Actually, it does make sense

Two parents who failed to ensure that their teenage daughter was attending school in central New York have been sentenced to 60 days in jail. Denise Reitz, 44, began serving her time behind bars Monday at the Cayuga County Jail after being sentenced by Ira Town Justice Paula Townsend, according to The Post-Standard of Syracuse. Her 40-year-old husband, James, will serve his sentence on weekends beginning in October.

The couple criticized the Cato-Meridian school district, saying three of their children cannot read and write and that their daughter just doesn’t want to go school.

Silly rabbits. Understanding that a public school “education” has nothing to do with reading, writing and arithmetic is the first step towards waking up. And it’s very difficult to protect yourself or your children when you’re asleep.

When your assumptions don’t match the observable data, it’s time to question your assumptions.
