Tucker Carlson places his faith in the right place:
American journalist Tucker Carlson has told RT that he is not afraid of being killed for using his platform to say what he believes is true.
The former Fox News host has adopted a staunch non-interventionist stance toward US involvement in foreign conflicts in recent years, breaking sharply with President Donald Trump on key foreign policy issues such as Washington’s war on Iran and support for Israel. Since leaving the news network, Carlson’s podcast has routinely garnered millions of views and featured high-profile interviews, including a 2024 conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In an exclusive interview with RT’s Rick Sanchez on Wednesday, Carlson said he had “got old enough and insulated enough from the normal levers of control to say what I really think is true. What are you going to do about it? Kill me? OK, I’m not afraid of that. I’m a Christian. So I’m just going to keep talking.
“This Iran war, the war with Russia – these are the things that will destroy the US, and I live here and my family’s been here for 350 years, and… I don’t want to see my country destroyed,” he said.
Let the monsters live in fear. They know they’re damned, so they have to make the most of this life because it’s all they’ve got. For the Christian, death is just the beginning of life.
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
A lot of people quite rightly have questions about Tucker and his CIA links. He has almost certainly served as a gatekeeper of sorts in the past. And perhaps he still does, although his recent interviews tend to argue against that. But I don’t think one can reasonably doubt his commitments to either Jesus Christ or America.
