Rush took the ticket

In light of this reported estate plan, there really aren’t too many questions about Rush Limbaugh having served as a gatekeeper for the Right once he reached the top:

A decade ago, the late Rush Limbaugh scoffed at the notion of leaving any of his money behind. We know this because he was reacting to us. Our coverage of Steve Jobs’ no-tax estate plan made a lot of waves. Rush felt the need to insert himself into the narrative by sharing his thoughts about legacy.

They were terse and tough. He didn’t want to leave anything behind. If he spent everything and died broke, he’d be happy, he said.

Now, a year after announcing he had terminal cancer, he’s gone. And as far as anyone can tell, he left a whole lot of money behind.

Some estimates put his net worth above $600 million. That’s probably just career earnings and not a real net figure, but it provides a sense of the amount of cash flowing into his operation over the years.

He was the biggest name in radio. It takes a vast amount of work to burn as much as $85 million a year and have absolutely nothing to show for it. We know that his “Southern Command” in Palm Beach alone can be worth up $50 million to his estate under the right conditions.

It’s unlikely that his widow will keep it around forever. She was decades younger than he was and has a lot of living left to do.

Either way, unless Rush made a whole lot more effort to look out for his posterity than anyone but the tabloids suggests, she’s the boss now.

There were no kids. She inherits it all.

Unlike most ticket-takers, however, I don’t think his initial success was the result of his ticket-taking. His success was unexpected, original, and almost certainly organic. It looks more as if his wife was the prize, and while his talent was returned to God, his massive accumulation of assets went to the Devil.

I always wondered how Rush could go so far and absolutely no farther no matter what information came to light, given his obvious intelligence and analytical skills. And I assumed that it had something to do with his desire to maintain his position in the media; his humiliation during the NFL debacle clearly clarified his thinking with regards to the difference between influence and power. But it appears he may have been even more compromised than I had assumed.

It is intriguing to observe that the more successful you are, the more fearful you appear to become if you do not fear God only. If your soul has a price, whatever it might be, sooner or later the Devil will find a way to make you an offer.

Conservatives are insane

If, as we are told, doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results is a reasonable definition of insanity, then conservatives are most definitely insane, judging by their absolute refusal to abandon SJW social media.

Facebook has deleted the official account of actor Kevin Sorbo, marking the latest Big Tech takedown of a conservative. Sorbo, an avowed Donald Trump supporter, has been openly critical of Covid-19 restrictions.

Sorbo, who starred in 1990s television series ‘Hercules: The Legendary Journeys’, said on Twitter Friday that Facebook shut down his account, which had more than 500,000 followers. It was not immediately clear why the tech giant took such drastic action against Sorbo, who has courted controversy for doubting the effectiveness of masks amid the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as for his unwavering support of ex-president Donald Trump after the Capitol riot.

Sorbo himself gave no explanation for the shutdown and provided a link to a new Facebook page.

The official conservative social media strategy:

  1. Get deplatformed.
  2. Cry about deplatforming.
  3. Create a new account on the same platform that just deplatformed them.
  4. Profit?

Why is ANY conservative still on Twitter?

Cuck as hard as you like, submit as slavishly as you can, sooner or later, the Sostapo are still going to come for you.

The founder and editor of the right-wing Gateway Pundit website has been permanently banned from Twitter, leaving the liberal left “thrilled” and conservatives wondering who will be silenced next.

The @gatewaypundit Twitter handle belonging to Jim Hoft with more than 375,000 followers was abruptly banned on Saturday night. “The account was permanently suspended for repeated violations of our civic integrity policy,” a Twitter spokesperson confirmed in a brief statement.

Twitter did not clarify which violation was the last straw, as the account seemed to be not very active recently. The conservative publication itself has long faced criticism from the left for pushing “lies” and “conspiracies.”

Twitter’s recently updated civic integrity policy introduces a system of strikes and increasingly severe punishments, among other things, for pushing “disputed claims that could undermine faith in the process itself, such as unverified information about election rigging, ballot tampering, vote tallying, or certification of election results.”

“Oh s**t they got my boss,” journalist and Pundit contributor Cassandra Fairbanks tweeted. In response to ‘you’re next!’ threats, she quipped that from now on she will be careful not to wrongthink and will only tweet the opposite of what she believes.

This is not exactly new. Instapundit was first suspended back in 2016. It’s remarkable, and more than a little bit contemptible, to see how desperate conservatives are to maintain even the barest modicum of tolerance from the people who make it very clear how much they hate them.

Why are there still 375,000 self-professed conservatives on Twitter in the first place? The best and most useful thing conservatives can do is to turn their back on all left-wing social media and entertainment. And yet, most of them simply refuse to do so, presumably for fear that someone, somewhere, might call them racist or anti-semitic.

Torba saw it too

The Mercers tried to kill Gab early too:

Now that John Matze has been ousted by the Mercers, perhaps it’s time to speak a little more freely about Parler.

Was Parler a GOP establishment attempt to subvert the work Gab has been doing for 5+ years and data mine conservatives? Good question!

When Gab first launched let’s just say we were approached by some “hedge fund people” on the right who wanted to invest on one condition: stop talking about certain topics and people, change the branding, and give up control.

Obviously we didn’t take the deal with the devil.

What happened to John Matze is partially why.

The CEO and Founder ousted from his own company. Should never happen, especially not in an early stage startup.

Castalia got one of those super early offers in its second year of existence. Not only were we not at all interested, we couldn’t understand what their interest could possibly be. It makes considerably more sense now. There might be an amusing business there, selling “dangerous” startups to conservative gatekeepers.

Never forget that the love of money is the root of all evil.

Never take their money

The Mercers force out the founder of Parler:

Parler CEO John Matze has been terminated from the company after a decision by its board, the now-former chief executive said, noting that he played no part in the move, which comes after the site was booted from Amazon’s servers.

“On January 29, 2021, the Parler board controlled by Rebekah Mercer decided to immediately terminate my position as CEO of Parler. I did not participate in this decision,” Matze wrote in a memo to employees obtained by Fox News on Wednesday.

They did something similar to Milo. They “invest” in projects, but in a manner that retains the ability to pull their money out at any time. Which, of course, gives them the ability to disrupt, if not kill outright, any project in which they’ve nominally invested.

Not that I’m any fan of Matze or Parler, but it’s interesting to see how even the cucks are having the rug pulled out from under them now. This is why organic growth is the only viable strategy. None of the money creatures, whatever their claimed politics happen to be, can be trusted one iota.

She’s gone, Jim

Fake Right site Parler is dead, having accomplished its objective of doxxing tens of thousands of clueless conservatives who didn’t hesitate to go from the frying pan of Twitter right into the dumpster fire.

Social media site Parler may never come back online after Amazon dropped the conservative-friendly platform from its servers, its CEO said, as the company insists in court that its termination was motivated by “political animus.”

Parler CEO John Matze told Reuters on Wednesday that the website’s future is in limbo after a cascade of online vendors rushed to distance themselves from the platform in the wake of an eruption of violence at the US Capitol last week, saying he doesn’t know if it will ever bounce back.

“It could be never. We don’t know yet,” he said. “It’s hard to keep track of how many people are telling us that we can no longer do business with them.”

Build. Your. Own. Platforms. Get off the enemy’s turf. Support the genuine alternatives. Anything else is completely pointless.

The silence of the cucks

They took the enemy’s silver. Now they have been given their marching orders. Shed no tears for them. And note, for future reference, that the Littlest Chickenhawk has not contested the fraud in any way, shape, or form.

A media company that employs right wing talk-radio hosts, including Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro, and Dan Bongino, circulated a memo after the pro-Trump riots on Capitol Hill telling hosts to dial down allegations of election fraud, or else face termination.

Cumulus Media sent the internal memo to employees on Wednesday, according to Inside Music Media. The Atlanta-based company owns 416 radio stations throughout the country, many using a talk-radio format with local and national right-wing personalities. (Shapiro has not contested the results of the general election.)

“We need to help induce national calm NOW,” Cumulus’s executive vice president of content Brian Philips wrote in the memo. The company “will not tolerate any suggestion that the election has not ended. The election has been resolved and there are no alternate acceptable ‘paths.’”

Philips added, “If you transgress this policy, you can expect to separate from the company immediately.”

They will not tolerate you

Alexander Macris explains why you will not be spared the repressive tolerance, no matter how beautifully you cuck or how slavishly you denounce everyone to your right:

If you’re reading this, you’re probably right-of-center. But perhaps you feel safe from repressive tolerance because your view are so, well, gosh-darn tolerable. You obviously don’t advocate right-wing violence. You’re not a racist or misogynist or homophobe or bigot. You just want America to have a healthy free market, a strong military, fair trade, low taxes, equality of opportunity, and protection of every citizen’s constitutional rights. You’re just a mainstream, moderate, right-of-center conservative!

Do not fool yourself into believing that because you are a moderate, you are safe from the doctrine of repressive tolerance. Herbert Marcuse explains that the plan is:

withdrawal of tolerance from regressive movements before they can become active; intolerance even toward thought, opinion, and word, and finally, intolerance… toward the self-styled conservatives [Tactics] would include the withdrawal of toleration of speech and assembly from groups and movements which promote aggressive policies, armament, chauvinism, discrimination on the grounds of race and religion, or which oppose the extension of public services, social security, medical care, etc.

Anyone who opposes any extension of public service, social security, or medical care, or who supports freedom of religion, is to be completely and utterly deplatformed. No freedom of speech, no freedom of assembly, no communication in word, print, or image.

This is the plan; this has always been the plan; all that has been lacking were the means to effectuate the plan. Those means are now at hand. If the President of the United States can be silenced, anyone can be.

And what happens if conservatives resist having their voices suppressed and repressed? Well that’s a problem that requires a solution. And as Herbert Marcuse explains:

[The solution] may require apparently undemocratic means…

I will leave it to the reader to ponder what sort of “undemocratic means” might be justified to solve the problem of conservative thought, opinion, word, action, or being.

This is why they begged for freedom of speech in the first place. To put themselves in a position where they could deny it to everyone else. They demanded the toleration of evil so that they could eventually refuse to tolerate good. The Sin of Jeroboam leads invariably to the destruction of the nation that is foolish enough to commit it.

Give the girl her props

Apparently Sarah Hoyt is the only non-cuck at Instapundit.

  • When Democratic Party leaders find excuses for left-wing violent protesters and condemn right-wing protesters, one can understand their motives. They see left-wing protesters as being “on their side” and the right-wing protesters as “the enemy.” When Republican Party leaders find excuses for left-wing violent protesters and condemn right-wing protesters, it’s hard not to draw the conclusion that they, too, see the left-wing as “on their side” and the right-wing as “the enemy.”
  • For years I’ve told the left that when they used fraud to win, they’d broken the feedback mechanism.  It didn’t mean their ideas were winning, that people agreed with them, or that they were safe. It was the equivalent of breaking the fire alarm and thinking they were safe from fires. What I never expected was to hear the right condemn the people trying to break out of the burning building, because they don’t hear any fire alarms.
  • The same government that scrutinizes all our actions on a daily basis and presumes we’re guilty until proven innocent, when questioned by the people about the obvious flaws and issues of the elections refused any examination and told us that everything was fine, or if not, we had no standing. We should just trust their word over our lying eyes. Next thing you know, they’ll tell us to eat cake.
  • And for the record, no, I will not condemn the protesters. Should they have gone into the Capitol? I don’t know. Why shouldn’t they have? It’s not like they went and hanged the corruptocrats using their own intestines as ropes. They might — or might not. Really, do you trust the reporting? In this time, in this place? — have broken windows. And then walked, carefully between the ropes? Sure, why not. Let’s roll with that narrative.  They might have made a mess of Nancy Ice Cream Pelosi’s office. Maybe. Again…. reporting? You know what they didn’t do? They didn’t kill anyone. That was reserved for someone who shot through a door sidelight at a protester.  You know what else they didn’t do? Use live ammo.  You know what else they didn’t do? Trample the flag, which the capitol police did, while being begged not to. You know what else they didn’t do? shine lasers in cops eyes, set fire to the building, loot it, or shoot fireworks at people. Spare me your pearl clutching. How do you propose we get our republic back if demonstrations are “rude?” When they committed blatant fraud in two elections, right before our eyes, and thereby abolished the representative part of the republic, and with it the constitutional part, what are you going to do? Write them strongly worded letters? Or wait till they fraud 2022 just as blatantly, while you stand around being utterly stunned? It’s time to ditch the Marquis de Queensberry rules.  It’s time to stop fighting with our feet in a bucket. Yes, what happened today was very very bad. Yes, it means that what comes next will probably come with a butcher’s bill.
  • You know, I do wonder why the Sons of Liberty bothered to attack the British. And why the founding fathers had an army.  I mean, couldn’t they have asked the tyrant, politely, to just remove the foot from their neck and give them representation. Oh, wait, they tried that, just like we tried the courts. Curiously, it didn’t work. It’s almost like those in power don’t care what you say, if you can’t do anything to remove their power.
Meanwhile, Glenn Reynolds and Ed Driscoll are falling all over themselves to denounce the “violence” and condemn the “marauders”.
  • ENDORSED: Trump Needs to Forcefully Condemn the Rioters, Not Coddle Them. – Ed Driscoll
  • YES. “Rep. Dan Crenshaw, who lost an eye fighting our enemies in Afghanistan, had a message for the marauders on Capitol Hill: “The people in this Capitol are not your enemy… this is not okay,” he said. “This should be condemned. I’m saddened and disappointed by what I’ve seen.” – Glenn Reynolds

Fuck you, Ed Driscoll. Fuck you too, Glenn Reynolds. You’re not on our side. You’re not on President Trump’s side. You’re not on the side of truth and justice. And you’re not on America’s side. Fuck ALL the cucks and cons and all their damned bow ties too, as they denounce imaginary violence in a city named for a man who led an army against his own government.

The same goes for every single conservative and Republican who denounces the Heroes of Capitol Hill and cries crocodile tears about the American people resisting their betrayal by their so-called representatives. Forget them, ignore them, despise them, and don’t EVER give them so much as the time of day again. Don’t ever forget their betrayal of the American people and don’t ever let them forget it. I certainly won’t.

Also, note that every would-be commenter who claims that President Trump “conceded” or gave up will be spammed. He obviously didn’t, so learn to freaking read. As Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on November 11, “There will be a smooth transition to a second Trump administration.”

Pence cucks… and runs

Just in: Vice President Pence says in new statement that he cannot unilaterally subvert the election and grant Trump a second term: “No Vice President in American history has ever asserted such authority.”

I think we can safely assume that while Trump’s second term is still in question, Mike Pence will not serve a second term as Vice-President.

The lesson, as always, is this: never trust a conservative. They are practitioners of the art of surrender.

The ball is now squarely in President Trump’s court. Is he a man or is he just another big-talking mouse? History, and the fate of the USA, await his decision.

UPDATE: Pence accomplished nothing but to show his true Deep State colors. The House isn’t voting on anything today.

Trump supporters STORM the Capitol in DC as Vice President Pence runs for safety after refusing to block Biden’s confirmation – amid violent clashes after President’s rally condemning his own party. An army of Donald Trump’s supporters stormed Congress Wednesday after he told them to march on the Capitol – with Mike Pence, Nancy Pelosi and lawmakers rushed to safety as thousands threatened to break through police barricades. Members of congress ran from the floor as police ordered them to evacuate to their offices for their own safety after a mob smashed through police barricades. The storming brought the certification of Joe Biden’s victory to a halt – after Pence said he would defy Trump and refuse to overturn the election single-handed.

Do you hear the people sing?

UPDATE: The Defense Department has just denied a request by DC officials to deploy the National Guard to the US Capitol.

Sounds like an insurrection to me. The President clearly has no choice but to invoke the Insurrection Act.

CNN headline: INSURRECTION IN WASHINGTON FOLLOWING TRUMP ENCOURAGEMENT

The President clearly has no choice but to invoke the Insurrection Act.

UPDATE: President Trump’s silence so far suggests a major announcement is coming tonight. And I have to admit, this is already the greatest thing I have seen or heard since the Miracle on Ice in 1980.

UPDATE: Listening to Anderson Cooper’s voice shake as he tries to explain why it was right for blacks and gays to protest but wrong for the DC protestors to take over the Capital building is hysterical. You can hear the fear in the voices of the CNN commentators. They are TERRIFIED that Trump is crossing the Rubicon.

UPDATE: Just a thought. We’re told that Pence, Pelosi, and the Congress critters have been removed to a secure location. But we haven’t been told that they’ve been released….

UPDATE: At President @realDonaldTrump’s direction, the National Guard is on the way along with other federal protective services. – Kayleigh McEnany, Press Secretary
