The end of the Conservative Party?

This isn’t a protest vote. This isn’t the European elections. This is an actual vote for a Member of Parliament. The stupid stubbornness of the Remainers in the Conservative Party and their false appeals to the absolute need for EU approval in the name of a deal may end up relegating the party to third-party status.

Predictions based on the latest polls show the Conservatives losing 264 seats, which would mean they wouldn’t even win enough seats in Parliament to give the Brexit Party a majority in a coalition government.

Oh, the irony. The anklebiters who have been attacking Owen and I for creating Unauthorized have belatedly discovered why we created it in the first place.

Just to be clear, neither Owen nor I, nor any of our supporters, had anything whatsoever to do with their demonetization. We’ve just ignored them; the simple fact is that they fucked up, they trusted YouTube.

UPDATE: Apparently some people are under the mistaken impression that I reported the anklebiters. I did not do so, and in fact, I have never, ever, reported any YouTube channel to anyone for anything. If I had reported their numerous copyright violations, they would have received three strikes and their channel would be terminated, not simply demonetized. As it happens, I had three videos deleted myself in the most recent YouTube purge.

The dysgenic civilization

I’ve been warning about the decline of human intelligence for some time now. And contra the uninformed assumptions of the author of the piece, the average intelligence of the residents of the United States has been dropping precipitously for 50 years:

People are getting dumber. That’s not a judgment; it’s a global fact. In a host of leading nations, IQ scores have started to decline.

Though there are legitimate questions about the relationship between IQ and intelligence, and broad recognition that success depends as much on other virtues like grit, IQ tests in use throughout the world today really do seem to capture something meaningful and durable. Decades of research have shown that individual IQ scores predict things such as educational achievement and longevity. More broadly, the average IQ score of a country is linked to economic growth and scientific innovation.

So if IQ scores are really dropping, that could not only mean 15 more seasons of the Kardashians, but also the potential end of progress on all these other fronts, ultimately leading to fewer scientific breakthroughs, stagnant economies and a general dimming of our collective future….Details vary from study to study and from place to place given the available data. IQ shortfalls in Norway and Denmark appear in longstanding tests of military conscripts, whereas information about France is based on a smaller sample and a different test. But the broad pattern has become clearer: Beginning around the turn of the 21st century, many of the most economically advanced nations began experiencing some kind of decline in IQ.

There are two reasons. First and foremost, immigration. Second, dysgenic social policies discouraging the most intelligent quintile from propagating. The 20th century involved more than a rejection of eugenics across the West, it also witnessed an active and enthusiastic embrace of dysgenics.

A number of industry insiders are reporting that Vertigo Comics is in the process of being shut down:

A new rumor indicates DC Comics will shut down their Vertigo Comics imprint.

The rumor comes from Rich Johnston and Bleeding Cool who notes he “has been informed by a number of sources.” He also states  that the shuttering of the iconic comic imprint has “come from on high rather rapidly.”

He notes that DC Comics are revoking some contracts, returning creator-owned titles to creators, and some are being moved within the publisher. We spoke to our own source and they indicated there are rumblings inside DC Comics that Vertigo might be in trouble. They specifically told us Vertigo might be in trouble because none of the recent titles have taken off.

Vertigo Comics was founded in 1993 by Karen Berger and focused on the horror and fantasy genres with comics targeted toward a more adult audience that featured violence, drug abuse, sexuality, nudity, profanity, and other controversial topics. It would eventually house crime, social commentary, and other genres.

While Vertigo Comics has a storied past, it’s current incarnation is anything but. DC Comics announced a relaunch of the imprint under Senior Editor Mark Doyle in 2018 that featured a number of extremely controversial creative teams including Zoe Quinn, Robbi Rodriguez, Ramon Villalobos, Eric Esquivel, Rob Sheridan, and Richard Pace among others…. And while the creators themselves were making controversial statements, their books were not selling. Quinn’s first issue of Goddess Mode only shipped 17,471 copies. The second issue shipped 8,116. It wouldn’t get any prettier.

YouTube makes the case for Unauthorized

YouTube engages in yet another round of content crackdown:

YouTube is changing its community guidelines to ban videos promoting the superiority of any group as a justification for discrimination against others based on their age, gender, race, caste, religion, sexual orientation, or veteran status, the company said today. The move, which will result in the removal of all videos promoting Nazism and other discriminatory ideologies, is expected to result in the removal of thousands of channels across YouTube.

“The openness of YouTube’s platform has helped creativity and access to information thrive,” the company said in a blog post. “It’s our responsibility to protect that, and prevent our platform from being used to incite hatred, harassment, discrimination and violence.”

The changes announced on Wednesday attempt to improve its content moderation in three ways. First, the ban on supremacists will remove Nazis and other extremists who advocate segregation or exclusion based on age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or veteran status. In addition to those categories, YouTube is adding caste, which has significant implications in India, and “well-documented violent events,” such as the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting and 9/11. Users are no longer allowed to post videos saying those events did not happen, YouTube said.

Second, YouTube said it would expand efforts announced in January to reduce the spread of what it calls “borderline content and harmful misinformation.” The policy, which applies to videos that flirt with violating the community guidelines but ultimately fall short, aims to limit the promotion of those videos through recommendations. YouTube said the policy, which affects videos including flat-earthers and peddlers of phony miracle cures, had already decreased the number of views that borderline videos receive by 50 percent. In the future, the company said, it will recommend videos from more authoritative sources, like top news channels, in its “next watch” panel.

Finally, YouTube said it would restrict channels from monetizing their videos if they are found to “repeatedly brush up against our hate speech policies.” Those channels will not be able to run ads or use Super Chat, which lets channel subscribers pay creators directly for extra chat features.

That was fast. Literally 10 minutes after I read about YouTube’s new policies, I received several emails from YouTube:

Chernobyl and the cost of systematic untruth

I watched the five-part miniseries on Chernobyl with Spacebunny over the last month and it was really good. And while the show did not tie the historical Soviet situation to the current situation faced by the West, it would be hard for any viewer to fail to miss the obvious analogy between the way in which the systematic untruths of the Soviet system led to the meltdown of the reactor and the way the systematic untruths of the West in general, and the USA in particular, are leading to war, ethnic conflict, and societal meltdown.

Survival is not a right-wing ideology

Even left-wing Danes want Denmark to remain Denmark:

Denmark goes to the polls in a general election today, with the centre-left Social Democrats predicted to win after adopting the right wing’s long-standing tough stance on immigration.

Opinion polls put the party, led by Mette Frederiksen, at 27.2 per cent, a comfortable lead of almost 10 percentage points ahead of Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen’s ruling Liberal Party, which has been in power for 14 of the last 18 years.

The polls also indicate that the far-right Danish People’s Party, which has informally supported Rasmussen’s minority government, could lose almost half its support, shrinking to 10.7 per cent. For the last two decades the anti-immigrant party has supported successive right-wing governments in exchange for the implementation of their restrictive immigration policies. But as those policies have now been broadly adopted by almost all Danish parties, the Danish People’s Party has lost its unique appeal with voters.

Right and Left are now irrelevant. Immigration and identity are the first and foremost issue because it is an existential crisis. What difference does a difference of opinion on optimal tax rates make to a nonexistent people? A nation can survive communism and socialism and dictatorship, but it cannot survive excessive immigration nor can it long abide rule by foreigners.

As Matteo Salvini has demonstrated, an alliance with left-wing nationalists is the best way to save a nation from destruction by invasion.

A million times worse

Ann Coulter is not wrong. I’ve been trying to explain this to Americans who mindlessly mourn “Europe is lost” while failing to realize that their own situation is considerably more dire:

This stunning demographic replacement matters because American culture is the envy of the world. Not only was this wonderful culture created by white Western Europeans, but merely asking immigrants to assimilate to it is generally considered a hate crime.

If everyone assimilated to our culture, who cares what race they are? But given sufficient numbers, they don’t. They don’t need to, and we certainly aren’t asking them to. The reason we successfully assimilated not-so-different European cultures was that we controlled the numbers — essentially stopping immigration for 50 years while we forged an American character.

Let’s compare our demographic situation to the European countries we’re weeping over. What we’re witnessing in Europe is that continent’s first brush with the joys of diversity.

American conservatives’ obsession with Europe’s snail-like introduction to diversity, while ignoring a demographic tsunami in their own country, is the mirror image of neoconservatives’ fixation on unrest in the Middle East, while ignoring the invasion on our border.

When did it become deplorable, Walmart-y behavior to care about your own country? Not to care more, but merely to care as much as you do about the rest of the world?

It seems as if progress is inevitable, that things always get better and never retrogress. But the Roman Empire had philosophers, literature, science, great buildings, statues and works of art. It had advanced communication, plumbing and transportation systems. It had a universal set of measures, laws and rules.

And then the Dark Ages came. In the blink of an eye, all that was lost. The people no longer had the technological know-how even to repair bridges and aqueducts built by the Romans. They had lost the ability to make cement. They lost many of the works of Aristotle. Roads and plumbing fell into disrepair. Statues crumbled. Nikki Haley would be happy!

Only centuries later did civilization begin to reassert itself, barely climbing back to the accomplishments of several centuries earlier.

Not only is Europe’s situation less severe, but the European nations are reacting much, much more strongly than Americans, still caught up in their moronic civic nationalism, are. Even as she plays Cassandra, Ann Coulter STILL feels the need to make a nod to equalitarianism.

At this point, it is far too late for anything but very, very large scale repatriations to prevent the complete collapse of the USA. But there is not a single US politician who is even remotely willing to seriously address the problem.
