Vermont is doomed

World War III increasingly looks like it is going to be really weird.

Israel’s president has been targeted by a barrage of social media snark after he bravely compared Ben & Jerry’s decision, to stop selling its ice cream in the occupied Palestinian territories, to terrorism.

The Vermont-based ice cream brand, which has developed a reputation over the years as a champion of progressive causes, announced earlier this week that it would be “inconsistent” with its values to sell its ice cream in Gaza and the West Bank. The boycott was prompted by “concerns shared with us by our fans and trusted partners,” the left-leaning ice cream maker explained.

The decision sparked both applause and condemnation but, on Wednesday, Israel’s President Isaac Herzog issued a uniquely extreme analysis of the move.

“The boycott of Israel is a new sort of terrorism, economic terrorism,” Herzog said, as quoted by Haaretz. “Terrorism tries to harm the citizens of Israel and the economy of Israel. We must oppose this boycott and terrorism in any form.”

No doubt this will puzzle the historians of the future. It’s already confusing enough to try to understand how the assassination of a minor figure of the Austro-Hungarian nobility by Serbs led to war between the USA and Germany, but can you imagine trying to explain how World War III was started by an IDF attack on a pair of aging hippies in Burlington, Vermont?

Mailvox: changing the lyrics

Replace the word ‘pillow’ with the word ‘murder’.

Hush now, hush now, the murder comes….

See, that doesn’t work. It creates an image of a large group of crows landing on the Boomer for some inexplicable reason rather than one of him being gently smothered by a foreigner in his nursing home.

Why cant you mock the boomer without inciting murder?

But I most certainly can! And have! What part of “Proud to be a Boomer” incited murder?

I’m proud to be a Boomer

‘Cos this world was made for me

And The Beatles were the greatest band in human history.

But I don’t recall the Boomers being any happier about that one. Just can’t please some people, I guess.

Mailvox: a dialogue with a doctor

Dear Sir:

Like you, I am disgusted with how this epidemic has been politicized.  After being managed very well medically, it has been denied by those who now plan a Gestapo-like invasion of privacy to confirm vaccination.  (But what would I know as I have only been a doc for a mere half-century and have no brothers in high office), nevertheless, I think your blog is in error.

Numbers of my friends have and have relations who have died from this disease. Indeed, 509 ppl have died in the AL since April.

While I am no longer practicing since last October due to unrelated medical problems, I nevertheless thought it prudent, at 72, to get the vaccine the day it first became available. I hold no opinion about people who choose not to be vaccinated, just as long as they do not invent stupid narratives in an attempt to get others to validate their poor decision by making worse decisions based on bad data.

Walter C Boutwell, MD

[Redacted], Alabama

The mRNA fake vaccines are complete bullshit. If you understood either statistics or science, you would know that. If you have an issue with Denninger’s chart, take it up with the reporting agency.

I could not care less if people over 70 take the vaccines or not. They’re going to die of something sooner or later, and if it makes them feel better, so be it. But it is a heinous crime against humanity to encourage anyone under the age of 40 to take it when it a) won’t protect them against a disease that is very, very unlikely to harm them, b) won’t protect anyone else, and c) will harm them.

You doctors are not the causal problem, but you’re certainly part of the practical one due to your collective inability to be reasonably skeptical of what the drug companies tell you. For example, how many people did you personally harm by prescribing Vioxx to them? And what’s your excuse going to be when it becomes clear that the Covid vaccines are killing more Americans than guns are?

Finally, even if 509 people died in Alabama, you know damn well that not a single one of them was a “healthy young person” died of Covid at a Birmingham hospital in 2021. Not one. I happen to know a nurse who worked on the Covid ward of a large hospital during the height of the pandemic, I specifically asked her about the age range of those who were on the ward, and the youngest person she saw who required hospitalization during the entire six-month period was over 65.

Prove any of your contentions.

Hush, Boomer.

So, after all the hyperbole and shit storm you are reduced to ad hominem argument. Run away, little blogger. But next time, be seen and not heard.

What part of “Hush, Boomer” was hard for you to understand? Ask not for whom the pillow fluffs, Herr Doktor Boomer, it fluffs for thee.
You know this jackass of an ex-doctor never bothered to ask the pharmaceutical companies to prove any of their contentions when they gave him various substances to inject into his uninformed and unsuspecting patients over the decades. But the minute that someone challenges the obvious absurdities, incoherencies, and obvious falsehoods of the current mainstream narrative, suddenly the Boomer requires a gold-plated, peer-reviewed study published by Nature and personally attested by the sworn statements of no less than six Nobel Prize winners before he’ll even consider the possibility that it’s false.

Putting kids at real risk

There is absolutely no science supporting vaccinating children against Covid and a vast mountain of logic against it:

A tremendous number of government and private policies affecting kids are based on one number: 335. That is how many children under 18 have died with a Covid diagnosis code in their record, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Yet the CDC, which has 21,000 employees, hasn’t researched each death to find out whether Covid caused it or if it involved a pre-existing medical condition.

Without these data, the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices decided in May that the benefits of two-dose vaccination outweigh the risks for all kids 12 to 15. I’ve written hundreds of peer-reviewed medical studies, and I can think of no journal editor who would accept the claim that 335 deaths resulted from a virus without data to indicate if the virus was incidental or causal, and without an analysis of relevant risk factors such as obesity.

My research team at Johns Hopkins worked with the nonprofit FAIR Health to analyze approximately 48,000 children under 18 diagnosed with Covid in health-insurance data from April to August 2020. Our report found a mortality rate of zero among children without a pre-existing medical condition such as leukemia.

They’re risking mass heart attacks and sterilization in order to reduce a mortality rate of zero. This goes well beyond stupidity and insanity, it’s pure and unmitigated evil. The CDC should be shut down and all of its employees arrested and prosecuted for medical malpractice and manslaughter.

Boomer Patrol

We had a good time on the Darkstream last night, playing both of the great John Bradley’s Boomer songs. You’ve probably already heard his inspirational Hand Over Fluffy Pillow, and his heartfelt rendition of Hush Now is even better.

The beautifully ominous third verse is definitely my favorite:

Now I’m walking in time to the beat of your heart

And I’m counting the steps to the door of your room

Only shadows attend, as the pillows descend

Get to know the feeling of liberation and release

Hush now, hush now, don’t breathe now Boomer

Hush now, hush now, the pillows come

The retardery increases

The vaccine propagandists must be getting desperate if they think this sort of sob story is going to convince anyone to get the #killshot:

Dr. Brytney Cobia, a hospitalist at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, wrote in a recent Facebook post she is treating a lot of young, otherwise healthy people for serious coronavirus infections.

“One of the last things they do before they’re intubated is beg me for the vaccine,” she wrote. “I hold their hand and tell them that I’m sorry, but it’s too late.”

In her post, Cobia wrote that when a patient dies, she hugs their family members and urges them to get vaccinated. She said they cry and tell her they thought the pandemic was a “hoax,” or “political,” or targeting some other age group or skin color.

“They wish they could go back. But they can’t,” Cobia wrote. “So they thank me and they go get the vaccine. And I go back to my office, write their death note, and say a small prayer that this loss will save more lives.”

Of all the things that never happened, that never happened the most. First, the name is fake. Second, intubation has been proven to be a good way to kill Covid patients. Third, and most importantly, no one has died of Covid in Alabama since April. Karl Denninger demonstrates how dialectic can destroy rhetoric when applied properly.

This story is from Alabama.

Now I want you to look very carefully at this table. Here’s the source link, complete with four separate copies of the same bull**** story in different “news” outlets.

According to that table not one person has died since the end of April in Alabama from Covid-19 according to that graph which goes through 7/20 — yesterday.

What is “99{cc08d85cfa54367952ab9c6bd910a003a6c2c0c101231e44cdffb103f39b73a6} (unvaccinated) of ZERO (all people who died of Covid in Alabama SINCE APRIL)”?

ZERO!

You’d have to be retarded to believe that sob story. And you really have to be retarded to get vaccinated against Covid.

Go woke and choke

Such a humiliating defeat at the Tokyo Olympics couldn’t happen to a more deserving gaggle of girls:

The reigning World Cup champs played like world-class chumps in a group-stage opening soccer match at the Tokyo Olympics on Wednesday.

The U.S. Women’s national soccer team lost 3-0 to Sweden, ending a 44-game American unbeaten streak in international play. The string extends back to January 2019.

Sweden eliminated the U.S. in the quarterfinals of the 2016 Rio Olympics, the team’s earliest exit ever.

Two goals from Stina Blackstenius and one from Lina Hurtig led Sweden.

Perhaps they should worry a little less about politics and thought-policing and focus a little more on, you know, actually playing soccer.
