MA on the national stage

It’s nice to see a former Minnehaha graduate doing well. At this point, it’s apparent that I’m no longer my high school’s most well-known alum. But I’m almost certainly still the most infamous… not that the academy is any more eager than my university is to acknowledge me as a graduate of their august halls.

He earned his first Division I offer in sixth grade, joined the varsity team at Minnehaha Academy in Minneapolis as a seventh grader, nabbed his first high-major offer a year later, and won three straight state titles in high school, missing out on a chance at an elusive four-peat after COVID-19 cut short his senior season. He won three gold medals with USA Basketball’s youth teams, and became the highest-rated recruit in Gonzaga history when he committed.

It’s a little surreal for those of us who remember Gonzaga as the ultimate Cinderella team to seriously credit the fact that they are serious contenders for the national championship. I’m not a big basketball fan, although I’ll never forget the 1983 championship when NC State upset Phi Slama Jama on the same night that my church team beat Elim Baptist, a team that had beaten us by 47 points during the season, for the Baptist League title. If I recall correctly, I even scored eight points, which may well have been a season high for me as a non-shooting shooting guard.

Anyhow, good luck to Gonzaga. Favorites or not, they’re still the sort of team you almost have to cheer for come March Madness, like Cleveland State, Richmond, and, of course, Bucknell.

Christian persecution… in London

Christians have been expecting active persecution in the West for at least the last 40 years. It may be minor, to date, but it has officially arrived under the guise of “health care”:

A Good Friday service at a Polish church was shut down by police for breaching Covid rules as worshippers were threatened with £200 fines.

Officers shut down the religious ceremony in Balham High Street, south London, at around 5pm yesterday, with footage showing an officer tell worshippers that the gathering is ‘unlawful’ and that they have to go home.

Meanwhile, just under five miles away at a crowded Parliament Square, thousands of protestors gathered at a Kill the Bill rally chanting, banging drums and waving placards before scuffles broke out with police.

The parish Parafia Chrystusa Krola — Christ the Believer — has issued a statement saying it believes police ‘brutally exceeded their powers’.

It urged those present at the ceremony to file a formal complaint to the Metropolitan Police, adding: ‘We asked the police authorities to explain the incident and we are waiting for their response.’

Bishop of Buckingham Rt Rev Alan Wilson also questioned breaking up the service, telling Channel 4 News that the Government needs to clarify its coronavirus guidelines for churches.

And people on social media have slammed the police’s ‘disgraceful’ handling of the situation, with some describing it as ‘deeply offensive’.

Official coronavirus guidance states communal worship or prayer can be attended by as many people as a place of worship can accommodate, as long as they are socially distanced. Masks should be worn, according to the government rules. 

The Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark said the intervention had occurred during the solemn liturgy, which would have taken just 30 minutes to complete.

It is increasingly likely that your faith will be tested during your lifetime. Be ready for the test by deciding if you will follow Jesus Christ or if you will follow Caesar when you are presented with the choice. It will be interesting to see if the Queen, who is the titular head of the Church of England, is willing to accept this overt persecution of Christians  – even if Roman Catholic Christians – in her name.

UPDATE: Apparently the persecution is even worse in Ireland.

It’s now a crime to go to Mass in Ireland, and an Irish priest has recently been fined for celebrating Mass, even though such a law is not in our Constitution or on any legal books. As for the Irish Church: It’s been hijacked, and the fake senior clergy, most of them closet gays, are ‘in bed’ with the anti-Christian Woke State.

He is Risen

 Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”

So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb. Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in. Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head. The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen. Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed.

The darkness of Golgotha

It is common for modern atheists to claim that neither science nor history has detected any sign of the Biblical account of Jesus Christ. But only those who are ignorant of both can make the assertion with a straight face.

It is certainly interesting to observe how even ancient man was trying to explain away supernatural events with natural ones—a hobby often taken up in our modern day. Returning to ancient Greece, we can read from Pseudo-Dionysus in a letter to Polycarp:

Then ask him: “What have you to say about the Solar Eclipse, which occurred when the Savior was put on the cross? At the time the two of us were in Heliopolis and we both witnessed the extraordinary phenomenon of the moon hiding the sun at the time that was out of season for their coming together… We saw the moon begin to hide the sun from the east, travel across to the other side of the sun, and return on its path so that the hiding and the restoration of the light did not take place in the same direction but rather in diametrically opposite directions…”

In 1457, Lorenzo Valla would ridicule this notion that Christ’s crucifixion was caused by an eclipse. In our modern day, NASA and astronomers worldwide would solidify Valla’s position, pointing to the fact that no projection of the ancient past shows an eclipse at that time. And yet it happened. Ancient man was witnessing a global supernatural occurrence.

If we jump to 52 AD, we can read a Greek secular historian named Thallus who recorded the following:

“On the whole world there pressed a most fearful darkness; and the rocks were rent by an earthquake, and many places in Judea and other districts were thrown down. This darkness Thallus, in the third book of his History, calls, as appears to me without reason, an eclipse of the sun.”

Julius Africanus, Chronography, 18:1

This quote of one of Thallus’ lost writings was by Julius Africanus, who was writing about the event around 221 AD. Africanus also discusses another ancient who bore testimony to the darkness of Christ’s crucifixion:

“Phlegon records that, in the time of Tiberius Caesar, at full moon, there was a full eclipse of the sun from the sixth to the ninth hour; it is clear that this is the one. But what have eclipses to do with an earthquake, rocks breaking apart, resurrection of the dead, and a universal disturbance of this nature?”

This very same Phlegon is also quoted in Eusebius’ The Chronological Canons:

“However in the fourth year of the 202nd olympiad, an eclipse of the sun happened, greater and more excellent than any that had happened before it; at the sixth hour, day turned into dark night, so that the stars were seen in the sky, and an earthquake in Bithynia toppled many buildings of the city of Nicaea.” 

FSF fights convergence

The outcome is still in doubt, but for once, the software developers are resisting the forces of convergence:

The Software Priesthood is still saying “we are progressives too”, but this has not been working for them. The only thing that is going to work is identifying and purging the enemy. And since they made no attempt to identify and purge the enemy, I figured that they were a lost cause.

Well, the Software Priesthood are showing signs of life. And the enemy is becoming more visible and distinct as the enemy, shedding its “hail fellow engineer” disguise. The enemy just does not like Western Civilization, nor any of the things that Western Civilization in its greatness created, because what Western Civilization in its greatness created makes their mascots look like plains apes.

This may well turn out to be merely another Comicsgate, which was rapidly conquered by enemy entryists, but the people running the entryists against Comicsgate were smarter than the fans. They are nowhere near as smart as the people they have been purging from the Free Software movement. We shall see what happens.

One thing I’ve noticed is that most of the tough-talking libertarians fold like paper napkins soaked in batter acid in the face of SJW attack. But now that the big-talking weak sisters have been exposed as useless surrender monkeys, people are beginning to understand that they need to find the will to resist the infiltration and convergence on their own.  

The media discovers 2033

Laura Ingraham talked to a historian about the coming breakup of the USA on Fox:

Ingraham: Historian Craig Shirley writes our country is in a vicious toxic relationship with itself. Like any toxic relationship, the only inevitable eventuality is that it will mercifully end with breakup. I don’t see any sort of viable path forward at the rate we’re going. Author and historian Craig Shirley joins me now. Is there really no path in your mind to reconciliation?
Shirley: No, I don’t think so, Laura. Look, we had national glue in the past to hold us together as a nation. We had Manifest Destiny, the Great Depression, we had wars and other activities. Covid should have been the national glue holding us together but it wasn’t. In fact, it drove us further apart. You saw states arguing with states, and states arguing with the national government about how to proceed, how to distribute vaccines. No, I don’t see any choice going forward. It may be a natural thing. Like a Brexit only in the United States, where states, blue states and red states, separate and have some type of friendly trading relationship or friendly transportation relationship, but they are all self-governed. Which is really what the founders intended in the first place.

Demographics is destiny. The dirt is not magic. The civnats have inverted reality and their basic concept entirely backwards: Mexicans are not people who happen to live inside lines on a map called Mexico, Mexico is where Mexicans live. The breakup of the USA is already inevitable and it has been since 1965. But now the concept is being normalized. 

Therefore, it’s time to make sure you’re on the right side of the borders-to-be.

The wicked foundations of Clown World

Clown World is built upon a series of intellectual pillars that range from Darwin, Diderot, and Freud to Einstein, Keynes, and Foucault. The first thing that rapidly becomes apparent when one regards them as a set is first, that they are all frauds. The second thing one realizes is what a collection of seriously evil sexual deviants they tend to be:

A French-American professor has accused fellow intellectual Michel Foucault of being a “paedophile rapist”, a report by The Sunday Times said.

In an interview, Guy Sorman said he found out about Foucault’s behaviour after visiting the late philosopher in Tunisia where he was living in 1969.

“Young children were running after Foucault saying ‘what about me? take me, take me’,” he said to The Sunday Times. “They were eight, nine, ten years old. He was throwing money at them and would say ‘let’s meet at 10pm at the usual place’. He would make love there on the gravestones with young boys. The question of consent wasn’t even raised.”

Sorman argued that Foucault was able to get away with this because of the racial element of his affairs.

“Foucault would not have dared to do it in France… There is a colonial dimension to this. A white imperialism,” Sorman said.

In the interview Sorman said he “regrets” not reporting this “extremely morally ugly” behaviour to the police. He added that the press had been aware of Foucault’s conduct but were reluctant to publish stories due to his status as France’s “philosopher king” alike to that of a “god”.

The philosopher who died in 1984 signed a petition in 1977, which sought to legalise sexual relations with children aged 13 or above.

Don’t be misled. Whatever aspect of Clown World rhetoric happens appeals to you, be it free trade, freedom of expression, libertarianism, judeo-christianity, equality, tolerance, or respect, it’s really all about pedos and human sacrifice. It’s literally all designed to lead there in the end.

The death of Jesus

From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. 46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).

When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He’s calling Elijah.”

Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus to drink. The rest said, “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to save him.”

And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.

At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”

MLB cuts its own throat

Apparently seeing how the NBA ratings have cratered, Major League Baseball has decided that it needs to follow suit and go after that sweet, succulent Social Justice demographic:

Major League Baseball announced Friday that it is moving the 2021 All-Star Game and 2021 draft out of Atlanta in protest of a new Georgia law that has raised concerns about its potential to disproportionately disenfranchise minority voters.

In a statement, MLB commissioner Rob Manfred said the league is “finalizing a new host city and details about these events will be announced shortly.”

A source told ESPN that the All-Star Game is still planned for Los Angeles in 2022 and won’t be moved up to fill the void this summer.

“Over the last week, we have engaged in thoughtful conversations with Clubs, former and current players, the Players Association, and The Players Alliance, among others, to listen to their views,” Manfred said as part of his statement. “I have decided that the best way to demonstrate our values as a sport is by relocating this year’s All-Star Game and MLB Draft.

I’d like to say that I’m going to boycott baseball to express my contempt for MLB’s convergence, but unfortunately, I haven’t seen a baseball game since 1991. 

The Olympics have embraced social justice too, but that’s practically redundant.

The Tsar grows weary of the drama

Russia sends a clear message to the neoclowns: whatever you start in the Ukraine, we will finish:

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Thursday that any attempts to start a new military conflict in Ukraine’s war-torn east could end up destroying Ukraine, the TASS news agency reported.

Translation: Knock it off, neoclowns, or we’ll take the whole of the Ukraine, even though we don’t want it.
