Zoe Kentucky gets it backwards:

I’m not sure why people don’t understand this but “feminazi” is a very ugly word and it is very disrespectful and degrading to women and Holocaust victims and survivors. Calling feminists nazis is pretty much the worst thing you can call us, worse than any of the worst cursewords. If you have any respect for women or the victims of the real Nazis, you’ll reconsider using it.

Actually, as I have previously written, calling a feminist a “feminazi” is an insult to the German National Socialist Workers Party. Consider the following points:

1. The primary victims of NASDAP ideology were the Jews, a group that the NASDAP intellectuals sincerely believed were secretly dominating the world. Thus, they waged a heroic – albeit insane – twilight struggle in a futile attempt at world revolution to free the German race from what they viewed as its economic oppression. They did so in the awareness that if they failed, their nation would likely be destroyed. They killed approximately six million Jews, most of whom were adults perfectly capable of defending themselves.

2. The primary victims of feminist ideology are unborn children, a group that the feminist leadership sincerely believes handicaps women’s ability to obtain college degrees. Thus, they have waged a purely political battle in a futile attempt at ideological revolution to free the female gender from what they viewed as its biological oppression. They did so in the awareness that if they failed, women would be condemned to live hellish lives as wives and mothers. They have killed approximately 50 million children, all of whom were completely unable to defend themselves.

3. The NASDAP leadership directly confronted the militaries of three major world powers, the Soviet Union, Great Britain and the United States of America, in an attempt to establish totalitarian rule.

4. The feminist leadership has attempted to quietly manipulate the American public, using a combination of propaganda, political pressure and constant nagging, in an attempt to establish totalitarian rule.

Any rational human being would harbor more respect for a Nazi than for a feminist. But then, neither Nazism nor feminism is designed to appeal to those handicapped with the ability to think rationally.

As for insulting feminists, I can’t think of anything worse to call them than those bloody Belgian bastards….

At Yale and other top colleges, women are being groomed to take their place in an ever more diverse professional elite. It is almost taken for granted that, just as they make up half the students at these institutions, they will move into leadership roles on an equal basis with their male classmates.

There is just one problem with this scenario: many of these women say that is not what they want.

Many women at the nation’s most elite colleges say they have already decided that they will put aside their careers in favor of raising children. Though some of these students are not planning to have children and some hope to have a family and work full time, many others, like Ms. Liu, say they will happily play a traditional female role, with motherhood their main commitment.

Much attention has been focused on career women who leave the work force to rear children. What seems to be changing is that while many women in college two or three decades ago expected to have full-time careers, their daughters, while still in college, say they have already decided to suspend or end their careers when they have children….

For many feminists, it may come as a shock to hear how unbothered many young women at the nation’s top schools are by the strictures of traditional roles.

You can learn from your parents in two ways, from their successes and from their mistakes. I hope that this next generation of college women has taken salient note of the appalling and socially destructive decisions of far too many of their mothers and as well as the evolutionary dead-ends who have preceded them.

The fact that it is #4 on the NYT’s most-emailed list is also a good sign.

Joseph Farah points out a telling bit of support from an interesting source:

John G. Roberts Jr. should be confirmed as chief justice of the United States. He is overwhelmingly well-qualified, possesses an unusually keen legal mind and practices a collegiality of the type an effective chief justice must have. He shows every sign of commitment to restraint and impartiality. Nominees of comparable quality have, after rigorous hearings, been confirmed nearly unanimously. We hope Judge Roberts will similarly be approved by a large bipartisan vote.

It’s a good thing that Dear Leader was reelected, because just think, if John Kerry had won, he might have nominated activist judges of whom the liberal mainstream media approves!

Oh, did I forget to mention that endorsement of Justice Roberts comes from the Washington Post? My dear Mr. Farah, I do believe that I told YOU and everyone else who supported George Bush so.

This “Letter to the President” popped up in my email the other day. I found it to be rather ironic, considering today’s topic.

Dear Mr. Bush:

As a veteran Canadian churchman, a graduate of Bryan College, Dayton, TN, who has conducted over 500 evangelistic crusades and rallies throughout North America, Britain, Ireland and the Caribbean, and who as a guest of Dr. Jerry Falwell has preached in the pulpit of the Thomas Road Baptist Church, Lynchburg, VA, and to the student body of Liberty University, and has been honoured with a doctor of divinity degree conferred on me by the distinguished associate evangelist of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Dr. John White, Ph.D, (Oxford), I write, “as a nobody from nowhere”, the wilderness of Canada’s great northwest, Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, where I serve as Director of the Wilderness Family Conference.

I write to congratulate you on the noble leadership you’re providing to your great nation with which we Canadians are blessed to share this continent. Your magnificent speech tonight confirmed the confidence of so many of us north and south of the border, who recognize the hand of God upon you and the goodness of God in raising up such leadership as you “for such a time as this” on the world stage.

Now, it’s possible that I’m completely wrong, that George Bush is a great Christian leader and will lead this nation into renewed greatness and glory under God. Alternatively, this distinguished Canadian churchman is just another deceived Christian with serious discernment problems.

I’m just curious what the guy could have possibly found so “magnificent” in Bush’s speech. The entire thing could have been summed up in the simple phrase “we’re going to give a lot of taxpayer money to a lot of people”.

Has anyone thrown out the first Mike Tice job-security rumor yet?

Regulars here may recall that I was bitterly disappointed when turmoil in the Vikings’ ownership situation led to Mike Tice keeping his job this year. Now you know why. He’s just not very bright and I wouldn’t be surprised if the man was 30 IQ points lower than the NFL average for head coaches.

It’s not that Tice is a bad guy or completely incompetent, it’s just that he’s a perfect example of the Dilbert principle, wherein everyone is promoted to their level of incompetence. NFL head coach is a tremendously demanding job – just look at how Jack Del Rio appears to have aged 20 years in the last three – and it takes a near genius to succeed in it.

Unlike the case of Mike Martz, it’s not even entertaining to watch the myriad ways in which Mike Tice fails. They have to get rid of him now, find a caretaker for the rest of the season – which appears to be all but over already – and hire a quality long-term coach at the end of the year.

The Rabbi declares that “It’s time to integrate America“:

While black America has ills for which it is personally accountable and must do everything to rectify – foremost of which is an out-of-wedlock birthrate of more than 60 percent, guaranteeing that untold numbers of black children are raised without fathers to nurture, guide and inspire them – white America still has a great many sins for which it must repent, foremost of which is white flight from neighborhoods that black residents move in to….

For many people, the purpose of religion is to gain entry into the afterlife. But for blacks and Jews, religion is about fighting persecution and creating heaven on earth.

So, the Constitutionally-protected right of Freedom of Association is declared a secular sin and under the aegis of the Rabbi Shmuley’s great vision, blacks and Jews are going to create heaven on earth. It’s seems that we’ve heard that promise more than a few times before. Such visions invariably end in creating Hell instead.

And isn’t it more than a little ironic for a Jew to preach integration? From what I understand of their centuries-old tradition, Jews are vehemently opposed to their children marrying non-Jews of any color.

Integration is a good thing as long as it is chosen freely by the individuals involved. Forced integration is a totalitarian abomination and is tantamount to affixing a fuse to a powder keg. It’s always only a matter of time before something sparks and the whole thing blows up. This isn’t just a black-white thing, it is true everywhere there are two different cultures forced together by the government policy. It’s as true in Denmark as it is in Malaysia.

Jamie R is following the German elections for no apparent reason:

Or so the Germans would have us believe?

It’s obvious that a divided Germany is in dire need of a leader who will bring the German people together on the one thing they can all can agree on no matter what their differences: invading countries that are weak.

I have seldom laughed so hard as when one of my German friends told me that they had to change the words to the national anthem, because some of the “from Maine to California” style lyrics referred to places that belonged to other countries. He may have been pulling my leg, of course, but after dinner he and his wife did try to invade our terrace. Fortunately, Space Bunny called in our Rhodesian reinforcements and we managed to repel this unexpected blitzkrieg in time for dessert.

One can easily imagine Anonymous making a statement by wearing a “racism sucks” t-shirt:

“Well, VD, wouldn’t you call Jim Crow racism? Or slavery? Thinking someone is not human because of their race? Hating someone and denying them rights because of their race?”

First, there is some scientific question as to whether genetic “race” actually exists. So, it’s quite possible that “racism” is simply the inherent human dislike for that which is different. Humans instinctively attempt to form groups and cliques; a purely Caucasian world would likely fight wars over eye color.

Jim Crow is simply one of the many forms that government oppression has taken over the centuries. The fact that it was based on skin color instead of ideology makes it no worse, and it was certainly less monstrous than the way that the Nazis treated the Jews or the Cambodian Communists treated the Cambodians. Is it truly any better to deny someone their rights to life and property because they wear eyeglasses and are literate than to do so over race?

Slavery is an obvious violation of individual property rights, but it is not racism. It has been practiced among every group of people for the vast majority of human history and continues today in Africa and Asia. Even if one artificially limits the discussion to historical American slavery, it is quite obvious that not all blacks were slaves.

As for hating someone, every individual should be perfectly free to hate whoever one wants, for whatever reason one wants. To argue otherwise is to argue for thoughtcrime and intellectual slavery; it is inherently totalitarian. Individuals do not deny other individuals their rights, only governments are capable of doing that, which is why the Constitution is directed at limiting the federal government and not individual Americans

All that matters is equal individual rights under law and equal individual worth under Jesus Christ. Everything else is a potentially fatal trap which will lead to more division and destruction.

The fact that the federal government is pushing multiculturalism on everyone and intentionally settling ethnic immigrants in ethnically homogenous areas should alone be enough to cause one to doubt the concept.
