Their country?

The demonstration would have been more meaningful in Port-au-Prince:

A sizeable crowd of expatriate Haitians, waving their country’s flag, gathered near the foot of a bridge leading to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, to jeer at Trump as the motorcade returned from the golf club where the president capped his weekend before returning later Monday to Washington.

The Haitians and their supporters shouted, “Our country is not a shithole,” according to video posted by WPEC-TV, and engaged in a shouting match with the pro-Trump demonstrators who typically gather on the other side of the street.

Their country? I thought they were Americans now by virtue of the magic dirt. Interesting to see how “nationality” is now as mutable as the SJW narrative.

And if their country is not a shithole, then why are they in the United States? Why do they complain so vociferously when Americans call for them to be sent back to these wonderful places?

Mailvox: the more things change

Actually, some things never change. A reader shares an apt quote from Livy.

Keep in mind this was more akin to the American importation of the Irish, which had similar consequences.

Promises, promises

Ted Kennedy illustrates why third-generation immigrants should not ever be permitted to govern or even vote in his deceitful argument for the 1965 immigration act.

First, our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually. Under the proposed bill, the present level of immigration remains substantially the same…

Secondly, the ethnic mix of this country will not be upset… Contrary to the charges in some quarters, [the bill] will not inundate America with immigrants from any one country or area, or the most populated and deprived nations of Africa and Asia…

In the final analysis, the ethnic pattern of immigration under the proposed measure is not expected to change as sharply as the critics seem to think… The bill will not flood our cities with immigrants. It will not upset the ethnic mix of our society. It will not relax the standards of admission. It will not cause American workers to lose their jobs.

They have to go back. They ALL have to go back. It is no longer up for debate. The post-1965 mass immigration policy was entirely based on lies and misrepresentations, and 50 years on it is clear that global migration has destroyed America, the largest invasion in human history has severely weakened the United States, and if a significant portion of the post-1965 immigrants and their descendants are not repatriated in the next decade, they will cause the complete collapse of the Union, violent ethnic conflict, and a civil war of unprecedented magnitude. At this point, the Yugoslav option may be the best possible outcome; the Czechoslovak option appears to be already beyond reach.

Listen to the warning of an American Indian. The dirt is not magic and it will not remain yours once you permit foreigners to settle on it. And rest assured that your descendants, if you have any that survive, will curse your incredible stupidity and short-sightedness, which is of epic historical magnitude.

So, go ahead and signal your virtue. Go ahead and cluck about how gloriously cucky and Churchian you are. Go ahead and dream of that glorious multicultural future before you. Just don’t expect us to lift a finger, shed a tear, or open the gates when those on whose behalf you are preening and posturing decide to take what you have away from you.

Ask the Norwegian-Americans

SJWs don’t merely always lie, they usually posture while they’re doing it.

Trump made headlines on Thursday when he lashed out in a meeting with lawmakers about immigration reform, demanding to know why the US should accept citizens from what he called ‘s**thole’ countries. He was speaking about people from Haiti, El Salvador and various African nations, people briefed on the meeting told the Washington Post.

‘Why are we having all these people from s**thole countries come here?’ Trump said. ‘Why do we need more Haitians?… Take them out.’

Trump then suggested the US should welcome immigrants from places like Norway, whose prime minister met with Trump on Wednesday.

But Twitter users, some of them from Norway, quickly lashed out asking Trump: Why would Norwegians want to come to America?

‘I’m confused – why the f*** would anyone migrate to the US from Norway? Why would you give up healthcare free at the point of access, living wages and reliable public services?,’ one tweet read.

‘I live in Norway and would never move to USA. We have free health care, free higher education, 5 weeks vacation 8 hours work a day. No thanks Trump,’ another user tweeted.

Meanwhile, back on actual Planet Earth: There are more than 4.5 million Norwegian Americans according to the most recent U.S. census, and most live in the Upper Midwest. Norwegian Americans currently comprise the 10th largest European ancestry group in the United States. 

And here is why:

The introduction of the Danish grain monopoly caused severe shortages of grain in Norway that led to famine and conflict. Crop failures led to a terrible period of famine in Norway which was followed by disease and dire poverty causing thousands of deaths. Norwegians began to look to America as an escape from the devastation, political strife and hunger.

So, devastation, political strife, and hunger is the answer. I wonder what is going to happen in Norway when the oil runs out and there isn’t enough money to pay for all the useless non-working invaders?

Damn good question

The God-Emperor points out an obvious flaw in the latest attempt at immigration reform:

President Trump on Wednesday balked at an immigration deal that would include protections for people from Haiti and African countries, demanding to know at a White House meeting why he should accept immigrants from “shithole countries” rather than people from places like Norway, according to people with direct knowledge of the conversation.

Mr. Trump’s remarks left members of Congress attending the meeting in the Cabinet Room alarmed and mystified. They were there discussing an emerging bipartisan deal to give legal status to immigrants illegally brought to the United States as children, the people said, speaking on condition of anonymity without authorization to discuss the explosive proceedings of the private meeting.

When Mr. Trump heard that Haitians were among those who would benefit, he asked if they could be left out of the plan, according to the people familiar with the conversation, asking, “Why do we want people from Haiti here?”

Of course they’re “mystified”. They can’t figure out why everyone doesn’t want to turn the USA into more of a shithole than it is already.

The USA is not magic dirt. Nations are people. If you want to live like Haiti, bring in Haitians. They won’t become Americans, they’ll just make America more like Haiti. Which, if you are honest with yourself, is exactly what all the Germans did too.

Do you really believe George Washington ever attended “kindergarten”? Or drank “Budweiser”?

Make California Mexico Again

Michael Walsh asserts that California lawmakers are moving towards seceding from the Union:

California Democrats—as radical a group of anti-Americans as you will find in this country, whether legal or “undocumented”—have again fired on Fort Sumter. And once again (don’t kid yourselves), the goal is de facto and, later, de jure, secession from the United States of America, as part of the Aztlan-inspired Reconquista of what Hispanic radicals consider lost territory.

Never mind that California has been a state since 1850, and fought on the Union side in the Civil War. Never mind that California was settled by hard-working New Englanders and Midwesterners, who transformed it from a wilderness into the most prosperous and, later, largest, state in the Union. Never mind that, since the early 20th century, California has been the pot of gold at the end of the American rainbow, where both winners and losers went to seek their fortunes. The Mexicans, who failed to settle the territory properly in the first place, now want it back.

California should be encouraged to secede, and the rest of the USA should deport all of those who sympathize with the California Democrats to live under a regime more to their ideological liking. The irony of Walsh’s remind that California “was settled by hard-working New Englanders and Midwesterners” is his refusal to acknowledge that it has been subsequently settled by Mexicans and dreamchasers seeking Silicon Valley fortune and Hollywood fame from around the USA.

Walsh also ignores that the territory was settled long before those “hard-working New Englanders and Midwesterners” arrived and ruined the place. The fact that he doesn’t regard those Indian and Mexican settlements as “proper” is irrelevant; if you’re going to assert the right of conquest to a territory, then you have to surrender that territory when it is subsequently invaded and conquered.

Immigration is invasion. It always has been. And if you’re dumb enough to believe otherwise, well, don’t cry when you lose your territory and your ability to rule yourself, because it is absolutely and inevitably going to happen. And, to be blunt, you deserve to lose it, because you refused to defend it. America is endangered and the USA is in its death throes because Americans were stupid enough to swallow their own bullshit when it was fed to them in a poisoned variant. The astonishing idiocy of Americans, who believed that invading foreigners would genuinely sacrifice the interests of themselves, their families, and their peoples in order to become imitation Americans will be marveled at by future historians. It may well prove to be the single stupidest, most self-destructive act by a powerful nation since Moctezuma allowed himself to be captured by Cortes as “a diplomatic gesture”.

Meanwhile, both Israel and Pakistan are proving their ability to do what is supposedly impossible for the Greatest Nation on Earth.

On Wednesday, the Pakistani government ordered 1.4 million Afghan refugees to leave the country in 30 days.

If the God-Emperor is going to save the Union and Make America Great Again, he is going to have to order the same for all post-1965 immigrants and their posterity. Anything short of that will prove insufficient and will most likely lead to war and the breakup of the USA within 15 years.

What “democracy in Europe”?

The Neo-Napoleonists continue to ignore cause and effect:

A surge of populist political parties threatens democracy in Europe, Tony Blair’s think tank warns today. A survey by the Institute for Global Change found the share of the vote taken by populist parties from both right and left has almost trebled since 2000. The surge has seen the parties support rising from 8.5 per cent to 24.1 per cent.

Over the same period, it said the number of European countries with populist parties participating in government has doubled from seven to 14 – creating an unprecedented ‘populist belt’ from the Baltic to the Aegean.

They are strongest in Eastern Europe and current hold power in seven countries – Bosnia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Serbia and Slovakia. Populists are the junior coalition partners in two other countries and the main opposition in three more.

The report said: ‘Parties like Poland’s Law and Justice party and Hungary’s Fidesz tend to emphasise a nationalism based on soil, blood or culture; take a hard line against immigration; and have, especially in Poland and Hungary, quickly started to dismantle key democratic institutions like the free media and an independent judiciary.

‘Working largely within the letter of the law, and drawing on widespread popular support, they have destroyed many of the institutions that are needed to safeguard democratic institutions over the long-run.’

In contrast to Eastern Europe, where most populist parties are on the right, those in Southern Europe are predominantly on the left, such as Syriza in Greece and Podemos in Spain. However, the report said left-wing parties from other parts of the continent – including Labour in Britain – had embraced elements of populism, underlining the impact populist politics was having on the mainstream.

The report’s co-author, Yascha Mounk, said: ‘2016 was the year that populism went prime time, but as our data makes clear: this rise started well before 2016.

‘The huge transformation we are seeing in European politics is long term, driven by issues such as economic insecurity; a rebellion against immigration and the notion of a multi-ethnic society; and the ease with which extreme voices can make themselves heard in an age of social media.

‘This populist wave has not crested and unless politicians managed to identify and counteract the structural drivers, populism will keep garnering strength in the years to come.’

There is nothing – literally nothing – democratic about the European Union. The entire structure is designed to limit and thwart the national will of the European peoples. Notice that the Neo-Napoleonists defend “democratic institutions” and don’t work within the letter of the law as they oppose the actual will of the genuine people who do work within the law.

As for the “structural drivers”, external immigration and internal free movement are the two primary ones. Both need to be not only stopped, but reversed.

No worries, they’ve got immigrants

Surely they will be more than up to the burden of shouldering the tax load:

According to the Daily Caller, three states, in particular, saw a massive departure of Americans to the tune of 450,000, taking their wallets with them as they fled. This is leading to the problem of having no one around to pay the bills in these tax-heavy states.

The Daily Caller reported that taking the lead is New York:

The exodus of residents was most pronounced in New York, which saw about 190,000 people leave the state between July 1, 2016 and July 1, 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data released last week.

New York’s domestic out-migration during that time period was about the same as it was in the same time 2015 and 2016. Since 2010, the state’s outflow of just over 1 million residents has exceeded that of every other state, both in absolute terms and as a share of population, according to the free-market think tank Empire Center.

Despite the number of people leaving New York, the population did grow due to high immigration from other parts of the world, and a higher birth rate.

California is yet another deep blue state that found itself watching Americans take their money with them as they left:

California was the third deep blue state to experience significant domestic out-migration between July 2016 and July 2017, and it couldn’t blame the outflow on retirees searching for a more agreeable climate. About 138,000 residents left the state during that time period, second only to New York.

But like New York, California’s population only grew due to a heavy flow of international migration to the state:

However, because California was the top receiving state for international migrants, its net migration was actually 27,000. Add to that number a “natural increase” of 214,000 people, and California’s population grew by about just over 240,000, according to the Census Bureau.

Both New York and California’s population growth may or may not help them. The tax status of the immigrants replacing the taxpayers that flee the states may range from completely legitimate, to non-tax paying status depending on the immigrants’ level of income or legality. According to CNN, most new immigrants into the country work lower paying jobs, and with those workers paying little to no taxes, the burden on the high-tax deep blue states could get even worse.

It’s amusing how people suddenly start talking very differently about the tax-paying abilities of immigrants when they realize that the state’s tax revenue is actually going to depend on them.

The problem is that these so-called “blue state” idiots are going to vote for exactly the same thing they’re fleeing now. No state should have ever allowed its new residents to vote on state and local matters for at least two generations, and preferably three.

No, Virginia, Jesus was not a refugee

We increasingly hear from the Churchians that Joseph, Mary, and the Baby Jesus were refugees, and therefore we should welcome the invasion and conquest of our nations by millions of “refugees”. Even the so-called Pope Francis implies as much

Pope Francis in Christmas Eve remarks likened the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem to the migrations of millions of people today who are forced to leave homelands for a better life, or just for survival, and he expressed hope that no one will feel ‘there is no room for them on this Earth’. 

But this is an out-and-out lie, as the Bible quite clearly demonstrates. How can Joseph possibly have been a “refugee” in his own town? To the contrary, he and his little family were returning home, as per the edict of the first Roman emperor. He quite literally had to go back.

Civil war in the USA

More and more people are beginning to find this not merely possible, but plausible:

The thought of Civil War has been in the minds of many people lately, on both sides of the political and cultural divide. This is not a thing to be wished for, though no one should kid themselves into believing it’s impossible either. Let us take a sober look at what such a conflict might entail.

To begin with, it would not look like the first American Civil War, which was essentially a war between two regions of the country with different economic interests. The divide created two separate countries, both initially contiguous, intact, and relatively homogeneous. The lines of demarcation now are only somewhat regional, and tend to correspond to differences between urban and rural populations, as well as differences of race and class. A second American Civil War would be much more similar to the Spanish Civil War, with the leftists dominating the cities and conservatives controlling the countryside. Conflicts of this nature, with enemies mixed geographically, are a formula for spontaneous mass bloodletting. India-Pakistan during the 1947 partition comes to mind as another modern example. Given an absence of legitimate government and the friction of proximity, ordinary people can be moved to settle grievances by killing one another without the need for governments to egg them on.

Some dimensions of a future civil war would be, I think, largely unprecedented. When lesser countries have imploded in violence in recent times, they have done so with most of the world around them still intact. There were other nations to offer aid, assistance and intervention, welcome or unwelcome. There were places for refugees to go. The collapse of the world’s remaining superpower would take much of the world down with it. A global economic crisis would be inevitable. The withdrawal of American forces from bases across the world to fight at home would also create a power vacuum that others, even under economic strain, would be tempted to exploit. Whichever side gained control of our nuclear arsenal, our status as a nuclear power would probably persuade other nations not to interfere in our conflict militarily, but the collapse of trade alone would produce crippling effects that would be hard to overestimate. Many components for products our manufacturing sector makes are globally sourced.

Add to this the breakdown of our transportation system, dependent on oil and transecting one new front line after another. The internet would fail. It is a frail enough now. Financial systems would fail. What happens if the banks find half their assets suddenly in hostile territory? All Federal government functions, including Social Security, would fail, many of them losing their very legitimacy to one side or the other. Food production, heavily dependent on diesel fuel, chemical fertilizers and pesticides, not to mention a steady supply of genetically engineered seeds, would slump alarmingly. In short, most things we depend on are now held together by a network of delicate and complex connections.

Without those connections, would you have a job? If so, in what medium of exchange could your employers manage to pay you? What would there be for you to buy? Does your town, your county, or even your state have the ability to marshal its resources into a viable economy? How many people in those entities could deal with anything worse than a weather disaster, in which they count on the fact that help is coming soon?

As I have said many times, great movements of peoples is nearly always accompanied by war, sooner or later. It would defy both logic and history to assume or insist that the USA will be an exception.
