God, Country, and Family

It’s hard to beat that as a campaign platform:

An exit poll has found Giorgia Meloni is set to win Italy’s elections and become the country’s first female Prime Minister as it braces for its most right-wing government since Mussolini.

Italy lurches to the far-Right in political earthquake: Exit poll finds ‘anti-woke’ Giorgia Meloni is set to win elections and become the country’s first female PM as EU state braces for its most right-wing government since Mussolini.

Giorgia Meloni, 45, who ran on a motto of ‘God, country and family’, will become Italy’s first female PM

An exit poll for state broadcaster RAI said Meloni’s Brothers of Italy, in alliance Matteo Salvini’s League and Silvio Berlusconi’s Forza Italia party, has won between 41 per cent and 45 per cent of the vote. The figure would be enough to guarantee control of both houses of parliament.

According to the poll, the closest contender, the center-left alliance of former Democratic Party Premier Enrico Letta, apparently garnered as much as 29.5 per cent.

We should find out soon how serious Meloni is, and if she’ll govern like Thatcher or if she’s an Italian Merkel. The two most pressing issues are a) the anti-Russian sanctions and b) the European Union. If she’s legitimate, she’ll rapidly end the former and begin laying the groundwork for a referendum about leaving the latter.

But the electoral trend is clearly in favor of the nations and against the globalist “progress” of the last 50 years.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, this is not a good sign that the new Italian government will actually oppose globohomo. But, as always, let’s see what they do rather than overanalyze what they say.

Italian lawmaker Giorgia Meloni, the front-runner to become the country’s next prime minister, is expected to reverse course on Italy’s support for China’s Belt and Road Initiative and strengthen ties with Taiwan if a coalition headed by her party wins the country’s general election today. “Without any doubt, if there is a center-right government, it is sure that Taiwan will be an essential concern for Italy,” Meloni told the Central News Agency in an interview.

Connections

Ever notice how all of these sketchballs in various fields appear to be tied together in a variety of ways that you would never, ever, imagine?

Hunter Biden co-owned a firm that was partnering with Kobe Bryant “on a series of academies in China.”

Whether it’s Epstein and Gates, or Podesta and Alefantis, or Zelensky and Stiller, the creepiest people in unrelated fields always seem to find a way to get connected to each other.

Smart Thermostats are Very Stupid

Contra their sole purported purpose for existing, smart thermostats have been scientistically proven to INCREASE energy usage:

“Engineering estimates from the California Technical Forum …. predict that smart thermostats will produce substantial reductions in energy consumption,” the report, called “The Human Perils of Scaling Smart Technologies: Evidence from Field Experiments,” said. It was released by authors from Johns Hopkins, University of Chicago, University of Southern California and University of Alabama.

They studied the smart thermostat impact on energy consumption using data over an 18-month period including more than 16 million hourly electricity use records and almost 700,000 daily observations of natural gas consumption.

“The most relevant estimates to our experimental sample come from Department of Energy Technical Reference Manuals, which are annual reports produced by energy providers and regulators. These reports primarily rely on engineering simulations and survey data to predict the effects of energy efficiency programs at scale.

“These predictions are then used by energy providers to justify expenditures on energy efficiency programs. Mapping these predictions for Californians, which vary by climate zone and the size of a home, to our experimental samples we find that savings of 1.3% and 4.0% are respectively predicted for overall electricity and natural gas consumption.”

However, those thermostats were found to “fail to deliver the expected energy savings.”

The researchers said, in their nearly 100-page report, those thermostats “actually increase electricity and gas consumption by 2.3% and 4.2%, respectively,” the report found. The report explained the problem was not necessarily one of usability. “In fact, researchers observed, nearly all users with the smart devices programmed them almost immediately, and many did so with energy savings in mind,” the report said.

Instead, the problem was with how often and to what extent users overrode the programming to set heating temperatures higher, or cooling temperatures lower, when they wanted to change it.

And this doesn’t even account for the real detriment to installing a smart thermostat, which is that it provides the service provider the ability to shut off your heat and power in the event Alexa hears you saying something that violates the current Narrative.

First, don’t even consider installing one. Second, if you’ve got one installed, replace it with a traditional dumb thermostat that is fully under your control.

Color Revolution in China

The Prometheans are reportedly making a desperate play to bring China back under their control.

The reports coming out of Beijing could rock the world. Global media has no idea what is going on with Xi Jinping at his home. Honestly, at this point those who want the tyrant to remain in power should forget about his third term; it appears that CCP veterans have already crushed his lust for power.

Chinese netizens have stormed Social Media timelines with reports that Beijing is under military seizure. The world, though, has no idea of what’s happening because the city is eventually cut off from the world.

According to News Highland Vision, former Chinese President, Hu Jintao and former Chinese Premier, Wen Jiabao had persuaded Song Ping, the former member of the Standing Committee and retaken control of the Central Guard Bureau (CGB).

For those who don’t know, the purpose of CGB is to provide close personnel protection to members of the Politburo Standing Committee and other CCP leaders. The committee is also responsible for the protection of Xi Jinping.

As Hu and Wen retook control of CGB, information was conveyed to Jiang Zeng and the Central Committee members in Beijing via telephone. The original standing committee members abolished Xi’s military authority at that very moment.

Xi returned to Beijing on the evening of 16th September after learning the truth. However, Xi Jinping was detained at the airport and most probably is currently being held under house arrest in Zhongnanhai’s house.

Hu Jintao is the neo-liberal world order’s puppet in China. He was supposed to prepare the transition of the seat of the Empire That Never Ended from Washington DC to Beijing, hence all of those “ghost cities” being constructed. However, the unexpected rise of Xi Jinping and his subsequent anti-corruption campaign put an end to those plans.

The globalist Empire is now in desperate straits due to the success of the Sino-Russian alliance, which is why Ukraine was used to provoke Russia into war with NATO. However, NATO cannot defeat Russia and will inevitably lose any war against both Russia and China. Hence this reported attempt to bring China back under imperial control, or at least render it neutral in the NATO-Russian war.

As with the US-backed anti-Erdogan coup in 2016, I wouldn’t take these early reports of Xi being overthrown and being held under house arrest too seriously. We’ll have to wait and see what is actually happening over there, although we were promised a big event on 9/24/22, so perhaps this is it.

For the record, none of my connections in China believe it is real. My own opinion is best described as “deeply skeptical”.

UPDATE: The primary propagator of the #China coup rumor is now saying that the rumor is not true. She has also said that 3 senior anti-Xi officials were sentenced to death. However, only the sentence for Former Vice Public Security Minister Sun Lijun, 53, has been confirmed, in this case by Bloomberg, and the death sentence was suspended in favor of life imprisonment with no possibility of parole.

Doug Wilson is a Christian

But he is most certainly NOT a Christian nationalist.

In the early 1950’s a young man named William F. Buckley was tapped by the CIA to serve as the single head of the conservative movement that was rising then in America. The problem the CIA hoped to correct by tapping Buckley as their guy is that the conservative movement was getting out of control because it was such a broad and variegated movement. By anointing Buckley as the head of the movement that gave the CIA the ability to streamline the conservative movement into one single expression and thus could be monitored, controlled, and manipulated more easily. In his position as unofficial head of the conservative movement Buckley became the guy who was the gatekeeper of conservatism. Without Buckley’s legitimizing nod any hopeful movement conservative was out in the wasteland. By not granting that nod Buckley read Robert Welch and the Birchers out of the conservative movement early on. In later years Buckley threw Sam Francis, Peter Brimelow, and Joe Sobran out of the conservative movement. Murray N. Rothbard’s “The Betrayal of the American Right,” exposes all this.

The reason I go into all this history is to suggest that it may well be being repeated. Here we are in a time where Christian Nationalism is on the rise and suddenly we find the left wing Media anointing who the “Leader” is going to be by hotfooting it out to Moscow Idaho to do a mild hit piece on Doug Wilson. They hit Doug just hard enough for everyone to think that Doug must now be the leader of this Christian Nationalism movement that they kind of like. Next, we learn the BBC is coming out to do another mild hit piece on Doug.

The irony in all this is that Doug has said how he was a National Review junkie for years and years. Doug loved him some William F. Buckley. Now Doug has become Wm. F. Buckley. Pity poor Doug.

Now, any other time Conservatives know that they are not going to get a fair shake from the National and International media and so they decline the opportunity to be flayed alive. Conservatives know that in interviews their words will be spliced and segments will be edited by the Lugenpresse. But does that stop Doug from opening his doors to the Lugenpresse? Not Doug … nope, Doug steps right up to the microphone and speaks. And in so doing what has happened is that Doug becomes the leader of the “Christian Nationalism” movement and this despite the fact that all Doug is offering is warmed over classical Liberalism and not Christian Nationalism at all.

Anyone who is even remotely concerned about the false and manufactured sins of “racism” and “anti-semitism” and “white supremacy”, much less makes a big deal about opposing them, is not a genuine nationalist. Such men are, at best, statists who advocate a paper nationalism in the place of the real thing.

This really isn’t that hard. A nationalist is one who puts first the people who are related to him by blood and history, rather than by ideology, citizenship, skin color, religion, or geographic location. Anyone who does not support that concept, or who attempts to substitute anything other than genetic and cultural kinship for the nation, is a charlatan.

A Christian nationalist is one who ADDS the element of the Christian faith to the cultural requirement, not one who SUBSTITUTES religious identification for blood and history. One can no more use Christianity to deny national differences than to deny the reality of sex or slavery; Galatians 3:28 is one of the most intentionally misused verses in the Bible.

However, the mere fact that the media sees the need to coopt and subvert the term is a very positive sign indeed. It means that the nations are rising and Globohomo’s multiracial Babelism is failing.

Abandoning the Indefensible

Even the corpocratic media has reluctantly thrown in the towel on Dem Rangz despite being more than willing to accept the sadistic defacing of Tolkien’s legacy, to endorse the rampant blackwashing, and to osculate the Bezosian backside:

I’ve come to a sad realization: The creators of Amazon’s The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power know how to create spectacle, but they don’t know how to tell a good story.

There it is, scrawled in blood on the wall. The writers and showrunners responsible for this show could have won me over with good fan-fiction. They could have tossed Tolkien’s lore onto a bonfire and I’d have been perfectly happy if they’d simply crafted an enjoyable story with characters I care about.

Unfortunately, The Rings Of Power is written so poorly it defies even my worst fears. Oh yes, I was awed and impressed by the opening two episodes just like many others. But my how quickly a badly written TV series can wear out its welcome once the shimmer fades….

Galadriel’s adventure in Númenor is honestly just embarrassing. She arrived there—after being rescued—and effectively just bullied everyone in her path like the elven version of a steamroller. The queen regent has her hands full from the moment Galadriel barges through the door, and soon she’s demanding to see the king, then asking for an army.

Miriel has to lock her up and then pack her off back to the elves just to get her to stop. Then—thanks to petals falling from a tree*—she decides to take her back and commit her people—who moments earlier were all but chanting “death to the elves!”—to a war in a strange land? Everything taking place in Númenor is just a shortcut for the plot. Move the plot forward at all costs no matter how many characters are butchered in the process. (I wrote about the hilariously bad Black Speech spy note recently which is another great example of the shoddy writing in this show)>

Instead of actual character drama, the creators of Rings Of Power simply make everyone bicker and argue with one another all the time. Whether that’s Isildur and his father and friends, Elrond and Durin, Nori and the village elders, Bronwyn and the village idiots, or Galadriel and, well, everybody—all anyone seems to do is argue.

The people Galadriel wants to go save are evil and stupid and some of them seem ready to throw in with Sauron at the drop of a pin. But for some reason we’re supposed to care about Galadriel’s quest to go fight to save them from the Enemy?

As an aside, here’s a thought for those producing future films and television series: if casting a cute blonde with a mild case of resting bitch face in the place of an ethereal blonde beauty is enough to functionally derail an A+++ production, imagine how much you are lowering the odds of your own little project being successful if you submit to the creative death by diversity that the Hellmouth is presently demanding?

It’s never a good sign when the most entertaining thing about a production is the commentary on its ongoing immolation.

Anyhow, back to A SEA OF SKULLS. Lodi is discovering he’s got a new task at hand, and he’s not very happy about it….

Correction

Karl Denninger commented on my post yesterday:

Vox could have emailed me and asked about such a thing as he opined in relationship to what I believe, but he didn’t.

You see, it fits with a “gotta be this way” pronouncement to not do so.

It also allows one to hide behind “trust the plan” (of God, if you prefer) which, from my point of view, isn’t much different than those who buy into the “Q” crap.

‘Nuff said.

Fair enough, I stand corrected. I should not have assumed that Karl was not a religious man, simply because many, if not most, religious people nevertheless do not analyze current events through a religious or spiritual lens. It would have been more accurate to say something like this:

It is very difficult, if not impossible, for those analyzing events from a rational or a materialist perspective to connect the events of today with the pattern of historic manifestations of the same evil that is now ascendant, no matter how well they happen to analyze those events.

Karl’s particular beliefs are not relevant here, which is why I did not ask him about them and why I should not have even mentioned them. But I think my point generally stands, as evidenced by his subsequent comment about his perspective on current events.

I don’t dislike Vox and do read him from time to time.

My view of how spirituality has been twisted and abused through the ages both as a foil (“if you do that you’ll go to HELL!”) and a shield behind which one can evade doing what they know damn well is both right AND necessary (“God will judge; its not my place”) however, is well-documented and I’ve said so many times. The latter is especially invidious and, in my opinion, responsible for an unbelievable number of wrongs that various people get away with despite the fact that they did it being common knowledge and that the act deserves punishment also being not only common knowledge but in many cases near-universal consensus.

You need only look at the current VUMC controversy with them allegedly being involved in cutting off kids dicks and tits, perhaps with both drugs and knives. That predates Covid by quite a lot, yet in point of fact it is no different in fundamental character than their pronouncements vis-a-vis the virus and various public pronouncements surrounding it.

Risk assessment and personal autonomy be damned; there was money to be made and thus it was. At its core that’s the bottom line and it requires nothing further to see.

I do have a beef with those who claim that this is some spiritual war between good and evil (e.g. God and Satan, light and dark, pick ’em) and then, having identified the problem as such, refuse to join the battle when they claim to be on the good side.

Exactly how committed to that viewpoint is said person?

While I share Karl’s outrage and frustration about religious passivity and the refusal of Christians to reject obvious evil and to judge the wicked when it is both necessary and appropriate for them to do so, his response underlines the very point I was attempting to make. There is, absolutely and unquestionably, a monetary angle to the VUMC controversy. That’s valid and it is an important part of the equation. But there is also a very wicked spiritual angle as well; the obsession with homosexuality and transgenderism is ancient and unnatural, and it is an unmistakable sign of a satanic submission to Baphomet on the part of someone influential in that organization. One cannot fully understand the situation, or correctly anticipate the future consequences, unless one factors both the material and the spiritual elements into the analytical model.

It’s not an accident that the same ghastly evils, homosexuality, transgenderism, pedophilia, and child sacrifice, keep reappearing in the late stages of societies given completely over to more common evils such as lust, sloth, and greed. In the absence of a comprehensive theology of evil, we must make do with recognizing its historical patterns, and one observable pattern is that submission to Mammon in the form of usury and greed tends to precede submission to Asmodeus in the form of conventional lust, eventually followed by submission to Baphomet and Moloch, among others.

It even provides us with a predictive model; such societies are usually destroyed utterly by other, less corrupt societies that regard them, quite rightly, with horror and revulsion. And certainly that scenario is much easier to envision today than it was even three years ago.

As for the valid question of how committed one is if one does not join the battle, I would merely observe that we are reliably informed that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

When the time comes to take material action, you will know because your conscience will guide you. God will call some to be martyrs, some to be crusaders, and some to be inquisitors. The Pax Christiana of Jesus Christ is enforced with the sword he ordered his followers to buy. The evil will be confronted and the wicked will be defeated. But in the meantime, until the time comes, we must act as witnesses and as fearless speakers for the truth.

And of all the speakers for the truth today, Karl Denninger is one of the most intrepid. Which is why this is not a criticism of the man, it is merely an expression of my hope that he will see even more clearly, and analyze even more effectively, as the ancient elements of the ongoing conflict continue to come in focus over time.
