A General’s Prediction

The divergence between Gen. Petraeus’s predictions for the Kiev counteroffensive and the apparent results does not bode well for NATO strategists.

Gen David Petraeus has said Ukraine’s counteroffensive is “very impressive” and can succeed, adding that the Ukrainians are “determined to liberate their country”.

On the counteroffensive, he said:

I think that this counteroffensive is going to be very impressive.

My sense is that they will achieve combined arms effects in other words, they will successfully carry out combined arms operations where you have engineers that are breaching the obstacles and diffusing the minefields and so forth; armour following right on through protected by infantry against anti-tank missiles; air defence keeping the Russians aircraft off them; electronic warfare jamming their radio networks; logistics right up behind them; artillery and mortars right out in front of them.

And most important of all … is that as the lead elements inevitably culminate after 72-96 hours, physically that’s about as far as you can go, and they’ll have taken losses … you have follow-on units that will push right on through and capitalise on the progress and maintain the momentum and I think that can get the entire Russian defence in that area moving, then I think you have other opportunities that will open up on the flanks as well.

It’s been a lot more than 72-96 hours. Not only are the NATO forces nowhere near Moscow, but they’ve essentially bounced off what has been described as “a wall of steel”, losing about one-third of their forces in the process.

Simplicius has turned out to be correct again. This is a “Schroedinger’s Offensive”, which is no longer an offensive, much less a “very impressive” one, but rather, a mere test, and mere recon in force. Never mind that the “in force” in this case amounted to a substantial percentage of the total available equipment.

No wonder the neoclowns are suddenly babbling about diplomacy and the need for negotiations.

A Purge, Long Overdue

They have a long way to go, but the Southern Baptists have finally begun to take their professed faith seriously and clean their house.

The letter in October came as a shock to Linda Barnes Popham, who had been the pastor of Fern Creek Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky., for 30 years, the first woman to lead her congregation. She had served in ministry even longer, since she started as a pianist at age 16.

But now, she read in the letter, officials of the Southern Baptist Convention had received a complaint about her church being led by a woman. The denomination was investigating, it said.

She replied at length, listing her qualifications and her church’s interpretation of the Bible that affirmed her eligibility to lead. Church deacons, including men, rallied to her defense.

Convention officials decided to expel her church anyway, along with four other congregations that have female pastors, including one of the most prominent in the country, Saddleback Church, based in Southern California.

“I never believed this would happen,” Ms. Barnes Popham said of the move to expel her church, as she prepared to appeal the expulsion on Tuesday afternoon before thousands of delegates at the annual S.B.C. convention in New Orleans. “Why would you want to silence the voices of the faithful churches? Why?”

However the delegates vote on her appeal, the larger message is clear: There is a movement in the Southern Baptist Convention, a denomination that is often a bellwether for evangelical America, to purge women from its leadership.

The right wing of the Southern Baptists, the largest Protestant denomination in America, is now — like conservatives more broadly — cracking down on what it sees as dangerous liberal drift.

UPDATE: Members of the Southern Baptist Convention upheld the decision of the Executive Committee to boot Fern Creek Baptist Church from the organization, on a 9,700-806 vote.

It’s about time. The answer to the woman’s question is very straightforward. “Why would you want to silence the voices of the faithful churches?” Because no Christian church led by a woman is faithful. Those voices are satanic.

If women want to start their own equalitarian Goddess-centered pagan religion, they currently have the right to do so in most countries throughout the West. What they don’t have the right to do, what they will never have the right to do no matter what the law asserts, is to elevate their own sensibilities above the Bible or violate the tenets of the Christian faith and still call themselves “Christian”.

These false female pastors should be grateful. If events proceed the way history suggests they will, within 50 years they won’t just be expelled, they’ll be burned at the stake.

Disney Adopts Zero History

Once a premier curator of American history, the skinsuit of the company founded by Walt Disney has opted for historical oblivion and the destruction of its own artifacts:

Walt had a vision of himself as one of the Big Americans, that his name would be remembered with men like Ford and Edison. Whether he genuinely felt an accurate record of his life and work would reflect well on him or he knew he was going to be in the history books anyway so he would be well served by writing the history book himself, he is one of the very few businessmen to start a museum dedicated to curating his life, his work and the company he built up from nothing.

So was born the Walt Disney Company Archive. Or simply The Archive. Just about every major or even minor thing the Walt Disney Company ever was a part of was dutifully curated. Decommissioned park attractions that were being dismantled would have disused animatronics packed away and sent to the archive. Every single addition and more importantly subtraction to the parks was carefully noted at the Archive. Artwork from all of the Disney animated features were meticulously cataloged and preserved at the Archive.

The Archive also operates public museums where you can gawk at such diverse things as Disneyland opening day curios, doodads, and tourist gimcrack. Want to see the real Pirates Redhead? She now lives at the archive. Original scripts, props from the Davey Crockett show. Various denizens of Tomorrowland’s obsolete future past are on display at The Archive.

You know what you won’t find at the Archive? Not one fucking thing connected with Splash Mountain. The most popular ride in the history of Disney parks and not one trace of it was curated.

The preservation of historical knowledge is one of the most sacred and important things that can be accomplished even by the irreligious. So it should come as no surprise that eradicating history is always among the foremost objectives of the Zero Historians in their permanent campaign against all that is Good, Beautiful, and True.

Not The Bee picks up on the coming BLACK WARRANT from The Legend, who most certainly is based. Although, to be precise, he did not create the Punisher, he was merely the lead writer on the comic for a while.

Marvel is a woke company now. They have to celebrate lawlessness in the name of equity, and people being inspired by a vigilante fighting the criminals that corrupt judges and officials turn back out onto the streets was unacceptable.

First they tried to discredit the Punisher by making him a villain. They added devil horns to his logo and made him the leader of a clan of assassins called The Hand (the same clan of assassins he has battled for years in the comics and on the small screen).

But that wasn’t enough.

Frank Castle and all that he represented had to be destroyed.

In an interview, Chuck Dixon, the creator of the Punisher, was asked this question:

If it’s true that Marvel really did change the Punisher symbol because they don’t like the kind of people who like it (ie police and military), then it begs the question, why do the people at Marvel hate their fans so much? Why would anyone at Marvel hire people that hate the fans? Hating and trying to annoy the fans of your characters seems like a terrible business strategy

Dixon gives a lengthy response in the following video, but it can be summed in this part of the response:

They certainly don’t seek the kind of readers who would like the Punisher now. In addition to their contempt for the Punisher, I think this current crop of editors has a deep-seated dislike of the police and the military as well. So, it’s the old gang of deplorables thing.

Yes, that’s right. The creator of the Punisher is based.

And if you’re interested, Dixon is currently publishing stories over at Arkhaven Comics, including a new vigilante series called “Black Warrant,” which given his comments about the Punisher promises much less wokeness than anything Marvel is pumping out.

Should talk to the media. The Cavinder Twins discover that the media lies before it even puts its lies into print.

“The interview for this article was obtained by a false pretense that it would be written about our life after NIL, why we didn’t take our fifth year, our passions, and business opportunities,” she wrote. “We were specifically told via the publication the context would be to ‘see the Cavinders as a very important story not only in the context of women’s college sports but the new media culture and business. They’re building a hugely successful brand, and they’re at the forefront of a new space, and we think that’s exciting and newsworthy.’

“We discussed with our team and met the media opportunity openly after reviewing the intentions. Haley and I welcomed this man into our home. He followed us throughout the entire weekend asking us questions and understanding what goes on in our daily lives. After the weekend, we had a sit down interview in our kitchen for over an hour and was only asked one question regarding our ‘physical looks.’

“The subsequent article not only demeaned our athletic and business accomplishments, it furthered the narrative that hard working, creative and driven women can only do well if they are deemed attractive. The piece disregards our work ethic and dedication toward NIL and business endeavors. He fails to acknowledge the young girls/woman [sic] that follow us and that we work so hard to inspire. Instead, he degrades us down to ‘hot girl(s).’ We agreed to do the interview and wanted to support a woman ran news outlet. We are both disappointed and disgusted by this journalism practice and blatant sexist trope. We only wish to inspire young woman [sic] to chase their dreams, work hard, think big. Now we must also defend them against men that wish to sum their potential to physical appearance.”

False Flag in France

To absolutely no one’s surprise, the “Syrian Christian” who stabbed children in France was actually a Muslim refugee.

The news was shocking beyond measure: a man went on a stabbing spree at a playground in the French city of Annecy last Thursday, stabbing four three-year-olds and an adult. The attacker shouted “In the name of Jesus Christ” as he did his stabbing and claimed to be a Christian. He even had a made-to-order Christian name: Abdelmasih Hanoun; “Abdelmasih” means “Slave of Christ.”

It was suspicious and contrived, but it did seem to confirm the Leftist elites’ claim that the largest terror threat comes from right-wing Christians. There was just one catch: some people have recognized Abdelmasih Hanoun and say that he is actually a Muslim. I know, knock me over with a feather, right?

The French-language news site Resistance Républicaine reported Monday that “Syrians living in France and Germany” have recognized the attacker as a “madman of Allah,” and that the identification has been confirmed by others as well. The attacker, according to those who have recognized him, is actually a Muslim named Selwan Majd, “a refugee from Al-Hasakah in northern Syria.”

Remember, the Visigoths in Rome and the Hebrews in Egypt were refugees too. How did that work out for their hosts?

Sink the ships or sacrifice your children. That is the choice facing Europeans today.

Africa in the UK

Remember when the Sheriff of Nottinham was the portrait of an English bad guy? Three people are murdered in Nottingham and three more are injured by an African for no reason that any European would understand.

A West African migrant accused of the murders of three people in Nottingham yesterday is said to be refusing to answer questions from police – as he was described as having a history of petty drug dealing and mental health problems.

The 31-year-old, who is believed to have arrived in the country as a teenager and is not thought to be a refugee, is being questioned over the deaths of two students and a man in his 50s – as well as the injuring of three others.

He was known to police but does not have a criminal record, according to sources. The man, who has settled status, is believed to have lived in the UK for over a decade and was described by neighbours as a ‘very quiet guy’, the Telegraph reported.

The dirt doesn’t define the people. The people define the dirt. If the migration patterns are not reversed, countries like England and France won’t merely be seeing pointless and inexplicable murders, they’ll be seeing cannibalism and mutu as well. Because nations are people, and people never change on the basis of geographic relocation.

This really isn’t that hard. All the mythic civnattery notwithstanding, neither the Spanish nor the English magically transformed into American Indians upon their geographic relocation to America. Africans don’t magically become Europeans upon geographic relocation to England, France, or Germany either.

Urban Death Spiral

Retail continues to flee the liberal utopia of San Francisco:

Downtown San Francisco has been dealt another blow after Westfield and its partner Brookfield Properties made the “difficult decision” to stop payment on a $558 million loan for the metro area’s largest shopping mall after “challenging operating conditions,” the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

“For more than 20 years, Westfield has proudly and successfully operated San Francisco Centre, investing significantly over that time in the vitality of the property. Given the challenging operating conditions in downtown San Francisco, which have led to declines in sales, occupancy and foot traffic, we have made the difficult decision to begin the process to transfer management of the shopping center to our lender to allow them to appoint a receiver to operate the property going forward,” Westfield said.

This comes after Nordstrom, which occupies 312,000 square feet in the mall, isn’t renewing its lease in August after nearly four decades of operations. When Nordstrom closes, the mall will only be 55% leased, well below the average 93% of other Westfield malls across the US.

Bloomberg obtained a letter to employees from Jamie Nordstrom, the retailer’s chief stores officer, who said the closing of Nordstrom is due to a slump in sales because of lower foot traffic, adding “dynamics of the downtown San Francisco market have changed dramatically over the past several years.” We suspect Nordstrom is referring to the out-of-control crime…

Westfield recently blamed “unsafe conditions” and “lack of enforcement against rampant criminal activity” in the downtown area for Nordstrom’s departure. It also said the mall’s poor performance and crime-ridden surrounding area is an anomaly versus its other properties nationwide.

Westfield and Nordstrom’s exodus comes one week after Park Hotels & Resorts Inc. ceased making payments on a $725 million CMBS loan secured by two of its San Francisco hotels.

That which can’t continue, won’t continue. A city can only survive so much ideological nonsense and demographic diversity before it collapses. The same is true of a country.
