Is the Alt-Right dead?

Contrary to what you’ll read about them, the answer is quite obviously no. PJW and Mike understand the new media game much, much better than most of their critics, all of whom are still operating on the same outdated concept that let the media play Richard Spencer last week. That doesn’t mean they are always correct; I trust their judgment on the media and I prefer to rely upon my own with regards to the more abstract and historical elements.

Events and movements require the right moment more than the right person. What will have a massive impact today might have gone unnoticed five years ago. Social mood, as per socionomics, is key. The historical cycles, from Kondratieff to the debt cycle, also play significant roles. The next 10 years are the Alt-Right’s moment, because only its ideology is in harmony with both the zeitgeist and the material, measurable societal metrics that the cliodynamicists are tracking.

Both the USA and Europe are rapidly approaching critical stress points with unhappy populaces and rival elites whose interests cannot be rectified. An 1860-level event could take place in as few as four years from now in one or more nations in the West, and that’s not even taking the situations in Ukraine/Russia, Syria, Iran, or the South Pacific into account. That is why the Alt-Right is destined to rise in much the same way the Republicans did regardless of a) what it is called or b) who is involved.

What is happening is much, much bigger than the media, the Alt-White, or even PJW understand. (PJW hasn’t caught onto the inevitability of identity politics yet, but he’s smart and he’ll figure out their relevance soon.) There is very little that any of us can do about any of this; even the global elite who flatter themselves with the idea that they are driving events are actually doing little more than attempting to hold on to the hurricane and exploit whatever consequences result.

Look, I’m a game designer. I design multi-variable models, and without the ability to design for effect, or impose external limitations on the outputs, fairly minor changes rapidly cause the model to become unpredictable. And the complexity of real world events is vastly greater than a simulation of a sports league, or a single game.

ANGELA MERKEL today announced plans to deport 100,000 migrants who arrived in Germany last year as she continues to backtrack on her controversial open door asylum policy.

The stance marks an astonishing U-turn from the once pro-refugee Chancellor, who has been widely pilloried by critics at home and abroad for her decision to throw open Germany’s borders to millions of migrants.

You can’t bring in one million invaders, then only send back 100,000. Send them all home. They don’t belong in Europe.

The Awful Mask of the Alt-Right

In the most interesting section of the book, he moves from describing the tactics of the fight to advocating a strategy for winning the war. Personally, this is where things get most uncomfortable. While I can easily imagine myself falling foul of my companies HR department, or being hounded for being discovered holding an incorrect opinion – I have several – I struggle to imagine myself trying to get someone else fired in case they try to do the same to me. In fact, there is a section in the book devoted to the importance of keeping people like me on the margins.

Moderates… generally mean well, but they have a tendency to believe that goodwill, hand-holding, and being open minded will inspire even the most lunatic, hate-filled SJW to see sweet reason.

The thrust of the book is that the unvarnished truth is not worth speaking, because in the battle of ideas it will inevitably be defeated by persuasive lies. The only option for people who love the truth is to adopt a new way of speaking – a rhetoric – which crushes the lies that claim to be social justice, and at least allows a path for people to reach the truth, if they care to.

The rhetoric Vox Day advocates is cruel. It laughs at the mentally fragile, hurts by striking at weaknesses that opponents can’t do anything about, and offers little hope to those who want to live today in peace. Perhaps it is necessary for ensuring stability tomorrow. Reading the book is certainly necessary for anyone who wants to understand how our culture has changed.

What I find informative about this review is the resigned tone. I don’t think that would have been the case even one year ago. Moderates are finally capitulating, as they are beginning to understand that their paradigms are false, their enemies are relentless, and their jobs, their lifestyles, their families, and even their nations are endangered. They’re not ready to join the Alt-Right yet, but their eyes are now open, and it is only a matter of time before they realize that there are absolutely no other options available to them.

I received an email from someone with a similar perspective yesterday, who objected to the way I characterized (((Ben Shapiro)))’s statement about who he wants to have sex with his wife and what color the other gentleman should ideally be. I simply asked him to characterize (((Shapiro)))’s comments to which I was responding:

First he mischaracterizes the definition of cuck by going the sexual fetish route. He then used ineffective rhetoric in the quoted portion by saying if someone in the alt-right was actually cuckolded they wouldn’t care so long as the guy cuckolding them was white.

I understand meet rhetoric with rhetoric. What I don’t understand in this case is what truth the rhetoric was pointing towards.

What I fail to understand about “every tactic used against us is justified…” are the moral implications as I despise double standards in general. Your WWI mustard gas analogy makes sense but I still wrestle with the concept morally.

Actually, (((Ben))) lied, which was why his rhetoric was ineffective. What is the truth my rhetoric was pointed towards? The truth that (((Ben Shapiro))) is a shameless liar. (((Shapiro))) lied about  the nature of racism, he lied about American history, he lied about the Constitution, he lied about the Declaration of Independence, he lied about Western civilization, he lied about what “cuckold” means, and he lied about the Alt-Right. And he did it all in a single interview. He very nearly managed to tell all those lies in a single paragraph!

You simply cannot trust that filthy little (((creature))) about anything at all. There is absolutely no truth in him. None whatsoever. That alone should suffice to indicate the intrinsically false nature of “America’s founding Judeo-Christian values” he has proclaimed.

I understand there are those who struggle with the morality of tactical equivalence, but it doesn’t bother me in the slightest. We are called to forgive and be merciful, which means that surrender is not inevitable and victory must be a possibility. And, I can’t help but notice that few of those moderates who profess moral struggles with rhetoric tend to restrain their own whenever they shoot at extremists on their own side.

Western civilization is European

And European-only, the ahistorical fever dreams of cucks and neocons notwithstanding. Immigration is more than merely dyscivic, it is observably dyscivilizational.

Violent attacks on personnel, robberies, and fraud have forced DHL Express to halt all deliveries in the invader-overrun region of Wedding, north-west Berlin, a statement from the company has announced.

The thing that is so ludicrously stupid about the equalitarian position shared by American liberals and conservatives alike is that it assumes because reasonably digestible numbers of European immigrants were semi-successfully assimilated with only one massive civil war followed by 60 years of virtually no immigration, an unlimited number of non-European immigrants can be permitted to enter the country indefinitely.

This is not merely bad logic. This is insane. There is no way – none – to rationally defend or justify the position, which is why its defenders immediately retreat to abstract ideals and pure rhetoric.

The invasion of 60 million immigrants in 50 years, the largest invasion in human history, will lead to war in the United States. There is ZERO question of this, as it is only a matter of time. We can’t know when it will happen, we can’t know exactly why it will happen, but given the fact that the USA is already at a stress level that was last seen in 1856, the odds are against the USA even making it to the 2033 date I had predicted for financial collapse and some form of political dissolution. Keep in mind that I neither created nor calculated the Popular Wellbeing Index or the Political Stress Index, I have merely independently observed some of the factors that go into those cliodynamic metrics.

There will also be continuing conflict in Europe, but given the rapid rise of the nationalist parties, something more akin to Operation Wetback and the Chinese Exclusion Act are more likely.

So, cry Racism, Constitution, Declaration, and Proposition Nation all you like. Virtue-signal your color-blindness all you like. Adopt one child of every color if you want. None of that frantic appeal to totem magic will save you from what is to come any more than it would have in 1861, in 1914, or 1939. None of that is going to excuse your complicity in the nightmares to come. And regardless of what you think of it, understand that the Alt-Right program is the only one that even has the possibility of averting the coming conflict.

No Mitt

Forget the apology. The Trump administration should just say no to Captain Underoos:

Aides to Donald Trump have discussed asking former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney to publicly apologize for insulting the president-elect in order to pave the way for a nomination to lead the State Department.

A Trump transition aide confirmed to DailyMail.com on Friday that there have been ‘discussions’ inside Trump Tower about the possibility. The source wouldn’t say if Trump himself is aware of those discussions or has given them his blessing.

Romney famously tore into Trump in March, telling a Utah audience that the New York billionaire was ‘a phony, a fraud. His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University. He’s playing members of the American public for suckers: He gets a free ride to the White House, and all we get is a lousy hat.’

But eight months after the former Massachusetts governor said that ‘dishonesty is Donald Trump’s hallmark’ and mocked his ‘bullying, the greed, the showing off, the misogyny, the absurd third-grade theatrics,’ Trump is reportedly considering making him America’s top diplomat.

Considering how the Reagan administration was often led astray by its moderates, the God-Emperor Ascendant’s team should know better than to put any trust in Mitt Romney. While Romney is competent and probably will take orders and do as he’s told, he’s simply not popular with, or trusted by, anyone who isn’t a Mormon or a GOPe figure.

There is simply no significant benefit to a situation where the best case scenario is that he doesn’t stab his boss in the back. Bring in new blood. Surely there is someone else out there with height, good teeth, and executive hair.

For folks who don’t know what the alt-right is, it might be worthwhile to just sort of start at the beginning and talk about what the alt-right is—because there are a lot of these various definitions floating around, nearly all of which are wrong.

Basically, the alt-right is a group of thinkers who believe that Western civilization is inseparable from European ethnicity—which is racist, obviously. It’s people who believe that if Western civilization were to take in too many people of different colors and different ethnicities and different religions, then that would necessarily involve the interior collapse of Western civilization. As you may notice, this has nothing to do with the Constitution. It has nothing to do with the Declaration of Independence. It has nothing to do actually with Western civilization. The whole principle of Western civilization is that anybody can involve himself or herself in civilized values. That’s not what the alt-right believes—at least its leading thinkers, people like Richard Spencer and Jared Taylor and Vox Day. Those kind of folks will openly acknowledge that this is their thought process.

Got that? It is RACIST to believe that the European nations are an integral element of Western civilization.

The fact that (((Ben))) asserts that the idea that “anybody can involve himself or herself in civilized values” is “the whole principle of Western civilization” is one of the most shamelessly dishonest things I have ever heard a self-styled conservative say.

As for the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they are latter-day consequences of Western civilization, the most certainly do not define it. Moreover, the Constitution was written specifically to “secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity”, not for immigrants, foreigners, or “the merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions”.

Apparently (((Ben))) is not content that his forebears have attempted to redefine America, American, and Posterity, now he is attempting to redefine Western civilization as something that is non-European. Conservatives, is this really someone you are willing to accept as a conservative spokesman?

Notice that the interview is featured on Slate. It appears the cuckservatives are now publicly moving Left. And the interview reveals considerably more about (((Ben))) and his proclivities than one might like to know.

VD, I’ve read everyday for probably 18 months (and bought a couple of your non science fiction books). I agree with the overwhelming vast majority of what you have to say. I’m not thin skinned and I don’t mind confrontation. From school, to the business world to “around town” I’m considered well above average intelligence….

I still don’t always understand what you are trying to say 25% of the time. While my 38 years of life may prove me not in the fat part of the bell curve, here I most certainly think you would. Which is why when I read, and once every two to three days I think to myself “Vox sure can be an asshole. I don’t think that guy was trying to undermine or go gamma- just had an honest question because he didn’t understand” But I come back to read because you are also extremely insightful, even if I don’t also always understand.

Do you ever think you are turning away A LOT of potential allies because their IQ is 100, 110, 120, 125? The one time I took an IQ test back in high school mine was a little north of the latter. Maybe all those questions aren’t because they are trying to undermine what you are saying or making it about them with their gamma behavior. Sometimes us 100-125 folks just don’t get it. And yet I’m pretty sure if we are going to win, not lose, it’s going to take the 100-125 folks getting on board. I want to win. So in other words Vox, “I love your work. Please don’t always be such an asshole. Cause I want to win.”

I understand I said “I” about a hundred times in that, I’m a reader and not one who comments. Therefore you have no history with me and I no legitimacy with you- forgive my temporary trespass trying to build some cred to make a point.

This tends to remind me of the woman who argued that Ann Coulter would have so much more of an impact if she was just nicer. At the time, Ann had the bestselling nonfiction book in the country and was, as she is now, the most influential conservative political commentator in the world. It doesn’t actually apply as an analogy, since I’m not that successful, but you get the point.

Anyhow, while I’m willing to admit that I do occasionally misread questions that are asked in all innocence or ignorance, my read on a questioner is usually pretty good, having been honed by many years of receiving questions concerning my columns and blog posts. Spergs, trolls, and anklebiters have learned to try to conceal their intentions, and spergs, in particular, love to try to score imaginary points with pedantic, and usually incorrect, “corrections”. And frankly, I consider my response to that sort of thing to be restrained; I would favor capital punishment.

But I’m sure there are honest questions from the 0SD to 2SD crowd that simply don’t get something for one reason or another. It’s possible that I could try to slow things down in order to communicate better with them, or spell things out more, or stop skipping logical steps. I don’t see how that would make sense, however, as there are relatively few people doing what I’m doing. How many other people are introducing people to Fukuyama and Turchin and Taleb and tying their theories into something that can be coherently tied to today’s politics, just to provide one example? And I’m dubious that I have the personality or the patience to surmount the so-called communication gap that separates me from the 0SD to 2SD crowd. I’m not a teacher, after all, and this isn’t my job.

I’d prefer to see people do what the Men of the West have done. Take the ball and run with it. Rather than waiting for me to tone it down or dumb it down, why not write your own translations or impressions of what I’ve said and put it on a blog somewhere? Because, honestly, I don’t see things changing much. We are who we are, and if anything, I’m so busy these days that I am even less inclined to suffer questions and criticism that are less than substantive.

It is a good reminder, though, to think twice before dismissing someone as a troll, a sperg, or an anklebiter and treating them accordingly. Because not everyone who initially looks like one actually is.
