awareness and maritime security capability,” the department said, without naming any particular systems.

Though prior deals with Taipei have been carried out under different export authorities, the latest transfer is slated to go through the Foreign Military Financing (FMF) program. Past FMF sales have largely been made to full-fledged nation states, with the sole exception of the African Union, and language used in the new notification could imply sovereignty for Taiwan, a stance China is unlikely to accept.

This is more of Clown World’s very clever wordgames that no one could possibly ever see through or object to. After all, the USA isn’t formally recognizing Taiwanese sovereignty, it’s merely treating Taiwan as if it is a sovereign state. That will totally fool everyone! And if Xi and the People’s Liberation Army choose to react to the de facto recognition in the place of the de jure recogition, well, joke’s on them!

When did retarded children take over US foreign policy?

A Celebration of Black Culture

That’s exactly what the Notting Hill Carnival is. It’s just that the reality of African culture happens to be a little different than innocent British people believe it to be:

Last weekend was supposed to be a joyous Bank Holiday celebration of Caribbean culture — all steel bands, carnival processions and sequined costumes for adults and children alike, a riot of noise and colour.

But, as happens every year, all the good news about Notting Hill Carnival paled into insignificance. What was originally intended to be a showpiece for West Indian traditions has turned into an annual horror show of violence and crime.

This year eight men were stabbed — with two of them remaining in intensive care with serious injuries.

More than 75 police officers were attacked, some punched and kicked, one was sexually assaulted. Six officers were bitten and others were urinated on from upstairs windows.

Thugs with machetes were filmed running through the streets amid a terrifying air of menace. More than 300 people were arrested for violence, sexual offences and possession of drugs and dangerous weapons. There was open drug-taking; and people using the front gardens of long-suffering residents as toilets.

How is this still a surprise to anyone, 50 years after American flight from the “plight” of the inner cities? Or anyone who has ever visited a city in Africa?

The dirt is not magic. It never was.

The Windrush will inevitably be seen more as historically devastating to Britain than the Norman invasion or the Great War. By 2045, there will be a place for London in this meme.
