Europe is not actually a political construction. Europe is spiritual Lebensraum.
That’s courtesy of Hans Gerg Poetterung, a theoretically conservative member of the European Parliament. The EU is the Fourth Reich; remember, the Austrian Anschluss was peaceful too. If it wasn’t a good idea for Germany to rule over an undemocratic Europe in 1940, why is it a good thing in 2005?
