The test of a good team is the ability to win games when you don’t play well. The Vikes were downright awful on offense at times, and yet they never panicked, kept hammering away and came out with a very respectable win. And while I REALLY don’t like Childress’s decision not to go for it on fourth-and-inches to win the game – when you have a great rushing attack and are kicking to Devin Hester, going for it is actually less risky – I have to admit that he’s really turned it around since the Green Bay debacle.
Too bad AP couldn’t quite break that 99-yarder, that would have been sweet. And by the way, what was up with that Purple Panda look?
