I’m a longtime supporter of the rossoneri, so I was doubly delighted to see them hand the loathesome Sir Alex Ferguson United a home defeat to kick off the second stage of the Champion’s League. It’s not complete consolation for the previous evening’s horror show featuring Bryan Munich in the Freddy Krueger role, but it’s better than nothing. 2-nil at Highbury isn’t completely unmanageable for the Gunners, but it’s hard to be terribly optimistic about any match that involves the words “Arsenal” and “Europe” in the same sentence.
And Space Bunny is happy about Barca taking down Chelsea, so it’s all good.
