Now on Unauthorized

Now that we have our logo sorted, we can finally begin the process of rolling out the platform-specific apps for which many viewers have been requesting. We also anticipate launching the Medieval History series very soon. This has been a big month for Unauthorized, so if you haven’t subscribed yet, it’s an excellent time to do so and ride with the outlaws of the Internet.

We’re also going to have a special badge for Unauthorized subscribers on SocialGalactic 2.0, which is rapidly approaching Alpha testing.

Two new vids

On Unauthorized TV today:

  • DC or Marvel? The Legend explains the difference between the two comics giants
  • Managing your career. White Bull Business reviews the effects the Big Bull’s choices had on where he ended up today.
In addition to that subscribers-only content, there is of course the usual free daily videos from Big Bear, the Darkstream, and David the Good.

YouTube makes the case for Unauthorized

YouTube engages in yet another round of content crackdown:

YouTube is changing its community guidelines to ban videos promoting the superiority of any group as a justification for discrimination against others based on their age, gender, race, caste, religion, sexual orientation, or veteran status, the company said today. The move, which will result in the removal of all videos promoting Nazism and other discriminatory ideologies, is expected to result in the removal of thousands of channels across YouTube.

“The openness of YouTube’s platform has helped creativity and access to information thrive,” the company said in a blog post. “It’s our responsibility to protect that, and prevent our platform from being used to incite hatred, harassment, discrimination and violence.”

The changes announced on Wednesday attempt to improve its content moderation in three ways. First, the ban on supremacists will remove Nazis and other extremists who advocate segregation or exclusion based on age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or veteran status. In addition to those categories, YouTube is adding caste, which has significant implications in India, and “well-documented violent events,” such as the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting and 9/11. Users are no longer allowed to post videos saying those events did not happen, YouTube said.

Second, YouTube said it would expand efforts announced in January to reduce the spread of what it calls “borderline content and harmful misinformation.” The policy, which applies to videos that flirt with violating the community guidelines but ultimately fall short, aims to limit the promotion of those videos through recommendations. YouTube said the policy, which affects videos including flat-earthers and peddlers of phony miracle cures, had already decreased the number of views that borderline videos receive by 50 percent. In the future, the company said, it will recommend videos from more authoritative sources, like top news channels, in its “next watch” panel.

Finally, YouTube said it would restrict channels from monetizing their videos if they are found to “repeatedly brush up against our hate speech policies.” Those channels will not be able to run ads or use Super Chat, which lets channel subscribers pay creators directly for extra chat features.

That was fast. Literally 10 minutes after I read about YouTube’s new policies, I received several emails from YouTube:

Hi Voxiversity,

As you may know, our Community Guidelines describe which content we allow – and don’t allow – on YouTube. Your video Immigration and War was flagged to us for review. Upon review, we’ve determined that it violates our guidelines and we’ve removed it from YouTube.

Please note that this removal has not resulted in a Community Guidelines strike or penalty on your account.

Sincerely,
– The YouTube Team

But wait, there’s more!

As you may know, our Community Guidelines describe which content we allow – and don’t allow – on YouTube. Your video Voxday Darkstream 04.25.2018 The Problem with Jordan Peterson was flagged to us for review. Upon review, we’ve determined that it violates our guidelines and we’ve removed it from YouTube.

As you may know, our Community Guidelines describe which content we allow – and don’t allow – on YouTube. Your video Voxday Darkstream 04.28.2018 The Culling of the Cucks was flagged to us for review. Upon review, we’ve determined that it violates our guidelines and we’ve removed it from YouTube.

If you were waiting for a sign to subscribe to Unauthorized.TV, this would be it.

UPDATE: a number of Owen Benjamin’s videos have also been deleted.

UPDATE: Steven Crowder’s channel has now been demonetized.

Update on our continued review–we have suspended this channel’s monetization. We came to this decision because a pattern of egregious actions has harmed the broader community and is against our YouTube Partner Program policies.

The Legend on breaking into comics

The Legend Chuck Dixon discusses how he broke into comics back in the day. For Unauthorized subscribers only.

With regards to the disappearance and reappearance of the Darkstreams and Owen’s Livestreams, that was a consequence of the recent site update. A new category was added to which each existing video needed to be independently assigned, which took an amount of time. Everything should be operating correctly now.

The Legend on Bane

The Legend Chuck Dixon talks about the creation of Bane, the famous Batman villain, in the second episode of Chuck Dixon on Comics. For Unauthorized subscribers only. Sadly, rumor has it that Kellen Lutz will be playing Bane in the next round of DC films, in opposition to Robert Patterson’s Batman.

The Legend on comics

The Legend Chuck Dixon joins Unauthorized.TV. This is for subscribers only, but the first episode, The Wrong Part of My Brain, is open to everyone. The Legend will be answering fan mail, If you haven’t subscribed to Unauthorized yet but would like to support Mr. Dixon, you can do so via The Legend Subscription, which is monthly.

In other news, yesterday’s update now permits variable-speed playback and full-screen playback. I tried the new streaming feature, but it did not appear to work, so we’re looking into that now.

In related news, I have turned off the comments and the chat on the Darkstream channel on YouTube. I will open up the chat again once we hit 30k members and have the ability to hold member’s-only chat. I don’t plan to open up the comments on YouTube again, as we anticipate having Unauthorized comments for subscribers in the not-too-distant future.

Little servants of the lie

It’s interesting to see how these gamma losers who hate Owen Benjamin think they can be more successful with their lies than their mainstream counterparts:

Vox live now. Mob it up with owen uploading to vimeo questions!!

Now that their strategy – such as it is – of saying anything they can imagine might inspire a rift between Owen and me is clear, it will be even easier to deal with them. They don’t seem to grasp that I’ve been successfully dealing with anklebiters, trolls, and mobs without any trouble since 2001. And I’ve had gammas trying to cause rifts between me and Joseph Farah, Milo, Mike Cernovich, Stefan Molyneux, Roosh, Roissy, Rollo Tomassi, and others for years.

OsoDeMaricon
People need to stay on Teddy’s ass and make him either defend or denounce Owen on every stream. Between the constant badgering on every stream and the extremely low traffic to unstreamable.tv, he eventually WILL get sick of Owen and give him some sort of ultimatum.

It’s amazing how little they know me, that they think persistence will work against me when SJWs have been attacking me relentlessly for at least 14 years. Their newest line is that Unauthorized is a scam, which indicates that they have no idea what the investment opportunity I have mentioned is about. Which, I’m sure is more than a little amusing to all of the Arkhaven backers.

UPDATE: They’re just ever so clever. No one could possibly see through them!

Vox the revenge of the cis guys are crazy you have to address this their relentlessly mocking you and trying slander you and discredit you. Only a gamma would allow them to do that to you I know your not a gamma but if you dont refute them it’ll be harder to respect you

Demonstrating, once more, that gammas simply don’t understand sigmas at all. They don’t understand alphas either, of course, but at least the misunderstandings aren’t comically off base. It’s downright funny to see how they imagine I want their respect when they don’t even respect themselves enough to shower or stop cramming doughnuts into their porcine faces.
