It occurs to me that there happen to be a pair of football games that are of no small interest to many here. This would be the place to discuss it. I don’t think the Patriots are going to have any trouble at all with the Chargers – forget Tom Brady vs the legendary Billy Volek, we’re talking Norv Turner vs Bill Belicheat – and I expect Ryan Grant to slow down the ferocious New York Giants rush just enough to let the Packers hold their own on the Frozen Tundra.
Assuming, of course, that he hangs onto the ball. Besides, who doesn’t want to see a Packers-Patriots Super Bowl, with the beloved old gunslinger riding off into the sunset with a stunning upset over an undefeated team? Not, of course, that we would ever buy into that crazy conspiracy theory mindset….
