Mailvox: Gammas Never Get It

I can always tell when an email about the SSH is from a “recovering gamma”. Strangely enough, I never seem to hear from any gamma who simply accepts the reality of his behavioral patterns and identifies as a gamma. Anyhow, see if you can spot the fundamental problems in what he describes as his attempt to summarize the concepts “briefly for myself and others.”

I am a recovering gamma currently being purified by becoming a delta. I’m trying to summarize the SSH in one-sentence per role to aid my own understanding.

A gamma is not an alpha because he lacks the necessary abilities to top any hierarchy.

A gamma is not a beta because he doesn’t admire anyone more highly than himself.

A gamma is not a delta because he lacks the humility to realize he is a beginner (a person who lacks abilities), and that a beginner must begin at the beginning of any hierarchy.

A gamma is not an omega because he has enough social abilities to not be rejected as a total outsider.

A gamma is not a sigma because he lacks the necessary abilities to exist independent of any hierarchy, whereas a sigma has enough abilities to not need most hierarchies (except when they are useful to him, in which case he is able to benefit from them by integrating himself into them as needed)

A gamma is therefore defined by the very fact that he is not any other role in the functional hierarchy (delta/beta/alpha or sigma), and refuses to recognize that he must reshape himself into one of those roles and submit to their requirements.

It appears he still has some ways to go, as this would-be-summary is mostly the conventional gamma kerfluffery that seeks to elude the ineluctable: a gamma male is any man or boy whose behavior fits within the parameters of the behavioral pattern described as gamma. And it’s a bit ironic, in that this very attempt to summarize – which is little more than an attempt to redefine and impose the gamma’s self-perceptions on that which has already been defined externally – is very much in keeping with typical gamma behavior.

A gamma is never, ever, going to possess alpha behavioral patterns. Never going to happen. He can, of course, be a situational alpha in a hierarchy of gammas, or in one comprised of mixed gammas and omegas, but his behavioral pattern and his habitual thought processes will remain the same. The “summary” is clearly false, however, because it fails to recognize the fractal nature of the SSH.

As for bravos, forget admiration. Every natural gamma instinct inclines him to contradict the bravo impulse; indeed, the bravo’s primary role is probably cracking down and riding herd on gammas so his alpha doesn’t have to do so.

The omega summary is adequate.

The delta summary omits the key components of competence and the desire for respect. The biggest single observable difference between the delta and the gamma is that if you assign a task to a delta, he’ll get it done with a minimum of fuss. If you assign a task to a gamma, he’ll start telling you why he can’t do it, how it should be done, why it would be better for him to do something else, how he plans to go about doing it, and why you should really just do it yourself; the one thing you can be certain he won’t do is stop talking about it in lieu of actually getting it done.

The sigma summary omits the important element that sigmas are often perceived as, and mistaken for, alphas by others. This is why the gamma pretension to sigmahood is so risible, because even on their best days, no one ever confuses the guys from Revenge of the Nerds for Conan, James Bond, or Hannibal Lector.

But the key point is to recognize that the gamma is not defined by what he is not, but rather, by how others observe him to behave. If you win every argument, if you’re pretty sure that you’re the most clever person in the room, if you think you’ve got a roguish charm, and you believe it is the intensity of a man’s affections that is the prime determinant of whether he deserve their object or not, then you’re probably a gamma.

Deflation on the Horizon

Sri Lanka just defaulted on its debts for the first time since independence in 1948:

The Government yesterday signaled Sri Lanka was bankrupt, announcing a temporary suspension of repayment of all external debt as of yesterday, saying the country can no longer honour its commitment owing to poorer financial position caused by external and internal shocks.

The move puts an end to Sri Lanka’s outstanding track record of servicing its external debt obligations since the independence but a “negotiated or soft default” is viewed as more respectable as opposed to a disastrous “hard default”.

Treasury Secretary Mahinda Siriwardena told journalists yesterday that the “orderly and consensual” restructuring of external debt obligations will be buttressed by an economic assistance program supported by the International Monetary Fund.

He recalled that Sri Lanka has had an unblemished record of external debt servicing since independence in 1948.

“However recent events including the COVID-19 pandemic and fallout from the hostilities in Ukraine, eroded Sri Lanka’s fiscal position,” he said.

It’s not a secret that the Neoliberal World Order is collapsing. And this is how it happens, with defaults on the periphery gradually having an impact on the banks that make up the heart of the foundation. That’s up to $51 billion that just disappeared from the money stock, which is the equivalent of $165 for each US citizen.

As more and more of the most intelligent part of the commentariat are beginning to understand, money is no longer printed. It is created through loans, and when debtors cannot service their debt – Sri Lanka could not repay the $6 billion it presently owed – or when debtors elect to borrow money in other currencies as will increasingly happen in the wake of the recent US sanctions – the money supply contracts.

This process has already begun, despite the higher food and gas prices that are the result of war-related supply shortages.

That’s An Easy One

For anyone asking me “Maybe you should give up Crimea and Donbas in exchange for peace?” Before asking this question, name me the specific region in your country you would be willing to give up if Putin started bombing your cities.

Certainly. In order of preference:

  1. New York City
  2. Hollywood and Los Angeles
  3. Washington D.C.
  4. San Francisco
  5. New Jersey
  6. Miami

And if Mr. Putin would be so good as to bomb them before the USA handed them over, so much the better.

Paradigm Shift

As the rest of the world gradually begins to recognize that Russia is fighting the wicked forces that seek to enslave them as well, even more support will flow to the nationalist Sino-Russian alliance.

Countries in Africa, Latin America and South Asia see all these developments, hoping Russia and China avert the Thucydides Trap of total war. The countries outside the west, can then shake off the shackles of a unipolar hegemony and run towards a multi-polar world. An international order geared towards political stability and self-determination of destiny. The state ideology of political correctness venerated by western leaders is abhorrent to many in the Russian civilization and their allies. In reality, political correctness is the cultural-Marxism of the Frankfurt school. Christians are horrified by the destruction of western culture and the Christian religion. This ideology of political correctness reminds Orthodox Christians of bolshevism. Many Russians and allies of Russia know the threat to the Russian civilization is real. They see parallels between the Russophobia presented on western corporate media and ‘Carthāgō dēlenda est’. The oratorical phrase, ‘Carthage must be destroyed’, was used by the Roman politician, Cato the Censor, when he concluded his speeches. This phrase was used as a form of ‘manufacturing consent’ before the Third Punic War of 149-146 BC between Rome and Carthage. Now replace Russia for Carthage.

The reality of the multi-polar world order is no longer a theory and is now being admitted in the open. Recently, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said, “A new reality is taking shape; the unipolar world is irretrievably receding into the past and a multipolar world is being born. This is an objective process that cannot be stopped. There won’t be one single ruler in this new reality…. Nobody on earth will be considered a second-rate player. All nations are equal and sovereign.”.

We should not conflate the system of multi-polarity with the “new world order”, mentioned many times by western leaders. The World Economic Forum, Council on Foreign Relations and Trilateral Commission’s prospect for the world is centralised governance. The proposed ‘new world order’ “utopia” is fundamentally, technology-based technocratic serfdom. This is the governance model recommended by the west at their annual Davos Forum and World Government Summit. This governance model, is often portrayed to the public as ‘The Global Public-Private Partnership’. Such a system requires countries to transfer sovereignty and independence to unelected technocrats. The ‘new world order’ is a system where one central authority controls policy making for all countries. It’s serfdom, while citizens give up civil liberties in exchange for a balanced distribution of resources.

Today we are witnessing a great paradigm shift in the world order of civilizations. The east has unambiguously affirmed that multipolarity is compatible with their civilization. They see the west’s unipolar rules-based system and the proposed ‘new world order’ as an existential threat. Whatever the cost, including war will be on the table for the East to use in an attempt to preserve their sovereignty.

Unfortunately, the Thucydides Trap reliably results in war when the transference of power is endo-societal. The transfer of power from the UK to the USA was relatively peaceful because the USA was founded by Americans, who are a British offshoot. The transfer of power from the usurpation of the USA to the multipolarity of the East is exo-societal, and therefore it is very unlikely to be peaceful.

Russo-NATO War, Phase 2

It appears that once Mariupol falls, the second phase of the Russo-NATO war will begin.

Too many people have now been propagandized by the west to believe Russia somehow “failed” and is incapable of taking the western part of the country, but that is not even close to reality. Russia is not capable of taking it all at the same time from 5 different fronts. There’s a huge difference and distinction there. But once Donbass and everything east of the Dnieper is cleared, Russia can and likely will take the rest with concentrated forces. There will likely then be only 2 fronts, one coming up from the south that will cut off Odessa and take Nikolayev and one that returns from the north into Kiev. But we’ll save that for another time as either way that’s far off in the future.

In logistical news, Poland has reportedly begun its shipment of 100 T-72 tanks and BMP-1s to Ukraine. While Australia ships Bushmasters.

In other interesting news which shows that Turkey’s “closing of the Bosphorous” straits was not what it seemed, and was in fact a more than subtle blow against NATO, Turkish defense minister has confirmed that Turkey is strictly prohibiting any NATO ships from passing the straits as well.

“Turkey will not let NATO warships into the Black Sea,” said Minister of Defense of this country Hulusi Akar. At the same time, he referred to the Montreux Convention and said that the passage would be closed to warships of countries that do not have access to the Black Sea.. Akar also admitted that the presence of mines in the sea could be deliberate: they could have been fired as part of a plan to pressure Ankara to let NATO minesweepers into the Black Sea, which is contrary to the Montreux Convention. “We have a suspicion that the mines were deliberately introduced. Perhaps they were fired as part of some plan to put pressure on us in order to let NATO minesweepers [through the straits] into the Black Sea. But we are committed to the rules of the Montreux [Convention] and do not let warships enter the Black Sea,” the minister said.

So much for NATO solidarity.

Also, the first formal appeal for the following: “In the State Duma of Russia, Crimean deputy Mikhail Sheremet today proposed to unite the Republic of Crimea with the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions into the Tauride province within the Russian Federation. “Residents of the regions do not seem to mind – they raise Russian flags everywhere and complain about the attitude of the Ukrainian authorities.”

American Secretary of Defense Lloyd addresses Ukrainian troops.

This comes on the heels of new revelations of how deeply embedded U.S. and NATO command structures (and troops) are in Ukraine. A French journalist here describes what he saw in his time in Ukraine. In short, he says he was shocked to see American generals running the entire show on the ground, and he says the names of them will be revealed in his new exposé in the French Figaro newspaper this week.

This is further proof that this conflict is truly NATO vs. Russia, and NATO is losing badly.

Another report states: “the United States is moving its advanced headquarters units to the western borders of Ukraine. In particular, the 5th Corps is being relocated. This suggests that it is not the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that controls military operations, but NATO officers. And we are at war not with some puppet regime in Kiev, but with the collective West.”

I couldn’t help but notice that the Tory Party’s defense of Boris Johnson for Partygate, and explanation for why he should not be forced to resign despite a) being found guilty of breaking the law, b) lying to Parliament, and c) facing calls to resign from the First Ministers of Scotland and Wales, among many others,, is that Britain is at war. This is a fascinating statement, in light of the fact that the UK has not actually declared war on anyone since Johnson took office.

Mr Johnson faced more calls to resign over his fine from the leaders of the devolved administrations – but Tory backbenchers hit back at criticism, asking: ‘Don’t they know there’s a war on?’

But it’s true. NATO is very actively involved in waging war against Russia, and both the USA and the UK are the most observably belligerent, with personnel, intel, and equipment all being actively engaged against Russian forces. And it’s also obvious that all of the media’s claims that Russia was running out of men and ammunition were completely false, as instead of being forced to conclude operations within two weeks, the media is now reporting that “Russian President Vladimir Putin has massed troops on Ukraine’s eastern flank for fresh offensive on the area.”

And it looks like the third phase of the war may well include Finland and Sweden in addition to Poland, as both formerly neutral countries appear to be on the verge of joining NATO. And if the multiple reports I’ve heard on the topic are correct, Russia will be making use of its first-rate troops equipped with the latest hardware and supported by its best air, armor, and artillery in the third phase.

New York Subway Attack

The media doesn’t know who did it yet, but we can be safe in assuming that racist, homophobic, unvaccinated white supremacist Russian Christians will be blamed.

Five people were shot Tuesday morning at a subway station in Brooklyn, New York, law enforcement sources said.

Fire personnel responding to reports of smoke at the 36th Street station in the Sunset Park neighborhood found multiple people shot and undetonated devices, a New York City Fire Department spokesperson said.

According to multiple law enforcement sources briefed on the investigation, preliminary information indicated a suspect was wearing a construction vest and a gas mask.

A photo from the scene showed people tending to bloodied passengers lying on the floor of the station.

In response, the Biden adminstration is expect to announce even more Russian sanctions and yet another push for gun control.
