A WikiLeaks summary

Break usefully summarizes the massive WikiLeaks email dump in a manner the average reader can follow:

As of tonight, WikiLeaks has now released roughly 32,000 out of the 50,000 emails that it claims to have obtained from John Podesta’s hacked email account. If that weren’t enough, James O’Keefe and his whistle-blowing organization, Project Veritas, is in the process of releasing a video series that is packed with damning evidence against the Hillary Clinton campaign machine.

Both the Podesta emails and the O’Keefe videos paint a clear picture of a rigged election; predictably, both have been met with virtual radio silence on behalf of the mainstream media. With so many facts flying around and so much diversion from the Clinton camp and beyond, it can be difficult to figure out what is truly going on. This article aims to help sort everything out.

WIKILEAKS – What is it?

WikiLeaks is a non-profit organization founded by Julian Assange in 2006. Its stated purpose is to hold world governments accountable by bringing the truth to light, usually by obtaining sensitive “leaked” documents and publishing them on the internet. Since its inception, WikiLeaks and Assange have been involved in a dizzying number of diplomatic controversies due to the organization’s penchant for embarrassing powerful leaders around the globe.

Since 2012, Assange has been operating out of the Ecuador embassy in London, who granted him asylum after he had been charged by Swedish authorities for rape. Assange has soundly denied the charges, insisting that they are part of the American government’s ploy to extradite him and stem the flow of its secret internal documents.

What do the Podesta leaks contain?

It is important to emphasize that the leaks represent an enormous cross-section of Podesta’s emails. That means that many of the emails are simply mundane work emails of no importance to the American public.

The rest of the emails, however, unearth a complex and cozy web of connections: one between the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee back in the primary; various ties between the Clinton Foundation and several foreign powers with dubious motives; and an insidious marriage of the Clinton machine and the mainstream media.

If you’re not entirely certain what the emails contain, or why they are significant, this is a useful guide to what has been released to date.

Speaking of promoting Mike Cernovich, the Indy King, Vaughn Heppner, who with BV Larson and soon-to-be Castalia author David VanDyke is one of the three big dogs of military science fiction, recommends Mike Cernovich’s GORILLA MINDSET as one of his three picks for Amazon’s Powered by INDIE:

GORILLA MINDSET is an awesome read for those who want to learn how to control their thoughts and thereby their actions. Mike Cernovich is a straight shooter who tells it like it is. In today’s world, that is a welcome relief.”

If you liked GORILLA MINDSET, I can guarantee that you’re going to like MAGA MINDSET: Making YOU and America Great Again. Now in paperback from Castalia House.

Also, I recommend Vaughn Heppner’s books, particularly if you happen to be inclined towards men with large quantities of futuristic weaponry at their disposal completely failing to abide by Gene Roddenberry’s ideal of non-violent interaction and achieving one’s objectives through diplomacy, communication, and mutual understanding.

A vote for Hillary

Is a vote for World War III. Literally.

On Syria’s civil war, Trump said Clinton could drag the United States into a world war with a more aggressive posture toward resolving the conflict.

Clinton has called for the establishment of a no-fly zone and “safe zones” on the ground to protect non-combatants. Some analysts fear that protecting those zones could bring the United States into direct conflict with Russian fighter jets.

“What we should do is focus on ISIS. We should not be focusing on Syria,” said Trump as he dined on fried eggs and sausage at his Trump National Doral golf resort. “You’re going to end up in World War Three over Syria if we listen to Hillary Clinton.

“You’re not fighting Syria any more, you’re fighting Syria, Russia and Iran, all right? Russia is a nuclear country, but a country where the nukes work as opposed to other countries that talk,” he said.

It’s good to see Donald Trump pointing out that Hillary will, indubitably, order the US armed forces into war with Russia. However, the real issue isn’t the proxy war in Syria, but rather, the provocative encroachments in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.

The reason Hillary will start WWIII is because she will try to expand NATO to cover Ukraine, which Russia simply will not permit.

Mailvox: why doesn’t Mike Cernovich promote me?

Mike C asks a leading question:

  • How come Mike Cernovich always promotes himself?
  • You promote him.
  • But he never promotes you?
  • His ideal list of speakers include Milo, and others.
  • He says that he and Milo are the only ones on the right doing social properly.
  • He doesn’t let you share his platform, but you are always promoting him, and sharing your platform.

-Will surely be labeled a concern troll

Concern troll? I don’t suspect you of being a concern troll. I suspect you of being Mike Cernovich. But let’s assume, for the sake of argument, that the questioner is neither a self-promoting Mike Cernovich nor a concern troll. In answer to the questions:

  1. Mike Cernovich always promotes himself because he started from zero, with nothing but mindset, vision, and audacity. He has gone from nothing to one of the most influential political figures on social media through relentlessly effective self-promotion. And since Mike has not yet met his objective – which he reveals in his new bestseller, MAGA Mindset – he has to continue self-promoting. You don’t supplant the hoax media by putting on a bow tie, crossing your legs, and doing your most genteel imitation of George Will. You do it by making damn sure that no one is able to ignore you or pretend you don’t exist.
  2. It’s absolutely false to say Mike doesn’t promote me. I had to talk him out of putting my name on the cover of MAGA Mindset. Mike regularly mentions me, praises my editing of his book, wrote the introduction to Cuckservative, and links to this blog from both Twitter and Danger & Play. Of course, he can’t link to it from Twitter now without risking having his account locked, so he’s wise to avoid doing so.
  3. Milo is a better speaker than I am. So are a lot of people. I’m not offended that I’m not on his short list of ideal speakers, especially because I never give public speeches anywhere.
  4. He and Milo are doing social media properly. They have an order of magnitude more social media followers than I do. As Mike himself has told me, I don’t tweet enough. I’m sure he’s right, but a one-way, 140-character-limited medium is simply not my preferred one. I prefer the environment of a blog with comments, probably to my short-term detriment.
  5. Why would I want to share his platform? I haven’t even used my own Twitter account in weeks. Also, as the Lead Editor of Castalia House, I am his publisher. I have a responsibility to promote our authors, Mike included. As an author, he has no responsibility whatsoever to return the favor by promoting Castalia House… even though he has done us the very great favor of choosing to publish with us when he could have simply self-published again instead.

To put it plainly, Mike has done more for me than I have done for him. He is an utterly reliable ally, a trustworthy friend, and he has an important message that many people need to hear. I know they do, because I needed to hear it myself. I can tell you right now that without Mike Cernovich, Infogalactic would not exist.

So, I am entirely content to continue to promote him, and his excellent works, whether he happens to see fit to mention me again in the future or not. After all, what has Haruki Murakami ever done for me?

Trump takes lead in Florida

Mirabile dictu, the poll gap is closing! Who could have ever seen that coming?

Donald Trump has a slim advantage in Florida as critical independent voters narrowly break his way in the must-win battleground state, a Bloomberg Politics poll shows. The Republican presidential nominee has 45 percent to Democrat Hillary Clinton’s 43 percent among likely voters when third-party candidates are included, the poll found. In a hypothetical two-way race, Trump has 46 percent to Clinton’s 45 percent. Florida, one of two states Trump calls home, is rated by major election forecasters as a toss-up or leaning toward Clinton.

And now Pennsylvania is, miraculously, unexpectedly, in play:

The candidates in the General Election for President of the United States are the Republican Donald Trump, the Democrat Hillary Clinton and the Libertarian Gary Johnson or someone else. If the election were held today, for whom would you vote?

Donald Trump:42%
Hillary Clinton:45%
Gary Johnson:5%
Someone else:1%
Undecided:7%

Isn’t it remarkable how the independents are, only now, beginning to make up their minds? Why, whatever happened to the media narrative that the election was already over and Hillary was going to win by 14 percentage points?

Do you think, perhaps, just maybe, that it wasn’t true?

Let them laugh

Remember when SJWs were laughing about how “Opera Vita Aeterna” finished behind No Award in the 2014 Hugo Awards? Then remember the shock and horror they expressed when the nominations for the 2015 awards were announced?

Let them laugh about Infogalactic now. Let them scoff and sneer, as is their usual wont. Not only is everything going according to plan, but the plan has been accelerated, we have more dev volunteers than were expected, after 16 days we are just three short of the 100 subscribers we hoped would sign up in the first three months, and we’re already seeing third-party developers wanting to integrate with us. By this time next week, we should have add-on extensions for Firefox, Chrome, and Opera that will allow you to make Infogalactic your default search engine to go with the current redirect extensions.

It was not surprising to see our old pal Pedophil didn’t pass up the chance to strike the customary SJW pose.

Seriously, even for Vox Day, the Dumpster Fire that Walks Like a Man, Infogalactic is an amateur hour shitwreck.

If you had any doubt that Phil is totally clueless with regards to technology before, now you have confirmation. No one who knows anything about Wikipedia or MediaWiki would say we don’t know what we’re doing. One might not concur entirely with our priorities, or understand our objectives, but the combination of what we’ve accomplished to date, combined with the Roadmap, is sufficient to indicate that we are neither entirely incompetent nor amateur developers.

As it happens, we know the highest levels at Wikipedia are paying close attention to what we’re doing because they’ve already been in contact with us. I would describe their attitude as half-confused, half-concerned. They know they can’t do what we’re already in the process of doing, nor do they have a good grasp of why we’re doing it in the first place. So, don’t be surprised if, in the long run, they end up using our technology.

Phil Sandifer ‏@PhilSandifer Oct 24
But if you want a detailed plot summary for an unreleased video game, well, someone definitely added that today.

And he thinks that is a bad thing? That is exactly the sort of thing I’d hoped to see Galaxians putting on Infogalactic. We’re not the Notable Knowledge From Sources Our Thought Police Deem Reliable Core, we’re the Planetary Knowledge Core.

Let them laugh. It will make their dawning horror all the more satisfying when Phase Three arrives.

UPDATE: Should have mentioned this: Safari users now have an extension that will redirect Wikipedia links to Infogalactic. Download it here. I am also informed that extensions adding Infogalactic as a default search engine option will be available next week.

UPDATE: One of the VFM explains why it is time to stick a fork in Wikipedia and why he is supporting Infogalactic:

Our Dark Lord of the Evil Legion of Evil is leading the way showing those of us who are awake, that we don’t have to take the continued SJW convergence of our institutions, social media and other mediums of thoughts and expressions lying down…that we CAN actually do something to fight back.

SJW’s converged Science Fiction? Our Dark Lord went and co-founded his own damn publishing house and is now producing literary works with themes and narratives that have been largely suppressed by the traditional publishing houses seeking to control the narrative.

Alt-Right folks getting shadow-banned or outright banned on Twitter? He’s one of the leading users and supporter for Gab, a new social media platform alternative, which unlike Twitter, is dedicated to upholding real free speech for it’s participants.

While leading thousands on an exodus from an SJW converged mainstream social media platform and founding a successful publishing house of best-selling, politically incorrect literature are both major accomplishments by our Dark Lord in the 21st Century culture wars in our Brave New World Order, it his latest act of counter-insurgency that I hope grows into his most successful venture to date.

It is the badly needed and long overdue answer to the SJWs attempted control of the narrative by manufacturing consensus with heavy handed and persistent  censorship and suppression of politically incorrect topics on Wikipedia.

Scott Adams endorses Trump

He even predicts a Trumpslide:

I endorse Donald Trump for President of the United States because I oppose bullying in all its forms.

I don’t defend Trump’s personal life. Neither Trump nor Clinton are role models for our children. Let’s call that a tie, at worst.

The bullies are welcome to drown in their own bile while those of us who want a better world do what we’ve been doing for hundreds of years: Work to make it better while others complain about how we’re doing it.

Today I put Trump’s odds of winning in a landslide back to 98%. Remember, I told you a few weeks ago that Trump couldn’t win unless “something changed.”

Something just changed.

Nice to see Scott coming back around again. While I wouldn’t go so far as to say that I see concrete signs of a Trumpslide, much less a 98 percent certainty of it, I still think he is going to win, and win more comfortably than anyone would suspect.

I don’t see any desperation from Trump or the people around him. I see increasing desperation from the people around Hillary… and see virtually nothing of Hillary herself.

Yes, we all know what the polls say. We’ll see. In any event, do what you believe to be right regardless of what everyone else is doing, or as more often the case, saying they are doing.

Adams is angry about simultaneous, similar-sounding hit pieces being published about him on Huffington Post, Salon, and Daily Kos. Note that on the same day, what was clearly SUPPOSED to be a hit piece on Mike Cernovich was also published in The New Yorker.

October Surprise?

I have no idea if this is a hoax or not, but there are reports that the former CEO of the Clinton Foundation has requested political asylum at the Russian Consulate in New York City:

Eric Braverman, yesterday (23 October), arrived at the Consulate of Russia in New York City and presented his “urgent and immediate” request for asylum on a visa application—as is “protocol/custom” because the Federation does not accept mail or electronic visa applications from residents of the continental United States.

Crazy… and if true, damning.

No freedom without nations

Viktor Orban of Hungary decries the globalist attempt to reduce nations to mere population demographics:

At a commemoration of a 1956 anti-Communist uprising, Hungary’s right-wing leader Viktor Orban said his country must stand up to Europe’s “Sovietization” and defend its borders against mass migration.

Orban, a critic of the European Union and an early opponent of the recent migration wave into the continent, said freedom in Europe depended on the nation state and Christian traditions.

“People who love their freedom must save Brussels from Sovietization, from people who want to tell us who we should live with in our countries,” the prime minister said to cheers from a crowd of several thousand.

“We want to be a European nation not a nationality within Europe,” he said.

One thing Stefan Molyneux mentioned last night that stuck with me today was a common libertarian incoherency. On the one hand, they believe that states’ rights are superior to centralized government. On the other, they believe that globalization is better than national governments.

This does not computer. Globalism, the imperial ideology of which the EU is merely one organ, will infringe upon individual rights far more than the average national government, and moreover, will render it impossible for every individual to vote with his feet. Globalization is worse than Sovietization, as at least the Soviet ambitions were, by and large, regional in nature.

In fact, one can quite reasonably make the case that Globalism is considerably more dangerous to the human race than either Communism or Nazism ever were.
