Bolsonero Crosses the Rubicon

Brazil shows Americans what actual resistance to electoral fraud looks like:

The people of Brazil have risen up against alleged voter fraud in the nation’s recent presidential election, with millions flooding the streets in protest.

During Tuesday’s national Republican Day, an estimated 3 million citizens took to the streets across the country and demanded the election be annulled.

Incumbent President Jair Bolsonaro and his party have responded by moving to annul the election.

Bolsonaro’s conservative Partido Liberal (PL) party presented its report and announced it will apply for the election’s annulment since the results could not be validated.

Since the massive fraud during the runoff election on October 30th in Brazil, millions of Brazilians have been protesting on the streets every day.

The election was “won” by Bolsonaro’s far-left socialist Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

Whether this Brazilian revolt against fake democracy is successful or not, it demonstrates why the Second Amendment has become irrelevant. Weapons are of no use to a people who are unwilling to use them. Since Americans wouldn’t use their God-given gun rights to a) defend their borders against foreign immigration or b) to prevent at least two successive fraudulent governments from ruling over them when they had those rights, history indicates they are probably going to eventually lose them.

I understand the natural reaction to protest “we didn’t know” or “people weren’t ready” or “there is nothing we could have done”. But the cold reality of history is that a people have a limited window of opportunity in which successful self-defense is possible. Once the Pilgrims have established themselves, the Visigoths have crossed the Rhine, or the Lombards have crossed the Alps, it’s already too late to turn back time.

That’s why, at this point, the collapse of the United States is probably the optimal outcome for the American posterity.

She’s Going To Blow

Fred Reed observes the current state of the United States and concludes that the polity is in the process of collapsing:

As the sentient have presumably noticed, the United States is in crisis, the country’s problems are profound, intrinsic, without solution, and worsening. When a population reaches the point of despair, even desperation, when it sees a darkening future for itself and its children, people yearn for a strong man who will forcibly put things right. Yet it is unlikely that helicopters of Marines from Quantico will descend on the White House and announce the dictatorship of some general. Military officers are too well paid and comfortable to worry about the country. It is hard to imagine an American Mussolini. Trump is a caricature and no one else comes to mind. Yet “unrest” –less euphemistically, “chaos” on the order of Mr. Floyd’s massive riots, is possible. We have seen it. We can see it again.

Consider America today. By comparison with Japan, China, Korea, it is a barbarity, a dumpster, an asylum, an abattoir, an astonishment. San Francisco loses conventions because of needles and excrement on the sidewalks. Almost weekly we see multiple shootings in stores, high schools and, now, grade schools. Murders of whites by blacks run at thirty a month, the news being suppressed. In cities across the country crime is out of control, the tax bases moving out, bail abolished so criminals are freed in hours. Stores leave to escape undiscouraged shoplifting and robbery. Seven hundred homicides a year in Chicago, 300 in Baltimore, and at least twice as many shot but survive, similar numbers in a dozen cities. For practical purposes, law does not exist in these ungovernable enclaves. Sexual curiosities, once called perversions, flourish with American embassies hoisting flags in support of transsexualism. Mobs topple historical statues. Many tens of thousands live on sidewalks and a hundred thousand a year die of opioid overdoses. The country drops math requirements and English grammar in schools, AP courses, and SATs as racist. The economy declines, jobs have left for other climes, medical care is beyond most people’s means, government is corrupt and incompetent, and wars are unending. There is actual hatred between racial, political, and regional groups. Ominously, gun sales are up.

How is this going to end well?

This column is a welcome return to the slashing style of the Fred of yore. The two things Fred left out – presumably due to his identity complications – is the demographic transformation of the population due to mass migration and the demographic transformation of the political and financial elite due to the combination of imperialism and ethnipotism.

But never mind the omissions. They don’t detract in the least from either the force of his words or the accuracy of his conclusions.

Meme of the Week 006

I’d chosen this week’s winner even before Donald Trump’s announcement that he’d be running for president again, but it’s particularly apt in light of that. It’s a powerful meme that not only points to the truth of the former president’s narcissism and complete failure of leadership, but also effectively triggers the emotions of those who continue to support the man and those who don’t alike. The only thing that prevents it from being a perfect meme is the execution of the dialogue balloon. 9/10.

Speaking of Donald Trump’s announcement, Trouble Man and Neon Revolt helpfully summarized his speech last night.

TROUBLE MAN: I’ll give you a summary of Trump’s speech so you don’t need to waste your time: “What they’re doing to our country, rigged elections, high gas prices, southern border, wars, etc. is so sad. I did the best for black and asians and hispanics. Nobody’s done better (No mention of Whites). I did such good things for israel with the Abraham accords. Nobody’s better for israel. They’ve done nothing to fix election fraud since I walked away from a hijacked election in 2020 and your countrymen are still political prisoners… But despite that, we’re still gonna pretend we have legitimate elections and I’m gonna run again in 2024!”

NEON REVOLT: No one wants to say it, but I will. Trump doesn’t sound like he has his heart in this. There’s also the glaring issue of voter fraud. I see no evidence of anything being done to deal with this, the most important issue, affecting all our elections. Right now, with this level of energy, and with the way things are rigged, this all feels like an exercise in futility.

Don’t get me wrong. The man was a very, very good president, the best of the 20th and 21st centuries combined. But that doesn’t change the fact that Donald Trump failed in his stated objective to make America great again, he failed morally when he embraced the vaxx and subjected his countrymen to its destructive consequences, and he failed as a leader when he refused to pardon the January 6th demonstrators while pardoning con artists, scammers, and rappers.

I Just Don’t Care

To no one’s surprise, Donald Trump is running for president again:

Donald Trump has revealed he is running for president for the third time in 2024.

The former president defied Republican critics and those who blamed him for the GOP’s disappointing midterms to go full steam on stating his intent to be back in the Oval Office.

He filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission just moments before he began his speech to supporters at Mar-a-Lago.

In his stately Mar-a-Lago ballroom with opulent gold trimmings and chandeliers and in front of his family, he was introduced as the ‘next president’ to chants to ‘USA’.

‘America’s comeback starts right now’, he said.

I have no interest in Trump’s final campaign. First, there is no reason to pay any attention to the charade that is US politics anymore. It’s no more real than the WWE or the WWF. Second, between the support for the vaccines, the failure to cross the Rubicon, and the refusal to pardon or otherwise support the January 6 prisoners, I just don’t consider him to be a man who merits American support anymore.

The man already won the 2020 election and he refused to prevent it from being stolen from him. So how is he going to stop anything that he didn’t stop before? Sure, he was the best president the US had since Andrew Jackson, but that simply wasn’t enough. The hour was too late and the degree of difficulty too great.

We already know Americans aren’t going to vote their way out of the USA’s inevitable decline and fall. So what is the point in pretending that it’s possible? I expect this will end in much the same way Michael Jordan’s career ended after he unwisely decided to come out of retirement and play for the Wizards. I’m not blackpilled, I just don’t see any reason to care at all, because what will be is already underway.

False Flag #237

The Russians are invading Poland now and murdering Poles! Because we can totally trust “a senior US intelligence offical”, right?

Two people have been killed in Poland after explosions hit a farm near the border with Ukraine in what is thought to be a botched Russian missile attack. Twin explosions rang out this afternoon in Przewodów, a rural village located five miles from the Ukrainian border in south western Poland.

A senior US intelligence official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the fatal blasts were caused by a pair of wayward Russian missiles – though the blast site sits more than 10 miles from the nearest Ukrainian urban settlement of note, Chervonohrad.

It follows a report by Polish Radio ZET which also claimed two stray missiles hit Polish soil, without providing more details. The blasts came as Moscow launched fresh missile attacks across Ukraine today in what Kyiv said was the heaviest wave of missile strikes in nearly nine months of war.

I’m mostly interested that they’re repeatedly trying to sell such small “provocations” as a potential casus belli. I mean, do they really think anyone other than the Boomers gives one hair on an airborne rodent’s posterior about NATO or its oft-misrepresented Article 5, which commits absolutely no one to doing anything.

UPDATE: The British are vowing “WE WILL DEFEND POLAND”.

They seem to have forgotten that the last time they promised to defend Poland, the Russians ended up with all of Poland, all of Eastern Europe, and most of Central Europe.
