There is no black extremism

Steve Sailer points out that the New York Times has claimed that there is no such thing as racist black extremism:

Wait, what exactly is black identity extremism? The answer is: nothing. It’s a fiction, as others have powerfully argued, including Andrew Cohen, a fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice.

But that doesn’t make the report any less sinister. As Cohen pointed out, the F.B.I. has a “history of surveillance and intimidation of black Americans that frequently goes beyond legitimate law enforcement into paranoia, racism, and political expediency.”

The F.B.I. document takes pains to say that the mere exercise of constitutional rights to protest and even the “rhetorical embrace” of violent tactics “may not” constitute extremism. But the danger — or even the aim — is that the entire racial justice movement gets painted with the brush of terrorism.

The next time there is an act of violence by an African-American against police officers, brace yourself for the right-wing media or the attorney general or the tweeter in chief to seize on the phrase “black identity extremists.”

Neither Mr. Rosenthal nor Mr. Sailer appears to have noticed that the inevitable conclusion of this line of reasoning is that murderous violence and other criminal behavior is simply normal black behavior.

Is that really the position the New York Times wishes to publicly assert?

Cucktriotika

I suspect that more than a few of those who backed the Patriotika kickstarter are going to regret having done so. Apparently the gentleman responsible for it is considerably more of a cuck than he is a patriot.

However, it is very illuminating to observe that the comics industry is so converged that not only are the SJWs at Marvel and DC intent on banishing all badthink from the industry, but so are those professing to offer an alternative to them. A false alternative, as it turns out.

It should be readily apparent that Patriotika is not “A SJW’s Worst Nightmare” or “what SJW Marvel loathes”, as had been previously claimed. Is there any doubt that the part-time goddess, part-time college student would be majoring in Women’s Studies and dating a black football player by issue #3?

I wonder how these delicate cucks would have reacted to The Dukes of Hazzard? In any event, we will be more than happy to utilize more of Tim’s work, and were in fact discussing that with him even before he was informed that his work on the Alt★Hero project rendered his previous work for Mount Olympus Comics unusable.

UPDATE: It would appear that I was correct. Patriotika backers are, to put it mildly, displeased by Ron Z’s decision to sit in for Marvel in playing thought police for the comics industry. The caption accompanying the picture below: “Blacklisting is not cool. Never another dime.”

Paper nationalists

If you weren’t certain that civic nationalism is intrinsically cuckservative, you know better now.

“We live in a land made of ideals, not blood and soil,” McCain said. “We have a moral obligation to continue in our just cause, and we would bring more than shame on ourselves if we don’t. We will not thrive in a world where our leadership and ideals are absent. We wouldn’t deserve to.”

Do you know where a land made of ideals can be found? In Plato’s Theory of Forms. Do you know where it cannot be found? On this planet.

Bush’s version: “Our identity as a nation, and unlike many other nations, is not determined by geography or ethnicity, by soil or blood. Being an American involves the embrace of high ideals and civic responsibility.”

How very strange, then, that so many US citizens do not embrace those ideals or accept any civic responsibility. Doesn’t that mean they are not Americans? If a nation’s identity is not determined by geography, ethnicity, soil, or blood, that does not make it special, it makes it nonexistent.

“Bigotry in any form is blasphemy.”
– George W. Bush

“The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.”
– God

One wonders what god, exactly, is being blasphemed by bigotry.

Boom!

SJWs Always Double Down is now available in audiobook. Narrated by Bob Allen, it is 6 hours and 34 minutes. Truly an astonishing performance from the Castalia House audio department; I’ve never seen an audio book completed and approved this quickly.

PJ Media on Alt★Hero

PJ Media’s Megan Fox interviewed me and several others about the unexpected appeal of Alt★Hero:

PJ Media reached out to Vox Day to find out more about his overnight hit.

“I was astonished, actually. I knew that people were angry about the way social justice warriors have destroyed traditional superheroes, but I didn’t realize just how eager they were for an alternative,” he said. “Of course, the way the SJWs on Twitter completely freaked out over Rebel and the existence of the project didn’t exactly hurt.”

Rebel has become the stand out hero of the upcoming series who seems to resonate the most with fans. She is beautifully drawn in the classic superhero style but seems to always be losing part of her costume.

“Being a good Southern girl, Rebel made her own costume, and the straps are supposed to be tied. However, considering how often they seem to come undone, she is giving some serious thought to having someone design her a more practical outfit,” Day explained. The stars and bars are an unmistakable tweak to the SJW’s who get triggered at the very thought of a confederate flag. (Remember this lunatic?) Obviously, Day isn’t shrinking away from politics in these stories.

“The idea that there can be politics-free comics when everything from going to the ladies room to playing video games has been politicized is utterly absurd,” he quipped. “It would be like ignoring the existence of Nazis during World War II or of Soviets during the Cold War,” he argued. “The problem with Marvel and DC is not so much that they have injected politics into comics, but that they ruthlessly sacrifice the stories and even the traditional superheroes on the altar of their social justice agenda.”

We also debuted a new image of Rebel, exclusive to the article.

UPDATE: They changed the link because the star in the title was causing problems for some browsers. The link above is updated, complete with new art featuring Ghostdancer and Captain Europa.

Convergence in a nutshell

The NFL is discovering that social justice convergence comes at a price:

“If we are disrespecting the flag, then we won’t play. Period.”

Those words from Jerry Jones on Oct. 8 were widely taken as a salvo delivered from an owner to all the players using the national anthem as a platform for protest.

But as I see it, that was no declaration of war on guys kneeling. I don’t think the Cowboys boss was even talking to players. My feeling: he was talking through the players, and hoping his message would land in living rooms from El Paso to Wichita Falls.

And to explain why, I’ll give you the three words that should serve as your guidepost in explaining almost everything NFL: Follow the money.

The Cowboys need those people in West Texas and on the Oklahoma border to watch. The NFL needs those people tune in too. And the proof came in the ratings not that you read about this week, but rather the ones that were privately presented to the owners over the league’s two-day meetings in lower Manhattan.

The focus Tuesday and Wednesday was on the players’ desire to have a stage to address social causes, and the associated protests during the anthem that resulted. But in the background loomed the reality that the discord of the past few weeks wasn’t good for anyone’s bottom line, and the ratings might just be the first proof.

“There’s no question this had an impact on the business,” said Giants owner John Mara. “But this is an important social issue. And sometimes you have to put the interests of the business behind the interest of issues that are more important than that.”

That sounds very noble. But there is ALWAYS an important social issue for which the interests of the business must be sacrificed. These owners would benefit greatly from someone in their inner circle reading SJWs Always Double Down, because they clearly do not realize that the SJWs will never be content no matter what concessions are made to them.

She is unimpressed

Ryu no Seishin is observably unimpressed by the shamefully unsuper SJW-heroes of Marvel and DC. She would eviscerate the “unbeatable” Squirrel Girl with a flick of the wrist and have her skin turned into gloves without so much as blinking an eye.

A well-known conservative site has confirmed that they will be running an article about Alt★Hero later today, complete with an interview with me and exclusive new Rebel artwork. I also really like where Chuck Dixon is going with the city of Avalon, which is beginning to come to life.

To help make this happen, join the campaign. I think you’ll be glad you did.

Article 155

The Spanish government has announced that it will meet on Saturday to take the first step in suspending the autonomy of Catalonia, and the suspension will then be ratified by the Senate on Monday.

After discussing the matter in some depth with several Catalans, my impression is that they don’t really want independence, which explains why they would be quite happy to remain under EU rule even if they were able to become “independent”. A lot of this appears to be belated fallout from the scars of the Franco regime’s suppression of Catalan language and culture, and an expression of a feeling of a general lack of respect from the rest of Spain.

One American married to a Catalan woman talked about how, despite being warned to rent a car instead of taking their car with plates indicating its Barcelona registration, he drove it to Madrid. And, as she warned him would happen, the car got keyed. He cited this as a microcosm of the general disdain that the rest of Spain holds for the Catalans.

Whether that is true or not, it does seem to reflect the general sense of the population. The problem is that while Spain has attempted to legally grant the Catalans the sense of respect they crave, and then some, by giving them a great deal of political autonomy, it’s not simply possible to do so through the mechanism of government and politics.

It may be that what the Catalans really want is just impossible. You can’t be simultaneously equal and special. You just can’t.

Startup basics

I finally got the White Bull himself to launch a Periscope. It went pretty well for his first time, and he’s putting together a plan to cover a lot of the basics that the average entrepreneur simply doesn’t know. You can watch the first one here.

One thing that is definitely going to be needed is a glossary. It was kind of funny when he suddenly realized that most people simply aren’t familiar with a fair number of words that one tends to take for granted in that world.

They never learn

Supreme Dark Lord‏ @voxday
It’s only a matter of time before the rest of the #FakeRight AKA Dicky Spencer’s Dance Party is outed as gay Jews.

Eli Mosley‏ @ThatEliMosley
Don’t be jealous because @RichardBSpencer owns the rights to a book you want to publish you greedy book merchant. Stick to vyda and comics.

Supreme Dark Lord‏ @voxday
We are helping an author whose own publisher won’t even RESPOND TO HIS EMAILS.  As we have done for other authors with other publishers.

Supreme Dark Lord‏ @voxday
Richard Spencer has not responded to repeated requests for arbitration specified by the contract by the author. You know this, Eli.

Ember Wolf  ?‏ @EmberWolfTMNM
Have you and Concernovich been drinking from the same glass in the past day? There’s something in that water.

Eli Mosley‏ @ThatEliMosley
If you’re asking if they collude because they are saddened by their shrinking relevance compared to us, then yea. Same shit.

Supreme Dark Lord‏ @voxday
And that was after TWO FREAKING YEARS of no royalty statements or payments. Totally irresponsible and incompetent.

Eli Mosley‏ @ThatEliMosley
So you’re admitting that you’re attacking him purely because of business reasons and not because you actually believe your own BS? Got it.

Supreme Dark Lord‏ @voxday
No, the way he runs his business merely confirms his lack of integrity, which I had suspected on the basis of his political actions.

Supreme Dark Lord‏ @voxday
You told me yourself that he is a complete fuck-up when it comes to details and organizational matters. Weren’t you supposed to fix that?

Keep in mind that the book in question came out in 2013 and currently stands at  #684,934 in Books and #651,423 in Kindle. These Fake Right clowns literally do not understand the concept of acting on principle or helping people simply because it is the right thing to do.

Which tends to lead one to suspect that when they accuse everyone else of being shills and merchants, they are projecting on that score too. What I can’t understand is what benefit they can possibly derive from clinging to the rights to the author’s book when they’re barely selling any copies anyhow.

And how is Richard Spencer going to accomplish anything at all when he can’t even successfully run a tiny publishing house that is a fraction of the size of Castalia House? It’s absolutely no surprise to me that his little marches and demonstrations have turned out to be debacles in light of what I’ve learned about his organizational capabilities.
