He didn’t read the book

SJWAL didn’t reach New Zealand in time to prevent one gentleman from cutting his company’s throat by apologizing:

On the company’s Facebook page Mr Garratt offered his apologies.

“We apologise to all those who have been offended by our sign. It was very poor judgment on our part.”

In an earlier post, he said there was no offence intended.

“It was not our intention to offend any people in the community … Cait is more then [sic] welcome to stay at my house with my family anytime. I will have a wine or a beer with her quite happily and it would be an honour.”

Rebecca Jones, the mother of a 9-year-old transgender boy, was not satisfied and wanted a “face-to-face apology”.

“He seems to think a donation is enough. It is not,” she said. “I want an apology to my 9-year-old son AND a donation, and the transgender community is behind me on this.”

Ms Jones said he was just trying to “save his reputation”.

Well, he’s not going to be able to do so. When you find yourself in a position of repeatedly apologizing to child abusers – and as Camille Paglia says, treating a child as if he is “transgender” is child abuse – that should be your first sign that your strategy is less than entirely effective.

What part of NEVER APOLOGIZE is hard to understand? When someone comes to you and demands an apology, there is only one correct response: “No, absolutely not.”

An apology to SJWs is no different than a confession to the police. It is not the end of the matter, it is something to be delivered to the prosecution.

Standing up to SJWs

Even before I was doing it, even before #GamerGate, Doug TenNapel, the creator of Earthworm Jim, was standing strong against them:

For more than a decade, the comics, cartoons, animations, and video games of Doug TenNapel have been entertaining millions. Yet a single opinion that swam against the tide of progressive opinion caused him to be subject to years of attacks from an all-too-familiar mob of online public shamers.

TenNapel has a long and accomplished career in entertainment. He’s the man behind Earthworm Jim, a 1990s smash-hit video game that spawned a cartoon series and a toy franchise. He has written an episode for the popular animated series’ Adventure Time and acted as a guest animator for Spongebob. His most recent creation is Armikrog, a point-and-click puzzle game created with stop-motion animation.

Despite his obvious talents, there’s a niggling aspect of TenNapel that continues to cause him problems: he’s a Christian Conservative. In addition to his other creations, he’s the series writer and executive producer for VeggieTales in the House, an animated series popular with Christian families. He has also designed the cover art for a number of Christian rock bands.

In the liberal, progressive world of arts and entertainment, it was only a matter of time before such an unfashionable background got him into trouble.

If you want to support Doug, his new game, Armikrog, is 50 percent off on Steam for the next two hours. VFM, if you’re on Twitter, tweet the article.

I should probably also mention that in the new year, we will have some exciting news to announce concerning Mr. TenNapel and Castalia House.

Grow up or get out!

A Christian university president’s message to SJWs:

This past week, I actually had a student come forward after a
university chapel service and complain because he felt “victimized” by a
sermon on the topic of 1 Corinthians 13. It appears that this young
scholar felt offended because a homily on love made him feel bad for not
showing love. In his mind, the speaker was wrong for making him, and
his peers, feel uncomfortable.

I’m not making this up. Our culture has actually taught our kids to
be this self-absorbed and narcissistic. Any time their feelings are
hurt, they are the victims. Anyone who dares challenge them and, thus,
makes them “feel bad” about themselves, is a “hater,” a “bigot,” an
“oppressor,” and a “victimizer.”

I have a message for this young man and all others who care to
listen. That feeling of discomfort you have after listening to a sermon
is called a conscience. An altar call is supposed to make you feel bad.
It is supposed to make you feel guilty. The goal of many a good sermon
is to get you to confess your sins—not coddle you in your selfishness.
The primary objective of the Church and the Christian faith is your
confession, not your self-actualization.

So here’s my advice:

If you want the chaplain to tell you you’re a victim rather than tell
you that you need virtue, this may not be the university you’re looking
for. If you want to complain about a sermon that makes you feel less
than loving for not showing love, this might be the wrong place.

If you’re more interested in playing the “hater” card than you are in
confessing your own hate; if you want to arrogantly lecture, rather
than humbly learn; if you don’t want to feel guilt in your soul when you
are guilty of sin; if you want to be enabled rather than confronted,
there are many universities across the land (in Missouri and elsewhere)
that will give you exactly what you want, but Oklahoma Wesleyan isn’t
one of them.

You will notice that unlike Missouri president Tim Wolfe, who resigned in the face of SJW pressure, Mr. Piper will be keeping his job. About the only thing that could possibly have been better is if he announced that he had expelled the SJW student who complained. And talk about sticking the rhetorical landing!

“This is not a day care. This is a university!”

As the brand name universities succumb to social justice convergence, the Christian universities will rise in both educational value and social cachet. Which is why they need to set policies in place to defeat SJW entryism now.

The final five percent

Now you know why SJWs are constantly telling us that we are -phobic. Third Law. This recent Twitter exchange, which an old acquaintance brought to my attention, is extremely amusing.

V. aimmyarrowshigh ‏@aimmyarrowshigh
Pre-emptively block V/ox D/a/y, for your own safety. Literal safety.

Ella Dawson ‏@brosandprose
@aimmyarrowshigh oh he’s blocked. I subscribed to a GG autoblocker like a year ago and it saved me from a WORLD of harassment this summer.

V. aimmyarrowshigh ‏@aimmyarrowshigh
Good, good. He’s a sociopath, and I don’t say that lightly.

Ella Dawson ‏@brosandprose
one look at his profile is enough to make that extremely clear.

V. aimmyarrowshigh ‏@aimmyarrowshigh
It makes me feel physically sick that men like that are still given sizable platforms and go unquestioned.

Ella Dawson ‏@brosandprose
Yup. I’m terrified 95% of the time.

In the interest of accuracy, I should point out that I am NOT a sociopath. While I am narcissistic and machiavellian, I score unusually high in empathy, so I am actually more anti-sociopathic than the average individual. It is merely my predilection for abstraction and my natural curiosity that makes me come off as sociopathic to the superficial observer.

The bad news is that because I can feel your pain, I am quickly able to learn which buttons one must push in order to inflict it upon you. I believe it may have been R. Scott Bakker who warned that the torturer you should fear most is the one who sheds tears as he works.

But as Supreme Dark Lord of the Evil Legion of Evil, I am pleased that I can give these women what they most want, which is fear. They need that heightened sense of drama in order to feel alive, and I am content to know that merely by acknowledging the fact of their existence, I can grant them what they crave.

Am I not kind?

In any event, it appears they do well to fear me in light of the intellectual company in which I am to be found these days.

Just one trick

And yet, it’s astonishing how well it works:

Progressives only have one good trick, and men keep falling for it.

They keep calling you a coward, so that you’ll do or say whatever they want to prove that you are not a coward.

If they want you to accept a group of outsiders, they call you a xenophobe to dismiss any rational concerns you might have about the motivations of strangers. The only way to prove you don’t have an irrational fear of foreigners is to welcome them with open arms and without questions.

If you question the sanity of a man who can’t be “who he really is” until someone surgically removes his dick, they call you a transphobe. The only way to prove you’re not afraid of trannies is to agree that transsexuals are not only sane, but heroic, and should be welcomed into any women’s restroom.

If you reject any demand made by any woman, you’re “just afraid of a strong woman.” This accusation has been repeated so many times that a substantial portion of the population actually seems to believe that men are at the very core of their being constitutionally terrified by any woman with “attitude.” There is probably some truth to this, but only to the extent that men would rather avoid the frustrating reality that no matter how strong a woman claims to be or what she says, no man or woman on earth will ever forgive a man for knocking her the fuck out. To prove they are not afraid of women, men end up giving women whatever they want, because they can’t stand up to women the way they stand up to each other.

Progressives get men to do whatever they want by manipulating our fear of being afraid. When you recognize this manipulation, you’ll begin to see it in nearly every argument appealing to men and every progressive narrative written about men. Their strategy is to portray masculine men, even men who have demonstrated courage in battle or in legitimately heroic endeavors where they have faced and overcome fear, as being driven primarily by fear and a sense of inadequacy.

So stop being a coward by reacting in a kneejerk fashion to everyone who threatens to call you one. Either ignore or blithely agree with their attempt to disqualify you and carry on. That’s all they’ve got.

The personal is always political

David Gerrold’s announcement that he will unfriend the majority of Americans who support Donald Trump for president is a clear example of why it makes no sense to attempt to be friends with SJWs or even be civil with them. Time and time and time again, I see someone explain that so-and-so SJW “is really a good guy” or that this-and-that SJW “is fine as long as we don’t discuss politics”.

But politics is all-consuming for the SJW, and when push comes to shove, the SJW will ALWAYS choose his politics over you because his politics are an intrinsic aspect of his personal identity. You might as reasonably expect him to cut off a body part in order to preserve the relationship once the inevitable conflict arrives. The SJW is not your friend. The SJW is incapable of being your friend.

So don’t associate with SJWs. Don’t cut them any slack at all. Once a friend, a family member, or an acquaintance reveals symptoms of SJW, you should quarantine them as ruthlessly as you would quarantine them if they had ebola or some other lethal and infectious disease.

Be the problem.

Hipster Thanksgiving

It’s funny. But even funnier was Ed Driscoll’s comment on Instapundit: “I lasted about 30 seconds before wanting to go full ISIS on these people.”

It puts watching The Man in the High Castle in a whole new metacontext. No wonder people have been cheering for the bad guys. What was the point of winning WWII if the consequence was seeing American society degenerate into this sort of absurdity?

“Chris, where’s your plate?”

“I find plates to be extremely oppressive.”

“That’s how I feel about everything!”

“Yeah, I don’t need some inanimate disc telling me the alpa and omega of my Earth bounty.”

Wiki SJWs reject Breitbart

I thought it was interesting to see that Breitbart News is not considered a reliable source by Wikipedia. But Salon and Sam Harris’s blog and every other two-bit SJW site is.

Day is the Lead Editor at Castalia House, a book publishing company, where he has published the novels of such writers as John C. Wright, Tom Kratman, and Rolf Nelson.

The funny thing is that they left the actual text completely unsourced. So, apparently no source at all is deemed more reliable than Breitbart.

Social justice serves justice

It doesn’t happen often, so enjoy it when it does. Sooner or later, the revolution always eats its own:

Students staged a protest Wednesday inside the office of Princeton University’s president, demanding the school remove the name of former school president and U.S. President Woodrow Wilson from programs and buildings over what they said was his racist legacy.

Princeton President Christopher Eisgruber told the students he agreed with them that Wilson was racist and that the university needs to acknowledge that, according to a video posted to YouTube. But a school spokesman said the president also told students it is important to weigh Wilson’s racism, and how bad it was, with the contributions he made to the nation.

Hi-freaking-larious. Woodrow Wilson was one of the worst US presidents in history. He set the stage for many of the problems we presently face today and he should be a significant hero to SJWs.

But he was racist and therefore he has to go. I look forward to hearing about Mr. Eisgruber’s inevitable apology and resignation.

It’s going to be even more amusing when they eventually turn on Scalzi.

I am dangerous, Ice…man

The SF-SJWs are still spinning, spinning, spinning the Narrative in a desperate attempt to reclaim it:

On that note, what are your thoughts on the controversy around the Sad Puppies, the group who tried to rig the reader-voted Hugo Awards to favor “traditional” sci-fi works. It was clearly a powerful, angry, and organized reaction against the steady diversification of storytelling in sci-fi and spec-fic. What exactly is happening to this genre that’s so explosive and dangerous?

CP: White straight cis men are getting very upset because they feel they’re losing something when a more diverse set of stories is represented. On the one hand, they don’t have to worry—the share of representation of white straight cis male characters in sci-fi is maybe dropping from 98 percent to 95. But on the other hand, they’re right—they are losing some measure of dominance, and they should lose this. And I think acknowledging that challenges a fluffy teddy-bear idea of what an ally is—the idea that no one is going to lose anything. Being an ally requires giving shit up, which is what these people are not prepared to do.

CF: I think the throwing-the-toys-out-of-the-pram thing totally describes Brad Torgersen [sci-fi author and ringleader of the Sad Puppies]. I think Vox Day [another author, who organized an extreme offshoot of the Sad Puppies called the Rabid Puppies] is altogether a more sinister person, with really far-right politics and a desire to upset people to get attention. He’s a serious reactionary, traditionalist, religious, pseudofascist type—he even called leading spec-fic writer N.K. Jemisin an “uneducated half-savage” because she’s Black. And I think he saw Torgersen’s toy-throwing and said, “Here is a tool I can use to hurt people.”

It’s amazing to me how many SJWs simply cannot get the quote correct. Even when they’re attempting to kill-quote me in an article, they don’t quote it!

“Being an educated, but ignorant half-savage, with little more
understanding of what it took to build a new literature by “a bunch of
beardy old middle-class middle-American guys” than an illiterate Igbotu
tribesman has of how to build a jet engine, Jemisin clearly does not
understand that her dishonest call for “reconciliation” and even more
diversity within SF/F is tantamount to a call for its decline into
irrelevance.”

Granted, I understand the average SJW is not capable of following a sentence that long and complex, but how they go from “educated but ignorant” to “uneducated” is really quite remarkable.

But more importantly, SJWs always project. I don’t have any desire to upset people, and I certainly don’t seek attention. SF-SJWs always gloss over the fact that I was writing my political columns and participating as a member of SFWA for seven years without incident or undue attention until John Scalzi and Teresa Nielsen-Hayden saw fit to start publicly attacking me. Even after that, it was another eight years before I finally got around to taking the offensive and striking back.

Nor are those the only factual errors. But never mind those. It is more interesting to see how they have progressed from declaring me a complete nonentity to portraying me in much the way they are portraying Brad Torgersen now, to seeing me as a “sinister person”. To which I can only wonder, “what part of Supreme Dark Lord” did they not understand?

I suppose they find the fact that my minions are vile, faceless, and many, as well as the fact that I am the author of the book that has been #1 Political Philosophy for 14 straight weeks to be as ominous as it is problematic. It would be amusing indeed if SJWAL stays on top long enough to be dethroned by Cuckservative.

But if they are concerned now, well, just wait until next year.
