What to do, what not to do

The Men of the West have suggestions for the Alt-Right, the Alt-Lite, and other defenders of Western civilization:

So, you have looked around and realized that the world is not how it should be. Things that were good in the past  have decayed. Our culture is crumbling around us. We see things that are good and proper being ignored or even intentionally dismantled, replaced with obscenities and evil. Whether we are talking about governmental policies or business practices, or even educational opportunities, we can no longer rely on things as they are. They do not produce an end result that indicates a healthy, godly culture. So what do we do? As I see it, we have three choices.

First, the thing we cannot do, though it is an option, is to just stick our heads back in the sand and ignore it. Look, it is time to make a stand, not just let things progress down this path to destruction.

Secondly, we can point out problems. We can gripe about them. We can write articles, blog posts, and generally complain. Now, I do think we need to do this. It is important. Without calling out the problems, nothing will be done. However, we cannot stop there.

igThird, we have to address these problems, whatever they may be, and begin to do something about them. We point them out, and then enact change. The time for “go along to get along” is past. In fact, it was never a good choice, but so many of us just figured things will work themselves out. Unfortunately, that is not the case. We have to take real action.

  • Use resources that are consistent with our world view. We recently ran a post with such resources. Make it your habit to support them, whether with finances or just by using them. The more we spread these healthy alternatives, the more people will be exposed to them and the more impact they will have.
  • Use your own skills and talents to produce more alternatives. Already, good folks have created alternatives to Wikipedia, Twitter, and more. Other alternatives are in the works. We need folks to step up and create even more of these. If your skill set allows you to help produce those, then go for it. Many, maybe most, of these won’t catch on, but so what? Some will. The more that do, the more that can follow. We just need traction to get these things to succeed.
  • Stop complaining about those who are stepping up. Rather than trying to be a “moderate,” be an extremist. This is no time for moderation. As Barry Goldwater stated: “Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice. And moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.” We have no patience for moderates. We want wholesale change and will work to make it happen.
  • Network with likeminded folks. Recently, a commenter on this site pointed out that too many people spend time complaining and writing articles, but not enough time actually doing anything. While the majority of his post was incorrect, on this one point, he was spot on. 

These are key points. Unless you are a beta tester or a proofreader, don’t kid yourself into thinking that complaints and criticism are “helping” anyone or doing anything. They’re not. In almost all cases, the criticism is superficial and redundant, while the complaints are both irritating and demoralizing. And perhaps more importantly, if you had ever done anything yourself, you would know that.

So get involved. Do something. Act. Build. Cheer. Support. Subscribe. Sustain. That’s how you can make a difference. That’s how we will stave off collapse.

No more cucking, cucky

Back in mid-2015, Hateful Heretic explained, to conservatives, what cuckservatism is, and why it is a complete dead end. It remains every bit as true and relevant today.

A cuckservative is a self-styled “conservative” who will cravenly sell out and undermine his home country’s people, culture, and national interest in order to win approval with parties hostile or indifferent to them.

The Platonic form of the cuckservative is the UK’s David Cameron, who famously proclaimed that it is England that needs to adapt to Islam and not the other way around. A cuckold is a perfect metaphor for this mewling, loathsome stain of a man.

It’s not just one thing. It’s not just McConnell selling out his base to lap up donations from Ex-Im Bank beneficiaries. It’s not just ¡Jeb! brazenly declaring that Americans need to be replaced by Mexicans because they’re a more moral and noble people than us. It’s not just Sean Hannity defending Israeli spies. It’s not just George W Bush throwing hard-earned American treasure at the HIV-infested toilet of Africa. It’s not just Rand Paul’s stated desire to return the franchise to millions of black felons who will overwhelmingly use it to vote for more gibsmedat funded by whites.

The idea of amnesty—namely that I, a hard-working, responsible American with no arrest record at all, owe welfare payments, free education, and other “bennies” to foreigners who have no legal right to be here—is rage-inducing enough. Seeing my ostensible defenders in the government bend over backward to make the left like them and justify turning America into a Third World country makes me want to bite my own face off.

The idea that conservatives shouldn’t even talk about race is one more way we’re cucked. See, the left talks about race all the time. They are explicitly and deliberately organized as a racial grievance party. Each passing year, they become more overtly and brazenly dedicated to punishing and expropriating whites in order to deliver gibsmedat to blacks and Hispanics. And when we complain about the way things are going, we get scolded for being “racist.” Holder is right. We are a nation of cowards when it comes to race. We’re terrified of speaking out about how black America’s problems are most certainly not the fault of the white middle class. We’re terrified of talking about what the vast majority of Arabs actually believe. We go into paroxysms of terror if the subject of just why all those Latin American countries are socialist comes up. And God forbid anyone ever, EVER say the two words “white interests” except to say how evil and illegitimate they are.

The Alt-Right is a conscious, even contemptuous, rejection of cuckservatism. It is not cowardly. It is not terrified. It is not defeatist. It is committed to the truth. It is committed to science. It is committed to the lessons of history. And it is committed to the idea that Western Civilization is a better place to live than any other societal ordering of men, including the various dyscivilizational notions created by utopians from communists to libertarians.

That’s why, if you have any regard for Western Civilization at all, you should be on board with both the Trump Train and the Alt-Right Revolution. Stop cowering. Stop cucking. Embrace truth and tribe, and start winning.

Pat Buchanan explains that this comes down to a simple distinction, between America as a legitimate nation of real people and America as an ahistorical, abstract, imaginary idea:

Who are we? What is a nation? What does America stand for?

Those desperate to see the wall built, illegal immigration halted, and those here illegally deported, see the country they grew up in as dying, disappearing, with something strange and foreign taking its place.

It is not only that illegal migrants take jobs from Americans, that they commit crimes, or that so many require subsidized food, welfare, housing, education and health care. It is that they are changing our country. They are changing who we are.

Two decades ago, the Old Right and the neocons engaged in a ferocious debate over what America was and is.

Were we from the beginning a new, unique, separate and identifiable people like the British, French and Germans?

Or was America a new kind of nation, an ideological nation, an invented nation, united by an acceptance of the ideas and ideals of Jefferson, Madison, Lincoln and Dr. King?

The Old Right contended that America existed even before the Revolution, and that this new nation, this new people, wrote its own birth certificate, the Constitution. Before Washington, Madison and Hamilton ever went to Philadelphia, America existed.

What forced the premature birth of the nation — was the Revolution.

We did not become a new nation because we embraced Jefferson’s notion about all men being “created equal.” We became a new people from our familial break with the Mother Country, described in the declaration as a severing of ties with our “brethren” across the sea who no longer deserved our loyalty or love.

The United States came into being in 1789. The Constitution created the government, the state. But the country already existed.

The cuckservatives and Alt-Lite and neocons and melting potists are all, at heart, statists. They openly claim that the State, the political entity, the government, that was created in 1776, (or 1789 if you prefer) is the nation. The Old Right, and now the Alt-Right, know better. We know that it is We the People, the Posterity of the Founders, who are the nation.

The state is not the nation. The state can never be the nation, or the concepts of nation-state and multinational state and multicultural state would not exist.

Cuckservatism and conservatism, like liberalism and progressivism, requires the adherent to believe things he knows not to be true. That’s why they always – ALWAYS – end up playing fast-and-loose with definitions and resorting to obvious absurdities when pressed. Their intellectual foundations are built on sand.

Mailvox: women and SJWs

ER seeks advice on how to go about fighting female SJWs:

I just listened to your periscope today and had several epiphanies so thank you, I couldn’t be more thrilled you’re hoping to do more of them.

My conundrum is this, I can grasp and admire the gamer gate/Trump tactics and appreciate the explanations about rhetoric and dialectic (your blog inspired me to read Aristotle, Cernovich and Scott Adams). But most of what I see working for all of you guys doesn’t translate well into the more passive-aggressive ways of my social circles which are predominantly female.  It caught my attention when you said more people would witness the victories of Trump and Milo and see a way out…to follow their model of winning so we can stop losing. But even if I tried what you do with Scalzi…well maybe I’m just a wimp, but I can’t do it.  It’s too aggressive for me pull off.

I’ve tried to watch what other “red pill” women do on twitter and facebook, but the Anne Coulter model seems to work best for the strong, no-holds-barred ENTJ type of woman. As much as I respect or admire them, it doesn’t seem to work for the more average woman.

I would just stay quietly in the background except that I see SJWism taking over even my conservative christian and homeschooling circles.  Those of us moms who voted Trump or who could be described as AltWest try feebly to defend ourselves but we don’t do it well.

Any thoughts or tips on how women can engage in effective rhetoric? It seems we’ve found ourselves in this battle whether we want to be here or not.

If you can’t utilize the heavy artillery, then all that remains is to use the weapons that you are willing and able to use. Take the passive-aggressive tactics of your SJW enemies as a model and use them to pursue your own objectives. Engage in your own whisper campaigns. Exclude those whom you know to be on the other side. Behave like Mean Girls and Heathers to bully and badger the other women into complying to your will. Tear them down psychologically with little passive-aggressive comments and damn them with faint praise and back-handed compliments.

Anyone who is attacked has three choices: fight, submit, or run away. Now, no advice is going to help those who are simply going to submit or run away. The key is to understand that once you’re under assault, minding your own business ceases to be an option for you. Being left alone and going along to get along is no longer an option. You must accept that. Now, I’ve yet to see a woman who is totally incapable of getting nasty and passive-aggressive when sufficiently motivated, so I recommend that ER and other women in her position simply unleash their inner bitches and start fighting back using the natural weapons that God gave them.

If you don’t think you can do it, ask your husband. He might be able to refresh your memory and remind you of certain tactics that are clearly at your disposal.

Remember, these SJW women are attacking you, your organizations, your families, your children, and your way of life. They are attempting to destroy the things you value and love. If you were capable of tearing down girls in 8th grade because they were prettier than you were, or because Billy the quarterback liked Sherry the cheerleader better than you, you are certainly capable of fighting back in this situation too.

You don’t have to fight like me, or Milo, or Donald Trump. You probably can’t. And that’s fine, the important thing is to make up your mind to stand your ground and fight with what you have. The fact that you don’t have a mechsuit armed with nuclear missiles doesn’t mean you can’t smile nicely at an SJW and greet her with flowery words before driving a wooden stake into her heart.

Happy Robert E. Lee Day

From Men of the West:

Today, according to Google, is Robert E. Lee Day.    As proven in the screen shot above, Google’s desktop version is reporting the holiday not as honoring Martin Luther King Jr, but Robert E. Lee.

That would actually make for a potentially effective meme next year. Instead of celebrating the sacred martyr of an alien tribe, celebrate a true American and a heroic man of Virginia and the South.

Difensor occidens

An excellent and insightful speech by Vladimir Putin, which illustrates very clearly why the globalists and the anti-Western media are so desperate to attack both him and Russia.

A further challenge for the national Russian identity is connected to the processes we observe outside of Russia. They include foreign policy, moral, and other aspects. We see that many Euro-Atlantic states have taken the way where they deny or reject their own roots, including their Christian roots which form the basis of Western civilization.

In these countries, the moral basis and any traditional identity are being denied – national, religious, cultural, and even gender identities are being denied or relativised. There, politics treats a family with many children as juridically equal to a homosexual partnership; faith in God is equal to faith in Satan. The excesses and exaggerations of political correctness in these countries indeed leads to serious consideration for the legitimization of parties that promote the propaganda of paedophilia.

The people in many European states are actually ashamed of their religious affiliations and are indeed frightened to speak about them. Christian holidays and celebrations are abolished or “neutrally” renamed, as if one were ashamed of those Christian holidays. With this method one hides away the deeper moral value of those celebrations.

And these countries try to force this model onto other nations, globally. I am deeply convinced that this is a direct way to the degradation and primitivization of culture. This leds to deeper demographic and moral crisis in the West.

What can be better evidence for the moral crisis of human society in the West than the loss of its reproductive function? And today nearly all “developed” Western countries cannot survive reproductively, not even with the help of migrants.

Without the moral values that are rooted in Christianity and other world religions, without rules and moral values which have formed, and been developed, over millennia, people will inevitably lose their human dignity and become brutes. And we think it is right and natural to defend and preserve these Christian moral values.

One has to respect the right of every minority to self-determination, but at the same time there cannot and must not be any doubt about the rights of the majority.

At the same time as this process plays out at a national level in the West, we observe on an international level the attempts to create a unipolar, unified model of the world, to relativise and remove institutions of international rights and national sovereignty. In such a unipolar, unified world there is no place for sovereign states. Such a world needs merely vassals.

From a historical perspective, such a unipolar world would mean the surrender of one’s own identity and of God-created diversity.

No wonder they hate and fear him so. He is a true nationalist who is not afraid to stand up in defense of both Christianity and the West… and he has nukes. For those casting about for the true leader of the Alt-Right, there is a strong candidate.

Milo reviews Silenced

He gives himself 10 out of 10. And, he also happens to mention, as a brief aside, Mike Cernovich’s film isn’t bad either:

I feel compelled to set aside my trademark modesty in order to review Silenced, a new documentary in which I briefly appear. To get the most important thing out of the way, I rate my performance 10 MILOs out of 10.

Silenced was crowdfunded by producer and Twitter celebrity Mike Cernovich and director Loren Feldman to document the state of free speech in America. The timing couldn’t be better, as we’ve just witnessed Twitter attempting to purge the alt-right and various libertarian and conservative personalities from its platform as revenge for Donald Trump’s victory.

Several of the people who appear in Silenced were targeted in the purge, including Pax Dickinson and the pseudonymous Ricky Vaughn.

Silenced is a different type of documentary to Cassie Jaye’s The Red Pill, which I also examined recently. Jay’s movie told a specific story: her exploration and eventual sympathy with the men’s rights movement. Silenced takes a different approach, relying on its interview subjects to make the case for free speech.

Mike and Loren did a solid and professional job on an important subject, and they’ve paved the way for the Right to start fighting the culture war on a new front: film. Thanks very much to all of the VFM and Dread Ilk who helped them do it!

I’m in it too, by the way. I give myself 3 MILOs. Frankly, it was bordering on the miraculous that Loren managed to figure out a way to get me in there at all.

Thinking long term

The Men of the West have a structural plan that will thwart the Left’s strategy of using demographics to dominate US politics in the future:

We are told that demographic realities facing America mean the Right will soon find it impossible to compete with the left on the national stage.  We are told it is decided.   We are told it is inevitable.

Today I want to explain how, with just a few easy changes, we can ensure that the Left loses every presidential election for the next 50 years.

How could that be possible?  Its easier than you think.  For the answer… look to Maine.

What if Florida appointed its electoral votes by district the way Maine does rather than winner take all?   What if Illinois and California did?   The panhandle of Florida is as red as Alabama.  Rather than having its voice silenced in a winner take all election, their voices would be heard.  The same goes for the many red counties and districts of California.   Why should their voices be silenced by the shouting from the cities?

Let every voice truly count.

Why should the red districts of central Pennsylvania be relegated to none existence just because the state has two large blue cities?

Push measures through that apply electoral votes by congressional district rather than for the entire state.. and you will change politics in America for ever.  And states like Florida that are so equally split will be very easy to sell on this plan.  Because every election half of their population is being silenced.

This is, in a word, brilliant. The genius of the concept is that it can be pursued in a decentralized manner at the state level, it has the moral level of 4GW on its side as it more perfectly represents the democratic will of the people, and there is no effective rational or moral argument against it.

This is an idea that the God-Emperor and the Republican Party should strongly pursue after the election, when the Left is on its heels and reeling.

A rabbi tells his people to go home

“Jew, Go Home” at Men of the West:

So long as there are Jews in the world, Haman and Amalek will always find a way to justify their enmity and hatred. That is simply the way it is in this present world. My primary concern, however, lies elsewhere. My concern is with the willing defection from God and Torah-observance of my brethren, a defection which infuses the persecution of the Jews by the nations with plausibility.

Consequently, the sense of security and comfort of which many Jews in this country boast couldn’t be more illusory, hollow, and false. And the Jews who boast the loudest are often the ones who have shirked their duty as Jews with the greatest fervor, while imagining that they could buy the friendship of the nations and permanently secure that friendship by discarding everything that distinguishes them as Jews. In other words, they thought they could sell their birthright for a pot of stew and no one would notice, least of all God.

So, what has happened here in America? In no other place and in no other time have Jews failed to demonstrate to the nations how to live a life of Divine service more than here in America; here in America, where Jews have enjoyed the unprecedented benefits of citizenship, we have failed to show ourselves as loyal servants of God. Instead, we have fought to secure and maintain those benefits, in large part, by slackening our hands and diminishing our commitment to God and Torah observance.

For the most part, we have not related to American society in a very positive way. We have done very little to inspire our fellow-citizens to live righteously. Instead, we have advanced causes which are not only contrary to God and His ways, but we have also championed policies and lobbied on behalf of political agendas which have worked against the peace and prosperity of this nation whose welfare was supposed be our chief concern during our temporary sojourn here. Surely, there must be a reason that the phrase “What’s good for the goyim?” never embedded itself in the collective conscience of the non-Jewish world to which we have been exiled.

What the Jews of the West would do well to understand is that the men of the West are now entirely immune to their complaints about anti-semitism, their appeals to pity the poor homeless Jew, and their cries of historical persecution. The situation has changed. Christendom is once more an invaded warzone, and there is no longer any room for tolerating those who are in, but not of the West, especially those who are inclined to tolerate, and even sympathize, with the invaders. War is coming, and war seldom spares those who are not on one side or the other.

Furthermore, Jews once needed the refuge of the West. (And it was a refuge, obviously, that’s why they kept returning to Western lands after being periodically exiled from one after another.) But now, thanks to the charity of the West and the staunch courage of the early Zionists, Jews are no longer a landless, gypsy nation dependent upon the toleration of strangers. They have a national homeland, a strong, independent, militarily powerful country to call their own. Israelis do not cower and cry and complain about those who identify them, they are proud to stand before the world as men of Israel and Jews.

The rabbi is right. The Prime Minister of Israel is right. Are we seriously supposed to believe they are anti-semites and Jew-haters for advising other Jews to follow their example?

What is wrong with America?

According to the Men of the West, that is the wrong question for most of us:

Once our homes were changed, it was only a matter of time before everything changed.  But if you think this is a defeatist message, you are mistaken.  No.  It could not be less so.  Because as we look at all the problems of America and we ask ourselves, “What can I do?”  I want you to know that you can save it all.  You can fix it.  All of it.   Because you and I are what is wrong with America.   Our homes are what is wrong.

Now… you can’t fix the federal government.  You can’t fix the crime rates.   You can’t fix the school system or the justice system.  You can’t fix any of that.  That isn’t under your control.

But your home is under your control.  You can fix your home.   And if you fix your home, and I fix my home, then all of these other problems?  They fix themselves.

The battle is right in front of you.  The war for civilization is your family.

Do not ask what is wrong with America.

Ask what is wrong with your home.

Or to put it another way, the journey of a thousand leagues starts with a single step. Don’t worry about the destination for now. Take the first step.

And I have to admit, while I have contemplated the decline of the West from an architectural perspective – I utterly loathe all glass, steel, and box design – I’ve never once thought about it with regards to the single-family home.

In any event, before you can make America great again, you have to make yourself great again. I’m told Mike Cernovich has a few thoughts on how to go about doing that.

The Men of the West also identify what is wrong with most modern Christianity:

It is interesting and somewhat amusing to me that a vast majority of so-called Christians miss the most fundamental aspect of Christianity. And when you tell them what that is, many of them go off on indignant rants or flat out refuse to “believe” it.

They will sooner accuse you of lying or being wrong than bother to verify this simple fact, which takes ten seconds on google or using any Bible you may have at hand.

And what is this fundamental fact that is so shocking to these faux Christians? Simply this:

This planet, and in my opinion the entirety of what we refer to as the material, physical universe, falls under the domain of the Prince of the Air. The Father of Lies. The Prince of Darkness. The Serpent in the Garden of Eden. The Enemy. The Eternal Psychopath. First of the fallen Angels. Satan. Lucifer. Take your pick, after all, his names are Legion.

They are absolutely correct. There is no Problem of Evil with regards to Christianity. Quite the opposite, actually. Christianity is the explicit answer to the philosophical Problem of Evil. And there is no other religious or philosophical or scientific answer that even begins to address it as coherently, or as completely, as Christianity.

That, of course, is why the rational atheist, or indeed, any other logically consistent thinker who is not a Christian, has to deny that evil exists.
