Last year was a good year for the blog. The number of visitors and commenters has increased significantly, there are still a fair amount of intelligent comments mixed in with the usual nonsense, and all of this occurred in spite of the blog becoming more unrepentantly quixotic than it had been previously.
There are bigger blogs and there are better blogs, but there is no blog where the blogger enjoys himself more thoroughly. This looks to be an interesting year ahead of us, in every sense of the term, so keep your mind open, your bookshelf stocked, and your gun handy.
