Wait, can THEY do that?

It never ceases to amaze me how the Left invariably whines and cries whenever it is subjected to the same treatment it metes out to the Right:

Conservative news outlets, including one with links to a top White House official, are singling out individual career government employees for criticism, suggesting in articles that certain staffers will not be sufficiently loyal to President Donald Trump by virtue of their work under former President Barack Obama.

The articles — which have appeared in Breitbart News, the Conservative Review and other outlets — have alarmed veteran officials in both parties as well as current executive branch staffers. They say the stories are adding to tensions between career staffers and political appointees as they begin to implement Trump’s agenda, and they worry that the stories could inspire Trump to try purging federal agencies of perceived enemies.

The claims posted on the conservative sites include allegations of anti-Israel and pro-Iran bias against staffers at institutions such as the State Department and the National Security Council. Breitbart News, whose former executive chairman Steve Bannon is now Trump’s chief strategist, has even published lists of workers that the president should fire.

Washington veterans say they can’t recall similar targeting of government employees, who are required to stay apolitical and generally shun the spotlight.

“It’s deeply unfair to single people out and question their loyalty,” said William Burns, president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and a former longtime diplomat. “It’s demoralizing for institutions. It’s demoralizing for professionals, and it’s offensive.”

One hopes that the stories will inspire and encourage the God-Emperor to purge all the federal agencies of every traitor, mole, and heretic. In more than a few cases, he shouldn’t just fire most of those disloyal workers, he should order their arrests.

If they are enemies of the American people, actively seeking to undermine the duly-elected President of the United States, the God-Emperor not only has the right to order their arrest, he has the sworn responsibility to do so.

Feckless surrender talk

It’s always infuriating how politicians posture and pontificate after a terror attack as if doing absolutely nothing and blathering about nonexistent unity somehow constitutes brave leadership:

The location of this attack was no accident. The terrorist chose to strike at the heart of our capital city where people of all nationalities, religions and cultures come together to celebrate the values of liberty, democracy and freedom of speech.

These streets of Westminster, home to the world’s oldest parliament are ingrained with a spirit of freedom that echoes in some of the furthest corners of the globe. And the values our Parliament represents – democracy, freedom, human rights, the rule of law, command the admiration and respect of free people everywhere.

That is why it is a target for those who reject those values. Let me make it clear today, as I have had cause to do before, any attempt to defeat our values through violence and terror is doomed to failure.’

We will come together as normal and Londoners and others from around the world who have come here to visit this great city will get up and go about their day as normal.

We will all move forward together, never giving in to terror and never allowing the voices of hate and evil to drive us apart.

The people of England – the actual English people of England – need to tell that woman: “there  is no forward and there is no us.”

There is only one civilized solution and it is a straightforward, five-word solution: they have to go back.

It’s not the only solution, of course. But no one who is sane or civilized wants to have to resort to the other solution, although history makes it perfectly clear that they will certainly do so if it proves to be necessary.

Katie Hopkins’s response, although defeatist, is considerably more sane:

This place is just like Sweden. Terrified of admitting the truth about the threat we face, about the horrors committed by the migrants we failed to deter — because to admit that we are sinking, and fast, would be to admit that everything the liberals believe is wrong.

That multiculturalism has not worked. That it is one big fat failure and one big fat lie.

President Erdogan of Turkey said there is a war being waged between the crescent and the cross. But he is wrong. Because the cross is not strong. We are down on bended knee, a doormat to be trodden on, a joke only funny to those that wish us harm.

The war is between London and the rest of the country. Between the liberals and the right-minded. Between those who think it is more important to tip-toe around the cultures of those who choose to join us, rather than defend our own culture.

How many more times?

And how many more attacks must pass before we acknowledge these are no longer the acts of ‘extremists’? That there is no safe badge with which to hold these people at arm’s length, in the way the liberals casually use the term ‘far-right’ for anyone who has National pride.

These events are no longer extreme. They are commonplace. Every day occurrences.

These people are no longer extremists. They are simply more devout. More true to their beliefs. Beliefs which will be supported endlessly across our state broadcaster for the next few months until we buy into the narrative that one religion is not to blame.

Imagine if the British had fought WWII this way. The Swastika would still be flying over Westminster. You don’t win a war by not fighting it. You don’t save your nation by welcoming refugees, migrants, and invaders. You don’t survive by electing immigrants as your leaders.

Reconquista 2.0 or Sharia. That is the choice facing the West.

We. Are. Amused.

Meanwhile, The Collapsing Empire on Kindle is falling while Corrosion: The Corroding Empire is climbing. 194 to 918 830 748 683 666. Make it happen. You know you want to see it happen. It’s also telling that most of the 5-star reviews for Collapsing and all of the 1-star reviews for Corrosion are from people who haven’t even pretended to read the book “reviewed”. This is a good sign, as this kind of engagement is a certain sign that SF-SJWs have been successfully triggered.

Here is the thing: the more people that actually read Corrosion, the higher the good/bad review ratio will increase. The reverse is true for The Collapsing Empire. It’s terrible and word from inside Tor Books is that everyone involved with the book knew it even before it was released.

Meanwhile, Allan Davis proposes a solution to solve the terrible problem of racism and discrimination and excessive white maleness in science fiction:

I propose a tax on science fiction novels, to level the playing field in the same fashion that carbon taxes are designed to punish those who use more resources than their fair share.

Call it the “Bergeron Tax.”

Those authors writing for any mainstream international science fiction publishers have obviously been profiting from this industry-wide discrimination, so the structure of the Bergeron Tax should be arranged like this:

For each novel the author has previously published (with one of the big mainstream publishers), add 10% to the cost of the book.

Add on 5% for each Hugo or Nebula award the author has already won.

If the author is white, add an additional 10%.

If the author is male, add another 10%.

Finally, if the author has a beard, add on an additional 5%.

The windfall proceeds from this tax should then be shared among authors and publishers who have not been part of this industry-wide and genre-wide discrimination.

I don’t know. If you look at Tor’s prices, it looks like they’re already implementing this tax. $13 for a 300-page Kindle book would be a ripoff even if book was any good.

Like clockwork…. SJWs are nothing if not predictable.

Meanwhile, in a classic SJW Narrative spiral, iO9 has picked up the fake news from File 770. This is a beautiful example of how the SJW Narrative spiral works to create fake history in line with the Narrative:

  1. File 770 publishes fake news
  2. SJWs run with the fake news and offer various false theories and rumors
  3. Larger SJW-converged media sites pick up the fake news and spread it
  4. Wikipedia cites these “reliable sources” and enshrines the fake news as false facts.

We’re already at point 3, obviously. Note that both iO9 and File 770 have conveniently omitted to mention the fact that John Scalzi was proudly involved with Alexandra Erin’s parody of my #1 Political Philosophy bestseller, SJWs Always Lie, two years ago. Scalzi narrated the audiobook. SJWs are always so mystified that people don’t respond better to them crying “no fair, he hit me back!”

Trump team under surveillance

House Intelligence Chairman admits domestic spying:

Members of the Donald Trump transition team, possibly including Trump himself, were under U.S. government surveillance following November’s presidential election, House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) told reporters Wednesday.

Nunes said the monitoring appeared to be done legally as a result of what’s called “incidental collection,” but said he was concerned because it was not related to the FBI’s investigation into Russia’s meddling in the election and was widely disseminated across the intelligence community.

“I have seen intelligence reports that clearly show that the president-elect and his team were, I guess, at least monitored,” Nunes told reporters. “It looks to me like it was all legally collected, but it was essentially a lot of information on the president-elect and his transition team and what they were doing.”

Nunes said he is heading to the White House later Wednesday to brief Trump on what he has learned, which he said came from “sources who thought that we should know it.” He said he was trying to get more information by Friday from the FBI, CIA and NSA.

It’s just a matter of time before the three-letter agencies crack and admit that the God-Emperor was right all along. Now, where are those FISA warrants?

Attack outside Parliament

A car-and-knife attack at Westminster:

Parliament in lockdown: Police open fire outside Westminster and shoot knife-wielding man amid reports of explosion and ‘at least 12 pedestrians mowed down on bridge’

Four-wheel drive car said to have driven over Westminster Bridge knocking down pedestrians this afternoon. ‘Asian’ knifeman then got into the grounds of Parliament where he reportedly stabbed a police officer. The ‘middle-aged’ attacker was then shot by armed officers as the area was cleared by emergency services. Parliament was suspended and the Prime Minister was rushed from the scene in an unmarked police car.

Remember, diversity is their strength! This sort of thing only makes British society stronger and better and nicer.

Back with a vengeance

As we suspected, there appear to have been internal shenanigans taking place at Amazon, as one or more SJWs appear to have abused their positions to interfere with our ability to sell THE CORRODING EMPIRE.

We’re still working with Amazon to sort out exactly who was responsible for precisely what, and to establish what, if anything, legitimately needed to be changed according to their guidelines. This should all be nailed down by the end of the day, but in the meantime, you can now order the book and post reviews again.

Thank you for your support and for holding fire while we sorted out who was, and who was not, responsible for the removal of THE CORRODING EMPIRE. The very helpful KDP representative to whom I spoke said that he did not believe there was anything improper or misleading about the title, the name, or the cover, but we’re going to wait to get explicit permission on all three elements before settling on a final edition that will see print.

Mr. Amazon SJW just blocked it again. Unsigned, of course. SJWs always double down.

It’s not just the three blocks, the culprit(s) also put the book on the Excluded list for Amazon Associates, which prevents others from being paid when someone buys the book.

They’re building a wall

A report from the inside the belly of the beast indicates the God-Emperor is gradually forcing the rebellious creature to do his will.

At this morning’s staff meeting, certain persons had a very sour look on their faces, so I knew the news would be good.

— CBP has announced that some 100 feet of a series of “test wall sections” will be built quickly, among the competitors already chosen.

— One of these walls will be in the high-profile, high-traffic San Diego section.

— CBP will then choose from the “test wall sections” as to which one it likes and proceed from there, negotiating on cost, etc., with bidders.

— The contracting timeframe has been moved to as quick as possible under current law, and is as short as three weeks for this stage.

The Wall is being built.  It’s going to be solely on Fed property, so no states can stick their noses in it.

But they’re certainly going to try.

Three California Democrats have a warning for contractors who sign up for President Donald Trump’s border-wall construction project between the U.S. and Mexico: Build it, and we will divest from your company.

In the latest act of resistance against the Trump administration, the state lawmakers have introduced a bill that would force the state to drop its pension investments in any companies involved in the project.

“This is a wall of shame and we don’t want any part of it,” Assemblyman Phil Ting, D-San Francisco, said in a statement. “Immigrant stories are the history of America and this is a nightmare.”

It’s not a surprise Mr. Ting knows nothing about the history of America? He’s not American.
