I know I’m shocked

Oopsy! We’re just so careless, don’t you know:

An internal FBI audit has found that the bureau potentially violated the law or agency rules more than 1,000 times while collecting data about domestic phone calls, e-mails and financial transactions in recent years, far more than was documented in a Justice Department report in March that ignited bipartisan congressional criticism.

I’m just wondering how long it takes before Americans wake up and finally realize they are living in a police state and that their God-given liberties are nonexistent. None of this surprises me, of course, I saw where it was going more than a decade ago. And if you think it’s going to stop anytime soon, well, you’re simply not paying attention.

But at least you can be secure in the knowledge that you’re safe from Emmanuel Goldstein. And tigers.
