Putting theory into practice

As those who have read it know, in SJWs ALWAYS LIE, I repeatedly remind the reader to never apologize on demand. Yesterday, despite having issued a correction within three hours of making the original mistake, hundreds of SJWs attempted to put pressure on me and on Donald Trump Jr to apologize, retract, and delete our tweets.

The telling thing is that they put no such pressure on anyone else who had tweeted or retweeted the same image, including the people who had tweeted it before me. In other words, they didn’t give a damn about the actual situation or the two women involved – and make no mistake, it was not the second lady who was wronged, it was the first one who was misrepresented and falsely characterized by the media for the crime of supporting Donald Trump – they were simply looking to damage and discredit those they deem enemies dangerous to the Narrative.

To the younger Trump’s credit, he had the sense to refuse to apologize or retract. After all, he did nothing more than say that the media was unlikely to report something, and he was generally correct. I didn’t do anything at all, except state that I would be happy to delete the tweet if the second lady asked me to do so.

But when Twitter moved on to other, more interesting things, Donald Trump Jr. finally deleted his tweet, presumably at the advice of the PR professionals advising his father’s campaign. Needless to say, the few SJWs still paying attention promptly attacked.

Those responses are why you never give into SJW pressure to do anything. Anything you do in response to their pressure will be taken as a victory on their part and a moral failure on your own. I did nothing and gave no ground, except call out Olivia Nuzzi for her lies about me and about the younger Trump, and in less than 24 hours, the SJWs have largely vanished.

Never back down. Never apologize. Never show weakness. They are cowards and herd animals, and they will always retreat from those who don’t flinch in front of them. They wouldn’t be SJWs if they didn’t have short time preferences, so stand your ground no matter what they threaten and the storm will pass soon enough.

Now, don’t be pedantic about this; this does not mean you should not relinquish an indefensible position; it would have been stupid and a different form of weakness to insist that the second lady was the first lady once I saw another picture of her that made it clear she was not.

One last observation: the Twitter SJWs are remarkably incurious and rather less numerous than they pretend to be. Despite 191,014 organic impressions of the mistaken tweet (versus 11,628 of the correction they were so vehemently demanding), yesterday’s site traffic was 66,941 pageviews, nearly two thousand fewer than the 68,894 recorded two weeks ago.

The business of convergence

The Guardian is in the process of learning the hard way that employing SJWs and marketing to them is a very good way to lose considerable sums of money:

The costs of that conviction are now clear: The paper lost almost $120 million last year.

The Guardian has been something of an ultimate experiment in the migration from paper to digital publishing. The enterprise is supported by a trust set up in the 1930s by the Guardian’s founders, the Scott family from Manchester, wholly dedicated to the survival of the paper. While the trust envisioned providing the paper freedom from commercial pressure to let it practice unfettered journalism, the transition to digital is, in the estimation of the Guardian’s managers, the only path to journalism’s future — and a necessary cost, whatever it amounts to.  (Disclosure: I’m a former contributor to the Guardian.)

In order to underwrite the costs of this transformation, most of the trust’s income-producing investments have been liquidated in recent years in order to keep cash on hand — more than a billion dollars.

Translation: they should be tapped out and done in about 15 years.

Mailvox: Surviving SJW lies

An SJWAL reader explains that he never thought an SJW attack would happen to him, until it did:

I wanted to take a moment and thank you for your articles on dealing with SJWs and their nonsense. I bought a copy of SJWs Always Lie and have gotten about halfway through it before life kicked in the door.  I had a run-in recently with the very tactics you have written about.  Last Thursday our payroll person emailed me that the HR Manager needed to speak with me.  I called him and he informed me that he had some paperwork for me.  I asked him to fax it to a third party I was working with.  He declined because it contained personal information.  He then told me he would scan it and email it to me.

No scan on Thursday. I emailed him Friday about it.  No response.  On Monday, we exchanged instant messages.  He said he would stop by my desk.  That never happened.

Tuesday came and I had had enough.  I emailed him wanting to know where the scan was and why was it taking him so long to get it.  I included my third party on that email.  Well, that shook the tree good, and I finally got a response.

“I told you that you needed to come and see me,” was the response.  Lie.

I sent him back a copy of his instant messenger exchange and reminded him that I a) needed the scan and b) he never stopped by my desk. No response. 

Finally, I had enough and looked up his boss. I sent her an email detailing all the events of the last few days. I also apologized for having to intrude on her time to intercede on my behalf. About thirty minutes later, I had a response from her saying that my scan would be arriving shortly.  Fifteen minutes later it arrived.

Lesson: keep records and use them against the other side when they stray from the straight and narrow.

That was very well done. But it’s important for the reader to understand that even if he didn’t have an enemy in HR before, he most certainly does now. So, I would recommend filing a formal complaint against the HR employee, because he will likely need it as evidence that the guy has it in for him, is known to be dishonest, and is prone to trying to cover his tracks, for when the guy sees an opportunity and decides to take a shot.

Because we can be confident that he’s going to at the earliest opportunity, as per the 2nd Law of SJW: SJWs always double down.

This is why, if you haven’t read SJWAL yet, you really should do so in the interest of career self-defense.

Fire the SJW

Parents are calling on Nintendo to fire SJW and pro-pedophile Alison Rapp:

Nintendo is facing calls to sack a feminist employee who penned a highly controversial academic essay questioning whether it was morally correct to censor child pornography.

A number of people have taken to Twitter and urged the the Japanese firm to fire Alison Rapp, who works as a product marketing specialist for Nintendo of America and has been responsible for promoting some the family-friendly firms’ most famous games.

In 2012, she published a paper discussing child pornography in Japan, which has come under international pressure to tighten its laws on the depiction of underage sex.

Rapp, who wears a ring through her nose and tweets using the language of combative modern feminism, then drew the attention of male activists, who dug out the old paper earlier this year and began discussing it in Reddit threads and publishing articles on Medium.

Now anger has boiled over onto social media, with one furious parent calling for a boycott of Nintendo to “let them know we love our children more than to support someone like Alison Rapp”.

You know, I don’t think the SF-SJW support for pedophiles is going to go over any better than Alison Rapp’s has, once the mainstream learns about it.

SJWs: #GamerGate is a Nazi rally!

It’s really remarkable how many of these Nazi Rapist movements pervade the creative arts. I mean, we have been reliably informed that the Sad Puppies are neo-Nazis, the Rabid Puppies are neo-Nazis, Roosh has assembled a band of rapists around the world, and now CometCon has cancelled a #GamerGate panel including well-known Spanish #GamerGate Life artist Kukuruyo because Nazi. Kukuruyo explains:

Ok, i’ll explain as best as i can. The event Cometcon wanted to organize a debate about gamergate, and i was the main proponent. I wrote a text here about a month ago looking for people to participate in the debate so you may already know this.

The debate was at first going to be with several people invited to disscuss about it, but we didn’t find anyone against GG who wanted to participate. So we changed it to a small introductory talk, and then i would debate people from the public.

But then, a spanish webcomic artist known as RataUnderground (he does a comic called art 88/46) discovered it and sent them an email telling them we were going to do a nazi rally, that we were sexist and all the usual stuff. His fans and artist friends also talked the organization asking them to cancel the debate. *aparently it was not an email but a tweet telling them we are a harrassment campaign against feminists and then comments flowed from there until the “nazi rally” stuff.

Now, the organization is not really at fault. I know many of them, they wanted to do the debate, and they don’t like the attack on freedom of speech, but they also didn’t expected the backlash they would get, and they wanted to stay out of politics.

Following that i wrote to some of those artist in twitter to reprimand them for taking down the debate instead of debating me. I have asked all of them why they want to take down the debate instead of refuting me, if what we say is so easy to refute, but none of them seem to have an answer for that.

There’s a shitstorm right now on my twitter feed about that, with people from GG discussing with their fans and friends, but as you may guess, it’s all in spanish. But i can tell you that it’s going as usuall. Instead of arguments, they just say that we are misogynist and nazis, and that’s it. There’s a few people i have managed to debate a bit, but with no avail. Every time i refuted something they said they just moved goalposts and thats it. We even offered to make a skype debate to one of them, who was a journalist, but he refused because we were not important people oO.

Notice how the SJW tactics never, ever change? SJWs always lie. Perhaps it is time for GamerGate and other anti-SJW movements to begin their own con, from which SJWs are explicitly and specifically excluded.

Last year, during the lead up to the Hugos, I wrote a post about how this was more important than just a rocketship…. At the time, the idea that Donald Trump would be a serious front-runner for the Republican party was the fodder for jokes. It would never happen. But… if anyone was paying attention to what was happening in SFF, it should have been clear that the Rabid Puppies represented the same xenophobic, white supremacist drive that is giving Trump power.

Let me tell you, I’m terrified of the elections this year.

We’ve been writing dystopian novels as warnings for years. The Hunger Games? Reality Television as politics… not so far fetched right now, is it?

So let me be clear. The fight that is going on in SFF for inclusion is not small. It is not petty. It is a reflection of a much bigger problem, and if we, as a community, don’t start paying attention and trying to change the larger culture then we know how this will end.

Mary Kowall is a low-energy liar and a blatant cheater who bought over 40 Hugo votes last year. But “the Donald Trump of Science Fiction”? Flattering! Great honor!

(I have to admit, I thought her tweet on the subject was exactly eight percent funnier since it was about one “Theordore”.)

In any event, she’s right to be terrified of the elections. And she should be terrified of rather more than that. Little does she know what is on the horizon. Little does she know what is coming.

See, she totally meant to do that. They still don’t seem to grasp that anything they say about the Supreme Dark Lord can and will be used against them. And not only by me and the Vile Faceless Minions. Like the Republican establishment, the self-righteous SJWs of what presently passes for science fiction have absolutely no idea how deeply and broadly hated they are.

Look at the novels on the right sidebar of her site. Does that look like science fiction to you? Does it even look like fantasy? No, it’s fucking romance and that’s exactly how her Pink SF publisher is trying to sell it. To even call it Pink SF is a bit of a stretch.

And like the Republican establishment, the SJWs of Pink SF simply do not understand why so many people are absolutely delighted to be able to support the man those SJWs fear and hate, whether they agree with him on many things or not. I’m now seeing traffic levels the PSF-SJWs used to fantasize and lie about having, and a fair amount of that is directly due to them.

Yeah, it’s not Latin at all

It’s always amusing how the midwits at File 770 are locked into the position that everything I do must, by definition, be stupid, evil, and wrong. A couple of them are still striking poses about the title of Opera Vita Aeterna:

That title is crap Latin whether it is supposed to be Classical or Medieval Latin.

You can’t just write out strings of straight dictionary words of Latin and hope they mean what you want them to.

The change from Classical Latin to Medieval Latin was a little more like taking this:

    It’s a question of being or not being.

That Beale title is more the equivalent of

    Is! Is! Negate! Is! Yonder! Query!

Actually, it’s not Latin at all. I don’t speak Latin. I speak Italian. And it’s not actually proper Italian either, which would be Un’opera della vita eterna, but in the hallowed tradition of my fallen intellectual hero, Umberto Eco, I abbreviated it, then added an extra A to give it a Latinate flavor. I not only didn’t “just write out strings of straight dictionary words”, I didn’t use a dictionary at all.

Now, if the File 770ers were genuinely familiar with my writing, or were doing anything more than posturing and virtue-signaling, they would have criticized my bad Latin in Summa Elvetica, where I did actually write in what is actually supposed to be Latin.

Literally Wu proves SJWAL

Because SJWs always lie.

 [Larry Correia] and other conservative figures like Adam Baldwin are claiming that Twitter is breaking down on “free speech” and capitulating to the “SJWs,” which I guess means people like me. I have spent much of the last year asking Twitter and other tech companies to improve their harassment policies. There is one problem with Mr. Correria’s claim.

There is no evidence whatsoever for it.

None, zilch, zero. It’s a fantasy. A similar lie is going around that Twitter has put Anita Sarkeesian in charge of their Trust and Safety council, which is similarly baseless. I’ve spoken with a lot of tech companies in the last year and I have never heard anyone propose shadowbanning.

The only “proof” that Twitter is shadowbanning people comes from a disreputable conservative blog, that is so disreputable it cannot even be used as sourcing on Wikipedia. That blog used anonymous sourcing, and was written by someone with a personal axe to grind against Twitter.

The truth is, companies like Twitter are finally enforcing their own TOS if you threaten someone, dox someone, or set up an account specifically created to harass someone. That has led to some people being banned, and some accounts that perpetually break Twitter harassment rules to become deverified.

The backlash against Twitter is by people that prefer these system to remain as they are – a place where the women in your life will get rape threats, where anyone can have their private information posted, and where swarms of vicious mobs are destroying people’s reputation with slander.

The last I checked, almost 100 people have spread Mr. Correria’s baseless claim – and even more with Adam Baldwin. This is an important thing to fact check, and I hope you’ll share this to set the record straight.

Remember, Literally Wu is so stupid and dishonest that in addition to claiming that he is really a pretty, pretty girl despite conclusive evidence to the contrary, he once harassed himself without forgetting to log out of his other account first. He is as in complete denial of Twitter’s actions as he is of his own sex.

There is copious documentary and testimonial evidence that Twitter is shadowbanning various individuals on Twitter, among them me. Here is additional proof:

Some fantasy. It is telling that Twitter’s Committee of Public Safety isn’t saying anything, but has stalking horses running around publicly denying what Twitter is observably doing. Notice that the dates mentioned above just happen to correspond with the otherwise inexplicable decline and subsequent recovery of my impressions despite the number of my tweets being flat and the numbers of my followers increasing during the same period.

I’ve been a reader of Vox Popoli on and off for a few years now, but I was stupid because I didn’t think the SJW stuff was relevant to my life experience. Until it was:

The TL;DR version is that I volunteered hours and hours of my time at an indie horror site over the course of about 8 months, but once the SJW proprietor learned that I was a conservative, he kicked me off the staff and attempted to blacklist me in the indie horror community. Which is pretty much a non-threat, but he figures it’s a big deal.

The culture war is relevant. It really is everywhere, and there’re no more sidelines to sit on. You were right about all of it, and I’ve since purchased SJWs Always Lie to get the full story and learn the best tactics.

You must understand this: SJWs are out to get everyone who does not submit to their Narrative. EVERYONE. This includes you. The fact that they haven’t attacked you yet only means that you’re not currently on their radar.

But at least he’s learned his lesson. He’s right: “Your forbearance is weakness.”

Don’t be weak. Don’t be quiet. Don’t be an easy target. Make sure they know that if they come at you, even with the benefit of an amenable authority, they’re going to come away bloody even if they manage to win.
