England wants out

The British political establishment is being absolutely rocked by UKIP:

Ukip are set to win their first Commons seat with a landslide 64 per cent of the vote following the biggest swing in modern political history. Turncoat MP Douglas Carswell is set to humiliate David Cameron at the Clacton by-election sparked by his defection, a  Survation poll for The Mail on Sunday has revealed. The figures – the first test of public opinion since the politician rocked Westminster by defecting to Nigel Farage’s party – predict a record 48 point swing towards Ukip.

And they put the anti-Brussels party a staggering 44 percentage points ahead of Mr Carswell’s former party in the  Essex constituency. If the results are repeated in the by-election, expected in October, the swing would exceed the current record 44 points achieved by Lib Dem MP Simon Hughes when he thrashed Labour’s Peter Tatchell, the gay rights campaigner, in a by-election in Bermondsey, South London, in 1983. The biggest anti-Tory swing to date is the 35 points achieved by the Lib Dems in the Christchurch by-election in 1993.

This is astonishing, considering that only one year ago, the British media was still trying to ignore UKIP, pretending that the Liberal Democrats were the third party alternative to the Labour and Tory parties. And it clearly doesn’t matter one iota what Cameron and the other traitorous Tories babble about concerning the Tory party being “Britain’s only chance for a referendum” or whatever, because no one has believed a single word that has come out of any Tory leader’s mouth since they denied the people a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty.

The one catch is that Douglas Carswell may – may – represent the first serious attempt to coopt the growing spirit of English nationalism. He’s genuinely anti-EU, but appears to be rather soft on immigration. Regardless, getting out of the EU is the absolutely vital first step to the restoration of national sovereignty, so English nationalists would do well to support him even if he is otherwise unreliable.

And the sooner the ridiculous David Cameron and his absurd Coalition is exiled to the dustbin of political history, the better. If Scotland defies both expectations and the global elite to vote for independence, so much the better.

It never really was

A Jewish woman explains why she is leaving Sweden:

I just can’t live like this any longer. I can’t accept that life consists of long periods of fear and despair, interrupted by the short bursts of happiness I get when I come back to Israel. I can’t raise my kids to hide who they are, I can’t usher them into a society that teaches them they are the other and that being less of who they are is the key to survival.

I just can’t, not anymore.

I got back to Sweden yesterday and something has changed, the shift is so tangible. Within me, yes, but also in the world around me. I take down my Israeli flag that I so proudly hung from my balcony. I’m told it is no longer safe, and I have to make a choice between being open and keeping my children safe. The Palestinian flag hanging from my neighbor’s window is still visible across the courtyard. I notice the injustice, but the outrage is replaced with sadness and fatigue.

I called this my home for 33 years. Yet, I realize now that it isn’t, and it never really was.

She’s absolutely correct. Sweden wasn’t her home. It isn’t her home. If it was, she would have been flying a Swedish flag from her balcony, not an Israeli one. Just as Israel belongs to the Jews, Sweden belongs to the Swedes. And Sweden’s younger generation is not at all shy about proclaiming it.

I expect her Palestinian neighbor is also going to discover that Sweden isn’t his home in the near future.

Europe belongs to us

Statements don’t get much more powerful than that. This generation appears to already know it is going to have to fight the corrupt power of the anti-democratic EU, but they have a powerful message that is going to resonate across Europe, and hopefully, across the Atlantic as well.

It’s fascinating to see how strongly people react to the video. Does it fill you with pride and hope, or does it fill you with anger and fear? Your instinctive reaction, not your subsequent intellectual rationalizations, will tell you whether you are on the side of Western civilization or against it.

The awakening of the European nations is a prelude to the great battle of the 21st century, which will be the struggle for America.

Next year in Jerusalem

It’s interesting to observe how this Jew living in England is so terrified to be living amongst the Gentiles, and yet she refuses to go to Zion:

The truth is that up and down this island, Jews are arguing, debating, crying and worrying about what’s going on in an even smaller country across the ocean. Some British Jews are fasting for peace; some are angry at one or both sides; but many are just scared – scared not just about events in Gaza, but events in Europe. These include reports about gangs of Muslims chanting “death to Jews” on the streets of France, and attacking synagogues and setting fire to Jewish-owned stores. Eighteen people were subsequently arrested in the suburb of Sarcelles, just outside Paris, where this particular outpouring of violence happened. The stunned local mayor says the Jewish community is now living in fear.

Anti-Semitism is on the rise in Germany, too. In Essen, 14 people have just been arrested, accused of plotting an attack on a synagogue. Protesters at a rally in Berlin turned on two Israeli tourists (identifiable by the man’s skull-cap) so viciously that they had to be protected by the police. The city’s authorities have also had to ban pro-Gaza protesters from chanting anti-Semitic slogans and are investigating a sermon last week by Abu Bilal Ismail calling on worshippers at Berlin’s Al-Nur mosque to murder Jews. Jews, not Israelis.

The situation is so bad that the foreign ministers of Germany, France and Italy have issued a joint statement condemning the rise in anti-Semitic protests and violence in response to the Gaza conflict – and saying they will do everything possible to combat it. “Anti-Semitic rhetoric and hostility against Jews, attacks on people of Jewish belief and synagogues have no place in our societies,” they felt compelled publicly to state.

Yet since the start of the latest conflict between Hamas and Israel, protesters marching in anti-Israel demonstrations have regularly held up anti-Semitic slogans, shouting for Jews to be gassed, invoking the Holocaust’s chambers of doom. The situation in Britain hasn’t been much better. Last week’s major pro-Palestine rally, which stopped London’s traffic, was littered with placards comparing Israel’s – and Jews’ – actions to the Nazis (“Well done Israel – Hitler would be proud”, read one such sign, accompanied by a swastika). This casual interchange of “Israel” for “Jews” is not just ignorant but often terrifying, especially when linked to references to past atrocities. Indeed, what other group of people get the worst experience in their – or anyone’s – history launched at them like a hand grenade?

So stop living in fear. England is not the Jewish homeland. It is the English homeland. France is not the Jewish homeland. It is the French homeland. Germany is not the Jewish homeland. It is the German homeland. Israel is the Jewish homeland and it is where the Jewish people belong. The Jewish people have a right to their homeland… and so does everyone else. Dispute the latter and lose your claim on the former.

I staunchly support Israel, both in terms of its existence and its right to wipe out Hamas and colonize Gaza under the legitimate casus belli of having been repeatedly attacked by rockets after generously permitting a thrice-conquered people the opportunity to be left in peace in their reservations. And I have zero sympathy for Jews living in Europe who are afraid of the hatred of Europeans and other immigrants to Europe; everyone has an absolute right to hate whomever they please. Die Gedanken sind frei.

There are no shortage of people who hate me, and yet if I tearfully insisted that laws should be passed banning anti-Vox rhetoric by science fiction writers, and pointed to the thousands of tweets and blog posts aimed at me over the years, people would rightly consider me to be mad. The futile Jewish insistence on trying to outlaw anti-Semitic rhetoric is every bit as insane.

People have a free speech right to anti-Semitic rhetoric, they have a right to be hostile if that is how they feel, and if any Jew seriously wants to try to play thought and speech police in someone else’s country, then he fully merits all the hatred his people have subsequently engendered. When you are a guest in someone else’s home, you don’t make the rules. Either you abide by their rules – such as the ban on circumcision in some European countries, for example – or you leave. You don’t cry Holocaust and then claim that the homeowner doesn’t have the right to make his own rules in his own house.

It’s rather funny to see a Jew complaining about having the worst experience in Jewish history (and their history alone, not everyone’s history, as the Amalekites and the Canaanites, both wiped out by the Israelites, would point out if they were still around to do so) thrown in her face when Jews have been crying Holocaust as long as I can remember. As any child being teased knows, expose a vulnerability to your enemies and that’s precisely the point they will pick at. And the interchange of “Jew” for “Israeli” is hardly ignorant: why are British Jews “arguing, debating, crying and worrying about what’s going on in an even smaller country across the ocean”? The British Scots aren’t. The British Swiss aren’t. The British Russians aren’t. The British Nigerians aren’t. Whatever could the mysterious reason to explain this difference be?

The IDF doesn’t cry Holocaust. It has moved on and become the proud and militarily effective defenders of the Jewish homeland. The remaining Jews of Europe should move on too, because the politicians proclaiming that there is “no place in their societies” for anti-Semitism are soon going to find out that there is “no elected office in their societies” for them. And I don’t know how much longer it is going to be better in the USA; I don’t blame American Jews for the actions of Emanuel Cellar and Arthur Sulzberger and Paul Samuelson and Alan Greenspan and Ben Bernanke and Jane Yellen and Eric Cantor that have decimated American demographics and the American economy alike. But historically, an angry public has tended to prove unable to make such fine distinctions between the culpable and the innocent.

More and more Americans are becoming aware of the destruction of their national demographics, and when they learn that this destruction was the direct and intentional result of a small group of immigrants who openly sought to weaken the American people’s sense of being a European nation, they are not going to be happy about it. If you read the history of how the Holocaust came to be, it is not at all difficult to understand why the German people so loathed the Jews. That doesn’t justify the Endlosung, but it’s impossible for any sufficiently intelligent and informed individual to fail to recognize that a very similar pattern has developed over the last sixty years in the USA.

History is a harsh and unforgiving bitch and one ignores her lessons at one’s peril. The economy is not going to improve. The demographic time-bomb is not going to self-defuse. Gen X and the Millennials are impervious, at best, to crying Holocaust. There are now more Muslims than Jews in Europe and the USA. Nationalism is growing rapidly in reaction to the abuses and injustices of globalization and transnationalism. The debt limits are being stretched perilously thin everywhere from the USA to China.

I strongly suspect Israel’s chief strategists already know what Israel will eventually be forced to do with regards to Gaza, the West Bank, and the remaining Jews of Europe. They really don’t want to bite the bullet, understandably enough, considering the gargantuan hailstorm of outrage it will provoke. The current invasion of Gaza is nothing more than a delaying measure. And yet, the sooner they address the Gordian Knot, the sooner they will be in a position to deal with the potentially bigger US problem.

There are several Jews who are regular readers here who have moved to Israel, and others who have not. It might be informative to get their perspective on events in Gaza and Europe as well as their reasons for moving or not moving.

Ridley was right too

The events of recent years have seen the post-mortem reputation of Enoch Powell rise considerably. One tends to expect that Nicholas Ridley’s reputation will rise over time in the eyes of the English people as well:

In the first week of July 1990, I had gone to his Oxfordshire home to conduct an interview for The Spectator, which I then edited. At some point I asked him, in quite a desultory fashion, about the drive towards European Monetary Union.

It was a light-the-blue-touch-paper moment — emphasised by the way the chain-smoking Ridley dragged hard on his cigarette between making his explosive points: ‘This is all a German racket designed to take over the whole of Europe.

‘It has to be thwarted. This rushed takeover by the Germans on the worst possible basis, with the French behaving like poodles to the Germans, is absolutely intolerable . . . I’m not against giving up sovereignty in principle, but not to this lot. You might just as well give it up to Adolf Hitler, frankly.’

Startled, I interjected that the then German Chancellor, Helmut Kohl, was surely preferable to Hitler — he wouldn’t be dropping bombs on us, after all.

If anything, this made Ridley even more vehement: ‘I’m not sure I wouldn’t rather have the shelters and the chance to fight back, than simply being taken over by economics. He’ll soon be coming here and trying to say that this is what we should do on the banking side and this is what our taxes should be. I mean, he’ll soon be trying to take over everything . . . You don’t understand the British people if you don’t understand this point about them. They can be dared. They can be moved. But being bossed by a German — it would cause absolute mayhem in this country, and rightly, I think.’

In the uproar that ensued following the publication of the interview, Margaret Thatcher immediately demanded Ridley’s resignation. Three months later, she gave the go-ahead for the pound to join the European Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM), then seen as the precursor to membership of full European Monetary Union.

That made me feel less bad about Ridley losing his job over my interview with him, since I imagine he would have detested the idea of being part of a government that had joined the ERM. And when German refusal to countenance sterling devaluation within the ERM led to Britain’s humiliating exit on September 16, 1992 (Black Wednesday), he would probably have felt vindicated.

Ridley was correct about the general direction and nature of the EU, even if he was not necessarily correct on every detail. That being said, I do not understand why Ridley, or any national leader, would not vehemently oppose giving up sovereignty on principle. Everything else springs from single key aspect.

The conquest and integration of the various peoples of Europe into an empire governed by a central imperial government has long been a dream of tyrants. But the EU is learning, as Charlemagne’s heirs, Napoleon, and Hitler learned before them, that while the conquest is not terribly difficult, the integration is impossible.

To date, the EU has been more Napoleon than Hitler; it has established its own version of the Continental System. And, like the Continental System, it is doomed by virtue of its structural opposition to the laws of economics.

Europe’s quislings

The chief architect of the coming ethnic cleansing in Britain, Tony Blair, archly refuses to pay heed to the clearly expressed voice of the British people concerning the ongoing invasion of their island:

Tony Blair this morning launched a furious assault on Ukip in the wake of the party’s European election triumph – describing it as ‘nasty and unpleasant’. The former Prime Minister urged the Labour leader Ed Miliband to ‘stand up’ and take on Nigel Farage. He said Mr Miliband had to ‘stand firm’ in the face of growing demands to promise an in-out referendum on Europe and ignore pleas from within his party to take a tougher stance on immigration…

In his comments, made to a Swedish television station, Mr Blair said: ‘Of course we should be worried when a party like Ukip comes first in the European election, it would be foolish not to be. But on the other hand we also have to stand for what is correct and right for the future of Britain in the 21st century. When the world is changing so fast, to end up having the debate dominated by anti-immigrant feeling and a desire to get Britain out of Europe, these are not solutions for the 21st century.’

Another globalist whore, Tory Ken Clarke, said: “Every western country is multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and everybody gets used to listening to foreign languages on the bus. Young people aren’t bothered by that.'”

When the mass inter-ethnic violence begins, just remember these quislings publicly claiming that “no one is bothered” by hearing alien invaders speaking foreign languages in their hometowns. Blair could not be more wrong. What is right for the future of Britain is that it be inhabited and governed by the sovereign British people.

The fact that every Western country has been invaded by third-worlders in the last forty years doesn’t mean that they always will be occupied by them. Spain was once occupied by Muslims and France was once occupied by Germans. Europeans have a long and noble history of expelling their invaders, even if it takes 500 years.

The Return of Nations

The end of the Imperial Europe project is in sight as minor anti-EU parties grow into major parties, in some cases, the nation’s most popular party. It won’t happen overnight, but it will happen. And it looks as if there is a very good chance that Britain will be the first nation to leave the EU’s evil and anti-democratic empire:

Nigel Farage tonight hailed Ukip’s victory in the European elections as the most ‘extraordinary result in British politics for 100 years’. Support for Ukip has surged by more than 12 per cent, outstripping a more modest boost in votes for Labour, while the Lib Dems faced near-wipeout, with some calling for Nick Clegg to resign.

Mr Farage said he was ‘proud’ of the campaign which has seen him humiliate the Westminster parties, pushing Labour and the Tories into second and third.

As Ukip was triumphing in the UK, across the Channel France’s far-right National Front was on course for a massive victory in European elections tonight as the country swung behind its anti-immigration, anti-EU agenda.

Early estimates suggested the number of Eurosceptic MEPs in Brussels could double. In Denmark, the anti-immigration far-right People’s Party is on course to win with 23 per cent while in Hungary, the extreme-right Jobbik – accused of racism and anti-Semitism – was running second

Elsewhere, in Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel’s Christian Democrats were expected to secure victory with 36 per cent of the vote. In Greece, the poll was topped by the radical left anti-austerity Syriza movement, beating the governing New Democracy into second place.

In the UK, immigration dominated much of the campaign, with UKIP arguing proper border controls were not possible while in the EU.

Everywhere but Germany, which runs the EU to its liking, the political tide is flowing strongly against the EU. And the tide is only going to grow stronger, because the commissars of the EU have never listened to the people, which means eventually some sort of crisis is coming when the EU will be forced to choose between following its own rules or showing its true totalitarian face.

And the corrupt political leaders don’t have the power to impose their will on the people. Which is why the entire project has been built on lies, smoke, and mirrors.

So much for inevitability

Some of the EU’s greatest champions are openly discussing paring it down in order to try saving it. Former French President Sarkozy calls for the suspension of Schengen:

With the far-Right Front National polled to pip Mr Sarkozy’s crisis-wracked UMP to the post in Sunday’s EU elections in France, the ex-president said: “Schengen I must be immediately suspended and be replaced by a Schengen II of which member countries can only be a part if they previously agree to the same immigration policy.”

Europe migration policy has failed and the need to replace Schengen I has become obvious, he added, as the current system allows immigrants who enter it to “choose the (European) country with the most generous welfare system. Europe is not meant to organise social and migratory dumping, almost systematically at the expense of France,” he warned.

Without mentioning by name his Socialist French presidential successor, François Hollande, Mr Sarkozy nevertheless decried an “absence of leadership (that) is placing Europe in danger, as it is without vision, direction or priorities”.

He also called for half of the competences of Brussels to be returned to national governments. The European Commission, meanwhile, should be stripped of all legislative powers – the sole preserve of the EU parliament.

However, he warned against the rise of populist anti-EU sentiment, saying the bloc protects its citizens from the “ideological veering off course of governments and majority parties.

“If the European Union broke up centuries-old hatred and conflicts of interest would resurface more violently.”

“We must correct its excesses but as a project it must be preserved.”

At this point, even its leaders understand that the EU is a complete failure. If it is conserved at all, it will be as some sort of Franco-German free market. But the Euro is a disaster and the grand scheme of the United States of Europe is already dead.

And with UKIP doing much better than expected with the local councils – it’s already confirmed to have taken 89 council seats, 9 better than the 80 projected, and could end up with as many as 230 – it shouldn’t be too many years before Great Britain is out of the monstrosity, with or without Scotland.

“Trust me” said the liar

No wonder nothing the Tories and Labour have said ends up harming UKIP’s electoral appeal. All of the accusations are coming out of the mouths of confirmed liars:

David Cameron has appealed to “frustrated” voters not to back Ukip on Thursday, promising to salvage Britain’s relationship with the European Union just as he said he has overhauled the UK economy.

As Britain votes in European elections, the Prime Minister made a last-ditch attempt to stop voters deserting his Conservatives for Nigel Farage and the UK Independence Party.

The Conservatives face finishing third in the European elections when results are declared late on Sunday. Mr Farage said on Wednesday that his party would win the poll to elect MEPs.

The narrative, coming from the same people who said UKIP would never amount to anything, will be that this is merely a “tantrum”, an electoral ephemera that will disappear by the time the real elections roll around. I suspect the truth is precisely the opposite; I have long felt that UKIP is the coming force in UK politics and even told a friend who was recruited as a UKIP candidate last year as much.

Sadly, he didn’t heed my advice and accept the recruitment offer, otherwise he would be one of UKIP’s Members of the European Parliament later today. I very much wish he had.

Here is to hoping that UKIP finishes a strong first in the European elections today and is able to translate that electoral momentum into the next Parliamentary elections. Because the single biggest priority in Europe is the extrication of the English people from the third coming of the Franco-German Empire.

If you live in the UK, vote UKIP today. I know the European elections are nonsense, but that’s not the point. UKIP is the way out. Take it while you can.

Subway goes Muslim

You may wish to reconsider your fast food options in light of this decision by the Subway chain in the UK and Ireland to submit to Sharia:

Around 200 branches of Subway have cut ham and bacon from their menus, serving halal meat in response to calls from their Muslim customers. The sandwich chain said ‘following a strong demand from our Muslim customers’, 185 stores in the UK and Ireland have introduced the meat, which is prepared under strict Islamic rules.

I don’t know about you, but no restaurant or restaurant chain that bans ham and bacon is one that I am willing to support with my business. The clash of civilizations proceeds apace, and it is becoming every more apparent that the secular West is not the strong horse.
