In just 16 hours and 30 minutes, the Alt★Hero: Q campaign has reached 50 percent of its $50k goal with 335 backers. This is a very good start, although it doesn’t appear that the campaign will threaten Ethan van Sciver’s Cyberfrog record of $93k on Day One. But if the QAnon crowd elects to get behind the graphic novel, perhaps Cyberfrog‘s other records of 8426 backers and $530k total campaign funding will prove to be within reach.
The number of backers is particularly encouraging, as it indicates that the campaign will likely have more than 1k more backers than the original campaign by the time it ends.
If you supported the campaign, thank you very much. We won’t let you down. If you’re considering doing so, I’d encourage you to go ahead and take the leap of faith. The art team has confirmed that they are on-board for the entire graphic novel and The Legend Chuck Dixon is probably wrapping up Issue #3 already at this minute. Seriously, he’s one-man production machine and speaking as a professional comic book writer, I can honestly say that I hate him and his smug “hey, so here’s ANOTHER completed script!”
(That tapping sound you hear is the pencils of Cliff Cosmic and Richard Bonk as they wait patiently for more AH #5 and AH #7 script.)
And speaking of hate, the comics-SJWs have learned to maintain a strategic radio silence, but the QAnon-skeptics have not. From Twitter, a few reactions to the AH:Q trailer.

This isn’t the stupidest thing I’ve seen all day, but it’s close. Actually: correction. It is the stupidest thing I’ve seen all day, and that includes spilling fruit punch energy drink all over the interior of my car. #QAnon #FollowTheWhiteRabbit #Resist

Full retard: Q Comics. ???
UPDATE: AH:Q Day One total: 481 backers, $37,312, and 75 percent of goal. That’s actually better than the original Alt-Hero campaign, which came in at exactly $37,000 on the first day! Thanks very much to everyone who backed. We’ve still got 29 days left, so spread the word!
