Episode 7 in Chuck Dixon’s Avalon, HERO OF AVALON, is now live on Webtoons. If you haven’t subscribed to it yet, please do so and help The Legend hit the 1,000-subscriber benchmark there.

Also, apologies to the Replatformers for the delay in getting this month’s book links out to you. They should be going out to you today, and an additional week in June has been added to the download deadline.

Quantum Mortis fans will be pleased to know that Arkhaven Comics will be publishing weekly episodes on Webtoons. They will also note that we have touched up the illustrations and recolored the entire first issue. Episode 1, Military Assistance, is already live. If you’re an Arkhaven backer, please don’t hesitate to subscribe.

And Arkhaven now has your weekdays covered, with webtoons running every Monday through Friday. We’ll be adding more soon, as Chicago Typewriter, Go, Monster, Go!, and Knights in Shadow are all in production now. With the traditional comics industry reeling, this is what William S. Lind would describe as the obvious schwerpunkt.

Right Ho, Jeeves Episode #6, Hearts That Yearn, is now live on Webtoons.

We expect to launch both Chicago Typewriter and Quantum Mortis: A Man Disrupted there next week.

Bounding Into Comics talks to Chuck Dixon about his latest project:

Prolific comic book writer and the creator of Batman villain Bane Chuck Dixon has launched a Patreon to produce creator-owned under Arkhaven Comics.

Dixon tells Bounding Into Comics the Patreon is a “commitment to produce a lot of creator-owned material for Arkhaven.”

He adds, “In effect, Vox is unleashing me on a line of comics for print, digital, and on Webtoons.”

One of those projects is a new series being created for Webtoons called Go, Monster, Go! with Tim Lattie.

Dixon tells us, “Go, Monster, Go! is a retro 60’s story mixing monsters, aliens and other wild happenings with early 60’s California car culture. If Roger Corman made an Archie movie it might have been like this.”

This is only one of the new Arkhaven projects that will be making their debuts in the next two months.

It being Friday, it is time for the latest episode of Alt★Hero Crackdown, Episode 5: Fear Inspires, in which our intrepid band of European superheroes round up those terrible nationalists in Berlin. After cracking the top 10 in the Superhero category, Alt★Hero is the first Arkhaven comic to begin taking off on the new platform, although Hypergamouse is showing signs of being on the verge of breaking out too after only two episodes.

Thanks to the Arkhaven subscribers – for whom we’ll have some monthly announcements early next week – we’re going to be adding not one, but TWO new Webtoons to the existing four, one created by The Legend Chuck Dixon and the other by yours truly. We also hope to get Quantum Mortis rolling this month.

By the way, this looks likely to be the schwerpunkt of the next media assault on us, based on the media inquiries I’ve been receiving. And yes, of course we are fully prepared for it: see Section 17. While there is no need for Replatfomers to get on board yet, it would be wise for everyone to do so if and when the media offensive begins.

Congratulations on 1,000 Subscribers, Arkhaven Comics!

The second episode of Lacey Fairchild’s Hypergamouse, A Piece of Cheese, is now live on Webtoons.

A preview of one of Arkhaven’s forthcoming comics. Thanks to the Arkhaven subscribers, this will be on Webtoons later this summer. You can perhaps think of it as Blade meets the Militi Sancti Sepulcri meets Adam Smith.

No Discussion. A little late getting this up, but it’s still Wednesday there, right?

Or rather, reintroducing it. This little comic strip about Game features the delightful art of [insert pen name that ISN’T shared with a porn star here Lacey Fairchild] and will run every Tuesday. Readers of the old Alpha Game blog will recognize the first few strips, but we’re already writing brand new material that I’m certain you will appreciate.

We will soon be running Webtoons every workday, thanks to the Alt-Hero backers and Arkhaven subscribers.
