THE WISE OF HEART

The Damage is Ubiquitous

Based on the available evidence, it would be an exaggeration to say that everyone who got vaxxed now has heart damage. But unfortunately, it wouldn’t be as much of an exaggeration as we would like to see.

I don’t think you can overstate how bad this is, so I’ll just put a couple of snippets here and you can follow the link for the whole deal; Steve certainly deserves to get both the credit and reads for it:

In a study (not yet published) of 177 people in Puerto Rico (97% of whom were vaccinated), cardiac injury was objectively measured in 70% of the people measured (ages 8 to 84).

Oh, that’s not good. Want worse? Here’s a highly medically supervised group of people, which makes this sort of news much worse:

In the US military, they did a thorough investigation of a large number of soldiers and found markers of cardiac injury in 68% of our soldiers. This was kept under wraps, but I am friends with the doctor who did the study.

That is nasty because the correlation in injury rate is very high. If there was no common denominator or, in the alternative, one or both of the studies was trash, with two studies where each was performed by different and unrelated researchers you’d expect materially-different outcomes but that’s not what you got in two distinct sets of people who had reasonably-similar jab rates.

This naturally raises the question of what the base rate of cardiac injury in the population is. The only number that I’ve seen that appears to be potentially relevant is 36 percent. But as bad as literally doubling the cardiac injury rate is, it will be even worse if subsequent studies start showing rates in excess of 70 percent, as that would indicate that the mRNA worm is continuing to do more damage over time.

From the comments is some fascinating anecdotal evidence about some of the less problematic aspects of vaxx damage:

I’m a mid-50’s unjabbed cyclist and that my jabbed riding buddies all got slower this past season. Group cycling is a competitive endeavor where being first to the top of a hill climb is taken seriously. A hill around here is an all-out effort (zone 4-5) for ten to thirty minutes. Those I ride with are Ironmen, ultra runners, and ex/current road racers.

Previously I was an average rider for my age, finishing in the middle of the pack. This past season the only ones to beat me the top were at least twenty-five years younger. And they didn’t beat me by much. Those close to my age were out of sight behind me. This is unprecedented. I have a power meter on my bike. The data shows that I’m no faster than I was previously.

It’s anecdotal evidence but supports the heart damage theory.

China Warns Japan

At some point, Japan is going to have to choose between playing second fiddle to China in Asia and being forced to fight a proxy war on behalf of Clown World.

Japan is increasingly trying to justify its ongoing militarization under the pretext of the so-called external threats. Looking around the region, it is Japan that is pushing the regional situation closer to the edge of danger, following the US strategy closely. Tokyo’s move deserves much vigilance. If it continues to act as a pawn of the US in the Asia-Pacific region to stir up trouble here, Japan must be wary of becoming a victim itself of the US or even the Ukraine of East Asia.

Concluding his recent G7 trip in Washington, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said Saturday that he shared with the leaders of the bloc his “strong sense of crisis regarding the security environment in East Asia.” “Ukraine may be the East Asia of tomorrow,” the Japanese leader noted, adding that the security of Europe and the Indo-Pacific are “inseparable.”

This is not the first time Kishida has made such a “warning.” In fact, since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, “East Asia is the Ukraine of tomorrow” has become one of his favorite phrases. For instance, he repeated the exact same view in his keynote speech at the 19th Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore in June and later that month at the NATO summit.

The message Kishida wants to convey is clear: It calls for more attention to the region and Japan’s so-called security concerns from the US and its NATO allies, which have been focusing on countering Russia in Europe since the war broke out. In particular, Kishida’s words are aimed at China. He is trying to convince other Western countries that China is the next “biggest challenge” that must be jointly dealt with by the West…

“If Japan truly hopes to see a peaceful and stable East Asia, it should seriously reflect upon its history of militarist aggression, draw lessons from it, instead of going about stirring up trouble and fanning the flame,” then Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said in July.

Japan should also reflect on how tightly it wants to be tied to the US strategy. As for now, it’s clear that no matter who is in power in Japan, the country’s foreign policy follows that of the US. But does that really benefit Tokyo? If it continues to act as a pawn of the US in the Asia-Pacific region, Japan must be wary of becoming a victim of the US or even the Ukraine of East Asia.

Japan risks turning itself into ‘Ukraine of Asia’ if it follows US’ strategic line, Global Times, 15 January 2023

I anticipate Japan eventually breaking with the USA rather than going to war with China. The failures of the US military, from Korea to Afghanistan, have not escaped the notice of the Japanese elite, and being an occupied country like Germany, the Japanese have neither a great affection for the USA or any love for Clown World. They will go along with the US program as long as they must, which is to say, until China makes them a carrot-and-stick offer that makes breaking with the USA, with all the chaos and unpleasantries that will follow, the lesser of two evils.

What we’re seeing right now is the diplomatic stick. But I have no doubt whatsoever that China is also offering a politico-economic carrot to Japan behind closed doors, since helping Japan break free of Clown World is almost as important to China as evicting Clown World from Ukraine is to Russia.

He’s Going to Win That Bet

Steve Kirsch challenges Jonathan Bing concerning the percentage of vaxxed who have damaged hearts:

On a Twitter space just now, I claimed that 20% (or more) of people develop objectively measurable cardiac injury within 4 months of the shot. Jonathan Bing (@jonbingnj) called me a misinformation spreader (which of course I took as a compliment). I then challenged Jonathan, in front of a live audience, to put his money where his mouth is. To my delight (and utter amazement), he accepted.

I’ll propose terms similar to the Saar Wilf term sheet, but since it’s only $50K, we can relax some of the terms, e.g., 3 mutually agreeable judges and you need to get all three judges to win, otherwise it’s a draw. And we can skip the escrow. I trust Jonathan will pay when I win.

He’s playing it safe with that 20 percent. He could probably go as high as 50 percent and be confident of winning the bet.

Sam Harris Has Lost His Mind

Sam Harris, one of the Four Horsemen of the New Atheism, was always an incredibly sloppy thinker. But he used to be coherent in his wrongness; his erroneous syllogisms were logically correct, they were simply based on false foundations. Now, however, his faith in science has not only become illogical, but has rendered him ridiculous.

This was his response to an interview addressing the fact that his fellow “Intellectual Dark Web” member was correct to trust Ivermectin rather than the vaxx in response to Covid.

I mean, so, let’s say let’s say five years from now we learned that Ivermectin is actually perfect, right? Just for whatever reason the studies we had back in 2020 and 2021 were poorly run but we did this perfect study and you know Ivermectin is perfect and what’s more the vaccines, they’re way more dangerous than anyone thought, and you know you don’t want any of that mRNA stuff in you, right?

So, Brett Weinstein turns out he was right about everything, right? Will he be Vindicated?

Not really, because at the time his reasons for thinking what he was thinking at the time were insufficient, right? His conviction at the time was bizarre, I mean he literally called the vaccine ‘the crime of the century,’ right? And predicted that millions of people are going to die from it, right? If millions of people do die from it, it’s still true that at the time he said that, it was a deranged and deranging claim, right? And it just made absolutely no sense.

Setting aside the fact that we’re now seeing a retroactive attempt by the media to establish a fence-straddling intellectual nonentity like Not-Harvey Weinstein as the leading anti-vaxx critic because nearly every other ticket-taking public intellectual is vaxxed, this demonstrates that Sam Harris is both a) functionally retarded and b) has paid absolutely no attention to either the financial corruption of scientistry or the reproducibility crisis in scientody of the last decade. Even his biggest fans are now calling him out for his absurdities.

  • Sam has absolutely lost the plot. Excruciating to listen to him. I’m embarrassed to say I used to listen to every single one of his podcasts before he fell off the deep end. He’s just a run of the mill statist at this point. Anything to justify the establishments actions.
  • Sam Harris DESPERATELY wishing away his cognitive dissonance
  • He just can’t accept that Bret was right, and he was dangerously wrong.
  • I used to listen to Harris quite a bit, however you’ve really got to ask WTF happened to him? Trump & Covid etc has absolutely broken him.
  • The guy has a huge ego that prevents him from seeing how wrong he was. Now he’s using a hypothetical to justify his wrong position.
  • I used to listen to Sam Harris. Unfortunately it seems as though he has completely lost the plot.
  • If reality was like Sam thought he would have been right but it wasn’t which makes him right anyway, according to Sam.

Cerno’s take is pretty funny, as is that of one of his follower’s.

  • Sam Harris does finally admit that the vaccine doesn’t stop the transmission of Covid-19. I misheard the video earlier. My goodness. This video is a long way of avoiding saying, “I was totally wrong and I apologize for my hysteria.” What a pretzel.
  • That’s the face of an “intellectual” who just realized he lost THE debate of his lifetime… of someone who just realized they’d been lying to themselves more than anyone else…

Since I pay zero attention to ticket-takers and their well-compensated blatherings while being aware of their propensity for inversion, it occurred to me that it was entirely possible Not-Harvey Weinstein had been naive enough to get himself vaxxed prior to jumping in front of the anti-vaxx parade. See: Robert Malone, Steve Kirsch, et al. However, it appears that he may actually be a genuine Pureblood based on this article from May 2022.

Ivermectin, the Parasite Drug Touted by Portland Podcaster Bret Weinstein, Is Shown to Be Worthless for Treating COVID-19

A big, comprehensive study flies in the face of Weinstein’s claims.

“The evidence is surprisingly compelling, indicating Ivermectin dramatically improves outcomes in COVID patients, and is very effective preventing infection,” Weinstein tweeted on May 29, 2021.

Lately, though, science has caught up to them.

The latest, best studies show that ivermectin does little to prevent or treat COVID. A bombshell arrived this week, when the New England Journal of Medicine, the ne plus ultra of medical research, published a study showing that ivermectin did nothing to treat COVID infections or keep them from worsening to the point of hospitalization.

“Treatment with ivermectin did not result in a lower incidence of medical admission to a hospital,” the researchers wrote. “There were no significant effects of ivermectin use on secondary outcomes or adverse events.” The secondary outcomes included death.

In short, ivermectin did nothing to cure COVID-19. Unlike the previous studies that got people like Weinstein and Heying fired up about the drug, this one was double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, and large, with 3,515 patients.

Anthony Effinger, Williamette Week, March 30, 2022

There is an important veriphysical lesson here about metareasoning and science. This is where we see the vital importance of questioning one’s base axioms and assumptions when a syllogism produces an observably false conclusion. The primary assumption in this case is that scientody is reliable, and the secondary assumption is that scientistry is incorruptible. Therefore, the major premise is that the conclusions of a large, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled and peer-reviewed study are correctly indicative of reality.

But this is a false premise. We know for a fact that 60 percent – yes, the MAJORITY, which is to say MOST – of the gold-standard scientific studies published cannot be reproduced. An even higher percentage of non-landmark published studies fail the reproducibility test. This does not mean that most of the hypotheses concerned are necessarily falsified, but it does mean that no scientific study should ever be confused with reliable evidence, let alone conclusive proof. In fact, a strong statistical correlation is presently a better and more reliable indication of causation than so-called “scientific proof” of it.

Forget feelings. Facts don’t care about your ex post facto rationalizations.

The Fauci Flop

Karl Denninger concludes it’s time to take a victory lap. And there is no doubt about it, he was absolutely right about the pernicious nature of the vaxx. In a just world, he’d receive a Presidential Medal of Freedom for the tens of thousands of lives he saved by his diligent and persistent efforts.

We won, they lost.

The outcome was in doubt for quite some time. But now, its not.

Rasmussen ran a poll not long ago and found a very large percentage of people who are convinced that someone they knew was seriously injured or killed by the vexxines. Remember the old mantra — safe and effective? Its no longer an opinion that holds sway among the American people.

But its not just opinion anymore: Now its fact, as we keep seeing. Report after report, even showing up in the mainstream media, of people taking the Fauci Flop. Allegedly healthy people, even elite level athletes, suddenly collapsing and in many cases dying.

Reality is that everyone dies and death is not uncommon. But unexpected, sudden death among people younger than 60 or so is quite unusual. Especially among athletes and other people of prominence, except from drugs, which of course have always been a scourge and have claimed people all the time. Elvis infamously died on the crapper and upon autopsy they found ten prescription drugs in size and a seriously damaged liver. Not all that long ago my sister died under similar circumstances, and from similar root causes. I’ve had friends who also succumbed from the same sort of abuse of substances and that sucks.

But many of these are not slow suicides by drug abuse — or, for that matter, by potato chip and sugared beverages. They’re “side effects” of something peddled to the masses and everyone knows it. Those who were conned are scared of meeting God and having to explain their personal insanity to him, thus that fearful look in their eye. Their attacks on you both over the last two years and today are from that exact reason: They’re scared they got it wrong and you had it right — and they may be literally walking while already dead. Those who conned others or worse, who were enforcers either through soft coercion or even literal force, such as politicians, police officers, CEOs and supervisory people are not just scared they might be next but that their particular fiefdom and ambitions are screwed, never mind their personal life and wealth, perhaps terminally so.

I’ve already lost a brother to the vaxx. Our family very nearly lost a good friend to it; she survived, but it was touch-and-go for a while there. And I know there will be more Unexpected, and more Suddenly, and more people performing the Fauci Flop in the future. That is why I am determined, like Karl, to make certain that absolutely no one is permitted to erase from memory what happened during what may yet turn out to be one of the most infamous events in human history.

But the most important thing is that everyone, vaxxed and unvaxxed, must understand from this point forward that neither the government nor the scientists, neither the media nor the health care system, have your best interests at heart. Never, ever, believe any of them again.

I wonder who will play him in the movie one day?

To Catch a Psycho

The Pure Living For Life channel is now hunting the professional cyberstalker who has been relentlessly stalking them for five years:

There are three groups currently, and two of them, the moderator, the leader, the admin, is the psychopath. This primary persona is actually a very caring and naive, even inexperienced woman that really doesn’t know anything about anything, she’s just “I’m just so naive, can someone please help me understand like how this Facebook thing works, I don’t really know much about Facebook Messenger, yeah, I don’t really use this that often, I need people to help me.” They give out lots of compliments, lots of pats on the back, they’re very nurturing, almost mother-like. They’re very good at making people feel like they belong.

When we first started clicking around these groups, we observed that a lot of the group members were what we would describe as throw-away accounts, they were all aliases, they had no history, no friends, it was very clear that these were fake accounts. What we didn’t know was who was behind them, and initially, we did suspect certain creators, but I think a lot of these were actually this one person. There were real people in the group, we do have proof of that, but I think initially the number of real people was actually quite small in comparison.

They would allow threads in their group like, hey, everyone why do you think they don’t live in their house? and they started having people watching our videos frame-by-frame trying to find evidence, holes in our story, if you will, and they would compile all this information and what this became was a recruitment tool for curious viewers.

Here are some of the ways that they would justify the existence and the creation of these groups: well, we only created this group because you don’t allow us to comment, you took away our freedom of speech, you have silenced us, you just have to admit that you don’t know what you’re doing – which we admit in pretty much every video – they said, you just need to tell the truth and we’ll stop but there wasn’t a truth to tell! We were telling the truth!

They began heavily recruiting to their groups through the comments section of other creators and people would come to the groups either out of natural curiosity, with malicious intent, or because they wanted to promote their own channels. They had hundreds or thousands of usernames that they kept unique across numerous platforms to make it look like the people on each platform were unique people creating the illusion of an angry mob. To be more specific, the people on Reddit don’t line up to YouTube don’t line up to Facebook, so it looks like, oh there’s all these people on this platform but those are not the same people on this platform, it’s all the same person.

There are several types of cyberstalkers. There are the curious ones, from the men and women who silently follow the Facebook and Linked In pages of their former romantic interests to old schoolmates keeping up with past friends and acquaintances and young people who have recently met potential new interests performing amateur background checks, but these harmless stalkers are bothering no one.

Then there are the organic stalkers, who are usually gamma males that have taken personal offense at the ideology, beliefs, behavior, or mere existence of a particular individual, usually some form of Internet or TV celebrity. Every actress, writer, streamer, and influencer has a few of these. As annoying as they can be, they are mostly harmless, as doxxing the targets of their obsession is usually the extreme extent of their behavior. In most cases, they do more harm to themselves than others, as they seldom bother to seriously disguise their own identities and they often put themselves in direct legal jeopardy due to their delusional state. Many of them are mentally disturbed, and one can sometimes even observe when they are on and when they are off their prescribed medications.

A secondary form of the organic stalker is the sexual obsessive, which is mildly amusing for male targets but can be deadly for female targets. Male targets typically receive long, narcissistic missives which eventually escalate to sending pictures of the obsessed individual wearing bikinis and other suggestive attire. Many women, particularly on Instagram, are plagued by these obsessives, and although it is very rare, there have been a few actresses killed by an obsessed stalkers who escalated to the point of physical trespassing and violence.

The third form is the corporate SJW. These stalkers tend to be employed by various corporations, although many of the 500+ Wikipedia admins also fit the profile. They’re better seen as thought police than stalkers, although they will literally camp on a Wikipedia entry or an Amazon product for more than a decade once focused on a particular target. The Wikipedia variety can be easily identified by simply examining the View History tab of any given page there; for example, the admin DragonflySixtyseven has been stalking the Wikipedia page about me since 2013.

There are three forms of inorganic stalker. The first is the hacker, which may be nothing more than a botnet, who attempts to break into the target’s site for the purposes of causing chaos and disruption. This is easily dealt with by maintaining proper site and operational security.

The second is the contextual paid hasbaran. These are contract employees of large operations that range from PR firms to state intelligence agencies. They scan the Internet looking for posts, comments, and reviews that contradict their established narrative, then engage in a number of familiar tactics to counter the anti-narrative and disrupt any discussions that appear likely to violate their narrative. They primarily engage in short-term drive-by actions, although I suspect the information they feed up the chain is used to provide targets for the more persistent operations.

And the third form of inorganic stalker is the dedicated professional. This is probably the individual with whom the Pure Living couple are dealing. Dedicated professional cyberstalkers have several identifiable characteristics.

  • They farm the dedicated hate community, which despite the dozens of sock puppets active in it is usually measured in the single digits.
  • They establish and moderate the forums hosting the dedicated hate community.
  • They are persistent over very long periods of time, but unlike the genuine psychos, remain emotionally cool and detached.
  • They tend to have more information much more readily to hand than the organic stalkers and often use it to correct the latter.
  • They relentlessly egg on the organic stalkers while never doing anything themselves.
  • They give out “awards” to the organic trolls and sockpuppets.
  • Their cover story to justify what is observably deranged behavior never makes much sense. It’s always something retarded like “I subscribed to Jimmy’s channel for a month back in 2012 but then I saw him wear a green t-shirt on a stream, which is why I’ve spent the last ten years obsessively farming this hate-Jimmy community on a daily basis.”
  • They strike grandiose poses and will affect to be experts on everything from financial and legal matters to child care and home repair to reassure the organic stalkers.
  • They’re very careful not to cross any legal lines themselves, while encouraging others to do so.
  • They often, though not always, pretend to be women even though their writing is quite clearly male.
  • They very quickly avert any questions directed at themselves by the organic stalkers.
  • They attempt to avoid the obvious distinction between themselves and the organic trolls they are farming and always prefer to utilize plural pronouns.

It’s important to remember that these inorganic stalkers are not crazy people who are obsessed with the target for their own deluded reasons, they’re merely paid to act like psychopaths in order to gather and focus the organic haters on the target of the desired harassment. Many of them, perhaps most, are convicted felons, often convicted for crimes that render them generally unemployable; several professional stalkers whose identities the VFM have identified are, like Kyle Rittenhouse’s attacker Joseph Rosenbaum, listed on a sex offender registry. They’re essentially professional Gamma farmers who are working from a recognizable script.

Systematic documentation is the key. There is no point in communicating with any inorganic stalker since they’re just doing the job they are being paid to do. Threatening consequences or modifying your behavior in accordance with their demands will accomplish nothing, the only solution is to patiently document each crossing of a legal line, in either your jurisdiction or the stalker’s jurisdiction, then present the collected evidence to the relevant police force. And remember, the objective should be to prioritize identifying the inorganic stalker’s employer, identifying the stalker himself is little more than a means to a more important end.

It’s Not That Warm

Just putting this down for the record before the media drumbeat for “warmest winter ever” gets rolling again.

The Winter of 1877-78 is the warmest Meteorological Winter on record in the Twin Cities. The winter of 1877-78 was dubbed the “Year without a Winter.” Indeed, the winter of 1877-78 is the warmest winter on record for the Twin Cities with a December-February average temperature of 29 degrees. The next winter that compares is 1930-31 with an average temperature of 26.9 degrees. In 3rd place is the winter of 2001-02 with 26.8 degrees.

The Year Without a Winter: 1877-78, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources

Obviously it is too soon to reach any conclusions about the current winter, it not even being halfway through January yet, but it should be noted that 2022 wasn’t even a warm year by historical standards.

The average temperature in the Twin Cities metro area in 2022 was 46 degrees Fahrenheit, according to the National Weather Service. That number is below the region’s “normal,” or long-term average temperature of 46.9 degrees. The hottest air temperature in the metro was 101 degrees, and the coldest was 17 degrees below zero.

I Didn’t Even Have to Ask

There is an old saying, attributed somewhat dubiously to Voltaire: “I prayed the Lord to make my enemies ridiculous, and He answered my prayer.”

I can’t claim any credit here, and I very much doubt any divine intervention was required, as the SFWA has not only managed to make itself ridiculous again, but is now demonstrating that there is no reason for it to even exist anymore.

If you’ve read my body of work here at Upstream over the past year or so, you know I’m not a big fan of the SFWA. From their long and sordid history of hagiographic treatment of serial child molesters to cancelling their own honorees to getting vast amounts of member data leaked, it’s safe to say that SFWA as an organization has entered the “skinsuiting” phase of their existence; a once-valuable entity that had meaning, now merely doing whatever it can to rake in cash on little more than its former notoriety.

If that sounds too harsh, allow me to present what came to mind after I had a chance to pore over their recently released tax returns for 2021. That year’s filings have been of particular interest, given that 2021 saw a highly profiled but spectacularly failed lawsuit.

The “LOLsuit”, as it became known in certain corners of the internet, was the effort of member author Patrick Tomlinson to subpoena Cloudflare into revealing the identities of the users on an Opie and Anthony fan forum that had taken to trolling him. It’s been highly speculated since that Tomlinson received help from SFWA’s Legal Fund for the effort. Many who had taken a look at our previous article on SFWA’s filings from prior years were anxious to see if barely-an-author’s escapades would be reflected in 2021’s long-awaited filings.

Welp, wouldn’t you know it, their legal expenses nearly quintupled compared to 2020 (that year’s filings can be found here):

LEGAL EXPENSES 2020: 17,533

LEGAL EXPENSES 2021: 83,750

Which, naturally, leads me to wonder if 2023 is the year I should consider filing that lawsuit to force the organization to publicly acknowledge that I am still a member. The Legal Legion certainly has a much better record in the California courts than SFWA’s legal team.
