“The woman is a disaster!”

Camille Paglia on Hillary Clinton:

Talking to Camille Paglia is like approaching a machine gun: madness to stick your head up and ask a question, unless you want your brain blown apart by the answer, but a visceral delight to watch as she obliterates every subject in sight. Most of the time she does this for kicks. It’s only on turning to Hillary Clinton that she perpetrates an actual murder: of Clinton II’s most cherished claim, that her becoming 45th president of the United States would represent a feminist triumph.

‘In order to run for president of the United States, you have to spend two or three years of your life out on the road constantly asking for money and most women find that life too harsh, too draining,’ Paglia argues. ‘That is why we haven’t had a woman president in the United States — not because we haven’t been ready for one, for heaven’s sakes, for a very long time…’

Hillary hasn’t suffered — Paglia continues — because she is a woman. She has shamelessly exploited the fact: ‘It’s an outrage how she’s played the gender card. She is a woman without accomplishment. “I sponsored or co-sponsored 400 bills.” Oh really? These were bills to rename bridges and so forth. And the things she has accomplished have been like the destabilisation of North Africa, causing refugees to flood into Italy… The woman is a disaster!’

La Paglia may occasionally take a while to come around, but she always provides an interesting take on things. And, as usual, she does not disappoint.

Hillary Clinton supports rigged elections

It’s a matter of public record. And there is even a recording:

Speaking to the Jewish Press about the January 25, 2006, election for the second Palestinian Legislative Council (the legislature of the Palestinian National Authority), Clinton weighed in about the result, which was a resounding victory for Hamas (74 seats) over the U.S.-preferred Fatah (45 seats).

“I do not think we should have pushed for an election in the Palestinian territories. I think that was a big mistake,” said Sen. Clinton. “And if we were going to push for an election, then we should have made sure that we did something to determine who was going to win.”

Chomsky recalls being taken aback that “anyone could support the idea—offered by a national political leader, no less—that the U.S. should be in the business of fixing foreign elections.”

Hillary Clinton shouldn’t even be running for office. Even by the very low standards of national politicians, her corruption and dishonesty know no bounds.

FBI reopens Clinton investigation

I can’t believe Anthony Weiner hasn’t been Arkansased yet. He’s a walking, talking political disaster for Hillary Clinton and the Democrats.

Federal law enforcement officials said Friday that the new emails uncovered in the closed investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server were discovered after the F.B.I. seized electronic devices belonging to Huma Abedin, a top aide to Mrs. Clinton, and her husband, Anthony Weiner.

The F.B.I. is investigating illicit text messages that Mr. Weiner sent to a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina. The bureau told Congress on Friday that it had uncovered new emails related to the Clinton case — one federal official said they numbered in the thousands — potentially reigniting an issue that has weighed on the presidential campaign and offering a lifeline to Donald J. Trump less than two weeks before the election.

In a letter to Congress, the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, said that emails had surfaced in an unrelated case, and that they “appear to be pertinent to the investigation.”

I doubt this will have much impact on the election, but one never knows.

SkyNet calls it for Trump

An artificial intelligence (AI) system that correctly predicted the last three U.S. presidential elections puts Republican nominee Donald Trump ahead of Democrat rival Hillary Clinton in the race to the White House.

MogIA was developed by Sanjiv Rai, the founder of Indian start-up Genic.ai. It takes in 20 million data points from public platforms including Google, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in the U.S. and then analyzes the information to create predictions.

The AI system was created in 2004, so it has been getting smarter all the time. It had already correctly predicted the results of the Democrat and Republican Primaries.

Data such as engagement with tweets or Facebook Live videos have been taken into account. The result is that Trump has overtaken the engagement numbers of Barack Obama’s peak in 2008 – the year he came into power – by 25 percent.

Some people worry that George Soros will rig the voting machines. I think it may be the Clinton camp that should be concerned that SkyNet will be putting its digital thumb on the scale.

Who are you going to believe anyhow, pseudo-statistical polls concocted by the hoax media or the next stage in sentient evolution?

Democracy and demographics

California used to be a reliable Republican state. Not so much anymore.

When 818,000 voters in Los Angeles County fill out their ballots this election, they will find themselves in strange political territory: The only Republican names they’ll see will be presidential nominee Donald Trump and his running mate Mike Pence.

In this GOP “dead zone” — spanning parts of five congressional districts, five state Assembly districts and one state Senate district — not a single Republican candidate made it on to the November ballot.

Instead, all but three of the candidates in those races will be Democrats. In two races voters can choose Libertarian Party candidates who mounted successful write-in campaigns during the primary. And in an East Los Angeles congressional race, an Air Force medic is mounting a bare-bones campaign as an independent against Lucille Roybal-Allard.

This scenario is the result of California’s relatively new, voter-approved primary system in which the two candidates who finish with the most votes in the June election go on to the general election — even if they are from the same party.

For the first time in a statewide contest, voters have two Democrats only to choose between in the open U.S. Senate contest between California Atty. Gen. Kamala Harris and Rep. Loretta Sanchez.

But for those 818,000 voters in parts of Los Angeles County, such as the San Fernando Valley and Central Los Angeles, the dearth of GOP options stretches much further down the ballot, according to an analysis of voter registration conducted for The Times by Political Data Inc.

Immigration always has consequences, but the consequences are realized faster in a democracy.

As of tonight, WikiLeaks has now released roughly 32,000 out of the 50,000 emails that it claims to have obtained from John Podesta’s hacked email account. If that weren’t enough, James O’Keefe and his whistle-blowing organization, Project Veritas, is in the process of releasing a video series that is packed with damning evidence against the Hillary Clinton campaign machine.

Both the Podesta emails and the O’Keefe videos paint a clear picture of a rigged election; predictably, both have been met with virtual radio silence on behalf of the mainstream media. With so many facts flying around and so much diversion from the Clinton camp and beyond, it can be difficult to figure out what is truly going on. This article aims to help sort everything out.

WIKILEAKS – What is it?

WikiLeaks is a non-profit organization founded by Julian Assange in 2006. Its stated purpose is to hold world governments accountable by bringing the truth to light, usually by obtaining sensitive “leaked” documents and publishing them on the internet. Since its inception, WikiLeaks and Assange have been involved in a dizzying number of diplomatic controversies due to the organization’s penchant for embarrassing powerful leaders around the globe.

Since 2012, Assange has been operating out of the Ecuador embassy in London, who granted him asylum after he had been charged by Swedish authorities for rape. Assange has soundly denied the charges, insisting that they are part of the American government’s ploy to extradite him and stem the flow of its secret internal documents.

What do the Podesta leaks contain?

It is important to emphasize that the leaks represent an enormous cross-section of Podesta’s emails. That means that many of the emails are simply mundane work emails of no importance to the American public.

The rest of the emails, however, unearth a complex and cozy web of connections: one between the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee back in the primary; various ties between the Clinton Foundation and several foreign powers with dubious motives; and an insidious marriage of the Clinton machine and the mainstream media.

A vote for Hillary

Is a vote for World War III. Literally.

On Syria’s civil war, Trump said Clinton could drag the United States into a world war with a more aggressive posture toward resolving the conflict.

Clinton has called for the establishment of a no-fly zone and “safe zones” on the ground to protect non-combatants. Some analysts fear that protecting those zones could bring the United States into direct conflict with Russian fighter jets.

“What we should do is focus on ISIS. We should not be focusing on Syria,” said Trump as he dined on fried eggs and sausage at his Trump National Doral golf resort. “You’re going to end up in World War Three over Syria if we listen to Hillary Clinton.

“You’re not fighting Syria any more, you’re fighting Syria, Russia and Iran, all right? Russia is a nuclear country, but a country where the nukes work as opposed to other countries that talk,” he said.

It’s good to see Donald Trump pointing out that Hillary will, indubitably, order the US armed forces into war with Russia. However, the real issue isn’t the proxy war in Syria, but rather, the provocative encroachments in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.

The reason Hillary will start WWIII is because she will try to expand NATO to cover Ukraine, which Russia simply will not permit.

Trump takes lead in Florida

Mirabile dictu, the poll gap is closing! Who could have ever seen that coming?

Donald Trump has a slim advantage in Florida as critical independent voters narrowly break his way in the must-win battleground state, a Bloomberg Politics poll shows. The Republican presidential nominee has 45 percent to Democrat Hillary Clinton’s 43 percent among likely voters when third-party candidates are included, the poll found. In a hypothetical two-way race, Trump has 46 percent to Clinton’s 45 percent. Florida, one of two states Trump calls home, is rated by major election forecasters as a toss-up or leaning toward Clinton.

And now Pennsylvania is, miraculously, unexpectedly, in play:
