Freedom Wins in Austria

Clown World’s media pretends to be shocked that a party opposing futile permawars and migrant rape should prove to be popular.

Austria’s hard-right Freedom Party has topped the country’s national elections, winning the popular vote for the first time in its history. While the party has been in government several times, it’s the first time it has won the most votes, having gained the support of 29.1 per cent of electors, according to projections based on more than 60 per cent of the votes counted.

But even with the victory, it is still uncertain that the party will be able to form the next government.

Its leader Herbert Kickl, 55, has vowed to transform the country into ‘Fortress Austria’, slamming the current government’s ‘failed migration policy’ as being to blame for the Islamist terror plot on a Taylor Swift concert. Mr Kickl and his party have promoted ‘remigration’, the controversial concept which promotes the expulsion of immigrants of non-European ethnic backgrounds who are deemed to have failed to integrate.

And a reminder, as if any was needed, that conservatives are always worse than useless.

Based on current projections, the conservative People’s Party, led by current Chancellor Karl Nehammer, is on course to become the second largest group, with 26.3 per cent of votes. Addressing his party’s result, Mr Nehammer said it was ‘bitter’ that it missed out on first place, but noted that he had brought it back from lower poll ratings. He once again ruled out a coalition with Mr Kickl, adding ‘what I said before the election, I also say after the election.’

I May Have Been Wrong

About a month ago, in the leadup to the LDP leadership contest, I theorized that if Shigeru Ishida was chosen, it might signify Japan beginning to move away from Clown World.

There are some hints that Japan may be starting to break with Clown World. If Shigeru Ishida succeeds Fumio Kishida as Prime Minister, it would possibly signal a shift toward China.

And while Ishida did manage to win the party leadership, his call for an Asian equivalent of NATO would appear to suggest that he’s not any better than the obvious Clown Worlders. Of course, we must keep in mind that the Japanese often keep their thoughts to themselves, and that an Asian NATO including China would be a very different creature than an alliance formed to oppose it.

In brief comments made to lawmakers before the run-off, Ishiba called for a fairer and kinder Japan and tears welled in his eyes after the final results were read out.

“I will do my utmost to believe in the people, to speak the truth with courage and sincerity, and to make this country a safe and secure place where everyone can live with a smile on their face once again,” he said in a short speech.

Ishiba’s campaign focused heavily on security issues, and he has indicated he will push for more oversight over the United States’s use of its bases in Japan.

“He is seen as a defence expert. He has proposed the establishment of an Asian-style NATO. And he is likely to continue with a more assertive Japan on the international stage,” said Al Jazeera’s McBride.

Following the result, China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Beijing wants to improve ties with Japan, because “the long-term, sound and steady development of China-Japan relations serves the fundamental interests of the two peoples.”

Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said, “It’s the only appropriate choice.”

China certainly doesn’t appear to object to Ishida. So this will remain something on which the astute observer should keep an eye.

Attack on Trump Rally

This time, it was aimed at the supporters:

Arizona Globe journalist Christy Kelly has reported a troubling development following former President Donald Trump’s rally in Tucson, Arizona, last Thursday. Kelly noted that “as many as 20 people” were affected by these symptoms, all of whom were seated on the left side of the stage.

“Many supporters seated behind Trump onstage went to the ER after the rally with “blurred vision” and “burning” to the eyes. I spoke to several who still have not fully recovered. As many as 20 were affected,” Kelly wrote on X.

The cause of the symptoms remains unknown, and an active investigation is underway.

Supporters from the “Latinos for Trump” group were among the most severely impacted, including Pastor Eli Moreno and his wife, Francesca. Pastor Moreno described mild discomfort, but his wife’s symptoms were far worse. “Her vision blurred, her face swelled up, and we had to rush to the nearest Walgreens for help,” Pastor Moreno told Kelly. Mrs. Moreno’s symptoms persisted for several days, and despite treatment in the ER, she has been referred to an ophthalmologist for further care.

It sounds like a microwave attack or perhaps whatever technology produces the so-called Havana Syndrome. It seems more than a little strange that whoever is utilizing it would unleash it so openly, and against people who are doing nothing but attending a normal political rally, but we’ve clearly entered a period of High Weirdness that exceeds pretty much anything that the science fiction writers have managed to imagine.

Clown vs Clown

Now that the upcoming Japanese leadership struggle has begun, I previously observed that Shinjiro Koizumi was clearly a clown. Now it’s apparent that another leading candidate is as well:

A senior US State Department official has said that it is “too early” to talk about building a NATO-style bloc in Asia, after Japanese Defense Minister Shigeru Ishiba called on Washington to discuss the matter in more depth.

Ishiba, who is a leading candidate to succeed Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, called last week for the creation of an “Asian version of NATO” by “uniting” its various security arrangements in the region into a formal defense pact. “At least we should deepen our discussions on this topic,” he said.

Speaking at a conference in Washington, DC on Tuesday, Assistant US Secretary of State for East Asia and the Pacific Daniel Kritenbrink shot down Ishiba’s suggestion.

“It’s too early to talk about collective security in that context, and [the creation of] more formal institutions,” Kritenbrink said, according to Japan’s Nikkei newspaper. “What we’re focused on is investing in the region’s existing formal architecture and continuing to build this network of formal and informal relationships. And then we’ll see where that goes.”

One would think that after 70 years of US military occupation, signing up to play the role of Ukraine to China’s Russia would be the last thing that any Japanese politician would support. And yet, here we are. Clown World already set up an Asian NATO called SEATO, which collapsed in 1977, but now that China is posing a serious challenge, they’re having the Japanese take the lead on reviving it.

The Southeast Asia Treaty Organization (SEATO) was an international organization for collective defense in Southeast Asia created by the Southeast Asia Collective Defense Treaty, or Manila Pact, signed in September 1954 in Manila, Philippines. The formal institution of SEATO was established on 19 February 1955 at a meeting of treaty partners in Bangkok, Thailand. The organization’s headquarters were also in Bangkok. Eight members joined the organization. Primarily created to block further communist gains in Southeast Asia, SEATO is generally considered a failure because internal conflict and dispute hindered general use of the SEATO military; however, SEATO-funded cultural and educational programs left long-standing effects in Southeast Asia. SEATO was dissolved on 30 June 1977 after many members lost interest and withdrew.

It may well be that none of the leadership candidates are free of clown control, as I’m skeptical of both the female candidates, and particularly the young Digital minister. Which suggests that if Japan is going to break free and join the sovereign nations in the next ten years, it won’t be through the LDP.

Loomer or Lunatic?

Milo appears to have dropped the bomb at which CDAN appeared to be hinting last week.

In fundraising emails, Laura Loomer tells her fans that she has been targeted by the FBI for political persecution. They’ve blacklisted her from owning a gun, she says, which threatens her physical safety.
But Loomer’s account misses out a critical detail: It’s not her politics, but rather her fragile mental state that prompted the Bureau to block her from possessing a firearm. Far from singling her out, the FBI has bent over backwards to gently explain to Loomer why she is not a fit person to own a gun.

For instance, a letter they sent her in 2020, in response to her appeal, delicately cited the two involuntary psychiatric holds her own father, Jeff Loomer, had placed her under in the prior half-decade. I know because I’ve seen the letter they sent her in response to her appeal. I have a copy of it in my safe in Los Angeles.

And I know because Jeff, at first reluctant to speak with me, but eventually, once again fearing for his daughter’s mental health this week, confirmed it by telephone on Friday. Jeff, evidently frightened of his daughter, spoke in hushed tones about her emotional volatility and admitted she had attempted suicide several times. “I wouldn’t allow her a gun,” he admitted.

Laura Loomer has been diagnosed at various times and by various doctors as suffering from bipolar disorder, histrionic personality disorder, borderline personality disorder, and narcissistic personality disorder. Loomer’s mother, whom we are not naming today, is an alcoholic, manic depressive and suffers from bipolar disorder, in common with her daughter…

Loomer has two brothers. One is a violent schizophrenic who is permanently incarcerated in a psychiatric facility. He will never be released. The other also suffers from depression and mood disorders, and has been in and out of institutions all his life. We are not naming either brother for the sake of their privacy.

I’ve had very little contact with Laura Loomer. We exchanged a polite email or two back in 2015; she reached out to me for some reason I do not recall but probably had to do with the Trump campaign. And while I didn’t pick up anything beyond her being a garden-variety conservative grifter of the Ben Shapiro variety writ small, I was very confused by her subsequent attempt to run for Congress, given that she didn’t appear to have any substantial following of any kind.

However, whether it is Laura Loomer, Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro, Candace Owens, or any of an increasingly long list of individuals who purport to be offering advice or guidance of some kind, who listens to these people? I’ve never heard any of them say anything that is even remotely insightful or intelligent. At this point, I think it is vital to view anyone who is elevated by the media and provided even neutral coverage has to be regarded with deep skepticism, and preferably, kept at a reasonably distance.

As for the idea that she is, or ever was, having an affair with Donald Trump… let’s just be polite and say it can be safely dismissed.

Another Assassination Attempt

It appears Clown World isn’t confident it can execute another election steal:

Former President Trump narrowly survived yet another assassination attempt after a sniper with a scoped AK-47 rifle got within a few hundred yards of him as he played golf at his West Palm Beach, Florida club on Friday.

It is the second time a madman armed with an assault rifle has tried to kill the 45th president in two months.

Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said the suspect had taken cover near a chain-link fence between 300-500 yards away from Trump, but conceded, “with a rifle and scope like that is not a long distance.”

Law enforcement sources told The Post that the suspect is 58-year-old Ryan Routh of Hawaii.

He had set up a GoPro camera on the fence with the apparent intent of recording the shooting.

A Secret Service agent first spotted the suspect as he stuck the barrel of his rifle through a chain link fence on the outskirts of Trump International Golf Course West Palm Beach South. The agent, who was a golf hole ahead of Trump, opened fire on the suspect — who then fled the scene, Bradshaw told reporters Sunday night.

It’s a very good thing it wasn’t the Secret Service detail from the last attempt on duty. At this point, why not lock it down? Trump doesn’t need to be out exposing himself to the public in order to win.

He Had it Coming

A horrific case of lethal lutrinaphobia in Washington:

Horror erupted at a Washington marina when a child was dragged off of a dock and into the water by a territorial river otter.  The unnamed child, who was taking a stroll with his mother on the dock, was suddenly dragged off by a river otter in a rare attack at Bremerton Marina in Kitsap County on September 12.

The mother bravely fought back to get her child out of the water once they resurfaced. But the otter was unrelenting and bit the child in the arm as they were lifted into the air. The otter continued to chase them down the dock until they were out of harm’s way.

I think we all know that the “unnamed child” was obviously to blame. No otter would ever attack anyone without severe provocation that absolutely required action. It was clearly a case of justifiable assault, and what a tragedy that a noble otter should be hunted down and executed for merely defending himself and his territory. #TeamOtter

Reading the Tea Leaves

I strongly suspect Vance will soon be out as Trump’s VP, and will presumably be replaced by RFK Jr.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says he will campaign with former President Donald Trump and his surrogates in battleground states after suspending his presidential bid last month and backing the GOP presidential nominee.

“We’re planning a Make America Healthy Again tour where we’re going to visit almost all of those states,” Kennedy said Wednesday on NewsNation.

“So, I will be doing rallies in each of those states over the next 61 days,” he continued. “We want to, if we’re going to accomplish the mission that I set out to accomplish when I got into this campaign — end the censorship, end the surveillance, to get out of the Ukraine war and unravel the war machine and the chronic disease epidemic — the only way to do that is to get President Trump in the White House and me into Washington. So we’re going to pull out all the stops to make sure that happens.”

Remember, Trump never hesitates to fire people, probably because he is so terrible at vetting them in the first place. Vance not only isn’t helping him, he’s proving to be an embarrassment with all the political appeal of a bedraggled and soaking-wet mop.

I thought he was an absolutely horrible pick in the first place, and strongly suspect that he is a Gamma male, which indicates that he’ll either melt down under pressure or stab Trump in the back at some crucial juncture like Pence did.

We’ve already seen the Democratic candidate change, so the Republican VP candidate changing wouldn’t be a big deal in this bizarre “election” cycle, given that it’s very likely that none of the voting is dispositive anyhow.

Clown World “Democracy” in France

French President Emmanuel Macron refuses to accept the Parliament’s choice for Prime Minister.

Following consultations with the main political forces at the Elysée Palace on Friday and Monday, the head of state ruled out the appointment of Lucie Castets as prime minister, as demanded by the left-wing coalition.

According to Emmanuel Macron, “a government based solely on the program and parties” of the NFP “would immediately be censured by all the other groups represented in the National Assembly”. “The institutional stability of our country therefore requires that this option not be retained”, he thundered.
In the same text, the President of the Republic announced the launch of “a new round of consultations” starting on Tuesday with party leaders and “personalities distinguished by their experience in serving the State and the Republic”. A source close to Emmanuel Macron told Agence France-Presse on Monday evening that La France Insoumise, Rassemblement National and Eric Ciotti would not be invited to the new consultations.

Even before the announcement of Mr. Macron’s decision, the leaders of the Nouveau Front Populaire had announced that from now on they would only go to the Elysée “to work on the modalities of this cohabitation” with Ms. Castets at Matignon. None of the left-wing groups in the NFP coalition is therefore expected to go to the Elysée Palace on Tuesday.

All the left-wing parties have vehemently denounced Mr. Macron’s refusal to allow them to appoint a government, despite finishing top of the legislative elections. The national coordinator of La France Insoumise, Manuel Bompard, denounced on BFM “an anti-democratic coup de force that is being carried out on the basis of an argument that makes no sense”. “Emmanuel Macron’s communiqué is a disgrace”, said Marine Tondelier, National Secretary of the Ecologists. Communist Party national secretary Fabien Roussel felt that members of the presidential camp “don’t want the left and the ecologists to govern, they don’t want to respond to our citizens’ expectations for change”. “The Republic was born of the refusal of personal power,” wrote the Socialist Party’s first secretary, Olivier Faure, for his part, denouncing Mr. Macron’s decision.

In the evening, Manuel Bompard announced that a motion of impeachment against the head of state “will be presented by the Insoumis deputies to the bureau of the National Assembly in accordance with article 68 of the Constitution”, to oppose “an abuse of power”.

So, the Clown World “centrists” manipulated the electoral system to keep the nationalists out, and thereby handed the elections to the French Left. But, of course, they don’t want the Left to actually take power, because the Left is insane and will simply accelerate the process of turning power over to the nationalists.

Remember, this is the “democracy” that is supposed to be in demand all over the world. No wonder all the sovereign nations are looking at China and Russia and deciding that they’d better apply to BRICS.

RFK Endorses Trump

I’m not even paying attention to the fake horse race anymore. I largely stopped paying attention to what passes for US politics after the fake midterms of 2018 presaged the fake presidential election of 2020.

RFK Jr. endorses Trump as he suspends his campaign. The independent candidate’s exit will add yet another twist to the already chaotic 2024 race. Kennedy said that he’s suspending his campaign but remaining on the ballot in several states. He also said he was offered a role in a potential second Trump administration.

The independent candidate’s exit will add yet another twist to the already chaotic 2024 presidential race. Kennedy’s unorthodox views drew support from Democrats and Republicans. Both parties worried that he would be the biggest electoral spoiler in decades.

The presidential election remains incredibly close, and if even a fraction of Kennedy’s support moves to Trump, it could be decisive in swing states. “If you live in a blue state, you can vote for me without harming or helping President Trump or Vice President Harris, and red states the same will apply,” Kennedy said at the press conference. “But in about 10 battleground states where my presence would be a spoiler, I’m going to remove my name.”

I think there is considerable reason to doubt that any seemingly close election in the USA is genuine any longer. Democracy in the USA was always a strictly-limited illusion, but now it doesn’t appear to be anything more than pure theater.
