Nothing Works Anymore: German Edition

A reader writes to share his recent experience attempting to get his car serviced.

Thought I would share my experiences with trying to get my car serviced in Germany.

I booked the appointment online at a major car garage chain, unfortunately when I booked I clicked the wrong service type, my bad, but the non-German guy at the garage gave me another appointment slot about 1 week later and confirmed it as he was clicking his computer. I ring up the day before to confirm that I can drop the car off that evening as I had to do a business trip. There was no record in the system that I have an appointment tomorrow. Now our holiday is approaching and we need the car serviced, I find a garage on their website that can do the service that week. It is a town about 80km away. I go there on the day and they told me that the IT system is not working and it´s allowing people to book services when there is no mechanic available. Fortunately, they were able to fit me in a day later. I caught the train 1.5hrs to fetch my car, on the day it was ready, and there is a big sign out the front of the shop that their IT system has problems so we cannot pay with card. I argued with the guy, another non-German, to let me drive my car to the nearest ATM instead of walking there and wasting 2hrs time. We finally negotiated that I leave my ID there. This is where they tell me they cannot give me an invoice as the entire IT system crashed but it will be back on line on Monday.

This was 3 weeks ago and needing the receipt to claim on my company they told me it will be another 2 to 4 weeks. Is it a coincidence that there has been a huge influx of Indian IT workers in Germany? My friend in IT says it´s almost 100 percent due to Indian programming and management.

Then, as I park in an underground garage, I found out about a day later before our holiday that they had scratched the shit out of the entire right back side of the car.

Apparently the German dirt is not magic either. And not being German, I can’t even imagine the full extent of how much this sort of inefficiency and incompetence must infuriate them. This is really just another lesson in the obvious:

  • Pick your own damn cotton.
  • Build your own platforms.
  • Utilize your own services.
  • Marry your own kind.

Omitting the Obvious

Peter Turchin is doing some valuable work analyzing the whys and wherefores of societal breakdowns:

All human societies experience recurrent waves of political crisis, such as the one we face today. My research team built a database of hundreds of societies across 10,000 years to try to find out what causes them. We examined dozens of variables, including population numbers, measures of well-being, forms of governance, and the frequency with which rulers are overthrown. We found that the precise mix of events that leads to crisis varies, but two drivers of instability loom large. The first is popular immiseration—when the economic fortunes of broad swaths of a population decline. The second, and more significant, is elite overproduction—when a society produces too many superrich and ultra-educated people, and not enough elite positions to satisfy their ambitions.

These forces have played a key role in our current crisis. In the past 50 years, despite overall economic growth, the quality of life for most Americans has declined. The wealthy have become wealthier, while the incomes and wages of the median American family have stagnated. As a result, our social pyramid has become top-heavy. At the same time, the U.S. began overproducing graduates with advanced degrees. More and more people aspiring to positions of power began fighting over a relatively fixed number of spots. The competition among them has corroded the social norms and institutions that govern society.

The U.S. has gone through this twice before. The first time ended in civil war. But the second led to a period of unusually broad-based prosperity. Both offer lessons about today’s dysfunction and, more important, how to fix it.

However, being an immigrant, he naturally averts his eyes from one obvious contributing factor. It’s not an accident that the periods in which the crises were created were periods of high immigration, and it’s also not an accident that the way in which the second crisis was averted was during a time of very strict limits on immigration.

And since there is no appetite whatsoever for reversing the mass foreign invasion of the USA, there will be no fixing the current dysfunction.

Diversity is Why Nothing Works Anymore

A former Boeing engineer explains why Boeing can’t build quality aerospace projects anymore.

Once upon a time Boeing had an excellent reputation for quality and performance on contracts. Then the big aerospace layoffs hit – they absorbed MacDonald Douglas and adopted their crappy penny pinching management. That’s when the big layoffs hit as well – but there was one other thing that happened then. I was working at Boeing and one day we were called into a “all hands” meeting of the engineers by management. We were told to look around the room – virtually everyone there was white males. Then we were told that very soon only 15 percent of the engineering staff was going to be white males in the near future. This was around the mid 90s and shows DEI was already being adopted by some corporations. Because I had specialist knowledge, after I was laid off I was soon recalled and “What do you know?”(tm) I was the only white male in the team – which worked out to 15 percent. I retired a few years later but I can’t help but wonder if the reason Boeing now sucks is they went down the DEI rabbit hole.

Equalitarianism is antithetical to quality. And diversity means convergence, which indicates the eventual inability to perform the organization’s primary tasks.

The USA is no longer the USA of 1980 or 1950, much less 1920. Adjust your expectations accordingly. Because both Russia and China lack diversity relative to the USA, they now possess all the advantages of having a smarter and more capable work force that the USA did prior to 1965.

Indoor Plumbing is White Supremacy

Most people thought I was exaggerating when I said that even indoor plumbing would be lost if the war for the West was won by the globalists. Now they are beginning to understand that I meant it quite literally and without exaggeration.

So, I hate writing this but it’s getting out of hand. Just spoke to some family members in Southern Ontario and went to visit them, and there are literally people POOPING on all the beaches along Lake Erie. These are small towns and most of them don’t have bathrooms on the beaches, so instead of driving to a local Tim Horton’s (or planning their bowel movements to NOT be in public on a beach) these terrible people are just… well, pooping all over the beaches, trespassing on people’s property for photos of “how beautiful Canada is”, then leaving behind garbage- we’re talking mounds of trash just being left behind on the beaches. Some residents try to talk to them but the people don’t speak English and just continue to litter massive amounts of garbage, and take dumps on the beach.

Sadly, the people pooping on the beaches are all of the same demographic- new Canadians from India. The fact that we have such a high demographic of Indian immigrants choosing Canada as their home means that we need to have provisions in place to teach people the differences in our culture, such as the importance of hygiene and other things we have that may not be the same in their country of origin.

How dare this racist paragon of White Supremacy dare to try imposing her racist standards of toiletry on the noble New Canadians from India, who are just as Canadian as anyone whose parents arrived in the 1600s? Who is this person to impose her standards of hygiene on anyone else, what’s next, mandatory Zyklon showers?

As for the new custom of beach defecation, isn’t cholera a small price to pay for diversity and inclusion?

The dirt is not magic. The dirt is NEVER magic.

The Limits Have Been Reached

It’s not going to be too much longer before Europe is riven by violent internal conflict between the pro-migration forces and the nationalist forces, as evidenced by this recent event in three Italian lake towns.

It is the first significant incident of the kind that critics of unrestricted and, above all, unconditional mass migration have feared for decades. On the southern shores of Lake Garda, around 1,500 North Africans formed a mob that undertook a violent “war campaign” through several localities.

There were attacks, multiple cases of severe property damage, and numerous cases of sexual assault. The perpetrators waved African flags and shouted slogans of “reconquest.” The call for the roundup is said to have been made on June 2 via Tiktok. The towns affected were Peschiera del Garda, Castelnuovo and Desenzano.

The African mob moved through the streets of the villages, destroying shop windows and attacking tourists and bystanders.

To the contrary, it is the supporters of unrestricted and unconditional mass migration who have feared this moment for decades. The critics always knew it was going to come. Ethnic cleansing is inevitable. It has always happened, sooner or later, throughout the course of history.

The only question is who will remain, the natives or the newcomers.

The Death of Cities

And dancing around the obvious. Sarah Hoyt has an interesting piece on the decline of the major US cities that somehow manages to avoid a single reference to the causal factor:

Despite the fact that in the late 20th century we were all taught — or imbibed through entertainment — that the future was the megalopolis, and that in the future everyone lived in cities, the future has taken a sharp u-turn, and what we’re looking at is quite different.

We are standing, staring in awed horror, as cities take themselves apart. It seems Detroit was the foretelling of destiny for the American cities, the inescapable future. But in the end it’s not even Detroit. It’s the way of those enigmatic ruins found in the middle of nowhere, where you look at them and say “Who were they? Why did they build this? And why did they leave it?”

Why did they leave it in the first half of the 21st century is readily answerable: crime, malfeasance, bureaucrat hatred of those they govern, making the cities unlivable. Who will stay to be abused when they could live anywhere?

And that’s the second part, the sting in the tail of what’s happening: the seekers of knowledge, the setters of culture, those who make and break things do not need to live in the city anymore.

While Hoyt has finally come to terms, more or less, with the fact that she is not an American despite her acceptance of many American ideals, apparently it is still too emotionally painful to point out that the reason for the death of the cities is that white people, particularly white Americans, do not wish to live around black people or under immigrant rule.

And these days, living in a major city requires both.

She correctly notes that the major cities are now unliveable, but the reasons that she provides are merely consequences of the real reasons. Detroit was 91 percent white in 1940, with a population of 1,623,452. In 2020, the city was 11 percent white, with a population of 639,111. This demographic change is not the result of “crime, malfeasance, and bureaucratic hatred”, but rather the cause of it.

That same process is already taking place in the suburbs and smaller cities. The problem is that in the USA, Europe, and Australia, there is nowhere else to go. And once there is nowhere further for whites to retreat, the empire will collapse in violence, if it has not already for other reasons.

Enjoy Being Poor

The British people are told to shut up and accept their national impoverishment. But at least they’ll have the satisfaction of knowing their poverty was caused by choosing the wrong side and backing a certain loser:

British households and businesses need to accept that they are worse off and should stop asking for wage increases and pushing prices higher, the Bank of England’s chief economist, Huw Pill, said on Tuesday. According to Pill, “a series of inflationary shocks” generated by the pandemic, the conflict in Ukraine, and crop shortages have sent prices in the UK to a 40-year high. He claimed that in response to surging bills and other rising costs, workers and businesses are attempting to transfer the impact of inflation onto each other.

The neoliberal world order’s promised benefits to the nations of the West are failing at a remarkable rate. Remember, all of the nations of the West are suffering massive invasion and crime because importing foreigners was supposed to be good for their economies. Only it observably hasn’t been while the societal costs have been catastrophic. The end results have been the complete opposite of the shiny happy seculatopia that was promised.

And yet, there is an easy fix for most of the problems of Clown World, from the economy to the environment. And that is mass deportation on a scale that has seldom been seen before. It may be unthinkable at the moment, but it is inevitable because the alternative is chaos and violence that will ultimately produce the same results at a much higher price to everyone.

US Life Expectancy Declines

So much for the myth of inevitable progress. Even the most-retarded conservatives are beginning to consider the possibility that the dirt may not be not magic.

Years of widening economic inequality, compounded by the pandemic and political storm and stress, have given Americans the impression that the country is on the wrong track. Now there’s empirical data to show just how far the country has run off the rails: Life expectancies have been falling.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported last year that life expectancy at birth fell in 2021 to its lowest level since 1996, a decline of nearly a year on average from 2020. That was after a decline by 1.8 years from 2019 to 2020, producing the worst two-year decline since 1921-23….

The factors contributing to America’s decline in life expectancies could point to a decline in its international stature.

Although wealthy countries as a group suffered a fall in longevity during the pandemic, the discrepancy between life expectancies in the U.S. and its closest cohorts has been widening for decades. In 1995, U.S. life expectancy was about six months less than those of high-income countries; by 2020 it was about three years, according to the World Bank.

In 1995, the U.S. had a commanding lead over China, which was about 5 1/2 years behind the U.S.; China then roared ahead, outstripping the U.S. in 2020, when its average life expectancy clocked in at 78.08 years, compared with America’s 77.28.

The mass vaxx campaign is going to contribute to declining life expectancies around the world, but that’s merely one of the significant factors. The fact that the USA is now a minority-European country means that its average quality of life is also going to more closely approximate the global norm.

A society is necessarily either eugenic or dysgenic. And adopting policies that are anti-eugenic is similar to adopting anti-racist policies, since societal degradation is the inevitable, mathematically-guaranteed result in either case for any society that is above average.

The wages of sin are death. And the wages of intellectual inversion are decline.

Immigrants Don’t Grow Economies

Despite importing millions of Arabs and Africans since 2015, the German mortgage market is collapsing, soon to be followed by the real estate market.

According to the latest report issued by the consultancy, the Eurozone’s largest economy saw mortgage lending fall by a record 54% year over year. The report noted, “The decline in March will be even worse due to a base effect, given the record new business of €32.3 billion in 2022.”

The consultancy, based out of Dusseldorf, pointed out that the total new mortgage business figure of €12 billion ($13 billion) in February 2023 was the lowest reading since 2010, adding, “And this does not even take into account house price inflation.”

Germans have been under harsh economic pressures, as a worsening cost of living crisis has merged with rapidly rising interest rates to put the dream of home ownership out of reach for many Germans.

A recent poll of economists by the Reuters news agency found that experts are predicting a much steeper fall in home prices than previously expected as higher interest rates weigh heavily on demand.

It is projected that the average price of a home in Germany will fall 5.8% in 2023, and 2.5% in 2024.

A report by the German Property Federation noted in February that the shortage of housing in Germany was the worst seen in two decades. In addition, new residential construction is forecast to decline even further in the coming year.

The idea that immigrants are not only satisfactory substitutes for the native population, but are actually necessary for the growth of an economy is one of the most poisonous and destructive lies ever told. What we’re seeing in Germany is disproving generations of economic theory that was never based on anything but pure globalist propaganda.

Qualitative matters cannot always be solved by quantitative means.

The Inevitable Math

The astonishing thing isn’t that this was allowed to happen. We all know why it happened. The astonishing thing is that there are still Boomers who sincerely believe that the USA of 2023 is essentially the same thing as the USA of 1973. But it isn’t.

This doesn’t merely have significant implications for one’s quality of life or the political demographics or the societal infrastructure, it has massive implications for the military capabilities of the US armed forces. As the US no longer has a European military or a powerful manufacturing industry, it no longer possesses the comparative advantages it previously had.

Exactly how much its performance has been degraded is not possible to say, but the demographic changes indicate that the 2020s US military will probably not perform as well as the 1970s US military did. And the early evidence out of Afghanistan and Ukraine tends to support that hypothesis.

With regards to the fate of the country and its population, there are three possible outcomes. And none of them can be reasonably described as either positive or pleasant.
