God gives us all different gifts, and one of mine happens to be the love of the fray and the joy of seizing up the enemy and searching for a way to defeat him.

On Sunday, a woman by the name of Cynthia Naugle sought to come forward with a story of abuse and sexual misconduct she had received in the past from an unnamed comic book creator. Naugle tweeted out a link to her personal blogspot page, wherein she recounted her story for the public. Naugle details many instances of mental abuse, sexual coercion, and sexual harassment she received from the individual in question…. While Naugle did not directly name her abuser, it was not long before members of the public were able to parse through the few identifying traits Naugle had discussed in her post to discover the identity of her alleged abuser: Eric M. Esquivel, current writer of Border Town for DC Comics.
It’s rather remarkable to observe that Arkhaven is targeted for media hit pieces and deplatforming while our competitors are literally running around sexually assaulting people without facing any similar treatment. This isn’t exactly the first contributor to DC Comics who has been accused of this sort of behavior.
Perhaps we should start advertising our comics as being “rape-free” and add a sticker noting “no women were sexually assaulted during the production of this comic book”.

In a 55-page opinion, U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor ruled that last year’s tax cut bill knocked the constitutional foundation from under “Obamacare” by eliminating a penalty for not having coverage. The rest of the law cannot be separated from that provision and is therefore invalid, he wrote.

I Know You’re in Pain Woodworking commenters aren’t good at masking their IP addresses. It’s easy to learn the identities of anonymous wanks with a little sleuthing. I tracked down a few of the most vile commenters on my blog and (with some additional reporting using public records) learned something interesting. Most of these people were suffering from some serious physical ailment. Many were taking painkillers and dealing with a level of pain that will make any human angry and bitter.
One thing he doesn’t mention is the idiot platform-hijackers whose comments are not welcome, but simply will not stay away because they are so desperate to try to make use of someone else’s platform rather than build their own. I’m now utilizing a new tactic of deleting their comment but leaving it up for future reference, so that I will preserve a public record of their repeated cyberstalking for use in criminal complaints. It also has the useful feature of showing other commenters just how persistent the platform-hijackers are.
But despite the various irritants, I’ve never seriously thought about shutting down this blog, to be honest. The comments, yes, many times, but not the blog itself. That being said, it’s astonishing to me that after 15 years, the people at Blogger still have not provided a simple system for blocking specified names and text strings, and that none of the other comment systems really have either.
China will become first country to land on the Moon for 37 years when its rover touches down on Saturday. The unmanned craft ‘Chang’e-3’ is expected to land at 3pm GMT on a lava plain known as the Bay of Rainbows. It has been travelling since December 2.
It will make China one of only three nations, after the United States and the former Soviet Union, to ‘soft-land’ on the Moon’s surface.
Probes and missiles have been fired at the Moon to take readings and throw dust into the atmosphere, but no space programme has attempted to land since the Russians sent a rover to collect soil samples in 1976.
The Chinese claim they are looking for natural resources such as rare metals. But US Apollo astronauts Eugene Cernan and ‘Buzz Aldrin’ have pointed out that the landing module is far bigger than needed to carry a rover and believe it may be a trial run for a human landing. US scientists have also expressed concern that the mission could skew the results of a NASA study of the Moon’s dust environment.
Chinese officials have already stated that they are keen to send humans to the Moon, in what would be the first manned lunar missions since the US Apollo programme in the 1960s and 1970s.
So much for the idea that all the tremendously advanced technology of the 1960s has been lost forever, rendering any future such attempts impossible. What I think would be absolutely hilarious is NASA ends up accusing the Chinese space program of faking its future manned Moon landings.
Now THAT would make for a great comedic conspiracy movie.

Anticipating a fifth straight weekend of violent protests, Paris’ police chief said Friday that armored vehicles and thousands of officers will be deployed again in the French capital this weekend.

A sixth “yellow vest” protester was killed this week, hit by a truck at a protest roadblock. Despite calls from authorities urging protesters — who wear the fluorescent safety vests that France requires drivers to keep in their cars — to stop the protests, the movement rocking the country has showed no signs of abating.
It will be informative to see who cracks first, the globalist government or the nationalist protesters. It’s pretty clear that the latter aren’t inclined to follow their government-appointed leadership.

I tend to doubt that a series of murders by a second-generation immigrant is going to reduce the intensity of the nationalist protests.

I found this quite chilling, as a mere week ago, and very shortly after the book was released, such an institution appears to have been founded. There is also the typical (and creepy) All-Seeing-Eye symbolism on their website, and a very messianic image of Peterson.

Seriously, what are the chances that despite the various anomalies and falsehoods that have been exposed and uncovered concerning these events over the years, that what remains is the pure, unvarnished truth? That is simply ludicrous. It is theoretically possible, but given what we know about the vagaries of human nature, it is extremely improbable. Totally false. I wrote about my skepticism concerning the Official Story of the Moon landings 12 years ago. Now, I have not said that the Moon landings were a hoax, I have only observed that I do not believe the Official Story concerning them. I don’t know what people are lying about or the full extent of their lies and deception, I only know that the Official Story is not entirely true. That does not mean it is entirely false.
Great. We send people here, people on the cusp of some important realizations and recognitions. We tell them “read, critically of course, but with an open mind.” And they come back and look at us pityingly and say “you mean read the guy who says the moon landings were faked?” As a strategy of separation, this is not going to yield the group you want.

Now, I don’t know why three of the greatest heroes of humanity are behaving in such a deceptive and shady manner after accomplishing one of the greatest, if not the greatest feats in the recorded history of Man. I don’t know what they are hiding, or what it is that they are so obviously attempting to avoid saying. Owen Benjamin has proposed one potential explanation, others have provided a wide variety of other possibilities. I don’t even pretend to know which is correct; I am genuinely agnostic on the subject. But one thing I have observed through my studies of history is that the objective truth that holds up over time very often diverges from both the Official Story as well as the primary alternative theories posited by the skeptics.
And since I don’t believe the GDP figures that are released by the U.S. government on a regular basis, and I don’t accept any of the various justifications that are offered for its various foreign adventures, why would you ever expect me to believe everything the U.S. government says about its historical accomplishments?
