Buzzfeed and the stolen emails

Buzzfeed apparently got their hands on some stolen emails of Milo’s, a few of which were his exchanges with me. As far as I’m concerned, that’s the most noteworthy aspect of today’s “expose” on Milo.

A year and a half ago, Milo Yiannopoulos set himself a difficult task: to define the alt-right. It was five months before Hillary Clinton named the alt-right in a campaign speech, 10 months before the alt-right’s great hope became president, and 17 months before Charlottesville clinched the alt-right as a stalking horse for violent white nationalism. The movement had just begun its explosive emergence into the country’s politics and culture.

At the time, Yiannopoulos, who would later describe himself as a “fellow traveler” of the alt-right, was the tech editor of Breitbart. In summer 2015, after spending a year gathering momentum through GamerGate — the opening salvo of the new culture wars — he convinced Breitbart upper management to give him his own section. And for four months, he helped Bannon wage what the Breitbart boss called in emails to staff “#war.” It was a war, fought story by story, against the perceived forces of liberal activism on every conceivable battleground in American life.

Yiannopoulos was a useful soldier whose very public identity as a gay man (one who has now married a black man) helped defend him, his anti-political correctness crusade, and his employer from charges of bigotry.

But now Yiannopoulos had a more complicated fight on his hands. The left — and worse, some on the right — had started to condemn the new conservative energy as reactionary and racist. Yiannopoulos had to take back “alt-right,” to redefine for Breitbart’s audience a poorly understood, leaderless movement, parts of which had already started to resist the term itself….

Over the next three days, Yiannopoulos passed the article back to Yarvin and the white nationalist Saucier, the latter of whom gave line-by-line annotations. He also sent it to Vox Day, a writer who was expelled from the board of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America for calling a black writer an “ignorant savage,” and to Alex Marlow, the editor of Breitbart.

“Solid, fair, and fairly comprehensive,” Vox Day responded, with a few suggestions.

“Most of it is great but I don’t want to rush a major long form piece like this,” Marlow wrote back. “A few people will need to weigh in since it deals heavily with race.”

Lawsy me! Tell me if you can see why I find the reference to me to be absolutely hilarious. Also, in case you haven’t been around here since 2013, the quote attributed to me is both incomplete and incorrect. I actually called SFWA’s affirmative action pet NK Jemisin, the columnist for the The New York Times Book Review and one of only three two-straight winners of the Hugo Award for Best Novel in science fiction history, “an educated, but ignorant half-savage, with little more understanding of what it took to build a new literature by “a bunch of beardy old middle-class middle-American guys” than an illiterate Igbotu tribesman has of how to build a jet engine.”

Just to be clear.

The rise of the real alternative

Senator-to-be Roy Moore is what the real alternative Right looks like. Anti-establishment, Christian, nationalist, and populist.

Firebrand jurist Roy Moore has won the Alabama Republican primary for U.S. Senate, defeating an appointed incumbent backed by President Donald Trump and allies of Sen. Mitch McConnell. In an upset likely to rock the party establishment, Moore clinched victory Tuesday over Sen. Luther Strange to win the GOP nomination for the Senate seat previously held by Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Moore will face Democrat Doug Jones in a Dec. 12 special election.

Moore is the state’s former chief justice who was twice removed from his duties for defying federal courts over same-sex marriage and the public display of the Ten Commandments. Propelled by evangelical voters, Moore consolidated support from a number of anti-establishment forces, including former White House strategist Steve Bannon.

Incumbent Sen. Luther Strange wished jurist Roy Moore well after losing the Alabama Republican primary for Senate. Strange told his supporters Tuesday night that “we wish (Moore) well going forward.”

But he quickly shifted to his own bewilderment at the race he just finished. “We’re dealing with a political environment that I’ve never had any experience with,” he said. “I’m telling you, the political seas and winds in this country right now … are very hard to navigate, very hard to understand.”

And this is why it is a mistake for the Alt Lite to fear accepting the Alt-Right label. The failed attempts of Richard Spencer, Greg Johnson, and Andrew Anglin to “brand” it as their own preferred ideology are no more significant than the attempts of the media to brand it as National Socialism.

But it doesn’t matter what it is called. You can’t kill an inevitable philosophy with guilt-by-association. The conservative movement has failed. The libertarian movement has failed. The neo-liberal world order has failed. Multiculturalism has failed. Civic nationalism has failed.

An alternative Right is the only possible alternative to the failed right-wing ideologies and philosophies of the past. The label is irrelevant, what is clear is that whatever it is is an alternative, it is Right, and it is winning.

Notice that Roy Moore has seen considerably more setbacks than the average individual. He has seen far more pressure and opposition from the Republican and media establishments, and been literally discredited and disqualified. But now he is very likely to be the next Senator from Alabama, because the Alt-Right is inevitable.

The Right rises

As I have been saying for several years, the rise of the Nationalist Right around the world is absolutely and utterly inevitable. Communism has failed. The Neo-Liberal Global Order has failed. Multiculturalism has failed. Diversity is a curse, not a blessing or a strength. Immigration is war.

The only promise of order and civilization is now with the Right, not the moderate conservative Right of the Conservative Party and the Republican Party and the Christian Democrats, but the Alternative Right of Alternativ fur Deutschland, the True Finns, Jobbik, the Sweden Democrats, the Front National, the Swiss People’s Party, Brexit, and, to a certain extent, Donald Trump. They are collectively the real AltRight, the genuine alternative, the true Right.

Chancellor Angela Merkel clinched a fourth term in Germany’s election Sunday, but her victory was clouded by the entry into parliament of the hard-right AfD in the best showing for a nationalist force since World War II.

Merkel, who after 12 years in power held a double-digit lead for most of the campaign, scored around 33 percent of the vote with her conservative Christian Union (CDU/CSU) bloc, according to preliminary results. It was their worst score since 1949.

Its nearest rivals, the Social Democrats and their candidate Martin Schulz, came in a distant second, with a post-war record low of 21 percent.

But in a bombshell for the German establishment, the anti-Islam, anti-immigration Alternative for Germany (AfD) captured around 13 percent, catapulting it to become the country’s third biggest political force.

Commentators called the AfD’s strong performance a “watershed moment” in the history of the German republic. The top-selling Bild daily spoke of a “political earthquake”.

As I have repeatedly written, the chief ideological divide is no longer Left versus Right, but globalist versus nationalist. And by nationalist, I most certainly do not include pan-white, transnational imperialists. There is no longer any intellectual space for the soft globalism of pan-ethnic imperialism, which in both theory and practice serves the globalist interests.

Ideas must be sold

The Z-man observes that too many ideologues resist accepting the fact that their ideas have to be sold rather than simply accepted as holy writ from on high:

Good salesmen never lose sight of reality. That’s the problem with outsider political movements. They allow themselves to be trapped in narrow ideological ruts so any sales effort, that deviates in the slightest from dogma, results in civil war. The only pitchmen the ideologues accept are the guys waving around the severed hand, talking about how their product is great at cleaning blood stains. Any concession to public sensibilities is treated like heresy. The result is a self-ghettoization of the movement.

This has always been the problem with the libertarians. You can get a large audience in favor of limiting state regulation of commerce, but you are never getting a critical mass around the idea of abandoning paper money. You can talk people into loosening up marijuana laws, but no one is signing up for legal meth sales. That’s why the limit on libertarians is to have some of their language appropriated by Buckleyites. Otherwise, they are seen as a collection of eccentric weirdos.

That’s what’s happening with the alt-right and its fellow travelers. The core believers refuse to give in on basic tactics, like banning Nazi gear or minimizing the JQ stuff. The result is anyone that tries to soften the image is attacked as a traitor. That’s what you see with the Stormies. Anglin can’t accept even the token compromises at a site like Gab, so he goes to war with it. This ensures that his followers never stray from the ghetto that he has created for them. It also means potential recruits have a reason to ignore him.

This does not mean the alt-right is condemned to having fat guys in their tighty-whities, dancing around at their events. To avoid that fate, they need to produce leaders with the credibility to swat down guys like Anglin, when he gets out of control, but also aware of the fact that growing the movement means appealing to the general public. That means softening the pitch and making some compromises. They don’t have anyone capable of doing that at he moment, but they better find some.

He’s absolutely right. That’s why I reluctantly accepted the need to move into video despite the existence of Castalia House; I realized that we will never reach the non-literate majority through the medium of books. We have to speak their language and meet them on their ground. We need to accept that our preferences are irrelevant in this regard.

This is always difficult. The literate don’t want to deal with non-literate media. The dialectic-speakers don’t want to deal with rhetoric. The non-aggressive don’t want to deal with aggression. The socialists don’t want to deal with subjective value. The pagans don’t want to deal with the Christian roots of the West.

But regardless of who we are and what we desire, we have to take reality as it is, not as we wish it to be.

Real Alt Right

It’s incredibly informative that one of the most devastating accusations that the Fake Right Swastika Wearing Jackasses can imagine is that I stand by my friends and allies. Pop quiz: what can we safely conclude about the socio-sexual rank of people who consider doing so to be, not only a negative, but one so damaging as to be meme-worthy?

Milo stood by me when I made a media misstep that angered people at Breitbart. I stood by Milo when the media attempted to crucify him for his Joe Rogan interview and he lost his book deal with Simon & Schuster. That’s what friends and allies do, even when the other individual is flawed, imperfect, or behaves in a suboptimal manner. And only a fool or a social reject abandons people over mere differences of opinion or the occasional moral failure.

To say nothing of TVT. Anyhow, it has become abundantly clear that we right-wing omni-nationalists are the Real Alternative Right, the True Right. Because the Fake Right Clowns are not of the Right, do not believe in the Right-Left spectrum, and even openly claim that the historical ideological Right is entirely irrelevant today. Which, of course, is precisely what makes them frauds and charlatans when they attempt to market themselves as “right-wing” in order to appeal to young conservatives and libertarians, as well as disenchanted young liberals and leftists.

The Fake Right is every bit as deceitful and false as CNN. And they utilize the same “guilt-by-association” tactics as the mainstream media.

As for me, you can always expect me to stand by my friends, allies, authors, and readers. Even when they make mistakes. Especially when they make mistakes.

Lies, deceit, and rhetoric

In last night’s Darkstream, I explained why there is no “us” when it comes to the Fake Right and the genuine Right. It’s not a question of rhetoric. Rhetoric is not intrinsically dishonest. It can be, but as we are instructed, rhetoric is most effective when it is enlisted in the service of the truth. Jesus Christ was not lying when he described the Pharisees as “white-washed tombs” and “serpents” and the “offspring of vipers”. He was not speaking dialectic, he was utilizing rhetoric to illustrate their emptiness and dishonesty.

But lies and deceit are always and intrinsically dishonest. Such dishonesties may be necessary at times, when one is forced to make a choice between two evils, but they can never serve as a core strategy for any movement that is genuinely on the side of the good, the right, the white, and the true.

These selections from the Anglin Style Guide demonstrates that not only are these people not on our side, they are not to be trusted by anyone, ever. There is so little truth in them, and so much intentional deceit, that I don’t think even their claimed purpose of “saving the white race” can necessarily be taken at face value.

PRIME DIRECTIVE: ALWAYS BLAME THE JEWS FOR EVERYTHING

As Hitler says in Mein Kampf, people will become confused and disheartened if they feel there are multiple enemies. As such, all enemies should be combined into one enemy, which is the Jews. This is pretty much objectively true anyway, but we want to leave out any and all nuance.

So no blaming Enlightenment though, pathological altruism, technology/urbanization, etc. – just blame Jews for everything.

This basically includes blaming Jews for the behavior of other non-Whites. Of course it should not be that they are innocent, but the message should always be that if we didn’t have the Jews we could figure out how to deal with non-Whites very easily.

The same deal with women. Women should be attacked, but there should always be mention that if it wasn’t for the Jews, they would be acting normally.

What should be completely avoided is the sometimes mentioned idea that “even if we got rid of the Jews we would still have all these other problems.” The Jews should always be the beginning and the end of every problem, from poverty to poor family dynamics to war to the destruction of the rainforest.

LULZ

The unindoctrinated should not be able to tell if we are joking or not…. This is obviously a ploy and I actually do want to gas kikes. But that’s neither here nor there.

POSITIVITY

We should always claim we are winning, and should celebrate any wins with extreme exaggeration. This does not mean we downplay the enemy, just that we play up ourselves. We overestimate our influence.

We should always be on the lookout for any opportunity to grab media attention. It’s all good. No matter what. The most obvious way to do this is to troll public figures and get them to whine about it. I keep thinking this will stop working eventually, but it just never does.

Just as we mustn’t present multiple enemies, we mustn’t leave any room for nuance in any other area. To the entent that it is physically possible, everything should be painted in completely black and white terms. DEHUMANIZATION

There should be a conscious agenda to dehumanize the enemy, to the point where people are ready to laugh at their deaths. So it isn’t clear that we are doing this – as that would be a turnoff to most normal people – we rely on lulz.

ATTACKING MAINSTREAM SHILLS

Pro-Jew shills should be attacked. These include Alex Jones, Gavin McInnes and Milo. At the same time, they should also be accused/celebrated as secret Nazis whenever they post anything that lines up with our agenda.

As you see, not unlike SJWs, Swastika-Wearing Jackasses are also prone to lying. Of course, as is the case with SJW projection, their very strategies inform us how we can effectively respond to them. Every time they claim a victory, praise them for being good little Stormpoopers and “celebrating the win with extreme exaggeration”. Every time they claim to be important or the most-trafficked site in the history of the Internet, praise them for remembering to “overestimate their influence.”

If they whine about being attacked and ask you why, keep the answer short and succinct: “because you are evil and your Alinsky-inspired strategy is literally satanic.” At the end of the day, that is sufficient cause to reject them, no matter what their professed objectives may be.

And when they try to run Jon Stewart’s “clown nose on, clown nose off” game and start posturing about how you’re just too old to grasp “the lulz”, you would do well to remind them that you are aware the lulz are only there to hide the fact that they are actively seeking to dehumanize people and inure others to their deaths.

Debate: National Socialism II

DEBATE: Andrew Anglin vs Vox Day on National Socialism (Saturday 11 am NYC Time)

So, that was slightly less of a clown show than I expected. Although it was the first debate I’ve seen that the moderator lost. One thing I thought was interesting was the way Anglin did not reveal his Google pageviews. Based on the difference between his pre-prepared statement and his ability to argue from it, I would guess that several people were involved in writing it.

He provided a few informative statements. I don’t recall them all, but I did note these:

  • “Nobody cares about the historical context of left and right.”
  • “Everything that Hitler did served to support the order of nature.”
  • “Liberalism was invented by Jews.”
  • “I have never commented on your blog.”
  • “Everywhere I look, behind every problem I have, I see hook nosed jews.”

In my opinion, the actual debate ended here:

AA: Understanding Right wing is preservation of the natural order through tradition. Left wing is the push for equality to override the natural order.
VD: NSADAP Munich Manifesto, Point 9. All citizens must possess equal rights and duties.

While the meta-debate ended here:

AA: Don’t be Vox Day, Don’t attack people on the same side as you.
VD: We’re not on the same side.

My favorite take: “It’s just bad PR for Vox Day, even if his rant was correct and Hitler was left wing, that has literally nothing to do with Andrew Anglin.”

True enough. I can’t argue with that.

Nazi = anti-white

One of the great ironies of the Alt-Reich is that they claim to be National Socialists, some “ironically”, some not so much, while also claiming that “saving the white race” is their primary goal. However, this is akin to ants claiming that dressing up as anteaters and eating other ants is the way to save the ant species.

First, Hitler thought more highly of both the Asians and the Arabs than he did of most non-German whites. Second, the National Socialists actually planned to murder a statistically significant percentage of the white race, around 20 percent of it.

Generalplan Ost was the name of the project, which was intended to slaughter white people. Specifically, about 60 percent of all the Russians, Estonians, Latvians, Czechs, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Poles, and Lithuanians were to be killed or “deported” to Western Siberia. The Nazis literally planned to murder tens of millions of white people, but were prevented from doing so by losing the war to the untermensch Russians and the mischling Americans.

The National Socialists planned to eliminate the Czechs. Like her.

The Generalplan Ost, abbreviated GPO, was the Nazi German government’s plan for the genocide and ethnic cleansing on a vast scale, and colonization of Central and Eastern Europe by Germans. There is nothing “pro-white” about National Socialism of any kind. Indeed, in light of the results of the Soviet occupation of Eastern Europe, it is clear that Communism, for all its tremendous flaws, is in practice more objectively pro-white than National Socialism.

Which is why anyone who claims to be a Nazi is intrinsically and always anti-white. The German National Socialist Worker’s Party was German supremacist imperialism, and as such, should be opposed by anyone who agrees with the ideas laid out in the 16 Points of the Alternative Right. I know there are a number of young men who don’t know much about history, who are rightly concerned about the future of their people, but they need to learn their history, learn their culture, and realize that running around playing Fake Right Clown Nazi bantzing for the lulz will accomplish less than nothing in that regard.

Work out. Dress better. Get a job. Talk to a pretty girl. Read the Bible. Get married. Have children. Any one of those acts would be more genuinely revolutionary, and accomplish more towards saving the white race, than spending the next ten years Swastika Panty-larping.

Taking down the Fake Right

On Wednesday, September 6th at 7 PM Eastern, I’m going to be debating Andrew Anglin, the Fake Right phony behind the Daily Stormer, on whether National Socialism is of the ideological Right or Left.

One of the various Anglins had been repeatedly crying about being shut out of the chat when I debated Greg Johnson on the same subject, so, being the kindest of Dark Lords, I graciously decided to give Mr. Anglin the opportunity to do the same. He accepted, despite many of his fans claiming that he was too busy, or too important, to do so.

Tara McCarthy will host and a similar format will be utilized. Since I have already made a public case with which at least one Anglin is familiar, he will have the opportunity to go first.

These Fake Right individuals are nothing more than attention-seekers trying to utilize the Jon Stewart strategy of hiding behind their clownishness whenever they are called out. They erroneously believe their popularity will protect them, and fail to recognize that their much-cherished “brands” are of no interest or importance to those who are only interested in the truth and philosophical coherence.

To paraphrase the man himself, Andrew Anglin is just a crybaby who can’t take the heat. He asked for it and it serves him right. He didn’t understand how the interwebs worked and he paid the price.

Some of the more interesting responses to my offer of a debate. It is more evidence of Vox’s First Law in action. What I find particularly amusing is the way the Swastika Parrots so often regurgitate certain terms in a manner that indicates they have no grasp of what the words they are using actually mean.

I’ll pass, thanks. Mike has a right to say whatever he thinks of me. And I’m not interested in his opinion, least of all concerning a subject I know superlatively well. I see no need to listen to his criticism much less respond to it.
RD informed us that “the TRS guys were quite unhappy that you pointed out Spencer isn’t of the Right.”

In their latest podcast, TDS185 (which is paywalled), they spent from 1h:27m – 1h:44m railing against you (and Cernovich), as they feel betrayed.  They talk about how they respected your work, but that they believe you’ve turned on them since the unfortunate events in Charlottesville.
I can’t help but kind of like those guys.  They’re funny, and they have a lot of energy and have reached a lot of people. But Mike Enoch simply refuses to accept that their cock-up in Charlottesville provided a pretext for the current wave of literal iconoclasm and grave desecration.  And they really don’t have a firm intellectual understanding of actual National Socialism and why it’s defunct.
At the same time, they say they’ve accepted your advice that Nazi flags and so forth are bad optics, and must be avoided.  But they don’t credit you with it.

The truth is what it is. This sort of “Jenny, did you hear what Billy said about Suzy” drama is of zero interest to me. I don’t know what they said. I don’t care what they said. I’m not attempting to curry favor with them or with anyone.
I’ve never been a movement guy. I don’t play particularly well with others, in part because I simply try to do what I think is right at the time. I don’t worry at all about what X is going to think about my opinion of Y. I stand by my friends, not because I agree with them or I believe their ideology to be flawless, but because they are my friends. That may not be enough for you, but it’s enough for me.
Also, I would point out that I have been the object of considerably more criticism than I have meted out. I’m not offering that as an excuse or a reason because it is neither; the criticism was merited regardless of the source. But I do think it suffices to dismiss the idea that I have betrayed anyone.
