Mailvox: shaking off the dust

A reader realizes that his church is politicized, cucked, and anti-Biblical. Time to find a new place of worship:

We’ve been attending a church for some time now that has pretty good doctrinal foundation, but there have been noticeable cracks.  I was content to stay for the time being, but today was the last straw.  After the worship set, we were subjected to a morbidly obese, unmarried, nose ring-wearing black woman, claiming the title and mantle of a Deacon, taking to the pulpit and instructing us as a congregation to have a time of special prayer on behalf of the children being separated from their families at the southern border.  She was sure to say “this is not political”, but then proceeded to levy Deuteronomy 10 in order to emotionally blackmail us, deceitfully using “sojourner” to represent permanent and illegal invaders. The Lord has a heart for these children, of course, and so should we, but the political implications and undertone were clear.

Furthermore, not once have I heard anyone take to the pulpit and ask for a special time of prayer for orphans in our own state or city.  Not once have I heard them ask for a special time of prayer for something that substantially affects our own community, such as the opioid epidemic.  Not once have I heard them address the severe negative effects that our society has borne (and will bear) due to mass immigration – from crime, physical and career displacement, increased debt/taxes, to the eventual collapse of federal finances due to the increased welfare, etc.  No, we had to have a special time of prayer over a mere 2,000 children that might have been temporarily separated from their “parents” as their bullshit asylum claims were adjudicated.  It was all I could do to not stand up and confront this shameful display by shouting her down.

The wife and I left immediately after, and are now seeking a new church home, however I have little hope that we would be able to find any American church that will boldly stand up for our own people first.  If I were so equipped, I would start one myself.  For now, the best I can do is to try and positively influence my family and friends to be aware about what is happening to our civilization, and do what we can to stem the tide.

If Christians would simply do a better job of a) following the clear instructions in the Bible, and, b) policing their institutions and organizations, this mass exodus would not be necessary. But for some reason, welcoming everyone is almost always accorded a higher priority than anything else, despite Paul’s explicit warning about wolves in sheep’s clothing.

The one thing I would recommend to the reader is to not disappear, but be sure he informs the pastor and the board of deacons why his family will not be attending that institution that used to be a church. Any church that has female priests, pastors, or deacons is already dead, I am not aware of a single example of a church that has adopted them that has not subsequently seen a rapid decline in both its teachings and its attendance.

I hate video

I really, really do. I mean, I understand it is necessary to reach a broader, post-literate audience, and I am committed to mastering the medium eventually, but I genuinely do not understand how these morons can so confidently, and so publicly, take the absurd positions they do.

Κέννυ Αντονέσκου
All you seem to do is just say “this won’t work because its not applicable to X” and other statements that you do not back up with logic, reason, evidence, etc. Maybe your brain-dead followers won’t challenge what you are saying but I will, unsubscribing from you because you are obviously a pseudo-intellectual who constantly brags about how you have super high IQ when its clear you are not high IQ.

Perhaps if he was able to read, or obtain material from some other medium, he would understand that I reliably back up my assertions in what is generally considered to be comprehensive detail. He doesn’t seem to be aware that there is considerably more information available beyond that which is presented on YouTube in the Darkstreams.

It’s like someone told these morons that all you have to do is say the magic words and declare that it seems like someone doesn’t back up a statement with logic, reason, and evidence, and this will suffice to not only disprove the statement, but also permanently disqualify the source. He quite clearly doesn’t understand that saying X won’t work because it’s not applicable to Y is, in fact, a logical syllogism. I really wish he was telling the truth about unsubscribing and not watching future videos, but we all know what the chances of that are.

Round of 16, Day Two

I don’t see the hosts surviving a vastly superior Spanish team, or even keeping it close. As for Croatia vs Denmark, both teams are tough and disciplined, but the Croats have more skill than the Danes.

UPDATE: Holy cow, Russia winning on penalties after holding Spain to 1-1 through extra time. I did NOT see that coming.

The Billy and Benny Show

A transcript of the Littlest Chickenhawk’s appearance on Bill Maher

chief of the daily wire and host of the
nationally syndicated Westwood one radio
show and podcast the ben shapiro show
ben shapiro i appreciate it i always say
this the conservatives will come on our
show I’m a little jealous of their guts
because they’ve more guts than the
liberals liberals don’t go on
conservative shows they didn’t come on
this show sometimes so I appreciate cuz
you know the crowd is not with you I got
that impression yeah and but yeah we
should but we ran let’s be civil right
that’s the tone of the day and I’m the
fan okay so I’m a fit well let’s see if
I’m a fan see each other’s fan at the
end admire but I just want to say we
seem to be living in a time of utter
tribalism and I think you and I have a
few things in common besides we were
both uninvited at Berkeley but we’ve
been coy about our affiliation of like
I’ve never really wanted to say I was a
Democrat I always voted Democratic but
they disappointed me a lot
you know you’ve been coy about a you
were Republican you’re conservative or I
think right now I’m a Democrat and and
since all the Republicans are now
backing Trump except for the ones who
are leaving but he totally owns that
party now if you’re if you’re a
conservative aren’t you really team
Trump

well it depends on on what so what
I’ve called myself is sometimes Trump
okay there the people said there’s never
Trump and there’s always from sometimes
Trump meaning that when he does
something that I like I cheer and when
he does something that I hate which
happens then I boo and I’m blowing as
loudly as you are when he does something
that’s really bad but listen you’re very
upset about the Supreme Court nominee I
am very pleased about the Supreme Court
nominee as a conservative right he’s
doing a lot of things that I like in
terms of policy now that doesn’t mean
that I am cheering his character because
I think that it is very difficult to
cheer Donald Trump’s character nor do I
think it’s appropriate well what do you
like okay so I like the tax cuts I like
to tax it hurts me by the way in
California but I like it as a general
policy

ladies he’s rich. okay okay but see I don’t even know what
the Republican beliefs are I mean you’re
a young guy but you certainly remember
two years back when they were beliefs
were completely the opposite of what
they are now when it’s free trade they
were giant deficit hawks yep the Tea
Party was all about we’re gonna solve
the deficit but they didn’t did that
well the Democrats ain’t can do it
either so I know but they didn’t say
they were right the Tea Party kept said
we have got to get this deficit down
this motherfucker has ran up a trillion
dollars in six months what what what
about Russia they used to be the enemy
what about free trade I mean how do you
turn on a dime so quickly in a couple of
years

I mean obviously it’s been very
frustrating to me watch so many
Republicans do exactly that I’ve been
incredibly critical of Republicans who
have suddenly become fans of Vladimir
Putin or have suddenly become fans of
tariffs I think all of that is idiocy
but again I think that with regard to
judges with regard to taxes with regard
to Middle Eastern policy particularly
Iran in Israel I’m much more of a fan of
President Trump than I certainly would
have been of Hillary Clinton or Barack
Obama and by the way I didn’t vote for
president from the last election because
of my concerns about him okay so you
would not vote for a Democrat under any
circumstance or some circumstance I mean
I would say some circumstance but the
Democratic Party would have to stop
being insane meaning that they would
actually have to approach something like
moderation in terms of policy and also
present a face that doesn’t look like
people shouting down people at gas
stations or entering restaurants and
trying to throw them out okay well if
you’re talking about the civility thing
why don’t we start with the Republicans
stop saying lock her up you don’t think
that’s a worse a bridge winter
just lock her up he talked about locking
co me up he talks about locking
journalists up there’s a guy who said
locked tim kaine up how about we stop
the lock them up shouldn’t disability
arguments start there before we care
about who gets their entree well it
isn’t just about who gets their entree
I’m not gonna make excuses for which is
more important well I think that all of
it is important if you’re going to ask
me is bad across the board yes but you
can’t be advisors that we’re only
imposed okay you’re only opposed to
incivility when it’s Donald Trump
inclusive but but suddenly Maxine Waters
auntie Maxine because Ben you can’t walk
into a Roman tea an elephant in a mouse
and not know which one is bigger but
it’s not no offense any Mouse it’s two
years really yes threatening to walk six
hundred officers to protect me at
Berkeley yes it’s an elephant and an
elephant yes it’s an elephant an
elephant a trilobite in 2010 Romney that
he’s gonna put y’all back in Chains
about black people this stuff
pre-existed that productive is terrible
didn’t come from the president at
Berkeley it came from the vice president
when he was saying Mitt Romney the
cleanest person ever okay was a guy
who’s gonna put y’all back and change to
pretend in civility started with Donald
Trump not instability at the level to
which it’s at were your time great you
do you really think Donald Trump
respects the rule of law I mean if
somebody no and I think the Constitution
itself is a pretty damn durable document
thank God I’ve read your tweets like
about Kamala Harris yeah I have some
problems with her too but you would vote
for Trump over her yes tell me why okay
so the reason I’d vote for Trump over
her is because I agree with him a lot
more on policy and I actually believe a
lot of the damage that he has done to
the country in terms of social fabric
has already occurred so I said I didn’t
vote for him in 2016 the reason I didn’t
vote for him in 2016 is because I feared
the damage he would do to the social
fabric and I also didn’t think he was
going to govern conservative because I
didn’t see a lot of indicators of that
he’s government a lot more conservative
than I thought he was going to and as
far as the damage to the social fabric
if he’s already done it I’m not actually
mitigating against the damage to the
social fabric by not voting from in 2020
can I read your here’s something where
we sort of agree and then I’ll show you
where we don’t this is Kamala Harris
tweeted children are our nation’s future
we must listen to them about what they
care about and give them a voice in our
government
and you wrote ridiculous I’m with you
their children they don’t get a voice
and I think I know what she meant but
it’s poorly worded and you wrote
children should not have a voice in our
government their children and you’re
right this is where the left drives me
crazy but then you wrote about children
they are also incapable of fully
rational thought
thoroughly uncivilized and completely
driven by immediate emotional response I
can’t think of a here more perfect
description of Donald Trump you didn’t
see the irony when you wrote that tweet
and described children that way you did
it didn’t never entered your mind that
Donald Trump fit that perfectly well I
don’t believe that Donald Trump is a
person whose views are leading in in my
in my imagination where the country
ought to go I mean I don’t look to
Donald Trump’s a thought leader I would
look to a child’s thought leader I don’t
look to those it’s not leader so are you
talking about he’s the president says
he’s not the thought leader nope
couldn’t he have some thought I don’t
know Kenny
you tell me I don’t know well it seems
like his only thoughts to me are to work
with Vladimir Putin to make Russia great
again and I what I don’t understand
Obama was but harsher on Putin you got
in terms of his rhetoric his actions his
armed his armed the people of Ukraine
with deadly weaponry which Obama would
not do 200 Russian soldiers were killed
in Syria by US forces under Donald Trump
not under Barack Obama Barack Obama who
sang to Dmitry Medvedev that he wanted
to bribed him with flexibility in 2012
it Crimea was annexed under Barack Obama
Wow this reminds me of when people
Hitchin just to come on the show and and
try to convince me that Saddam Hussein
was you know a radical Islamist when he
was actually a secularist you have to go
a long way to make that argument I mean
he tweeted yesterday defending Putin
against what our own agency say that he
said Russia says again they did in metal
not election what a lot of crappy stuff
why a lot of wood why have there been 19
indictments and six conviction so far in
the mullah ring Creek why so many
lies about so many meetings with so many
Russians so many attempts to have
back-channel sources what actually think
that Donald Trump collude admitting yes
I do not because I watched that campaign
I don’t think that Donald Trump could
collude with his own left foot well I
don’t think he did it but his you know
his son did it his the people who and
when the evidence comes out I’m happy to
go for the indictments I’m fine okay
great
criminal activities criminal act but you
see didn’t do but wearing his to
ignorance who have done it well
he’s not too ignorant he’s not too
ignorant to be a criminalist all life
[Applause]
into the Trump Defender here but is he a
doofus or is he an evil genius you gotta
pick one okay actually you don’t you
don’t have to pick one really look I’m
not saying he’s like Hitler here is I
marry bud Hitler was crazy and he was a
genius at what he did which was lie and
manipulate people so you can be both
oka
y but let’s get back to Russia
because I first of all why a nice Jewish
boy like you wants to be on Team treason
I have no idea
dude I’m happy to wait for the Muller
indictments and come down and they
target Trump I’m happy to see them
impeach work that I need to see evidence
but you know that the Republican
Congress we saw it this week with
Rosenstein on the at Congress they are
trying to impeach Rosenstein so they can
get rid of him so they can so we don’t
ever see they don’t want us ever to see
it they know there’s something probably
a thousand things in there that are
incredibly damning okay you don’t think
that if they impeach Rosenstein yes some
presento line for you i don’t know it’s
the final line because there’s still
another step that has to happen Rosen
scene has to be replaced by somebody who
then fires Muller so frozen Steen is
fired and Muller is left to his own
devices which is basically by the way
what happened with this investigation
when Comey was fired then I don’t see
where the line is Muller is the one who
matters here not report goes to the
Deputy Attorney General and if Trump
puts Scott Baio in that position
he can just throw it in the trash and if
he throws it in the trash or quashes the
muller investigation then yes
impeachment should be on the table Thank
You Ben I want to do it again I
appreciate you coming by I know Friday
night’s a tough one for you all right
Ben Shapiro I’ll give him the hands

The collapse of the neocons

NeverTrump was just another word for neoconservative. Or, as they were originally and more accurately labeled, Trotskyite World Revolutionary. But conservatism is even deader than neoconservatism, because there is nothing left to conserve.

With the installation of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court, and a yet-to-be-named reliable replacement for the unreliable Anthony Kennedy, Donald Trump will have confirmed himself as the most consequential conservative president of the modern era (or a close second to Reagan if you’re nostalgic). This will be complete vindication for Trump supporters, which means it’s really the end for the so-called Never Trump conservatives. Of course, there have been so many humiliating defeats for that crowd that we are spoiled for choice. What was your favorite blunder, or blown prediction, which marked their ignominious end?

For some, it must have been in March when Bill Kristol, longtime editor of the conservative magazine the Weekly Standard, showed up in New Hampshire telling people he would run against President Trump in 2020. Or in April when the conservative website RedState was taken over and purged of writers who were “insufficiently supportive” of the president. Some go back to October 2017 when a Twitter spat broke out between Stephen Hayes and Brit Hume of Fox News over the Weekly Standard’s anti-Trump editorials. With the death last week of Charles Krauthammer, the revered neocon commentator and prominent Trump skeptic, the eclipse of the neocon intellectuals is complete.

One thing’s for sure: it wasn’t really a war so much as a rout. The Never Trump intellectual crowd has no momentum and no popular following these days. Consider the trajectory of their would-be leader Kristol, who appears to be indulging in a personal fantasy by putting himself forward as a candidate, as his rapport with GOP voters includes trying to run Evan McMullin in Utah to throw the 2016 election to Hillary Clinton. When that stunt failed, Kristol personally insulted the pro-Trump writer Michael Anton for his influential essay “The Flight 93 election.” Then Kristol’s commentator gig with Fox was not renewed, and he was soon accusing Tucker Carlson of “ethno-nationalism” and “racism.” Overshadowing all of these breaks was Kristol’s personal history of being the conservative’s answer to Bob Shrum, a political “pro” who was always very wrong about politics.

Of course, Kristol was not alone in his contempt for Trump — he was only the most vocal and unhinged. Alongside him were other conservatives like Jennifer Rubin and George Will and Michael Gerson at the Washington Post; Bret Stephens at the Wall Street Journal; David Brooks and Ross Douthat at the New York Times; Jonah Goldberg and David French at National Review; Ramesh Ponnuru at Bloomberg; and Erick Erickson at RedState. A number of others, people like David Frum and Ana Navarro, committed political seppuku early and endorsed Hillary Clinton. Needless to say, the careers of most of these people have been curtailed dramatically.

Notice the studious omission of the Littlest Chickenhawk, who was second only to Bill Kristol in his furious denouncing of the God-Emperor during the campaign. After all, did Donald Trump not condone the RAPE and MURDER of whatever her name was by his own campaign manager? What this tells us is that the authors of the media narrative still believe that Benny Shapiro is salvageable; notice that no one else from the Intellectual Dark Web is on the list of NeverTrump conservatives, probably because none of them can even be considered as “conservative” as Jennifer Rubin, the controlled opposition figure who was a Democrat and Hollywood lawyer before she suddenly appeared as an Important Opinion Leader in the so-called conservative media.

Where is Thomas Sowell? Dana Loesch, Michael Medved, and Cal Thomas? They are all anti-Trump conservatives who were featured in National Review’s deeply heretical Conservatives Against Trump issue. They should all be purged from the Right and cast out into the outer darkness, where the glory of the God-Emperor is but a distant glimmer.

Below is the list of the intellectually unfit, whose names are anathema to anyone genuinely of the Right. We can no longer be accurately described as the Alt-Right or the Alternative Right, because we are not the alternative and there is no longer any legitimate right-wing alternative to us. There are merely various flavors of anti-nationalist left-wing globalism, regardless of whether they happen to call themselves “conservatives” or “liberals” or “communists”.

Darkstream: why you don’t talk to the media

From the transcript:

It doesn’t even matter what you do or what you say, the narrative is already written, the story has already been laid out. All they’re doing now when they talk to you is getting kill quotes and getting words that they can then spin to claim that they’ve given you a fair shake. You see, when they contact you, what they tell you is that they want to give you your chance to tell your side of the story, and the thing is, the clear implication is already there! You know, they’re already signalling what they’re  going to do to you because the other side of the story, the story that is not your side of the story, is the narrative.

The way they portray it is, well, so-and-so has said something about you, or there is this belief that X or Y or Z is true about you, what’s your version of that? And what they want you to do is they want you to play defense to their prosecuting attorney. That’s the whole idea! You are there to be the subject of the interrogation and they are the stars who are prosecuting you. Now, of course that’s why they want to talk to you! They don’t need you to verify any facts, they will completely ignore anything that you say if you manage to somehow miraculously defang and conclusively disprove an assertion that was part of their narrative.

At most what they will do is simply omit that part. They will never make the false charge and then allow you to disprove it, so it’s a situation where you literally cannot win because the deck is stacked. You’re in a courtroom of public opinion where the arresting officer, the judge, the prosecuting attorney and the defense attorney are all the same person, they’re all the reporter.

And here’s the other thing that you need to understand: it usually isn’t the reporter who dictates the narrative… so the best way that you can defang them, the best way that you control them, is to simply not talk to them! Because they need content, they need your comments, and the stories that they are writing do not do not work without your participation, that’s why they’re always looking for your participation.

Prelude to war

Patriot Prayer didn’t have too much trouble putting Antifa on the run, but it’s clear that they weren’t actually ready for trouble on the basis of their nonexistent tactics.

Remember, a small, well-organized core is always going to be much more effective operating together than a large, ragtag mob. Especially because as it operates, others begin to follow their lead. But it is certainly interesting to see the scenarios being portrayed in Alt-Hero actually playing out on the streets of Portland and other cities.

It’s also interesting to see that with Trump in office, the local pro-Antifa politicians are considerably less confident about their ability to use the police against the Right with one-sided law enforcement and strategic stand-downs than they were under the Obama regime. Regardless, if you haven’t read The 4GW Handbook yet, you probably should. Get the paperback so you can share it more easily.

A good clip of an Antifa thug getting KO’d with a single punch at the same showdown. Of course, the guy promptly shows he’s not a real fighter, as he backs off rather than fight the Antifa thugette who runs up and kicks him. That’s the hapless white knight mindset that has permitted the invasion of the West. If you’re not prepared to take on anyone who takes the field against you, then don’t go out there at all.

What is your business?

Restaurants are learning the hard way that they are not in the business of politics. Not for long, anyhow:

Reviewers flooded the Yelp page of a Canadian restaurant with one-star reviews after a manager was fired for kicking out a man wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.

The Teahouse in Vancouver’s Stanley Park has come under fire for the incident, which occurred less than a week after White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was kicked out of a Virginia restaurant.

The negative reviews came from both sides of the aisle, with some critiquing the restaurant for kicking out the patron, and other tearing into the restaurant for firing the manager.

“As a person with a strong moral backbone, I had to take a stand against this guest’s choice of headwear while in my former place of work. Absolutely no regrets,” the former employee told CBC News. The restaurant owners said they fired the employee because his actions did not align with their policy of hospitality and inclusiveness.

It’s about time the Right joined the Culture War. 50 years of constant retreat haven’t worked out so well, after all.

The science of Q

It will not be Gowdy.
Q

That’s not even remotely opaque. Now, it will obviously not prove that Q is reliable if the Supreme Court nomination turns out to be someone other than Trey Gowdy. But if the hypothesis is falsified, that will demonstrate Q’s fallibility.

US out of Germany

This would be most excellent news indeed. Having noticed that WWII is over and the Soviet Union is no more, the God-Emperor is talking about shutting down the US bases in Germany and bringing the troops home.

Donald Trump is considering scaling down or withdrawing the US military from Germany, according to a report ahead of the NATO leaders’ meeting. The US president has blasted allies for chipping in too little to the bloc’s budget.

The decision to explore the option of pulling 35,000 US troops out of Germany came after Trump floated the idea during a meeting with White House and military aides, the Washington Post reported on Friday, citing government officials who spoke on condition of anonymity. The president was reportedly frustrated by the fact that Germany and other NATO allies don’t pay their “fair share” into the budget of the alliance.

Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump
….Germany pays 1{0ce1a054466f479f1fb0ac20b94979d66b3386d5b658fff7ef3ba76c38796cd5} (slowly) of GDP towards NATO, while we pay 4{0ce1a054466f479f1fb0ac20b94979d66b3386d5b658fff7ef3ba76c38796cd5} of a MUCH larger GDP. Does anybody believe that makes sense? We protect Europe (which is good) at great financial loss, and then get unfairly clobbered on Trade. Change is coming!

Except the US obviously is not protecting Europe from anyone. All those expensive troops on location didn’t help Germany avoid invasion by 1.6 million migrants, so obviously there is no reason for them to be there anymore.
