The media discovers 2033

Laura Ingraham talked to a historian about the coming breakup of the USA on Fox:

Ingraham: Historian Craig Shirley writes our country is in a vicious toxic relationship with itself. Like any toxic relationship, the only inevitable eventuality is that it will mercifully end with breakup. I don’t see any sort of viable path forward at the rate we’re going. Author and historian Craig Shirley joins me now. Is there really no path in your mind to reconciliation?
Shirley: No, I don’t think so, Laura. Look, we had national glue in the past to hold us together as a nation. We had Manifest Destiny, the Great Depression, we had wars and other activities. Covid should have been the national glue holding us together but it wasn’t. In fact, it drove us further apart. You saw states arguing with states, and states arguing with the national government about how to proceed, how to distribute vaccines. No, I don’t see any choice going forward. It may be a natural thing. Like a Brexit only in the United States, where states, blue states and red states, separate and have some type of friendly trading relationship or friendly transportation relationship, but they are all self-governed. Which is really what the founders intended in the first place.

Demographics is destiny. The dirt is not magic. The civnats have inverted reality and their basic concept entirely backwards: Mexicans are not people who happen to live inside lines on a map called Mexico, Mexico is where Mexicans live. The breakup of the USA is already inevitable and it has been since 1965. But now the concept is being normalized.

Therefore, it’s time to make sure you’re on the right side of the borders-to-be.

American exodus

The problem is that even many of those who understand the pressing need for an American exodus from the Imperial USA still believe the problem is one of ideology rather than demographics, as Michael Lind’s article makes clear:

In the first few months of 2021, it is clear that widespread compliance with institutions and leading personages on which the American system of government has long rested is no longer possible. The oligarchy exercises all earthly powers. Its theophobia dismisses heaven’s. It substitutes “narratives” for truth. Because its members internalized the assumption that reason is simply what Hobbes called a scout for the passions, what Marx said is superstructural to material reality, and what the woke call “logism,” it has placed itself beyond the reach of argument. It can neither admit those it deems deplorable to real citizenship— never mind to society’s commanding heights—nor can it set bounds to the next round of exactions and humiliations that, having ditched persuasion, it must visit upon them.

The deplorables plainly stand no chance of dismantling the new American system. Corporate executives, not legislatures, governors, or presidents are the ones who decide what happens to the trillions of dollars created jointly by the Federal Reserve and Wall Street. They are the ones who regulate speech and attitudes, who for the most part decide who rises and who does not. And they are the part of the oligarchy most insulated from republican institutions.

America is now ruled by a single elite class rather than by local patrician smart sets competing with each other for money and power

New laws may be most useful for reviving old ones, such as the 1890 Sherman Antitrust Act. But the problem lies in a century’s accretion of administrative arrangements, court rulings, and above all, of self-serving practices. Nor would it be possible for these elected officials to restore the republic that was founded in 1776-79, even if an economic recession or act of Providence were to deliver solid electoral victories in the Senate, House, and presidency to a party of the country class (were one to come into being). That is because the republic’s substance withered over a century, and its husk collapsed over the past five years.

In our time, millions of people have grown up or been educated no longer to want or be able to live as citizens of what had been the American republic. Partisans in mind, heart, and habit, their support of the oligarchy’s partisan rule has left the United States with two peoples of opposing character, aspirations, and tastes within its national borders. The government bureaucracies are led by persons selected and habituated against the deplorables. The same can be said of the educational establishment and corporate boardrooms. What sort of dictatorial power would it take to purge them? Were the deplorables to struggle for the partisan power to oppress the others, they would guarantee dysfunction at best, war at worst. That is why it makes most sense for them to assert their own freedom.

Some sort of mostly peaceful exodus is within our powers to achieve. A very bad imitation of Mr. Smith was able to convince 75 million to rise against dangers that were still largely theoretical in 2016. Better imitators can lead many more to act against present ones, and to live within institutions of their own making. We can withdraw our compliance, go our own way, and build anew.

Separation from our oligarchy requires stripping it of its claims of legitimacy. Their means of control—from making and breaking careers to control of institutional machinery—are daunting. Individuals may be penalized easily. But every bit of this power vanishes in the face of mass resistance. The oligarchy is frightened of this, with good reason. Nor can they stop an exodus by using force, sensing that they might well lose the ensuing civil war.

Conservatism, civnattery, and judeo-christianity caused the unnecessary self-implosion of the American empire and its subsequent conquest by a foreign, anti-American elite. Ideology will never provide a viable solution in a post-ideological age.

Never forget that the societies inevitably rise from the ashes of failed heterogeneous societies are homogeneous.

White America begins to secede

It’s currently being described as “outstate vs metro”, “country vs city” and “rural vs urban”, but that’s all just a euphemistic way of describing the obvious. Jews didn’t want to be ruled by Romans. Africans and Indians didn’t want to be ruled by the British. So, it shouldn’t be a surprise that Americans and other whites of European descent aren’t exactly enthusiastic about being ruled by the POX.

A Republican Minnesota state representative is introducing legislation that would create a pathway for Minnesota counties to secede from the state and join the South Dakota.

Rep. Jeremy Munson (R-Crystal Lake) introduced the bill Thursday and tweeted out an image of his vision, which depicted nearly every county west of the Twin Cities metro as part of a newly imagined South Dakota.

“Minnesota becomes more politically polarized every year and the metro politicians have shown us that rural Minnesotans are no longer represented by St Paul. It’s time to leave,” read a webpage on Munson’s campaign website.

The idea echoes a similar push among rural Oregon counties to join Idaho.

Republican South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem appeared to be in support of Munson’s idea, by retweeting his plan.

It’s an excellent idea, and every Minnesotan on either side of the divide should embrace it. But this is just a minor precursor of the eventual breakup, which probably will not be entirely peaceful and political in nature.

Very glad I left

Between the George Floyd riots and the ever-more-insane convergence of what were already very left-wing institutions, I can’t honestly say that I miss Minnesota in the slightest:

The Chanhassen Dinner Theater in Minnesota has canceled its production of Cinderella because it found that the cast was “too white” to go on.

Michael Brindisi, the artistic director, who first raised issue with the cast, said the play was fine but could not in good faith go on with a cast that, according to estimates, came in about 98{3549d4179a0cbfd35266a886b325f66920645bb4445f165578a9e086cbc22d08} white. So, they opted to boot the whole project.

“That doesn’t work with what we’re saying we’re going to do,” Brindisi said.

In a follow-up, the company said it will implement “anti-racist” protocols in response to the now-canceled cast and rely on its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) consultant.

On the other hand, the increasing inability of these institutions to perform their core functions is creating opportunity after opportunity for the sane, and for those devoted to the Good, the Beautiful, and the True.

Speaking of which, I would be remiss if I did not note that the Castalia Library edition of HEIDI by Johanna Spyri is now available for purchase as a one-off, complete with original interior illustrations. A very limited quantity of the Libraria edition is also available.

Curfew or sharia

Either way, the UK is committing societal suicide after permitting its own mass invasion, which began in 1948:

Will UK implement 6pm curfew for men?

As yet there are no set in stone plans to implement a curfew of any form.

However, there have been calls for steps to be taken to protect women following the tragic disappearance of Sarah Everard.

Today Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford has said a curfew on men “wouldn’t be on the top of the list” of measures the Welsh Government would consider as it would be only a “temporary intervention”.

Mr Drakeford told BBC Breakfast: “If there were a crisis, and you needed to take dramatic action that allowed that crisis to be drawn down, then, of course, you’d be prepared to consider all measures that would make a difference. But the sort of measure, the curfew measure that you describe, it could only ever be a temporary answer and therefore it’s not at the top of our list. There are other things that we can do and should do and we’ll work hard with our third sector organisations, our local authorities in Wales. People need to be safe and to feel safe, and that’s absolutely the sort of society we wish to create here in Wales.”

Men have since been asking on social media how they can help women feel safe, with a number of actions shared by women.

These include

  • Crossing to the other side of the road instead of walking behind a woman
  • Don’t make comments
  • Keep your distance and if needing to overtake, give space
  • Walk your female friends home
  • Don’t stare
  • Where possible, remove your face mask
  • Don’t stand by when inappropriate behaviour or comments are taking place.

Perhaps they might also consider passing laws that make rape and murder illegal? Notice that they don’t even consider doing the two things that would actually protect English and Welsh women, which is to repatriate all of the foreigners and issue cute pink .22 revolvers to every woman over the age of fifteen.

Patreon community standards

It probably won’t surprise you to learn that this woman’s account on Patreon is still active. In fact, she’s currently the #4 creator on Patreon, which despite its thought-policing has become little more than a factory of degeneracy and filth:

Yagami Yato is a voice artist who produces voiceovers for animation videos, usually from anime. Her popular YouTube Channel has over 800,000 followers. Some of her work is considered to be NSFW (not safe for work), which has led to the recent controversy around accusations she has been promoting obscene material to children.

Her Patreon account is for more explicitly adult work, whereas her YouTube Channel is meant for material appropriate for all ages.

Fuel was added to the fire a few days ago when an anonymous Twitter account referring to themselves as Yagami Yato Confessions claimed that Yato had groomed them when they joined her Discord server as a teenager in high school. They claimed that Yato used many minors as her moderators.

The account alleged that Yagami had used sexually explicit comments around them and had made light of their warnings to her that she shouldn’t market NSFW material to minors. The account also accused Yagami of sending them sexually explicit audios from her Patreon account….

Yagami Yato stated that all her NSFW material will now be locked behind her Patreon account.

It’s telling that Patreon doesn’t consider sexually explicit content sent to minors on its platform to be a violation of their community standards. The next discovery stage is certainly going to be informative, because you know this is far from the only such incident there.

Amazon is locking down

Having already eviscerated both the ebook and audiobook markets, Amazon is now going to sabotage its own print book sales:

Conservatives are sounding the alarm about an updated Amazon policy that bans books the ubiquitous billion-dollar company deems offensive or includes so-called “hate speech.”

Amazon has ramped up its censorship on conservative views in recent weeks. For example, a popular documentary on U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was banned from their streaming service this past week. Before that move, the company deplatformed conservative Ryan Anderson’s book critical of gender theory, “When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Movement.”

When Just the News reached out to Amazon over the ban on Anderson’s book, the outlet said the company directed them to a page outlining their “Content Guidelines for Books.” Under a section labeled “Offensive Content,” Amazon states that they “don’t sell certain content including content that we determine is hate speech, promotes the abuse or sexual exploitation of children, contains pornography, glorifies rape or pedophilia, advocates terrorism, or other material we deem inappropriate or offensive.”

“A review of those policies suggests that sometime in the last few months Amazon made a major change to the ways in which it moderates book content on its servers, imposing a much stricter standard on books than it had previously done,” the report said. It appears the company recently added so-called “hate speech” to their guidelines on book platforming, and is amping up their censorship of the “offensive.”

Castalia has already removed most of its audiobooks from Audible. We’re well set up to not only survive, but thrive upon the convergence and decline of Amazon, so don’t worry about us. If you must worry, worry about all the independents who have staked their careers and livelihoods upon Amazon.

And if you’re not using the Arkhaven and Castalia Direct stores yet, you really should be.

Dr. Seuss is racist

And this is why you need to buy hardcover books. Preferably in leather.

Sixty-four years after his creation, the Cat in the Hat turned into a racist.

For over 20 years, March 2 has been recognized as Read Across America Day in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Now, some useless, far-Left educator group known as Learning for Justice is “demanding” that Dr. Seuss be canceled because of his, wait for it, “racial undertones.” According to The Daily Wire, gutless-run school districts like Loudoun County Public Schools, one prominent in Virginia, are already taking the marching orders, telling its teachers to “avoid connecting Read Across America Day with Dr. Seuss.”

After carefully reviewing books like One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, Loudoun County Public Schools found that Dr. Seuss is not suitable for “culturally responsive” learning.

Here’s the statement. Get ready, it’s good:

“Realizing that many schools continue to celebrate ‘Read Across America Day’ in partial recognition of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, it is important for us to be cognizant of research that may challenge our practice in this regard. As we become more culturally responsive and racially conscious, all building leaders should know that in recent years there has been research revealing radical undertones in the books written and the illustrations drawn by Dr. Seuss.”

The lesson, as always, is this: sink the damn ships!

Armed and unprepared

I don’t agree at all with this American Greatness article. The recent election demonstrated, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that democracy is dead and there is no political exit. It strikes me as yet another conservative finger-wagging “this is your LAST chance to vote your way to safety”. But the voting machines have been compromised, ergo no one’s votes matter in the slightest. There is no more Democrat vs Republican, there is only optimate vs populare.

Many traditional Americans are sleepwalking into a conflict they are not mentally prepared to handle. The ideals of blind justice and due process are now, for all intents and purposes, quaint relics, and relying on constitutional rights for protection is dangerously naïve.

Like it or not, we live in a police state, controlled by an increasingly authoritarian regime with near-total electronic surveillance. The national security apparatus views conservatives and free-thinkers as domestic terrorists, and there are now more military deployed in our nation’s capital than in war zones overseas. If America were any other country, it would be considered a non-permissive environment—not a free country.

The pundit class recommends midterm elections and unifying the GOP as remedies, but they ignore the real elephant in the room—representative government is not representing us. While conservative and independent voices are censored and banned from the community square, their elected representatives cower behind their desks and make sweetheart deals with the new regime.

We are facing a new post-justice, post-truth society. We won’t be able to debate our way out of it, vote our way out of it, or tweet our way out of it. No one is coming to save us. If traditional America wants to be free, it will have to stop living in the past, get up off the couch, and take action.

The good news is that there is nothing particularly difficult about the present situation. The only difference between the two parties described in the article and the two parties of Roman history is that in the USA, the optimates are mostly foreigners. Indeed, it is the situation in which the overwhelming majority of humanity found itself for the greater part of human history. The populares defeated the optimates in Rome, and they will defeat them again in America.

If you want your fake elections

You can keep your fake elections:

The United States Supreme Court refused to review the Pennsylvania 2020 Election cases.

The court made the announcement on Monday morning.

Justices Alito, Gorsuch, and Thomas dissented from the denial.

Trump- nominated Justices Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett sided with the liberal justices.

So much for the importance of electing Republicans to appoint Supreme Court justices….
