As the football-watching worlds watches and waits for news as to where it will be watching Sunday Ticket in 2023, a new contender for the package has emerged. According to the New York Times, Google has made a bid for the out-of-market service. The games would be streamed through YouTube, which is owned by Google.

It would be HILARIOUS if Google acquired the rights to the Sunday Ticket. It wouldn’t be long before the audience would be cut in half, not because people were turning off the NFL, but because Google was thought-policing the audience and banning everyone whose political and religious views offended them.

No NFL for you!

Where Were These Guys 3 Years Ago?

Where were all these comedians suddenly defending free speech now that Dave Chapelle is being cancelled by venues when the comedian from whom Chapelle steals jokes was cancelled three years ago?

Most comedians contacted by OutKick slammed that decision, citing free expression concerns as well as how it might impact other comedians moving forward.

Podcaster and comic Adam Carolla mocked First Avenue‘s social media message explaining its decision.

“We believe in diverse voices and the freedom of artistic expression, but in honoring that, we lost sight of the impact this would have. I can’t stand when people talk about how much they love expression and free speech and in the same breath call for censorship and cancellation. Do you even hear yourself?” asked Carolla, author of the just-released book, “Everything Reminds Me of Something: Advice, Answers … but No Apologies.”

Openly conservative comic Nick Di Paolo slammed the cancellation as anti-American.

“They actually described Dave as danger to the trans community…Like they found the decomposing corpse of Chaz Bono and RuPaul under his house,” says Di Paolo, co-starring in the indie comedy “Fourth of July” with canceled comic Louis C.K.

“I love the fact we live in a country where a minuscule group of people … have the rest of the population terrified of their canceling power for lack of a better term,” Di Paolo says.

Where were these guys back when cancel culture could have been stopped in its tracks? For that matter, where were Clay Travis and Outkick?

The Matter is Settled

Scientist and Social Justician Titania McGrath not only explodes the myth of “biology”, but also answers the question that has plagued scientists and intellectuals for centuries.

Anyone who asks the question “what is a woman?” is thereby revealing that they have the intelligence of your average garden slug. This is why we shouldn’t trust these so-called “archaeologists” who claim to be able to determine whether those ancient skeletons they’ve uncovered are “male” or “female”. This is pure pseudo-science. Next they’ll be telling us they can work out their pronouns by measuring the femurs.

Let me settle this matter once and for all. A woman is anyone who says she is a woman. A woman is a feeling, a shimmering nimbus of possibility, an echo of distant dreams reverberating gingerly through a winter’s gloaming. She is a mewling constellation, a bagful of semi-felched pixies, the enchanted stardust that pirouettes luminously on the spindle of time.

This is logical and inevitable, in that science was defined as “anything that scientists do” more than a decade ago. Forget politics and self-determination, self-identification is now the ultimate scientific determinative.

Scientistry has now separated itself almost entirely from scientody. Which is why what scientists do can no longer properly be called “science” since their activity would be more accurately described, in dialectic terms, as “government-funded rhetorical cover for the dynamic techno-medical Narrative”.

Regardless, the fact is that what passes for science in the media is now reliably wrong. Like so many other institutions, it has been converged to the point of being inverted.

Before they do it for you, you thought criminal:

Halifax customers are closing their accounts today after its social media team told them to leave if they don’t like their new pronoun badges for branch staff in what is being branded one of the biggest PR disasters in British business history.

Britons have been pulling out millions of pounds in investments and savings as well as cutting up credit cards or transferring balances to rivals after they accused the bank of ‘alienating’ them with ‘pathetic virtue signalling’.

The row began this week when Halifax tweeted its 118,000 followers on Tuesday revealing that it would allow staff to display their pronouns on their name badges, in a post that read ‘pronouns matter’.

It showed a photo of a female staff member’s name badge, which featured ‘she/her/hers’ in brackets under the name Gemma, and said the policy was to help avoid ‘accidental misgendering’.

One customer replied: ‘There’s no ambiguity about the name “Gemma”. It’s a female person’s name. In other words, it’s pathetic virtue signalling and is seen as such by almost everyone who has responded to the initial tweet. Why are you trying to alienate people?’ Within 20 minutes a member of the Halifax social media team, calling himself Andy M, replied: ‘If you disagree with our values, you’re welcome to close your account’.

Andy M’s response has outraged customers, and seen hundreds claiming they will boycott the bank with many saying they have closed their accounts. Others have cut up their credit cards or getting rid of insurance policies.

It’s going to be fascinating to learn if corporations can survive without customers or if customers can survive without the services provided by corporations. Because it’s only a matter of time before corporations start exercising the rights they have granted themselves in their contracts of adhesion – the one-sided EULA statements to which one “agrees” by virtue of using the service or purchasing the product – to deny those deemed thought criminals their services.

On its website, Halifax say any customers they deem to be ‘transphobic’ could have their accounts closed.

Underneath a page titled ‘what we stand for’, they say: ‘We stand against discrimination and inappropriate behaviour in all forms, whether racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or ableist, regardless of whether this happens in our branches, offices, over the phone or online on our social media channels.

‘Such action may include account closure or contacting the police if necessary.’

And as we saw with Patreon, this self-granted corporate right to police customer behavior has been, in practice, expanded to include places and platforms that have nothing to do with the corporation itself. This is another reason why the BRICS economy is going to completely swamp the converged neoliberal economy.

Spiderman is Gay

On the plus side, at least Mary Jane is now available.

Disney-owned Marvel Comics is set to debut its first openly gay Spider-Man, with effeminate characteristics, dressed in lace, in an upcoming book due out in September.

The comic book company first informed fans of its plans with a June 16 solicitation, that described the new character as, “WEB-WEAVER: A not-so-mild mannered fashion designer at Van Dyne gets spider-powers and shows us a very different kind of Spider-Slayer,” according to Comic Book Resources.

But that is not the only notice revealed by company employees. Writer Steve Foxe also noted that he has the “huge gay honor” to introduce the first gay Spider–Man. “SURPRISE: I had the huge gay honor of helping to co-create WEB-WEAVER, who’ll make his debut in EDGE OF THE SPIDER-VERSE #5 this September!” Foxe wrote.

It’s really too bad Joe Bennett wasn’t able to continue his excellent work on RED HORNET, as we would have been introducing that right about now. But this sort of thing – below is the new and fabulous Spider-man” – is why Arkhaven Comics is the inevitable way of the future, however long it takes us to get there.

SJWs Discover Unintended Consequences

Academic SJWs at Stanford are alarmed to discover that when individuals are deplatformed from mainstream platforms, they build their own platforms and become even stronger. Naturally, their response to this is not to conclude that individuals should not be deplatformed, but rather that the platforms should be themselves deplatformed.

Previous research has found that deplatforming toxic users tends to decrease overall reach and income for content producers. However, while deplatforming users, apps, and companies on mainstream platforms may have resulted in a less toxic ecosystem and prevented the spread of hateful messaging on those platforms, it also helped materially preserve Gab as a platform and financially enriched its owners.

Our findings document several unintended real-world side effects of the deplatforming of both users and platforms, raising the possibility that other interventions on mainstream platforms such as downranking and limiting visibility might curb toxic content more effectively than shifting the problem elsewhere. If deplatforming is deemed the most desirable solution for a given scenario, it may be that this deplatforming would need to be more thorough and widespread to be effective. Hence, more study is needed in several areas:

• What dynamics and characteristics determine whether deplatforming is effective in reducing toxic message spread across the social media ecosystem as a whole?

• What is the real-world net effect of attempting to deplatform platforms or apps themselves, versus merely disabling or moderating user accounts on mainstream platforms?

• What determines whether a deplatforming will result in continued or increased revenue for its targets and associated communities?

• Beyond deplatforming toxic individuals and services, are further actions possible (or desirable) to ensure that revenue does not flow to toxic venues?

For example, payment processors have already cut ties with Gab—is there more that could be done to disrupt other financial flows? Answering these questions may prove crucial to developing more holistically effective Trust and Safety practices at the platform, infrastructure, and regulatory levels.

The eventual recommendation of the academics is obviously going to be putting pressure on hosting services, payment systems, the media, and even governments to deplatform and otherwise attempt to silence those who have been designated Toxic Content Producers, because the reduced interest in the mainstream-approved content, the inability of the mainstream platforms to produce profits, and the exposure of massive amounts of platform fraud, are making the alternative platforms increasingly competitive with their mainstream counterparts.

Of course, pursuing this course of action is eventually going to lead these academic SJWs to discover the same bitter reality that has recently dismayed the politicians of Clown World: while Toxic Content Producers are being deplatformed by Clown World, Clown World is itself being deplatformed by Toxic Content World, which happens to make up the vast majority of the planet and controls the vast majority of its resources.

The biggest winners of the Content Wars are going to be those who are able to successfully bridge The Great Bifurcation of the two semi-global economies, and the battle-hardening of those who have been repeatedly deplatformed, dehosted, and demonetized is going to give a massive advantage to the Toxic Content Producers.

They Devour Their Own

Having run all the sane, unconverged writers out of science fiction, the lunatic SJWs are now busily occupied with devouring their own. Some nonentity named Stephanie Burke who writes SF porn is crying about how people she didn’t know accused her, in public, of things she didn’t do and things she never said.

Why, can you even imagine such a travesty?

Home from Balticon and I will never return. I was accused of some nasty things, treated like a criminal, judged without proof save for hearsay, and stripped of my remaining panels. My only recourse is to make a complaint. My reputation which took close to 20 years to build is now destroyed. I am devastated. This is my complaint. I am angry and I am hurt and I am at a loss because all of the networking I have done here is dead. The publishers I wanted to talk to probably are hearing the lies.

The hilarious thing is the way it’s now clear that not even writing very bad sex novels, convincing your little boy that he’s a girl, having a mental illness, and declaring, with all sincerity, that “the G-word” (apparently Gypsy) “is equivalent to the N-word” is enough to save anyone from the SJW thought police these days.

Easy to Miss

I really thought it was going to be difficult to stop following the NFL when I first decided to drop my NFL GamePass two years ago. As it happens, they made it much, much easier to not pay any attention to the sport than I, a lifelong fan from the age of 5, could have ever possibly imagined.

Literally gay thought policing just isn’t something in which I have any interest.

Any US politician who knows the basic facts about China knows that our Party is founded for the people and nurtured by the people. What is the secret code of the CPC’s long governance success? It puts people first and believes that “The country is the people and the people are the country”.

It’s fascinating to see that I’m being denounced as a neo-Nazi White supremacist when my nationalist position is literally identical to that of the Communist Party of China. This may explain why I am treated with respect by the Chinese state media while being publicly denounced and defamed by the converged Swiss media.

Vox Day defines the alt-right as nationalist, opposed to globalization, gender equality, and committed to the “right to exist” of ethnically homogenous states. This places it on the extreme right of the European political spectrum.

Only in Clown World are Chinese Communists “on the extreme right of the European political spectrum”.
