Stick to the rape rape, fat boy

George Rape Rape Martin tries to put a little SJW spin on the Hugo Awards:

I had picked Mike Resnick in Short Form and Toni Weisskopf in Long Form, and indeed, each of them finished above all the other nominees in the first round of voting… but well behind No Award. This was a crushing defeat for the slates, and a big victory for the Puppy-Free ballot of Deirdre Moen. Honestly? I hated this. In my judgment the voters threw the babies out with bathwater in these two categories. Long Form had three nominees who are more than worthy of a Hugo (and one, Jim Minz, who will be in a few more years), and Short Form had some good candidates too. They were on the slates, yes, but some of them were put on there without their knowledge and consent. A victory by Resnick, Sowards, Gilbert, or Weisskopf would have done credit to the rocket, regardless of how they got on the ballot. (All four of these editors would almost certainly have been nominated anyway, even if there had been no slates).

((Some are saying that voting No Award over these editors was an insult to them. Maybe so, I can’t argue with that. But it should be added that there was a far far worse insult in putting them on the ballot with Vox Day, who was the fifth nominee in both categories. Even putting aside his bigotry and racism, Beale’s credential as an editor are laughable. Yet hundreds of Puppies chose to nominate him rather than, oh, Liz Gorinsky or Anne Lesley Groell or Beth Meacham (in Long Form) or Gardner Dozois or Ellen Datlow or John Joseph Adams (in Short Form). To pass over actual working editors of considerable accomplishment in order to nominate someone purely to ‘stick it to the SJWs’ strikes me as proof positive that the Rabid Puppies at least were more interested in saying ‘fuck you’ to fandom than in rewarding good work)).

It’s amusing how the SJWs in science fiction are claiming five awardless categories as a win while simultaneously trying to figure out how to prevent it from happening again next year. And, Martin demonstrates the truth of the observation SJWs Always Lie, as he tells a whopper about Toni Weisskopf when he claims she would “almost certainly have been nominated anyway, even if there had been no slates”.

The fact is Toni Weisskopf never even came CLOSE to being nominated prior to Sad Puppies 1. In 2012, she finished in 14th place. In 2011, 10th. In 2010, 11th. She wasn’t even trending in the right direction! Without the Puppies, she would never, ever, have received a nomination and the data shows that the 2015 Long Form nominees would have been virtually identical to the pre-Puppy years, including the aforementioned Liz Gorinsky, Beth Meacham, to say nothing of the Torlock who lobbied for the creation the award so he and his fellow Tor editors could finally win something, Patrick Nielsen Hayden.

And it’s fascinating to hear this particular fat old white man speaking about the “bigotry and racism” of this particular American Indian. A few of you will know why. In any event, my credentials as an editor – the correct word is plural, Georgie, perhaps someone can explain that to you – are observably better than Rape Rape’s editor, considering how fat with filler his recent novels have become.

But here is a free piece of editorial advice for you, Rape Rape. I know you like it an awful lot, but even so, I recommend you include a little less rape and deviant hate sex in your next book and a little more conventional human affection between men and women who actually love one another. The world you have created is not grim and realistic, it is a cartoonish and nihilistic nightmare. And worse, it’s gotten really boring.

Martin is also lying about there not being any anti-Puppy party. As Chaos Horizon has demonstrated, there were observably six different statistical factions voting in the 2015 awards.

Core Rabid Puppies: 550-525
Core Sad Puppies: 500-400
Sad Puppy leaning Neutrals: 800-400 (capable of voting a Puppy pick #1)
True Neutrals: 1000-600 (may have voted one or two Puppies; didn’t vote in all categories; No Awarded all picks, Puppy and Non-Alike)
Primarily No Awarders But Considered a Puppy Pick above No Award: 1000
Absolute No Awarders: 2500

2,500 Absolute No Awarders, up from 600 in 2013. They exist, Rape Rape. Unlike you, statistics don’t lie. We know who the SJWs are. The maximum number of principled “No Slate” voters was 285; that’s how many people voted No Award over Guardians of the Galaxy compared to the 2496 who voted No Award over Toni Weisskopf, the 2350 who voted No Award over Kirk Douponce, and the 2672 who suddenly decided that 38-time nominee and 5-time winner Mike Resnick was no longer worthy.

The post-awards spin that the 2,500 SJWs in science fiction voted No Award on the basis of unmerited nominees simply doesn’t hold up to either statistical analysis or a comparison with past Hugo winners.

SJW drama queens

Apparently it is very exciting for the little rabbits to claim that they have ventured forth from the warren and dared the wrath of the terrible Elil lurking outside. Even when they haven’t.

Larry Felton Johnson @larryfeltonj
I’ve been visited and tagged by everyone from Adam Baldwin to Vox Day since I sent those tweets.

Max Waters @rmaxwaters
I doubt that @voxday can be bothered to notice you exist.

Vox Day @voxday
I don’t know who he is and I have never visited or tagged him.

Larry Felton Johnson @larryfeltonj
I’ve achieved a hat trick. Vox Day, Adam Baldwin, and Mike Cernovich have dropped by to chat with a guy who writes about SPLOST projects

Vox Day@voxday
.@larryfeltonj Who are you, what is SPLOST, and what “chat” are you talking about? Twitter shows “from:voxday to:larryfeltonj = No results”

Larry Felton Johnson ‏@larryfeltonj
You left me tagged in this crazy convo.  SPLOST is a GA specific taxation method.  You have no need to wonder who I am.  My tag

Vox Day @voxday
.@larryfeltonj I have not been involved in this conversation. I neither know nor care you who are. But I’m sure you’re very brave and all.

It’s harmless enough and I don’t mind. I just find it amusing that I have become this mythic icon of terror among the lesser SJWs looking to make a name for themselves. I suppose it must be the mounds of skulls or something.

And it’s not as if we didn’t already know that SJWS ALWAYS LIE.

Race is in the politics of the beholder

This makes for a fascinating juxstaposition. One of the nastiest SJWs at File 770 is actually dumb enough to try to play race police:

Aaron on August 19, 2015 at 5:48 pm said:
Also the comment that the Pups are led by “a latino, a white, and an indian”. They keep pushing that line of bullshit like they think it will convince anyone outside their little circle-jerk.

I have to admit, it’s a line of argument I’d never considered. If I was Aaron, I would simply explain to critics that my “half-savage” remark about N.K. Jemisin could not possibly be considered racist because she is not black.

I have asked Mike Glyer to warn Aaron about his race-policing lies because “that line of bullshit” happens to be absolutely true. I am without question an American Indian. I have the family tree, the DNA results, and the tribal connections to prove it beyond any shadow of a doubt. I am not a one-sixteenth Cherokee princess, as the New Republic’s Jeet Heer and others have suggested.

Larry Correia is Portuguese, concerning which “Brazilians, who do not speak Spanish, are Latinos, but
Portuguese who share the Iberian Peninsula with Spain may not want to be
called “Latino” or “Hispanic.” And the U.S. Department of Labor also
allows people to self-designate as a Hispanic, if they are Portuguese,
and it cannot be contested.”

So, our racial affiliations are being denied by self-appointed race police even as another fake African-American SJW has been unmasked, this time by Milo.

International media went nuts today when Breitbart revealed evidence suggesting that prominent Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King is in fact white — and that, when challenged, King did nothing to deny the allegations that he is Caucasian.

Over a hundred media outlets from all over the world, including the Daily Mail, the Daily Beast, the New York Daily News, Salon, Sky News and the New York Post, covered our explosive scoop, which also alleged that King misled media mogul Oprah Winfrey by applying for and accepting an “Oprah scholarship” to historically black Morehouse College.

My favorite response is the ridiculous defense offered by vox.com, which is that race “isn’t derived by biology”:

A person’s race isn’t derived by biology; it is instead set by society and a person’s own identity. As Jenée Desmond-Harris previously explained for Vox, Americans embraced the concept of race to justify treating some people better than others. And since race is arbitrary, different people can genuinely disagree over who counts as white, black, brown, or any other racial identity…. Although race may have no biological basis, social perceptions of race play a huge role in people’s lives — and could impact King’s place in the Black Lives Matter movement.

Remember, SJWs not only think they’re morally superior to you, but they’re smarter and better-educated too. In fact, they’re delusional and operating in complete defiance of history, science and observable reality.

UPDATE: There goes the SJW Narrative. Again:

Shaun KingDuring a segment on #BlackLivesMatters activist Shaun King and the allegation he isn’t black at all, CNN host Don Lemon revealed that he had spoken to a family member of King’s who confirmed he was white. “A family member tells CNN that both of King’s parents are white,”Lemon said on Wednesday night’s edition of CNN

Go ahead and talk to my family members about whether I’m Indian and Mexican. Hell, you won’t even have to talk to them.

Sic semper SJW

I wonder how many more SJWs will need to directly experience the full consequences of Equality, Diversity, Tolerance, and Progress before they finally come to their senses and abandon their mindless, unquestioning faith in the mirage of social justice:

A former congressional intern killed aboard a Metro train in Washington, D.C. on Independence Day was repeatedly punched and stabbed during a struggle with his attacker, witnesses told police, according to documents made public Tuesday.

Jasper Spires, 18, is charged with killing 24-year-old train passenger Kevin Joseph Sutherland.

According to CBS D.C., Sutherland was a recent graduate of American University and previously interned for Connecticut Congressman Jim Himes on Capitol Hill.

Spires appeared in court Tuesday and was ordered held in jail until at least his next court date on July 17.

Court documents say one witness saw Spires attempt to take something from Sutherland’s waist area and that they struggled over the item before Sutherland was punched and stabbed in his chest, back, sides and arms. The witness says Spires threw Sutherland’s cellphone at him as he lay bleeding on the train car’s floor.

Now, we don’t know for certain that Mr. Sutherland was an SJW, but the evidence points that way since The Democratic congressman for whom he interned certainly is one, as was Sutherland himself.

Civil Liberties and Civil Rights
In 2009-2010 the Human Rights Campaign gave Himes a rating of 100% due to his stance on human rights and liberties. This rating also extends to his position on sexual orientation and gender identity.

Immigration
In 2009-2010 the American Immigration Lawyers Association gave Himes a rating of 100% due to his stance on the defense of immigrants in the U.S.

I’m sure you’ll be surprised to learn that Congressman Himes supports gun control. Some might think this murder was a tragedy. It wasn’t, any more than it is when some lunatic decides to jump into a tiger’s cage. Only it was even more stupid.

The most replaceable SJW institutions

I’m working on a list for the book. Wikipedia is at the top of my list, for various reasons, but I’m interested in hearing more ideas for SJW-infested institutions that can be most easily replaced with alternatives.

For example, WPP, the advertising giant, would be hugely significant, but it would be very, very difficult to effectively provide an alternative to it. And I don’t even know that it is the advertising agency most responsible for pushing various SJW memes via advertising anyhow.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is probably the most important SJW institution at the moment due to the $3.3 trillion it is giving away on an annual basis, but obviously, it’s not going to be easy to produce an alternative to that either.

So, if you have ideas on this score, please make your case.

They really hate the classics

When the pinkshirts in science fiction talk about wanting to destroy Campbellian SF, they’re not being ironic or kidding. They seriously believe that Pink SF is better and genuinely want to eradicate old school Blue SF/F because it is too outdated, offensive, and problematic.

I read the 100 “best” fantasy and sci-fi novels – and they were shockingly offensive. Why are so many of NPR’s list of best science fiction books so misogynistic, and why can’t we move past our nostalgia for them?

When
it comes to the best of anything, what do you expect? If it’s science
fiction and fantasy novels you want epic adventures and getting out of
impossible situations. But what you often get is barely disguised sexism
and inability to imagine any world where women are involved in the
derring-do.
At
the end of 2013, after a year of reading very little, I decided to
embark on a challenge: read all the books I hadn’t yet read on
NPR’s list of 100 best sci-fi and fantasy novels.
Nostalgia permeates the list. Of the books I read, there were more
books published before 1960 than after 2000. The vast majority were
published in the 1970s and 1980s. There were also many sci-fi
masterworks or what were groundbreaking novels. However, groundbreaking
30, 40, 50 or 100 years ago can now seem horribly out of date and
shockingly offensive….

Recent controversy

I’ve been acutely aware of the ferocious debate in the science fiction and fantasy community about representation (the recent controversy over the Hugo awards is a case in point), so I should have been somewhat prepared for this relentlessly depressing string of disappointing novels. But with the dogged determination of reading through the list, it really grinds you down. How can people actually defend the status quo when it’s so obviously awful? Putting these books on a pedestal, given how problematic the portrayal of women and other minorities, is surely part of the problem?

Frankly, from my vantage in 2015, it was just plain weird to read books where there were hardly any women, no people of colour, no LGBT people. It seemed wholly unbelievable. I know what you could say: it’s science fiction and fantasy, believability isn’t one of the main criteria for such books. But it is relatively absurd that in the future people could discover faster-than-light travel, build massive empires and create artificial intelligences but somehow not crack gender equality or the space-faring glass ceiling.

The consequence of the lack of women and the obvious sexism is that the books became very much like one another. My book reviews contained more profanity and I became a much more harsh critic of the genres I most enjoyed reading. They were all the same story of white guys, going on an adventure….

I can understand how many of the books on the list may have once been
groundbreaking but that doesn’t mean that they are now the best examples
of the genre. They have been supplanted, hundreds of times over, by
other authors that took similar themes but made them better and more
inclusive.

They genuinely believe throwing in a few men-with-tits and white men with colored skin – which is as far as their attempts at diversity generally go – somehow magically improves a book. Of course, the general public disagrees, as the continued decline in SF sales demonstrates.

The bonfire of the SJWs approaches

As I mentioned previously, SJWS ALWAYS LIE: Taking Down the Thought Police will be released on August 27, 2015, the first anniversary of #GamerGate. I thought those of you looking forward to the book might be interested in seeing yet another excellent cover by JartStar.

As you can see, the cover is an homage to another political book well-loved by the Left, Jonah Goldberg’s Liberal Fascism. But SJWs is a lighter read, it’s meant to be a book that serves as a handbook and a reference for those who already oppose the self-appointed thought police as well as an evangelical tract that can be used to convince neutral parties that the SJWS are a serious problem and a direct threat to them even though they may be currently unaware of it. In other words, it’s written more in the vein of The Irrational Atheist than The Return of the Great Depression.

There is a chapter devoted to GamerGate, a chapter devoted to the Hugo Awards, and a chapter that contains a systematic breakdown of the standard SJW attack sequence as well as recommendations on how to respond to it. It contains a few surprises, as well as a few elements that will not be a surprise to anyone at all. It is my hope that SJWs will prove but one of many useful weapons to people across the West as the long-overdue counterattack against the thought and speech police grows and gains momentum.

It will be initially available in ebook, but we expect to have a hardcover out before the end of the year.

Apparently the schools were closed today

Phil Sandifer found himself free to continue our previous debate, with about the same level of success as last time:

Phil Sandifer @PhilSandifer
Just because I feel like some issues have been unfortunately muddied in a debate about lines being crossed, some reiterated points.

Phil Sandifer @PhilSandifer
Lou Antonelli is a fascist dickbag and loathsome human being.

Phil Sandifer @PhilSandifer
John C. Wright is a fascist dickbag and loathsome human being.

Phil Sandifer @PhilSandifer
Vox Day is a fascist mega-dickbag and less a human being than one long sequence of junk DNA.

Phil Sandifer @PhilSandifer
Any other Sad/Rabid Puppies are at best fascist collaborators, and while loathsome might be too strong, definitely kinda suck as people.

Vox Day @voxday
That’s so meaningful coming from a pagan paedophile who really likes books about child abuse and gender confusion.

Vox Day @voxday
Phil Sandifer’s idea of “fascism” is “standing in opposition to the child molesters in science fiction”.

Vox Day @voxday
I have no doubt that one day Phil Sandifer’s name will be ranked among the big names in SF: Asimov, Bradley, Breen, Delaney, and Kramer.

I’m sure all the Sad and Rabid Puppies will be as deeply concerned about what this creepy piece of human flotsam thinks about them as I am. However, of all his increasingly furious subsequent tweets, I think this one was my favorite:

Phil Sandifer ‏@PhilSandifer
Honestly, I still have deeply mixed feelings about having been as courteous as I was. No platforming may well have been wiser.

Now, I know SJWs always lie, but even so, I continue to find it remarkable that they are willing to strike such ludicrously unconvincing poses in public. Do they seriously believe anyone finds them even remotely believable? Sandifer talking about “no platforming” me is about as credible as the free newspaper in Des Moines debating whether it should “no platform” Donald Trump or not. It’s simply not an option; Sandifer contacted me, he actively pushed for the interview with me, and as has so often been the case in the past, I had no idea who he was until he started attacking me.

Being an SJW, Phil “Lollipop” Sandifer couldn’t help doubling down:

Phil Sandifer ‏@PhilSandifer
Just like his pathetic father, who probably abused him.

Vox Day @voxday
No, Phil, my father loved me and treated me well. SJWs always project. Is that why you look like a creepy child molester?

Phil Sandifer ‏@PhilSandifer
To be clear, when I say Vox Day has the Innsmouth Look, I’m not saying he’s subhuman. Although we are not equally homo sapiens sapiens.

Vox Day ‏@voxday now
Better an aquatic heritage than the “there are four little boys buried in my garden” look that you’re sporting, Phil.
