Migrate them to Honduras

It’s a bit ironic that the technocrats are talking about migrating Californians out of California due to the extreme drought conditions, even as tens of thousands of Central American immigrants continue to migrate into California:

It’s going from worse to worst each week in California.

Suffering in its third year of drought, more than 58 percent of the state is currently in “exceptional drought” stage, according to the latest U.S. Drought Monitor map. That marks a huge jump from just seven days ago, when about 36 percent of the state was categorized that way.

Exceptional drought, the most extreme category, indicates widespread crop and pasture losses and shortages of water in reservoirs, streams and wells.

If the state continues on this path, there may have to be thoughts about moving people out, said Lynn Wilson, academic chair at Kaplan University and who serves on the climate change delegation in the United Nations.

“Civilizations in the past have had to migrate out of areas of drought,” Wilson said. “We may have to migrate people out of California.”

Now, I’m no expert on water usage, but it seems to me that before California starts forcibly migrating its residents out, it might want to consider not permitting any more people to migrate in.

That being said, no sane governor would permit the Californication of his state. Californians have trashed what used to be the Golden State; imagine what they will do wherever they descend next. It seems to me the only just thing to do is migrate them to Honduras. Then migrate all the pro-immigration people on the East Coast to the dessicated remnants of California so they can experience the benefits of the policies they’ve been advocating.

They’re dumb enough that one can simply tell them: “Drought? Oh, don’t worry about that. You’ve got plenty of water. Look, you’re right on the ocean!”

Immigration and overpopulation

Finally a group concerned with overpopulation is turning its attention to the actual problem:

A group dedicated to saving the planet by cutting runaway population increases is raising a new and shocking issue in Washington’s bitter fight over immigration reform: Most of the nation’s population growth is from immigrants, and they are consuming resources dangerously fast.

According to Negative Population Growth Inc., 80 percent of the growth in U.S. population comes from immigration, legal, illegal and among American-born children of immigrants.

“With increased population, we see a direct increase in the problems our nation faces on a daily basis: pollution, over-consumption, traffic gridlock, crowded schools and hospitals, overburdened social services, unemployment, crumbling infrastructure, urban sprawl, over-development, threatened or extinct animal and plant species, and dwindling natural resources,” said said Tracy Canada, the group’s deputy director.

It is madness that groups opposed to housing spread, pollution, and overpopulation have remained silent on immigration for so long when 80 percent of the population growth comes from immigrants. The environmentalists, in particular, are guilty of selling out the environment, with groups such as the Sierra Club having had their silence on the subject literally purchased by the son of a pair of Jewish immigrants, David Geffen.

Overpopulation is a third world problem caused by first world do-gooders. And more do-goodery isn’t going to solve it, but will merely make it worse. One of the best arguments for shutting down immigration and repatriating low-productivity immigrants is that otherwise, the first world will be in no position to help the third world once its infrastructure begins to collapse.

A close call

Unless you lived in Minnesota 30 years ago, I can’t possibly explain how insane it sounds to hear that there are Africans living in Coon Rapids. I wonder how long it will be before they decide that the name of the town is racist:

Ebola victim who sparked fears of a worldwide outbreak was American: Father who died of incurable virus in Nigeria after taking international flight was going to visit his children in Minnesota…The couple, who both hold US citizenship are originally from Liberia and Decontee arrived in the country with her family in 1991 and Patrick came in the early 2000s. The couple are part of the large Liberian community in Minnesota, who moved there in the aftermath of the nation’s two civil wars in the 1980s and late 1990s.

The imported Somalis are bad enough, what with their suicide bombers and the occasional “gas leak” explosions that mysteriously blow up their residences. But Ebola-carrying Liberians too? This is Night of the Comet-level lunacy.

I’m as familiar with the melting pot mythology and Ellis Island rhetoric as anyone else. I get the idea that time plus geographic location is supposed to magically transform people from anywhere into something they previously were not. But seriously, even if you are one of those people whose grandparents were immigrants and are emotionally tied to the idea that you are too a Real American like George Washington because you are resident in a certain geography and there is a piece of paper that says you are, do you really think this is all going to end well? If so, how?

What, specifically, is the positive end result that is somehow going to be produced by establishing Mogadishu on the Mississippi and sending 30 underage Guatamalans to every town in America? Do you see America remaining the same, is it changing for the better, or for the worse? And if diversity is good, then why has every country in the world been predominantly homogenous until very recently?

Perhaps if the unfortunate Mr. Sawyer had lived long enough to bring the Ebola virus to Coon Rapids, that would be enough to convince the American public that this whole “we is the world” sentiment is fundamentally misguided. But I doubt it.

What was he waiting for?

Texas governor Rick Perry finally deploys the Texas National Guard:

Texas Gov. Rick Perry is expected Monday to announce the deployment of up to 1,000 National Guard troops to the border following an incident in which members of Mexican drug cartels allegedly fired shots from a .50-caliber machine gun from the Mexican side of the border into Texas, sending U.S. Border Patrol guards scurrying for cover.

Following the shooting incident Friday night, Texas state Rep. Terry Canales, a Democrat, told the Associated Press he was briefed by his staff on Sunday after a conference call with the governor’s office, Texas National Guard and the state Department of Public Safety. Perry is scheduled to make the announcement Monday at 2 p.m. Central Time.

More than 3,000 Border Patrol agents now work in South Texas, and Perry has repeatedly asked President Obama to send the National Guard to the border. At the same time, Perry has come under growing pressure from the conservative wing of his own party to act on his own under Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution. This clause gives states the right to declare an ‘imminent danger’…and to call up the National Guard.

Conservative politicians don’t seem to understand that the days of “calling for” this and “fighting for” that are over. Do something or shut up. Why was Perry asking Obama to do his job for him? It’s this sort of political tone-deafness that allowed a very vulnerable Romney to steamroll him during the 2012 nomination.

And why only 1,000 National Guardsmen? That’s not enough to control the border. It looks as if Perry is only acting in order to appear he is doing something.

A hand overplayed

I think we can safely say that the world is now officially holocausted out, as more and more people across the West are unwilling to give Jews the benefit of the doubt when they cry anti-semite:

A new, unofficial report indicates that a Jewish doctor who claimed she was the victim of an antisemitic when she was thrown off of a JetBlue flight earlier this month was actually the aggressor in the mid-air dispute with a Palestinian woman who she said was a ‘murderer’ and that she probably had explosives in her bag.

The new report, which WPBF says it did not receive from the airline, Queens Doctor Lisa Rosenberg ‘accused customer 9C of being a Palestinian murderer, and that her people were all murderers and that they murder children,’ the station reported on Wednesday.

At the time of her getting escorted off the flight, on July 7, at an airport in Florida, Rosenberg told a local news outlet that she was called a ‘Zionist pig’ by the woman seated next to her.

In a phone interview with WPBF, the airline said that Rosenberg’s version of events ‘in no way reflects the report that we have.’ In the unofficial report, a flight attendant described how Rosenberg ‘went even further to suggest 9C had explosives in her bag and it would bring the aircraft down.’

In similar fashion, I noticed that both the French and British press have exposed Jews as the aggressors in the recent “street battles” in Paris, although you won’t see this reported in any of the American newspapers, which inaccurately described the demonstrations as attacks and the subsequent attack of the demonstrators as a defense of the synagogue. But no synagogues were attacked that day; the various claims that two and three of them were attacked were confirmed to be false and there is video to prove it.

A group of 150 Jewish men were seen brandishing iron bars and cans of pepper spray as they clashed with Pro-Palestinian demonstrators in Paris. Video footage of the clashes show the group chanting racist slogans as they roamed the streets. It came as President Francois Hollande warned that he did not want to see ‘the Israeli-Palestinian conflict imported into France’.

A still taken from the video shows dozens of men in Paris walking down the streets armed with chairs and other weapons, before clashing with pro-Palestinian demonstrators. Around 150 mainly young men were seen carrying weapons, like chairs, and chanting racist slogans as they went on the rampage. French Jewish groups have complained about an increase in anti-Semitism in recent months, with many accusing Muslim youths of targeting them.

But a video shot close to the Place de la Bastille on Sunday, and verified by police before being posted on YouTube, appears to show pro-Israel groups are also actively involved in clashes. In Paris, CRS riot police did not arrest any of the group, thought to be linked to the Jewish Defence League, despite them openly fighting in broad daylight. In the video, those amongst the group can be heard chanting ‘**** you Palestine’ as they smash up chairs and metal tables to be used as missiles….

Alexis Bachelay, a Paris MP for the ruling Socialist party, said: ‘There has evidently been a media manipulation about who really got assaulted. These are extremely serious facts that need to be investigated thoroughly by the police. It is not the first time that young French people of Muslim origin are stigmatised by the media. French people of Muslim origin should be protected by the law when demonstrating. They should not be attacked by radical groups like the LDJ’.

Having been falsely accused many times of anti-semitism myself for nothing more than refusing to assume that all Jews are innocent angels at all times and devoid of all human failings (and I’m probably one of the very few individuals who has been personally cleared of the charge by the Jewish Defense League itself), I have learned to be extremely skeptical of all assertions of anti-semitism presented without evidence. As with women with sexism and blacks with racism, crying anti-semitism has become the first resort of any Jew caught with his hand in a cookie jar.

That doesn’t mean anti-semitism doesn’t exist. That doesn’t mean there aren’t people who wish to kill Jews for any number of reasons. That doesn’t mean that every last synagogue in France isn’t going to be burned to the ground. But it does mean that one should no more accept the word of a Jew on the matter than one should accept the word of a woman that she has been raped.

I am a Zionist because I am a nationalist. The Jews have a right to their homeland, Israel. They also have a right to invade Gaza because they were being attacked; hundreds of rocket launches is a legitimate casus belli. But they have no more right to Paris than the Arabs do, and the French would be wise to repatriate all of these bold defenders of their various homelands to let them fight it out there rather than in the heart of their capital city. Because it is patently obvious that neither side gives a damn about France.

18,000 and H1B

Item 1: Microsoft Chief
Executive Officer Satya Nadella kicked off one of the largest layoffs in
tech history on Thursday, hoping to reshape the aging PC industry titan
into a nimbler rival to Apple and Google, and jolt a culture at the
company that is used to protecting its existing Windows and Office
franchises.
Microsoft Corp said on Thursday
it will slash up to 18,000 jobs, or 14 percent of its workforce, over
the next 12 months as it almost halves the size of its newly acquired
Nokia phone business and tries to become a cloud-computing and
mobile-friendly software company. The
larger-than-expected cuts are the deepest in the software giant’s
39-year history and come five months into Nadella’s tenure.

Item 2: Bill Gates says the United States’ position as the global leader in innovation is at risk. The Microsoft chairman says there is a deficit of Americans with computer-science degrees, and he wants the government to make it easier for Microsoft to hire foreign-born workers. Gates testified before the House Committee on Science Technology on Wednesday about what he sees as a need to liberalize rules for H1-B visas for skilled foreign workers. Currently, Congress has set an annual limit on H1-Bs at 65,000, with an additional 20,000 earmarked for foreign students with advanced degrees from U.S. universities.

Item 3: Immigration and visa reform are necessary to boost the U.S. economy and job market, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said Monday. Disputing the idea that Silicon Valley execs are simply trying to secure a higher number of H1B visas for their own companies, Zuckerberg told attendees at the event: “This is something that we believe is really important for the future of our country — and for us to do what’s right.”

It’s not terribly difficult to understand why nations experiencing economic stress are so often inclined to resort to nationalizing corporations, not when the corporate executives are so blatantly acting against the interests of the citizenry.

Immifada: the body count begins

In addition to doing the jobs Americans won’t do, immigrants are committing the crimes Americans won’t commit. This woman’s blood is on the hands of the Obama administration and the advocates of immigration:

An illegal immigrant who was released by U.S. authorities with a Notice to Appear has been arrested for the alleged murder of a woman and kidnapping of children on U.S. soil. The alleged crimes occurred after the man was released.

The man, Pedro Alberto Monterroso-Navas, entered the U.S. illegally with children and turned himself in to U.S. Border Patrol agents. He was processed and released, as are all illegal immigrants who come as unaccompanied minors or incomplete family units from Central America. The alien is from Honduras.

The arrest was first reported by the Associated Press (AP), but Breitbart Texas has exclusively confirmed that the man was part of the Obama Administration’s catch and release policy for family groups from Central America.

It cannot be denied that if the man had simply been repatriated immediately, he would not have been able to kill anyone in Louisiana. Anti-immigrationists need to talk up the danger of immigrants; playing upon real fear for the safety of America’s citizens and childrens is one effective way to supersede the appeal to Ellis Island.

Who can understand the French?

It seems extraordinary that the French people should be so tremendously upset about the lethal attacks the Israeli Defense Forces are launching on Gaza.

Clashes erupted in Paris on Sunday as thousands of people protested against Israel and in support of residents in the Gaza Strip, where a six-day conflict has left 168 Palestinians dead. Several thousand demonstrators walked calmly through the streets of Paris behind a large banner that read “Total Support for the Struggle of the Palestinian People”.

But clashes erupted at the end of the march on Bastille Square, with people throwing projectiles onto a cordon of police who responded with tear gas.

The unrest continued early Sunday evening as police announced six arrests had been made. A small group tired to break into two synagogues in central Paris, a police source told AFP.

It’s remarkable that they feel such a close bond with the Palestinian People and their struggle. They don’t seem to be similarly concerned with the battle over water resources in California. I guess there are some mysteries we’ll never be able to understand.

Sooner than I thought

It may be more of a kneejerk resistance to Obama’s latest immigration debacle than anything seriously principled, but mainstream conservatives have finally found the courage to begin openly calling for mass deportations and an end to auto-citizenship:

INGRAHAM: OK. First thing you do is start deporting people not by the hundreds, not by the dozens — by the thousands. And that means entire families. Not just a father, a mother. But we keep families unified by deporting all people who are here illegally number one.

O’REILLY: Wait, logistically who gets deported? Do you go door to door? Do you search them out?

INGRAHAM: Wherever we find people who are not supposed to be in this country legally, those people have to go back to their home country. But families should be sent together.

O’REILLY: Do you have an active federal police force seeking them out?

INGRAHAM: The way if used to work, Bill, and the way Eisenhower did it is federal, state and local, they worked all together. They didn’t demonize each other. They didn’t oppose one another. They all work together for the common good much the country. I think it can happen again. It will be really positive. We are not picking and choosing. Where we find illegal aliens they have to go home. Keep families together that’s number one.

O’REILLY: Mass deportations, that’s number one. What’s number two?

INGRAHAM: Thousands not hundreds. Number two, we have to stop visas and stop foreign aid to country who is will not repatriate the citizens of those countries that left and came to our country illegally.

We’re saying this of Guatemala, Salvador, Costa Rica, Honduras, some of these South American countries. If they don’t agree to repatriate their citizens back home and stop sending signals implicitly, explicitly that people should come here, then they get no more foreign aid. We stop all visas from those countries from coming in. This is a crisis, and we have to deal with it in a serious way.

Number three, there has to be an end to this thing called birthright citizenship. Some people call it anchor babies. It’s not required by our Constitution. It does not require a constitutional amendment. Harry Reid was for this about 15, 16 years ago. He went on the Senate floor proclaimed that we should end birthright citizenship. So that should go. We also should have severe penalties in place that are enforced, Bill, against employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants who undercut the American worker and the legal immigrants who want to earn a decent wage. Severe civil penalties. If they have to be criminal penalties for successive violations, we have to do that.

However, conservatives aren’t entirely serious about defending the nation yet. They’re still hung up on the irrelevant difference between legal and illegal immigration. What is relevant is not the legal status of the immigrant, but the identification of the immigrant. Illegal Canadians and Brits are not part of the problem here. Legal Mexicans and Nigerians and Saudis are.

Siding with the invaders

The federal government has chosen its side, and it is clearly not the side of the law-abiding American people:

As illegal immigrants continue to spill across the U.S.-Mexico border, federal authorities are attempting to relocate the migrants from South Texas to housing facilities in states across the nation. One such facility is located in Murrieta, California, where a large group of protesters recently blocked a bus full of migrants from arriving. The protesters remain there, adamant that illegal immigrants don’t get dumped in their town.

But soon the concerned citizens may be forced to step down–Breitbart Texas has learned that federal agents plan to arrive in Murrieta on Monday with riot gear to ensure that another busload makes it to the housing facility.

Jeremy Oliver, a resident of Temecula, California–a town that neighbors Murrieta–told Breitbart Texas that local police officers warned the protesters that “it’s going to get ugly.”

Oliver said, “The feds are pissed that they haven’t been able to use this facility. Officers out there warned people that federal agents will be in Murrieta on Monday–they are going to get the next bus through no matter what. Riot gear and shields will be used to push the crowd back.”

John Henry, a Murrieta resident since 1991, was told the same thing by local officers.

“We’re being told that federal Marshals or ICE will be here in the next few days and that they are bringing riot gear,” Henry said. “They’re apparently going to be blocking off the street with concrete blockades so that no vehicles can get through. The River County Sheriff’s Department showed up last night and brought a huge watch tower that shoots up into the air 35 feet.”

It will be interesting how determined the Feds will be to protect the continued invasion of the southern border if the protesters show up armed and in similar numbers as they did at the Bundy Ranch earlier this year.

Seriously, if the Germans simply hadn’t armed its soldiers, how many of those defending the current invasion of the USA would have defended Operation Barbarossa? And it would appear that a big apology is owed to those Germans who peacefully immigrated into the Sudentenland, as that migration was considerably less violent than the ongoing annexation of the American southwest.

UPDATE: And it looks to get interesting: A group that identifies itself as a coalition of “Patriots” has put out a call for people to go to the Texas-Mexico border and help with a citizen militia operation called “Secure our Border – Laredo.” A spokeswoman for the group, Denice Freeman, said the operation is a call for civilian militia members — both armed and unarmed — to voluntarily guard private property in the Laredo area and other Texas locations where owners feel threatened by “drug cartels and from gangs, particularly the MS-13 gangs,” a Salvadoran-based gang that is considered among the most dangerous in this country by law enforcement.
