No confidence, no deal

The Tories are holding a no-confidence vote in the traitorous Remainer Theresa May tonight:

Theresa May vowed to fight with ‘everything I’ve got’ today after a Tory no-confidence vote was dramatically triggered – and will be held within hours.

The PM said she would not give up after Eurosceptics secured the 48 letters from MPs needed to force a ballot that could end the PM’s time as leader.

In a defiant speech on the steps of Downing Street, she warned Brexit would need to be delayed beyond March 29 if she loses and Jeremy Corbyn might end up in power.

‘I have devoted myself unsparingly since I became Prime Minister… and I stand ready to finish the job,’ she said. ‘A change of leadership in the Conservative party now will put our country’s future at risk, and create uncertainty when we can least afford it.

‘The new leader wouldn’t have time to renegotiate a new Withdrawal Agreement and get the legislation through parliament by March 29, so one of their first acts would have to be extending or rescinding Article 50, delaying or even stopping Brexit when people want us to get on with it.’

Sir Graham Brady, the chair of the powerful 1922 committee, emerged this morning to announce the threshold of 48 letters had been ‘exceeded’ and Mrs May was eager to resolve the issue ‘rapidly’.

He said the PM’s reaction when he notified her last night had been ‘business like’ and she will deliver a make-or-break speech to MPs at 5pm before voting begins an hour later. The crucial result will be declared as soon as counting finishes.

More fake news. The best result is a no-confidence vote, a new Tory leader, and a no-deal Brexit. It’s shameful, but entirely predictable, that May refuses to resign. The woman has no honor; even David Cameron looks like a statesman in comparison.

No new Withdrawal Agreement is going to be agreed, nor is parliament going to vote for her terrible Brexit deal anyhow.

That answers that question

In last night’s Darkstream, I was asked repeatedly about someone called “Michael Knowles”. I’ve never heard of the man, but I was immediately dubious because he was being praised because he “owns the libs”. It would appear my instincts were entirely correct:

The Daily Wire headquarters in Los Angeles, located on the second floor of a vaguely art deco building in Sherman Oaks, is more reminiscent of a high-end television studio than a dingy online start-up. The lobby is lined with monitors advertising Daily Wire shows, millennials chug La Croix in a well-appointed kitchen, and a full-time makeup artist is always on call. Each of the meticulously designed and personalized sets are stuffed with enough high-end cameras, soundproofing, and lighting equipment to rival the best cable-news studios—a significant investment for online shows. Currently, the site has four personalities that are promoted regularly: Andrew Klavan, an old crank they brought over from Truth Revolt; Michael Knowles, a dapper, lib-triggering troll; Matt Walsh, a dour, self-described “extremist” Christian raging against the crassness of pop-culture; and Shapiro himself. Once a month, Boreing hosts a live show in his office—an elegant man cave featuring studio lighting, a massive cigar humidor, and several overstuffed leather armchairs—where he, the crew, and a special guest smoke cigars and shoot the shit. Though the studios are Hollywood, the content is decidedly not: in one recent Daily Wire Backstage show, for instance, the hosts discussed Judeo-Christian theology, religious history, and the pathology of the sort of perpetually aggrieved liberal who thinks Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is politically incorrect. (The War on Christmas is apparently alive and well in the San Fernando Valley.)

These guys are all well-funded frauds. Think about this: why do these nobodies and non-entities keep popping up? Who is funding their Facebook and YouTube placement? Who is buying their Twitter followers. Why do they inevitably oppose nationalism and Donald Trump? Why do they constantly lie about “Judeo-Christianity”.

None of it – literally none of it – is organic or natural. Ben Shapiro is still trying to act as if he’s all about ideas, well, read his columns or his books! They are qualitatively little different from the Republican talking point columns he used to write at WND when he was a teenage political prodigy. There are no new ideas there, to the contrary, it’s been the same boilerplate for nearly 20 years.

What Vanity Fair is trying to do here is the same thing that the New York Times tried to do with the “Intellectual Dark Web”. They’re attempting to anoint their approved opposition, they are trying to choose the roster of the Washington Generals.

Fake (((conservatives)))

They can’t even manage a halfway-convincing charade any longer:

The Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin had just finished speaking on a panel about the “Lessons Learned” from the 2016 election Tuesday morning when this reporter joined the line of well-wishers who were handing her business cards and asking for coffee dates.

Rubin, who has been criticized by a number of conservatives for not actually espousing conservative ideas and principles, spoke on a panel sponsored by the Niskanen Center in Washington DC about how those on the Right have “wildly exaggerated” the problems with U.S. immigration. She also said the Republican Party exhibits a “blind spot towards race,” and that it “needs a new base” after it was infiltrated by Dixiecrats with the rise of Donald Trump. Rubin was joined by Bill Kristol and Peter Wehner, who agreed the right has been corrupted by Trump primarily because of the fringe racists who became mainstream within the GOP….

After the panel discussion had ended, I asked Rubin if she still considers herself to be conservative, to which she replied: “Yes, but I think the rest of the party has gone insane.”

When I tried to ask her what conservative principles she holds, she said that she “had to run” and turned away from me to continue walking down the aisle to greet other attendees.

Rubin and Kristol should be awarded their Intellectual Dark Web jumpsuits. They’ve already got the “incessantly gossiping to each other about people who aren’t there” routine down pat.

Darkstream: Jordanetics Rule 01

In this Darkstream, I address the First Rule of the 12-Rule Path, stand up straight with your shoulders back, and explain its true meaning as laid out in Jordan Peterson’s actual text. From the transcript:

There is something to the fact that the way you carry yourself, the way you stand, does communicate your position in the social hierarchy, but that’s not the point of this chapter. Posture has nothing to do with it, bullying has nothing to do with the realm of oppression or the realm of tyranny, and so what the first principle, the first real principle of Jordanetics is, is to be mediocre.

You don’t want to stay at the bottom, but you also don’t want to rise too far. And so the purpose of the book Jordanetics, one of the purposes of my book, is to explain to people who either haven’t read the books – you would be shocked at how many of Jordan Peterson’s fans have never actually read his book, they might own it, but they don’t read it because, frankly, it’s not very well-written – or have read it but haven’t properly understood it, that the first rule, the real first rule of Jordanetics is to be mediocre. And I do not believe that is a good rule for life. I think that that is a very negative rule for life and it is not helpful.

Macron’s concessions to the Yellow Vests has failed to appease protesters and opposition politicians, such as Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who called for “citizen’s revolution” to continue until a fair distribution of wealth is achieved. Immediately after French President Macron declared a “social and economic state of emergency” in response to large-scale protests by members of the Yellow Vest movement, promising a range of concessions to address their grievances, left-wing opposition politician Mélenchon called on the grassroots campaign to continue their revolution next Saturday.

It is informative that the professional Left appears to be trying to make itself the public face of the Yellow Vest movement. This is the same thing that the professional Conservative Movement successfully did to the Tea Party, leaping to the head of the parade in order to divert it and dissipate its momentum. They are seeking to make it an economic protest rather than a nationalist one.

If only he had cucked

Why, oh why, didn’t Gavin McInnes just try cucking and virtue-signaling and disavowing? Then surely he would not have been SJW-swarmed and banned from YouTube, right?

Alt-right commentator and Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes is now banned from YouTube for “multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement,” according to the company. At the time of the ban, McInnes, who also co-founded Vice Media in 1994 prior to his involvement with numerous nationalist causes, had over 200,000 subscribers. It is not clear which videos on McInnes’ channel led to the ban, but YouTube confirmed that the channel had exceeded the threshold for copyright strikes, leading to a “repeat offender” ban.

Oh, wait….

The Lobster Cult is shook

It’s rather like watching little children being told that their beloved father is leaving their mother to go live as a drag queen in Las Vegas with his boyfriend.

“No, it’s not true! IT’S NOT TRUE! IT CAN’T BE TRUE! YOU’RE LYING!”

I didn’t watch the whole thing, but my favorite was the hapless guy with the weird teeth who doesn’t want to debate the subject or dignify any of the many charges with an answer. These losers couldn’t argue or debate their way out of a paper bag with a hole in the bottom. They can’t even accept the obvious fact that their Lobster Pope is a hard-core globalist and UN sherpa.

I’m particularly amused at the notion that QUOTING A MAN DIRECTLY is “borderline slanderous,” meanwhile they’re defending a mentally ill man who claims that group identity is pathological before blatantly lying about entire groups of people. Forget imputations of slander, forget what I wrote in the book, I suspect that the man is considerably worse than even those who were convinced by the case presented in Jordanetics imagine.

Anyhow, the reason people like this are starting to try to criticize the book is that it is convincing more and more Peterson fans that the man is evil and anti-Christian every day. And they will fail, because they follow a man who is habitual, if not pathological, liar as well as a servant of evil.

Macron makes an offer

I tend to doubt this attempt to buy off the left-wing of the Yellow Vests will work, since it falls well short of him resigning:

French president Emmanuel Macron tonight announced a range of dramatic Socialist-style financial concessions to struggling workers so as to end an ‘economic and social state of emergency’.

In a TV address lasting 12 minutes, he said a month of rioting and blockades justified a €100 (£90) increase in the minimum wage, taking it to €1498 (£1360).

This will not ‘cost anything to the employer’, said Mr Macron, and will be accompanied by all taxes and other charges on overtimes being scrapped.

There were also be an end-of-year bonus that employers can pay without being charged by the government, while taxes on those earning less than €2000 (£1800) will also end on January 1.

Mr Macron also ruled out any return of the Solidarity Wealth Tax, saying that he wanted to stop rich entrepreneurs ‘moving abroad’, so preventing ‘job creation’.

The extraordinarily generous package of measures represents a massive U-turn by Mr Macron who originally said he would not yield to rioting as he tried to liberalise the sluggish France economy.

He’s showing weakness. This is not the time to declare victory and go home, it’s the time to press harder. Notice that he’s appealing to the union leaders; the leaders are always the weak point.
