It always amused me when feminists were outraged by John Norman’s GOR novels, which are Conanesque soft-core adventure porn. With titles like SLAVE GIRLS OF GOR, you can understand why they were irritated, especially since the fiesty captured princess who is sexually awoken by the sensuous appeal of her slave collar was a regular theme. The punch line, however, is that the GOR books are far more widely read by women than by men.
