Actually, like most of these sociological “studies”, it’s a silly test. I don’t think this measures anything but the ease with which one can detect the object in the “gunman’s” hands. The mostly black guns, wallets and cellphones are harder to distinguish in the black men’s hands, and therefore require more time to analyze the shape.
