It’s also being reported that The office of the National Archives did not forward the alternate slates of electors to Congress because the Electoral Count Act permits them “to only pass along slates certified by the states.” So it looks like Pence can simply approve the Biden slates while claiming that he has no other choice.

Sadly, despite being told by my sources in Washington that Pence himself read this article and initially appeared to agree with it, it seems that Pence has decided to back away right as we come to the precipice; that he will refuse to save this Republic, and has in actuality now planning to betray President Trump at this, the final hour.

I always knew this would be an option for Pence. Should he really desire to betray Trump, all he had to do was keep his cards close to his chest, pretend to be an ally, and then flip at the last possible second in order to run out the clock and prevent Trump from being able to respond at all.

The GOP establishment is reportedly plotting with Nancy Pelosi to steal defeat from the jaws of victory on January 6th:

Vice President Mike Pence, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell have reached an informal backroom deal to expedite the January 6 challenge in the Electoral College and end it with a simple majority vote after a two hour debate, multiple Capitol Hill sources have confirmed to National File.

This comes after National File reported that McCarthy originally planned to work with Pelosi to change the January 6 rules so the challenge would not be allowed. McCarthy denied this, and our Capitol Hill sources now say that McCarthy instead pursued a backroom deal with Congressional leadership.

Our sources explain that McCarthy was motivated to form this loose plan due to fears that Rep. Liz Cheney will lead a revolt against McCarthy from the liberal wing of the Republican Party.

The informal agreement is to cap the debate at two hours, then have Congressional leadership gavel over any objections and pursue a scripted simple majority vote to confirm the electoral votes, National File’s sources explain.

One source noted that this will likely conjure images of the 2012 Republican convention, when former RNC Chair John Boehner ignored loud objections from former Texas Rep. Dr. Ron Paul’s delegates, and read from an already prepared script on a teleprompter instead.

I admire President Trump’s determination to give everyone the chance to do the right thing before lowering the boom. But at this point, I’d just as soon he declared himself God-Emperor for life and had every GOPe Senator and Member of Congress burned at the stake live on CSPAN.

Which, of course, may be the reason he is permitting all of these desperate machinations and shenigans prior to taking action.

Iowa Sen. Charles E. Grassley, the Senate president pro tempore, says he and not Vice President Mike Pence will preside over the certification of Electoral College votes, since “we don’t expect him to be there.”

UPDATE: Whoopsy, someone let the cat out of the bag.

A Grassley spokesman clarifies that the senator does not “have any indication Pence won’t be present.” Grassley, he said, was just trying to explain that at president pro tempore of the Senate, he would fill the chair if Pence does not show or steps out at points for a break… Grassley’s office clarifies that he was meaning to explain what would happen if Pence had to step away during Wednesday’s proceedings to count Electoral College votes. “Every indication we have is that the vice president will be there,” Grassley’s office said.

U.S. Attorney for North Georgia resigns, effective immediately

U.S. Attorney Byung J. “BJay” Pak resigned his position Monday, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia. In October 2017, Pak was sworn into the office. He previously served as an assistant U.S. Attorney from 2002 to 2008 and in the Georgia General Assembly as a state representative from January 2011 to January 2017. Pak’s office offered no further comment about the resignation.

I have no idea what it means, for good or for ill. But I doubt it’s unrelated to the election fraud in Georgia.

Now the Georgia government is accusing Trump of leaking the call. It hasn’t even been half a day, and the story already fell apart. This is just shameful. THIS DUDE IS LITERALLY ON VIDEO SAYING HE WAS THE ONE TO RELEASE THE CALL.

Contra the mainstream narrative, I didn’t think for one second that it was out of desperation that President Trump made that recorded phone call to the Georgia Secretary of State. It was the merciful act of a man willing to give his enemies one last chance to surrender.

Multiple rumors are swirling concerning the concession of the Biden-Harris team before January 6. One rumor suggests that the fake president-elect and fake vice-president-elect are angling for pardons in return for conceding. One rumor that appears to be solid is that the planned Biden inaugural parade has been canceled.

As I pointed out on November 22, this election crisis ends when Biden concedes. Because President Trump isn’t going to, doesn’t have to, and wouldn’t consider doing so for a second. And once Biden concedes, the Narrative will be shattered and President Trump can proceed with the clean-up process.

 U.S. Senators Cruz, Johnson, Lankford, Daines, Kennedy, Blackburn, Braun, Senators-Elect Lummis, Marshall, Hagerty, Tuberville released a joint statement today:

On January 6, it is incumbent on Congress to vote on whether to certify the 2020 election results. That vote is the lone constitutional power remaining to consider and force resolution of the multiple allegations of serious voter fraud.

At that quadrennial joint session, there is long precedent of Democratic Members of Congress raising objections to presidential election results, as they did in 1969, 2001, 2005, and 2017. And, in both 1969 and 2005, a Democratic Senator joined with a Democratic House Member in forcing votes in both houses on whether to accept the presidential electors being challenged.

The most direct precedent on this question arose in 1877, following serious allegations of fraud and illegal conduct in the Hayes-Tilden presidential race. Specifically, the elections in three states-Florida, Louisiana, and South Carolina-were alleged to have been conducted illegally.

In 1877, Congress did not ignore those allegations, nor did the media simply dismiss those raising them as radicals trying to undermine democracy. Instead, Congress appointed an Electoral Commission-consisting of five Senators, five House Members, and five Supreme Court Justices-to consider and resolve the disputed returns.

We should follow that precedent. To wit, Congress should immediately appoint an Electoral Commission, with full investigatory and fact-finding authority, to conduct an emergency 10-day audit of the election returns in the disputed states. Once completed, individual states would evaluate the Commission’s findings and could convene a special legislative session to certify a change in their vote, if needed.

Accordingly, we intend to vote on January 6 to reject the electors from disputed states as not ‘regularly given’ and ‘lawfully certified’ (the statutory requisite), unless and until that emergency 10-day audit is completed.

Biden lost. And everyone in Washington knows it.

The Littlest Chickenhawk is going to try to walk back his Never Trump statements after the events of the coming weeks. So don’t be fooled by his lies and misrepresentations.

Less than a month after Attorney General Barr’s Sgt. Schulz-style “I see nussing” imitation, the Department of Justice has finally detected election fraud:

Senior Adviser to the Justice Department John Lott reveals voter fraud was rampant in this year’s elections. In his new study, Lott revealed an unusual pattern of subtracting Trump votes from the final tally and adding excess votes to Joe Biden.

He found more than 11,000 Trump votes were subtracted in Fulton County, Georgia and another 44,000 Trump votes were wiped out in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

Lott also discovered that Biden received 289,000 “excess” votes across five battleground states and it’s unclear where those votes come from. President Trump shared the study on Twitter. He said elections officials gave Biden hundreds-of-thousands of fake votes.

However, it’s possible that Barr was only playing dumb. If you parse his words carefully, he was merely stating that the DOJ had not “uncovered evidence”, which did not necessarily mean that the DOJ was unaware of evidence that other parties had uncovered.

“The Justice Department has not uncovered evidence of widespread voter fraud that would change the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.”

The Arizona legislature just received some heavy reinforcements in their lawsuit against the corrupt Maricopa County supervisors

The Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich has filed a brief in support of Arizona legislature in the battle over whether the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors must comply with election-related subpoenas.

Earlier this month, the Maricopa Board of Supervisors voted 4-1 today defy the state lawmakers and resist complying with legislative subpoenas. Instead of allowing an audit, the board voted to file a lawsuit against lawmakers in state court, seeking to block the enforcement of the subpoenas.

The subpoenas were issued by Arizona lawmakers in response to claims that the election in Maricopa County was fraught with fraud. The lawmakers seek force county officials to allow an audit of the voting machines.

One might not unreasonably ask where the AZ Attorney General has been for the last eight weeks. But then, President Trump’s unprecedented exhibition of spinal steel has been causing the sudden discovery of backbones in some of the most unexpected individuals around the country.
