Greenland Needs Americans

I really fail to understand the wailing and gnashing of teeth on the part of the Danes and the rest of the European Union. If there are millions of Americans who are just seeking a better life in Greenland, then who are the European Union to stand in their way?

Especially considering the way in which the free movement of peoples is enshrined into the EU constitution as a fundamental human right. Because mass immigration is just neo-colonialism.

If Americans want Greenland, they have a right to it. Greenland is just an idea. It belongs to the world. And it isn’t even green, anyhow.

The amusing thing about the morons of Clown World is that they never seem to anticipate the inevitability of their own rhetoric being used against them by others operating in their own self-interest.

Besides, once Americans get to Greenland, they’re as Greenlandian as every other Greenlander. Haven’t we been repeatedly assured of this from the “X has always been a nation of immigrants” crowd? America is just exporting its idea to Greenland, and who can possibly oppose that?

On a related note, I give Australia about twenty years before it’s as formally Chinese as Taiwan.

The EU is Monitoring

I know I feel a little safer today after hearing that.

The European Union, a geopolitically irrelevant if extremely expensive bureaucratic behemoth that has spent a great deal of energy since 2022 lecturing the world on the evils of military aggression and the inviolability of national borders (at least when those borders are Ukrainian) learned about these events from the internet, along with the rest of us. Finally, around noon, the mentally vacant EU foreign affairs girlboss Kaja Kallas logged onto X to assure the world that “the EU is closely monitoring the situation in Venezuela,” as if anybody gives the slightest shit what these people are doing.

Personally, I’d like to see President Trump do Starmer, Macron, and Weepy Fritz, or whatever that crying German CDC’s name is, next, before he seizes Greenland.

He can leave Brussels to Putin. There is nothing wrong there that a few team of Spetsnaz and an Oreshnik couldn’t cure in an hour.

The seizure of Maduro and the rise of the Donroe Doctrine would, if nothing else, appear to mark the end of the Rules-Based Order charade, and that’s a very good thing. If there must be empire, at least let it be open empire.

2025: The Year Europe Lost its Mind

Or perhaps it was the year it became obvious that the European elites were taking orders from someone who isn’t the Americans and who doesn’t give a damn about the various European peoples.

To be fair to the dismal year on the way out, at least 2025 won’t be a hard act to beat. In particular, if last January anyone was recklessly optimistic enough to hope for the West to come to its senses about its catastrophic relationship with Russia and the war in and over Ukraine, they will have been largely disappointed. (Let’s not waste time on those who were still dreaming about actually defeating Russia: the clinically delusional and deliberately disingenuous are an unrewarding topic.)

It is true that the disappointment delivered by 2025 in this area has not been total. There has been one major positive – if still incomplete and reversible – development: After many abrupt twists and turns, Washington seems to have settled on a policy of “strategic stability” (in the language of the new National Security Strategy) with Moscow. This marks a possible path to mutually beneficial normalization, perhaps even a future détente. (I will plead the Trump Unpredictability Caveat here, though: if the American president and disrupter-in-chief flipflops again, don’t blame this author.)

But, at the same time, the almost 30 countries best labeled NATO-EU Europe, with politically rigid and ideologically zealous Germans in the lead not only in Berlin but Brussels as well, have found the single most perverse issue to finally assert some independence from their US overlords: stalling an end to the Ukraine War. This obstructionism has been so obvious that even (some) Western observers have started noticing it.

Though little noticed, this is actually a historic reversal. Silly pundits used to say that Americans are from Mars and Europeans from Venus. But now when even the traditionally ultra-bellicose Americans have finally been backing out of an ever-worsening confrontation between, in effect, the West and Russia, NATO-EU Europe’s odd – and unpopular – elites have resisted the prospect of peace.

The insanity, the oddity, and the unpopularity of the European elites cannot be exaggerated. I don’t know anyone, of any political persuasion, who actually supports anything the EU is doing. No one wants war. No one will be willing to go to war. If they try to make anyone go to war, they’ll fight their own governments before they’ll fight the Russians.

It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if the Russians already have a plan in place to help those who would rather fight the people that want to fight Russia than fight them.

I expect more than one European government to collapse completely or be overthrown before 2026 is through. And if one goes, there will likely be a domino effect.

Why the EU is Panicking

Hal Turner explains why the EU was holding its failed summit yesterday, at which Ursula van der Leyen failed to convince the member states to declare war on Russia by stealing its frozen funds. The problem is that the EU is going to have to return those funds soon, and they’re already being used to prop up loans that will now have to be written off as complete losses, which is going to cause a lot of financial pain to someone:

The United States has notified the European Union that it wants frozen Russian sovereign assets incorporated into a negotiated settlement of the Ukraine war.

That position immediately exposes a major problem for Brussels.

Europe has already functionally collateralized Russian central bank assets — not through formal seizure, but by pledging windfall profits and future proceeds from those assets to support long-term financing and loan structures for Ukraine.

This has been publicly acknowledged in EU and G7 policy frameworks over the past year.

That financing model was built on a core assumption: Either the war would continue indefinitely, or Russia would be decisively defeated.

A negotiated peace breaks that assumption.

Once the United States asserts that frozen Russian assets must be treated as part of a settlement framework, rather than permanent war financing, several consequences follow. The EU’s legal justification weakens, the collateral underpinning those loans becomes unstable, and the long-standing claim that the asset freeze is “temporary” becomes difficult to sustain.

This is not merely a diplomatic disagreement. It is a forced accounting event — one with potential implications for Euroclear, EU financial institutions, and member-state balance sheets.

This context helps explain recent developments in Brussels. Over the past days and weeks, EU leadership has moved rapidly to bypass vetoes, expand emergency authorities, and escalate rhetoric — including renewed NATO statements about preparing for wider conflict.

The underlying strategy appears straightforward: Treat frozen Russian assets as a de facto war chest.

In practice, that step had already been taken through collateralization, even if formal seizure was avoided.

President Trump is now explicitly challenging that structure.

By calling this out, he undermines the financial logic that sustained the war.

All of the bluster and posturing will not disguise the fact that NATO has already lost its war with Russia. The Russians now know that there is no ceasefire or negotiated peace agreement that can be trusted, which is why I expect them to make demands that none of the Western parties want to accept, even though they should.

Frankly, I’m surprised that the Russians are even willing to talk to anyone, given the way they have been relentlessly lied to by everyone, including formerly neutral parties. If I were Putin, I would simply smile politely and grind on until I had exactly what I wanted, then impose a peace agreement with steel teeth.

UPDATE: EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, announced that Europe had decided they could provide another $90 Billion in assistance to Ukraine, that Europe “will raise from Capital Markets.” So the Europeans are going into hock for Ukraine, to the tune of about $90 Billion.

The EU Threatens DC

Why does anyone believe these unelected Satanic would-be world rulers are on anyone’s side, or even remotely in line with American national interests. And they desperately need to be feeling the back side of the President’s pimp hand.

The EU’s pro-war, globalist, anti-American leaders are doing everything in their power—including weighing what’s being called a “nuclear option” of deliberately shaking the foundations of the U.S. economy—to block a peace settlement in Ukraine, even as President Trump advances direct negotiations aimed at finally ending the nearly four-year-long inter-Slavic war.

According to reports, the globalist bloc in Europe is threatening to sell-off $2.34 trillion in US Treasury holdings if Trump withdraws support for Ukraine—an action that some analysts claim could  trigger a downturn more severe than the 2008 crash.

Rather than welcoming diplomacy, EU officials are allegedly weighing economic retaliation if Trump dares to end the war on his own terms. Sources say some governments have floated the idea of dumping portions of their massive holdings of U.S. debt as a form of pressure.

Such a move would be a dramatic escalation—essentially an attempt to destabilize the American economy to keep the Ukraine conflict alive. Analysts note this financial “nuclear option” could send shockwaves through global markets and severely devalue the dollar.

European technocrats appear willing to risk worldwide turmoil to preserve their geopolitical ambitions. Their threat reflects how far the EU has drifted from serving its citizens and how committed it remains to endless confrontation with Russia.

First of all, the economic crisis is going to take place regardless. Second, if I were President Trump, I would inform them that any such action would be perceived as an act of war and that they would no longer have to worry about a Russian invasion of Western Europe because the US troops already there would be seizing the central banks of the EU and every member state that supported the Commission’s action, as well as arresting all of the leaders responsible for it.

Better yet, paraphrase President Chappell:

EU, you have a problem with that? You know what you should do? You should sanction me. Sanction me with your army. Oh, wait a minute, you don’t have an army! I guess that means you need to shut the fuck up. That’s what I would do if I didn’t have no army. I would SHHH… the fuck up. Shut the fuck UP!

The EU in the Bunker

The European Union is going seriously off the rails as it heads towards its inevitable collapse.

The European Union is trying to eliminate sources of information that do not confirm with its official interpretation of real world events. One of the latest persons hit with official EU restrictions is the former Swiss intelligence official and author Jacques Baud.

I, too, found this hard to believe, but it’s real. Also being sanctioned by the EU is a retired Florida deputy sheriff.

Jacques BAUD
Function: former colonel in the Swiss army; former strategic analyst, intelligence and terrorism specialist
DOB: 1.4.1955
Nationality: Swiss
Gender: male
Jacques Baud, a former Swiss army colonel and strategic analyst, is a regular guest on pro-Russian television and radio programmes. He acts as a mouthpiece for pro-Russian propaganda and makes conspiracy theories, for example accusing Ukraine of orchestrating its own invasion in order to join NATO.

John Mark DOUGAN
Function: former Florida deputy sheriff
DOB: 15.12.1976
POB: Wilmington, Delaware, United States of America
Nationality: American, Russian
Gender: male

Reports from Western authorities and independent investigative sources link Dougan’s activities to Russia’s military intelligence agency (GRU) and the Moscow-based think tank the Center for Geopolitical Expertise, suggesting he receives Russian support and direction to influence elections, discredit political figures and manipulate public discourse in Western countries.

Everything about the EU is false marketing. There isn’t a single professed principle that the fake state actually stands by.

No Democracy, No Law

The European Union has abandoned any pretensions of legitimacy:

The European Union has voted to keep Russian central bank assets frozen indefinitely despite opposition from member states. The bloc pushed through the controversial agenda by invoking emergency powers legislation to bypass the need for unanimous approval.

The European Commission, and its head Ursula von der Leyen, want to use the $246 billion in Russian sovereign funds immobilized by the bloc after the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in 2022, to back a “reparations loan” for Kiev.

The loan scheme has been opposed by member states, including Hungary, Slovakia, which are against providing further aid to Kiev. Belgium, where most of the funds are held, has also raised concerns due to legal and financial risks. The European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund have warned that tapping Russian money would undermine the reputation of the euro and more broadly the Western financial system.

Russia has condemned the freeze as illegal and called any use of the funds as “theft,” warning of economic and legal retaliation.

The vote put forward by von der Leyen reframed the issue of frozen Russian assets as an economic emergency rather than a sanctions policy. This allowed the Commission to invoke Article 122 of the EU treaties, an emergency clause that permits decisions to be adopted by a qualified majority vote instead of unanimity, effectively bypassing veto threats from countries opposed to the move.

Invoking the clause is unprecedented and raises concerns about the sanctity of the fundamental principle of EU politics that major foreign policy, budget, and defense decisions are made by unanimous consent.

This isn’t even remotely surprising. It was always inevitable that, sooner or later, the EU was going to break its “fundamental principle” of unanimous consent and the national sovereignty of its member-states by granting itself permission to override the national vetoes. But it’s one thing to know it’s eventually coming, it’s another to actually see it happen and see for what that principle was sacrificed.

This marks the first major step toward the collapse of the EU since Britain voted to leave. I’d be surprised if four or more states, including Hungary and the Czech Republic, didn’t take this as a sign that it’s time to leave the union.

Belgium Resist EU-Assisted Suicide

The EUrocrats are trying to force Belgium to financially murder itself and go to war with Russia on its own:

In a stunning display of tyrannical overreach, the EU’s unelected overlords are now threatening Belgium’s newly minted Prime Minister Bart De Wever with financial Armageddon simply because he refuses to play along with their insane plot to steal $200 billion in frozen Russian assets.

Yes, you read that right: STEAL. Like common thieves in the night, targeting a sovereign central bank’s holdings parked safely in Belgium’s Euroclear system. This isn’t just policy wonkery; it’s a full-throated assault on national sovereignty, international law, and basic common sense.

And if De Wever doesn’t cave, the EU – egged on by globalist mouthpieces like POLITICO – is ready to ostracize, humiliate, and economically strangle a founding member state.

Sound familiar?

It’s the same playbook the EU used to bully Hungary and Poland into submission.

But this time, it’s backfiring spectacularly, and it could be the spark that finally torches the whole rotten Brussels circus. In a blistering statement that’s gone viral across Europe, De Wever laid it out plain and simple: The countries screaming loudest for this asset grab – think the Baltic states and Poland, scarred by Soviet ghosts – are “psychologically at war” with Russia. Fair enough, they’ve got history.

But Belgium? “We are not at war with Russia,” De Wever thundered. “And we do not wish to be at war with Russia. We must negotiate based on reality, not fantasy.” Boom. Reality check delivered. Stealing from a foreign central bank, he warns, is no different than “robbing an embassy.”

t’s a violation of treaties, a slap in the face to diplomatic norms, and a one-way ticket to the courtroom for every EU hack who touches it. Remember that dusty 1989 bilateral investment treaty between Belgium and the Soviet Union? The Kremlin lawyers are sharpening their pencils already.

If this heist goes down, Belgium could be on the hook for hundreds of billions in reparations – capital plus damages – equaling a staggering 50% of its GDP. That’s not a debt; that’s national suicide.

Even POLITICO, the house organ of the Davos crowd, admits the emperor has no clothes. In a rare moment of clarity (better late than never!), they concede the only realistic fix is for the hawkish EU nations – the ones foaming at the mouth for more Ukraine cash – to pony up their own taxpayer dollars. No more freeloading off little Belgium, the unwitting host of these frozen funds. But oh, the irony burns! POLITICO whines that this would shatter the sacred “principle of solidarity” by forcing some countries to “bear the financial burden alone.”

Hello? That’s exactly what the EU has been strong-arming Belgium to do for months – dive solo into a $200 billion black hole while Berlin and Paris sip champagne!

Belgium should send its police forces in and arrest the entire EU commission. The EU has no power, no military, no nothing at all. Even its “laws” and “principles” are just rhetorical fictions that it heeds or ignores depending on the subject and the situation. Tear down that ersatz Tower of Babel and send all the MEPs back to their home nations.

It’s not just time for the member states of the European Union to leave it. It’s time for them to destroy that fake government and go full Scipio-in-Carthage on it. If this doesn’t prove to you that the unelected nonentities pretending to be the rulers of a nonexistent polity do not and cannot represent the interests of the various European nations at all, then you’re not paying attention.

The Time is Now

A comical “warning” of war from the current NATO head:

NATO chief Mark Rutte has warned that war with Russia ‘is at our door’ as he urged European allies to prepare for action now or risk facing a conflict on the scale ‘our grandparents and great-grandparents endured’.

Speaking in Berlin on Thursday, Rutte said too many NATO members remained ‘quietly complacent’ about the threat posed by Moscow and insisted Europe must urgently ramp up defence spending and weapons production to deter Vladimir Putin.

‘We are Russia’s next target,’ he said. I fear that too many are quietly complacent. Too many don’t feel the urgency. And too many believe that time is on our side. It is not. The time for action is now.’

The only reason “the time for action is now” is because in five years, the USA isn’t going to be a member of NATO. NATO may or may not still exist as a rudimentary parody of a transnational military force, but regardless, time is not on the side of either NATO or the EU because in five years, both China and Russia are going to be stronger in both economic and military terms, the USA will be trying to survive its self-inflicted demographic shocks and maintaining its preeminence in the Western hemisphere, and the European militaries won’t even be able to control their own populations.

So NATO can lose now or lose later. It makes zero difference. The smartest thing these Clown World puppets could do is surrender preemptively to Russia and stop constantly poking both the Bear and the Dragon. Doing so is in the interest of them and the European nations alike. But they won’t be permitted to do so, which is why we’re going to have to endure this charade for another few years.

Against Civilizational Erasure

Last night, I went over the entire National Security Strategy document (PDF) on the Darkstream. It’s much, much better than we had any right to expect, given the incoherent rantings being periodically emitted by the Short Fat Trump, so much so that it tends to raise real questions about who is actually in charge of the things that matter. Both the previously-quoted section on the end of the migration era and the need for military reindustrialization read as if the author is familiar with this site, and the section on Europe is clearly focused on bringing about the end of the globalist elite’s occupation of the European nations and eliminating the EU’s current path toward “civilizational erasure”.

Continental Europe has been losing share of global GDP—down from 25 percent in 1990 to 14 percent today—partly owing to national and transnational regulations that undermine creativity and industriousness.

But this economic decline is eclipsed by the real and more stark prospect of civilizational erasure. The larger issues facing Europe include activities of the European Union and other transnational bodies that undermine political liberty and sovereignty, migration policies that are transforming the continent and creating strife, censorship of free speech and suppression of political opposition, cratering birthrates, and loss of national identities and self-confidence.

Should present trends continue, the continent will be unrecognizable in 20 years or less. As such, it is far from obvious whether certain European countries will have economies and militaries strong enough to remain reliable allies. Many of these nations are currently doubling down on their present path. We want Europe to remain European, to regain its civilizational self-confidence, and to abandon its failed focus on regulatory suffocation…

American diplomacy should continue to stand up for genuine democracy, freedom of expression, and unapologetic celebrations of European nations’ individual character and history. America encourages its political allies in Europe to promote this revival of spirit, and the growing influence of patriotic European parties indeed gives cause for great optimism.

Our goal should be to help Europe correct its current trajectory.

This section has panicked the EU elite, and it absolutely should, because it makes it clear that both of the great nationalist powers, Russia and China, are now actively preferred to the globalist “anti-democratic elite” that is currently pushing for a military war with the former and an economic war with the latter, neither of which the EU could win even with the US assistance that is clearly going to be denied going forward.
